Dress Lounge

I got my wedding gown at the dress lounge January 2020 right before the pandemic. I have to say they have stunning gowns and this is a hidden gem in Kingston ! I grew up in West Wyoming and had no idea this place even existed ! I was blown away ! Given my wedding needed to be postponed because of Covid they made sure to get me my dress way in advance and were very accommodating with making appointments for me to try it on! I got my veil and headband from here as well. I loved my wedding gown so much and the girls did a great job in making my time at the DL very special. I did come back with my bridesmaids to get their gowns. We had beautiful pink gowns for the bridesmaids with bejeweled straps and the MOHs were in the same gown in floral. We did have a large bridal party (8 maids total) and it was a weekend close to closing time so it did feel rushed toward the end. I would recommend making an appointment earlier in the day if you have a large bridal party. We had a lot of people traveling out of town (myself included) and hence that is why we ended up with a later appointment. I do have to say they did a great job in getting the gowns to my girls and we just loved the gowns so much. Thank you for making my special day so incredible and making me feel like a princess (:

The Dress Lounge was the second dress shop I visited, and I knew I didn't have to visit any others. They have a gorgeous selection, lots of unique gowns, and a super helpful staff. I absolutely LOVED my dress!

Buyer BEWARE! There are NO RETURNS FOR ANY REASON. My mother never picked up her dress...never took the dress out of the store, called within 24 hours of its purchase to cancel and they refused. THE DRESS IS STILL THERE. They will smile while they work the sale but once the transaction is completed that is where the customer service ends. I will never recommend this store for any reason.

I would absolutely recommend Jennifer Rushton, and her amazing girls to anyone, for the perfect dress shopping experience. I didn't realize how nervous I would be, walking into a bridal salon for the first time! and beyond bridal, they have absolutely stunning dresses for prom, special occasions, mother of the bride, and bridesmaids! I did not necessarily have a vision beyond wanting lace and looking elegant. My nerves were instantly comforted from the moment I walked in the door. Everyone was beyond friendly, warm, and welcoming. Without a vision beyond lace and one dress I saw on their awesome social media page, I asked if they would pull whatever they thought would be perfect for me. And let me tell you, they did just that! the third dress I tried on, I immediately knew it was meant to be! And so did my family. A beautiful lace gown that makes me feel like a princess. And Jennifer was so incredibly helpful when it came to accessorizing! She helped me pick a gorgeous long veil, trimmed with lace, and a stunning hair accessory, that was exactly what I had envisioned. My bridesmaids also wound up getting their dresses here as well. They had just the perfect color I had envisioned, and so many beautiful choices so the girls could all find something they were comfortable in. And they sure did! The whole experience from the time I walked through the door, to going back to try it on when it came in, (and right in the timeframe they told me to expect it!) to going back with my bridesmaids to pick out their dresses....was made SO incredibly easy because of their professionalism, and the knowledge they share to make the whole process a stress-free one! Gorgeous selection of gowns that are absolutely affordable, for everyone!

I can’t express how much I love this shop. When it came time for me to look for my wedding for our big day; Jennifer, Morgan, and all the amazing woman at The Dress Lounge we’re nothing but AMAZING. These women were the most patient, kindest, and most helpful when I went in to look for a dress. Not only did I just find my dress here, but, I also found my bridesmaid dresses and my mother’s dress and I couldn’t be any happier. I highly recommend going to the Dress Lounge for your dress! You won’t be disappointed.

I purchased my wedding gown from Dress Lounge. The consultant was great and very professional with me. However, that was the only good part. They sold me a Sample gown that was a size 12. I am roughly a size 2/4. The consultant and owner assured me it would fit great. I believed them because I figured they were experienced with the sizing and fitting of gowns. They provided me with a list of "preferred" seamstresses for me to contact to have the dress altered. The first one I took the dress to started pinning the dress but stated it was still going to be very loose on me and that "there was nothing she could do". I was so upset I left the shop nearly in tears. I contacted the owner and she advised me to take the dress to another seamstress. On top of the dress not fitting like I was assured, there were also several stains on it. Either coffee or soda. I understand it was a sample but beverage stains are a different story. The owner offered to have it cleaned but the second seamstress was able to take the stains out. She was also confident she could alter the dress. Now, 3 months before my wedding, and to make a long story a little shorter, I now have the dress and it STILL does not fit properly because it was to large for my body in the first place. The owner does not want to do anything for me other then sell me another sample dress since its 3 months before my wedding and I'm out of options as well as ojt $1400. I understand they have a no returns no exchanges policy but this is a different situation. They sold me a dress that was never going to fit me. Even the seamstress stated the dress was not the correct size. Clearly they do not know how to size dresses and nor do they not understand how dresses have to be altered. Avoid this shop and do not buy a sample dress! Even if you are tempted by a lower price. I dont want other girls to be heartbroken like I am.

