ok the time to get to know us as a couple and that relationship built with her as our photographer was so special, especially on our wedding day when she was there every step of the way capturing those magical moments for us! She has such a gift and I give her my highest recommendation as a wedding photographer! We also booked her for a family photo shoot this year with our puppy because it just makes sense for her to continue capturing life moments for us! Erika we love you!!!

nd spending that much on a photographer, I thought Erika would’ve treated us better. We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19, and Erika couldn’t be there on the new date we picked. Instead she had someone else shoot our wedding. And instead of having two shooters like stated in the package we purchased, only one was able to shoot my wedding. Erika discounted my total, but it was extremely disappointing to pick a package with two shooters, and not get two shooters. The photographer Erika picked was Summer. Summer was very sweet, but she wasn’t the photographer we paid for. Even though Summer photographed our wedding, Erika edited them and sent them to us. It didn’t make any sense to me that Erika would edit them when she didn’t take them but whatever. We got our pictures back and we were disappointed. They were dark and just not as great as I would’ve imagined spending that much money would’ve gotten us. After we received our pictures, we ended up emailing Erika to ask for specific pictures that she didn’t send. It made us think about all the precious pictures we possibly didn’t receive. It has just been an extremely disappointing experience. I wish I could go back in time and pick a different photographer. I’d say if you are deciding between Erika and another photographer, go with the other photographer.

fter getting back our galleries back each time, we laughed and cried the whole way through them. Erika perfectly captured our fun-loving spirits and all the love we have for each other and our beautiful families. If you have any doubts about which photographer to go with, stop what you’re doing now because you need Erika’s creative magic in your life. She was the first vendor we booked before we even had a wedding date, and it’s still the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning journey. I look at the pictures ALL the time in awe, they will never get old. I am nOrmally awkward in pictures but she directed it in a way that made us feel comfortable which ultimately prepared us for the wedding. photographer to snap some shots of our families and friends, both formally and informally, but just six months before, that photographer notified us of an unexpected move, which would keep her from working with us. We had looked at and spoken with a number of photographers in the Milwaukee area that we weren’t completely satisfied with so we were unsure as to what to do. Thankfully we came across Erika’s work on Junebug Weddings, and thankfully she was still available! Immediately upon connecting with her, we recognized Erika’s warmth, professionalism, and passion. Living in New York, it became tricky to find a time to meet in person, but lucky for us, Erika generously drove to Milwaukee to meet with us for a half hour the one weekend we were home to connect and put on a playful engagement shoot. We knew we had made the right decision because she made us feel unbelievably comfortable and kept us continuously laughing. Those shots were beautiful, and so us; a close friend of mine said she had never seen such authentic engagement shots - what a testament to Erika’s work! y vibe that’s popular w wedding pics right now & a colorful light and joyful vibe. I also wanted a candid style that captured moments naturally instead of forced poses BUT I also am such an awkward being and knew I would need some guidance w/ posing as well as some push to do things we wouldn't have done otherwise. Erika was all of those things and more- finding her was a blessing from the Universe 100%. I was already excited about Erika and once we finally met on the big day I realized she was even more amazing than I imagined! She has a perfect personality IMO- not pushy at all, but not afraid to suggest things and tell people what was up. She was so chill yet had really positive energy and a lot of it but again, I want to emphasize she somehow attained this level of energy while remaining perfectly chill. I can’t stress this enough b/c it made SUCH a difference. She took amazing (and really cool) intimate pics of my husband and I that I will cherish for the rest of my life. We never would have imagined we’d be able to get pics of us like that...but with Erika it was easy! Normally neither of us enjoy having our pics taken and are usually eager to get it over with...but with Erika we felt so relaxed and it honestly just felt like we were having fun and enjoying that amazing just married feeling together while our cool friend Erika snapped some pics haha. Never did I think in a million years I’d enjoy the process of taking those pictures so much but the post ceremony photo sesh with my husband and I was one of my favorite parts. Erika was also super flexible and open-minded. She knows how to assess the situation and roll with it-and get some really great pictures out of it! Not only did she do a superb job listening to me pre-wedding, she also did a fantastic job learning about us throughout the day and picked up on things I wouldn’t have thought to convey, then incorporated all that into the way she shot the wedding. For ex, my dog was in my wedding-I am a crazy dog mom. Mia (my pup) started getting nervous once my dress was on b/c a lot was going on and people were fussing around. Erika didn’t mind that I’d stop what I was doing to sit and calm Mia and even got the sweetest pics of my mom and I petting her together. Erika’s creative make-it-work attitude was essential b/c we didn’t stay in a particularly gorgeous airbnb so I was worried her options for the detail shots and of my dress were limited. However, Erika improvised & somehow the setting was not an issue at all. For ex., she asked if she could take my dress and shoot it somewhere cool outside which she did and it is one of my favorite shots. Erika got the finished pictures to me early and I wanted to cry I was so amazed. They are out of this world perfect. My friends & family can’t stop talking about them! Erika is a true gem and I can’t wait to find excuses to use her again in the future. Never thought I’d be one ITCHING to have another photoshoot of any sort but yet here I am, doing just that b/c she is just that cool and talented. My biggest regret was not hiring her for the whole package. Do not make the same mistake I did. Get the biggest package she offers if you can-she’s beyond worth it! <3

