He is a JMU alum and spent several years in the Marching Royal Dukes and as a DJ at WXJM. Seth has been a wonderful asset to our events the past few years. He's run music for us from 80 people to 2,000! He knows how to bring the vibes you are going for, brings ideas to the table, comes prepared, dresses the part and is so much fun to work with. I highly recommend him!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! DJ Seth brought all the right vibes at the right times. We had planning sessions together to find what music fit best during different moments of the evening, and Seth was able to take our vision and curate the perfect playlist. We had guests coming up to us saying that it was the best wedding they ever attended because of the dance party!

Seth gave great support for a lengthy multicultural wedding
Seth was proactive, communicative, thorough, professional, flexible, and effective. He met with us multiple times before the wedding day and walked through his full "show notes" document, which was incredibly helpful for us to think through every detail.
Seth had to take on multiple moving parts: our wedding day had 2 full ceremonies, including an intermission, cocktail hour, and reception. It also included a cultural wedding style that was new to Seth, yet he was totally on board, and provided some good new ideas too.
I highly recommend having "moonlight dance" for a private moment to yourselves at the end of the wedding day.
Make sure you're ready to be detailed about your music plans. Double check your timelines and the math on your invoices.
I had zero concerns during the wedding day about the music.

We loved working with DJ Seth and our guests loved him too! More than a week after our wedding day, our friends and family are still raving about our wedding DJ and he is by far the vendor that our guests mentioned the most in recounting the wedding reception. From the beginning, DJ Seth put us at ease with his organized workflow and his calm demeanor. He sent us a Google Doc early in the planning process with page after page of spaces for us to write out our musical preferences and song requests. He gave us free rein to customize the playlist as little or as much as we wanted to. On the wedding day, DJ Seth managed to set up three different audio stations across our wedding venue in just over an hour and they all worked seamlessly throughout our day. When it came time for dancing, DJ Seth played all of our favorite songs and then some, blending songs from across eras and genres. DJ Seth genuinely seemed like he was having fun doing his thing in his extremely cool custom DJ booth and his positive energy made the dance floor that much more fun. We truly loved working with DJ Seth and we wish we could throw another party just to have him DJ again!! I definitely recommend hiring DJ Seth! You won’t regret it.

I would highly recommend DJ Seth to anyone having an event! He made the entire process so seamless and easy, from the first phone call to the last. He really took the time to get to know the type of music my husband and I like and had each section of the wedding planned perfectly. Who knew there were so many different types of music, from prelude, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner music and dancing music. Seth made this process so fun! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to go over music that we typically wouldn't think about, but with Seth's expertise, we were able to create a pretty epic playlist! Book DJ Seth for your next event! If you want a highly customizable playlist, Seth is your guy! He played all the songs we wanted and was very professional, super organized and easy to work with. I am very picky about music and Seth did a great job playing all the bangers to keep us dancing all night. Highly recommend!

I knew Seth was the best choice for our wedding DJ from our first conversation and he proved it every step of the way. He was professional through it all. His planning document really helped with getting all the details nailed down from the ceremony to the last song of our dance. He also played exactly what we wanted for our dance. He brought the energy and even matched our energy as well. He communicated really well through the whole process as well. He is a true professional and I would recommend him to anybody!

Seth was an AMAZING DJ at our wedding! He was so easy to work with, listened to exactly what we wanted, and made sure our guests had a wonderful time the entire wedding. Seth made sure everyone was out on the dance floor the whole reception. He gave us a super helpful planning sheet that had everything organized for the ceremony music, cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception. You could tell right away Seth knew exactly what he was doing. He even scheduled a phone call with us a couple weeks before the wedding to iron out all the big an small details for the day. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing DJ! Our guests have not stopped talking about how fun our reception was.

Choosing DJ Seth Casana for our wedding was by far one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Choosing a DJ was one of my biggest concerns because they have such a huge impact on how your wedding is remembered. My husband and I knew that having a lively dance floor was a priority and Seth made it happen. From the very beginning of the process Seth was professional and made choosing the perfect sound track for us easy. Whether you know exactly what songs you want to be played or you just have a loose idea of what genres you want to hear, Seth has you covered. Seth has a custom built portable sound system that made our outdoor ceremony a breeze. Seth was super relaxed when it came down to the time line of the day and was more than willing to work with us when we made in the moment changes. Our guests ranged from ages 14 - late 80s and Seth knew exactly how to read the crowd and get everyone on the dance floor. We couldn't recommend him enough!

I think he’s an extremely fun DJ! My only feeling is I would have enjoyed the songs being a little shorter to enjoy more music! I think he’s amazing though and would highly recommend!

Unlike other DJ's that I interviewed for our daughter's wedding reception Seth is GENUINE! This came across in our phone interview months before her wedding and was validated by how he carried out his duties at the reception. He never sought to be the center of attention as I've seen other DJ's do! His moderation of key moments during the reception - toasts, grand entrance, father-daughter dance, etc. - was spot on. Leading up to the reception he worked with our daughter and her partner to define the play list, giving them ideas along the way. With 1 daughter left to get married, I am sure to be a repeat customer!

From the start we knew Seth was going to be a good time just by seeing his Instagram! He for sure did not let us down! DJ Seth exemplified professionalism from the get-go: He had a comprehensive contract including a timeline for the evening and also included a song request list (and "do not play" list). He's a great communicator for logistics prior to the evening to ensure that everything runs smooth during the event. He was cordial to the host of the event space and a great personality to have around guests at the party. His DJ set rocked with great-sounding equipment. Finally, at the end of the night, his breakdown was efficient and clean.

Seth was absolutely AMAZING. He was hired to DJ a company holiday party and he didn't disappoint! He kept everyone up on the dance floor literally - all night long! Hiring Seth as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the very first moment we reached out to Seth, he was quick to respond, professional, knowledgeable, and beyond kind. We never once worried about the entertainment at our wedding because we felt so comfortable with Seth’s abilities.
Seth had a digital planning sheet for us which made logistics a breeze, and he spoke to us for an hour over the phone a month or so before the wedding, for a final call to go over every last detail. Seth’s passion for what he does was evident in every interaction we had with him.
He arrived super early the day of the wedding so that he was set up and ready. The music he played for us during cocktail hour and dinner was absolute perfection. He kept the party going on the dance floor for the reception and was just such a perfect addition to our special day.

We hired Seth for our (non-wedding) celebration. When we inquired about his availability, he responded promptly. He sent us a playlist form well ahead of our party date and collaborated with us on our play list. At the party he performed exactly as we had planned. Our guests danced the night away and had a blast. They raved about our DJ. Seth made our party successful. I would hire him again and highly recommend him.