One of the most important details of my wedding I was set on was a long sleeve dress. I looked EVERYWHERE for a dress like this and the only place that had one was The Dress Lounge, so I set up an appointment. From the start, the dress consultants were so supportive and complimentary as I tried on other styles of dresses. They gave me honest feedback but always asked me how I felt in each one. Then, when it came time to try on the long sleeve dress, I knew it was the one. Wearing that dress was one of the top things I was most excited about for my wedding and I can’t thank The Dress Lounge enough for making my dream come true!

I found the most amazing dress here last weekend!! I had no idea on where I wanted to be with my dress so just tried whatever caught my eye on. One of their newest workers found one and it was PERFECT!!! I fell in love!!! They made it so easy and had such amazing dresses to pick from!!!

The ladies at the Dress Lounge were incredible to work with! They were so kind and patient with me shopping for a wedding gown.. I told them my vision of what I wanted, and they found it! The first dress I tried on was the one! I arrived early and was finished before my scheduled appointment time.. they were awesome about making the experience memorable. They took photos with my mom and friend that came with me, and even let us face time my sister so she could be there as well! I would highly recommend this shop to all brides looking for a memorable experience :)

I must say that the experience of choosing my gown for my wedding was the most enjoyable part of this journey. The consultants at The Dress Lounge provided a relaxing atmosphere that felt unrushed and pampering. I arrived with a style in mind and was given many beautiful choices, but it was when Jenn said "did you have a picture of ONE that you were truly drawn to?" and I showed her my phone and she exclaimed "We have that dress!" and when I put it on - it was magical. I said yes to THAT dress. My entire bridal party said yes to their dresses and I said yes to a rehearsal dinner cocktail number to die for. Most importantly, the quality, selection and customer care shown at The Dress Lounge is superior. If you want a relaxing, elegant experience, and leave with THE dress.....see the Lounge Ladies!

I love the Dress Lounge! I went to several dress shops before I found the perfect fit. I got both my wedding dress and my bridesmaid gowns here and am SO happy with both the dresses and the level of professionalism the staff exhibited. 10/10 on both quality of their dresses and my experience. I went there for my bridal dress, they made the experience wonderful! They were really helpful as a tall bride figuring ordering extra length. went back to get my bridesmaids dresses and had another fantastic experience!

I fell in love with my dress as soon as I walked in and saw it at a Dress Lounge booth at a bridal show. I was SO excited to go and try it on that I set up an appointment the next day! The shop was extremely accommodating of my large group and gave honest opinions on all dresses that I tried on. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 stars because this shop does NOT allow you to take any photos when you are trying on a dress. I found this to be a large turn off, especially when you're making such a large decision. I would have loved nothing more than to be able to take my photos home and truly make a solid decision than one on the spot. I also gave a 4 because the shop does not do any returns/credits. One of my bridesmaids had a very difficult time even thought they hadn't even order her dress yet. It was quite a headache and the shop was not willing to work with us in any way possible. Overall, I appreciated their dedication to making my dress experience very worthwhile!

The Dress Lounge is amazing! I purchased my bridal dress, veil, and all of my bridesmaids dresses from the Dress Lounge! The entire staff was amazing to work with, and all of my items actually arrived earlier than expected! I highly recommend the Dress Lounge for your wedding dress, and all of your bridal needs!

Jen and her staff are amazing. I'm so happy we heard of the Dress Lounge before pulling the trigger elsewhere. Don't let the small building fool you. They've got dresses for every occasion so you're sure to find something you love. The entire experience was unique and special. They gave me tons of attention when trying on wedding dresses and gave honest opinions, regardless of price. They ended up being my first and only stop for my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner dresses as well. You will not be disappointed.

The Dress Lounge was the absolute perfect place for me to buy my wedding dress. I had it set in my head they type of dress I was getting. Although the staff entertained my ideas and brought me some versions to try on, they also brought me other dresses that they felt would look great on me. I tried them on just to be accommodating. And guess what? When I tried on the other 2 they selected, I absolutely fell in love with them and felt so glamourous. I completely changed my mind and went with an entirely different dress. This is what being a true professional means. The staff at The Dress Lounge know dresses. They know brides. And they know what type of dress looks good on what kind of body. I am so thankful I chose this shop for my wedding. I felt like a starlet on my wedding day!

The experience my daughter, myself and her bridal party had was so amazing. Jen and her staff very attentive and helpful. My daughter wanted to go to Kleinfelds for the whole pampering experience. At the Dress Lounge she received that and so much more. If you want an amazing experience for dress shopping for any occasion, you must stop in to see Jen and her staff at the Dress Lounge.

I just said yes to the dress today at The Dress Lounge! I honestly can not say enough great things about the entire experience. The ladies there make you feel so comfortable and very special with their one on one attention. They have a large selection of beautiful wedding, bridesmaid and special occasions dresses . I would go here a million times over!

I got my bridesmaids dresses here and the whole experience was seamless.I felt like I was in good hands, because the employees really seem to know what they are talking about. They are very good at talking you through your options to get at the core of what you want, even if YOU don't know. They also provided not one but TWO EXCELLENT recommendations for both a tailor and a bakery. I already had my wedding dress when I came to their shop, but I wish I had gone here first, as they made dress shopping stress-free and fun