It was so hot during our session, my hair and makeup completely melted off, but the pictures still came out so so beautiful. That's not luck. That's Erika. You won't regret it. It’s the small details that stand out, when we did our engagement shoot nestled in at home- I remember telling her “is Miguel’s rubbery G-shock watch not look good on camera, I’d love if I’d gotten him a leather one?” She replied with a question instead, “We’ll does he wear it everyday? That’s him.” We tend to nit pick every detail during our wedding journey- It was so refreshing and empowering to work with someone who only cares about your essence and not what material things are going to make for a better image. This small action led me wanting to share everything even more with her! She gained our trust from the get-go! She was always available, reliable and punctual, even if she was hundreds of miles away from FL. You need and deserve a photographer that takes it as serious as you do! That’s the reason I stand behind that I told her post wedding day- We’d choose you all over again without a shadow of doubt. She’s a lady boss in all means, entrepreneurship at its finest! A mom, a bride herself and a beautiful mind. I admire that she’s takes full ownership of her business and constantly challenges herself to deliver nothing but the best. You can tell she has a lot of experience because she knows exactly how to capture those intimate moments without making it feel awkward. Also, with our engagement pictures, she was so organized that the whole session went so quickly, which was nice since we got them outside in February in Wisconsin. I thought it was impossible for her to capture all my envisioned, pinterest-worthy pictures in such a short amount of time, but the results went above and beyond all expectations. She understood the stresses we were under while planning this thing and never pressured us or got upset about how unpunctual and inefficient we were with her as a result of the stresses placed on us by the wedding process ...and this was huge for us. Talent aside, be sure whoever you choose makes your day easier and more enjoyable. Erika far exceeded our expectations here. Again this should not be underestimated. Alright, now to the fun stuff, the photos are DOPE. Period. We were so happy to find someone of Erika's creative caliber here in South Florida. We did not know Erika when we started out 0n this Journey and had actually reached out to a lot of out-of-state wedding photographers because of their style, or their lack of "Florida wedding photography style" I should say. Because of the condensed timeline we were under all the photographers were booked up and this brought us frantically to the knot to try and find someone local. Pages and pages in, as soon as we saw Erika's thumbnail in the sea of wedding photographers here on the knot we knew she would be the one, and I am not trying to be cute, she was legit the last person we looked at...and I am guessing that is why you are reading this now too, her thumbnail got you, and we can say without the shadow of a doubt that you will get what you saw there and will definitely get what you pay for. r engagement pictures in Costa Rica , since I am from there and my husband (although born and raised in Miami) loves it , for its nature and greenery. She climbed mountains with us to catch the perfect volcano, she went down mountains top catch the most breathtaking waterfall and she did just that, we just couldn't believe how breathtaking the pictures came out. She is so easy to work with because she creates the perfect environment for you and your hubby to be to be just you. We threw a little curve-ball as we decided we didn't want to have a big wedding but to elope in Costa Rica and she worked with us and we thank her so much for putting up with our craziness. I cannot even explain how calm and collected she is when she is taking pictures of your special day, she manages her timeline gracefully and captures every detail. My husband I cannot be happier with her work and the way she capture our special day, her pictures just really show how truly magical our day really was. ft Erika was great in helping us prepare for the wedding day and with what to expect. She was very professional to work with and made us feel very comfortable. On the day of, everything was just as expected and what we previously discussed. Even with our wedding party running a little late, she never made us feel bad or tried rushing us but was still great in helping us stay on track. Being photographed is very uncomfortable for me but she was always encouraging and gave great direction. We had quite a bit of time between the ceremony and reception so Erika took us to 2 different locations to take some portrait photos which we are so glad to have done. We received our photos in about a month and are so happy with the results. I highly recommend Erika for anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

My (now) husband and I had a long distance engagement and the only time we could take our engagement photos happened to be just a few weeks after Erika's baby was born. But no worries at all! We then held another phone call right before the wedding to discuss a detailed (yet flexible!) plan for the day. Erika and her husband were so very sweet and befriended our wedding party/guests right away! We just got married two weeks ago, but have already seen 'sneak peeks' of our photos, and they are GORGEOUS! She is highly affordable, especially considering the quality of the work. We recommend Erika to everyone and can't wait to hire her again for major life events!! :)

e then a wonderful magical memory. I had the pleasure of finding Erika Diaz, she is talented and knows how to capture the perfect moments with natural light (a plus). My husband and I looked for someone that will be gentle and that likes working with natural light. Erika brings her personal assistant to help her with anything and everything you can think of; (from the brides gown- to chasing the flower girl and ring boy to take pictures). Erika comes prepare with all the tools she will need, shes there on time (early) and prepared with a list of what you as the bride and her have previously discussed. The list is for her personal use and to remember all the little details that you want her to not forget because they mean a lot to you. Erika will not only focus on that list but she will get inspired by the surroundings and make magic with them. Her talents speak for themselves but it is always helpful to have the point of view from a bride that has hired her to do a wonderful job. You wont be disappointed.
