Erin Marie Weddings

Working with Erin was a breath of fresh air. There are so many things that go into wedding planning. But Erin to the rescue! My husband and I hired Erin Marie Weddings to be our day-of coordinator so that we had someone to help us formulate a timeline and make the wedding day hassle-free. My sister-in-law told me that a wedding planner (or, at the very least, a day-of coordinator) is a must. Without one, vendors often contact the bride on wedding day if questions or logistic issues arise, and on wedding day, the bride should not have to worry about anything but soaking in those precious moments getting ready and leading up to "I do." Leading up to the wedding, Erin had everything mapped out down to the minute so we did not have to think of logistics for anything. She emailed vendors, coordinated arrival/drop off times, had calls with us as well to touch base and answer any questions that came up for us along the way. She had spreadsheets of music selections, vendor suggestions, spreadsheets for decor items to help us stay organized and also to help us know if there was anything we didn't think of (and let me tell you - there was!), and more. We were so grateful she had thought of it all. I loved having her as our coordinator because I wanted to have a big role in the planning and decision making process, but it was wonderful to know I wasn't alone if I had questions about how things were typically done or how something might be able to fit into our day. We had questionnaires for vendors that we needed to fill out prior to the wedding as it got closer, and they sometimes felt overwhelming. Erin took the time to hop on a call with us and walk us through every question so it didn't feel as stressful anymore. She was so organized all throughout. It was easy to trust that she saw our vision for the day and we knew we were in great hands. We both could tell she really cared as much as us about making our day everything we wanted it to be. More than anything, Erin Marie Weddings made it possible for my husband and I to be nothing but present the whole wedding day. I truly mean it when I say we did not have to worry about a thing. If anything went wrong that day or there were hiccups, I have no knowledge of it because in my eyes everything was perfect and flawless. I think that's what makes a great wedding planner/coordinator - the ability to have a very stressful job and not project any of that stress onto the people around you. Erin and Jessica were doing SO MUCH for us on the wedding day, and I KNOW how much work went into keeping that timeline, setting up tables, instructing vendors, coordinating with vendors, handing out tips and thank you cards, working with our church for the ceremony as well as the reception venue (2 places!), making sure certain people were in the right places for processing down the aisle or ready for speeches, etc. I could go on and on about how impressed we were with them. Everyone was so impressed by not only their professionalism, but their kindness, positive energy, organization, and talent! If you are considering hiring a wedding planner or day-of coordinator for your wedding, I can give Erin Marie Weddings nothing but my highest praises. You will be in excellent caring hands. I'm eternally grateful they were by my side for our wedding day. They made me feel so much more prepared, present, peaceful, and joyous. It was a privilege to share the most special day of our lives with them.
