Kara was an amazing person and was such a welcoming person that was able to answer any and all of my questions about the venue and the wedding day. The venue is absolutely beautiful and I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone. All the staff was absolutely amazing and truly made our wedding day so very special. I would also highly recommend using the wedding planner, Jeanette and elizabeth for the wedding day as they help make the day run so smoothly I could not have done it without all of their help. They had make sure to take care of every little detail throughout the day and the venue truly speaks for itself. Truly cannot imagine a better wedding day.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Experience Oakhaven. From the very first tour with Kara, we knew this was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Kara guided us through every step of the process, making the decision incredibly easy. She was flexible with scheduling, knowledgeable about every detail of the property, and helped us maximize every aspect of our all-inclusive package. Her passion for the venue truly shined and made us feel confident that there was nowhere else we would rather celebrate such a special occasion.
One of our top priorities was finding a venue that could comfortably accommodate our out-of-town guests and family, and Oakhaven exceeded every expectation with its exceptional on-site lodging options. Another major highlight was the variety of ceremony locations. Each site offered breathtaking views, and the availability of both indoor and outdoor options gave us complete peace of mind when it came to weather planning. We chose the signature Oak Tree ceremony site, and it created the most stunning backdrop for our photos.
And the décor room deserves a special mention! It was beautifully organized and stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. The selection was incredible and made the decorating process seamless and stress-free.

They were always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and ensure every detail was thoughtfully handled. During our wedding weekend, we barely had to lift a finger, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment and be fully present with our family and friends. Jeanette and Elizabeth brought our vision to life with professionalism, grace, and genuine care. They made us feel like family, and they truly are the heart of this venue.
The all-inclusive package also gave us access to scheduled tastings, planning meetings, and a preferred vendor list that was truly top-tier. Every vendor was familiar with the venue and worked together flawlessly to create an unforgettable weekend.
The entire Oakhaven team was kind, professional, and incredible to work with from start to finish. The property itself is stunning—peaceful nature views, charming barn vibes, and a minimalistic yet elegant aesthetic that fit my vision perfectly. One of the biggest blessings was being able to keep my entire family together across the property for the whole weekend. It made everything feel intimate, relaxed, and unforgettable.
A special shoutout to Jeannette, our Wedding Day Lady. She was the BEST—so kind, so accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Her presence alone eased so much stress and allowed us to fully enjoy every moment.

The staff were exceptional. From the Houses to the farm to the venue iit was a magical place to have our daighters and son in loves wedding. I would recommend Oak Haven for any occasion.

We reached out to Oak Haven Properties last November when we got engaged and started the process. Met with Kara looked at the several different packages they had and toured all the...
different things that came with the venues. To say we fell in love with this venue and how professional they were would be an understatement. We went with the all inclusive package that included, DJ, Catering, Decor Room, Bakery, 4 houses (which is nice for grandparents, wedding party, or for out of town guest) and the sweetest/BEST coordinator, Jeanette, and her Daughter Elizabeth. We came and met with them this past year and told them exactly what we wanted/how we wanted it and they were right on the spot. After a year of planning we got married December 6, 2025. It went so smoothly and perfect. We never had to lift a finger the weekend we were there. They made everything happen without us even knowing. The staff there is amazing. I know i will not be able to remember everyone’s names but Bob set everything up the day before and we went to make sure it was good with us and it was perfect. The day of the wedding it went smoothly because of their staff. We stayed in the honeymoon cottage the night after and they had left us a sweet note, Dr Pepper (our favorite) and breakfast for Sunday when we left. If i had to go back in time i would choose Oak Haven over again and again. We could not be more blessed to have had them to go through this process! If you’re looking for a venue that is STRESS-FREE make sure you choose Oak Haven and The in house Wedding Coordinator Jeanette & Elizabeth!!

Our wedding day ran flawlessly and completely stress-free. Every detail was handled exactly as promised—and then exceeded. I genuinely cannot think of a single thing that could have made the day better. Our wedding coordinator The Wedding Day Lady (Jeanette and Elizabeth) was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, and we felt fully confident placing the day in her hands. We are so grateful we did.
The venue itself is magical, but it’s the people who make it extraordinary. We’ve already recommended Experience Oakhaven to others, and guests are still telling us not only how beautiful the setting was, but how smoothly and gracefully the entire day flowed.

e toured Oakhaven, we received truly exceptional care—anticipating our needs before we could even voice them and consistently going above and beyond to make us feel like family. Their warmth and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.
The venue itself is breathtaking, with beautifully landscaped grounds that offered countless photo opportunities. The multiple houses surrounding the venue allowed us more than enough room to have all our friends and family on site while having private space when needed.
The Manor house and Cabin gave us peace of mind and allowed everyone in the wedding party to get ready in comfort. The elegant indoor spaces provided a warm and inviting setting for our celebration, and our guests were consistently impressed by both the ambiance and the attention to detail throughout the facilities. The best part, you never have to worry about sharing your weekend with any other party.
The barn is updated and they recent addition added more room for us to comfortably fit all our guests, while having plenty of room to dance. One highlight was the accessory room, thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to create unique details and added touches which saved us hundreds.
One particularly unforgettable touch was the Model-T car available for our use. Taking photos with this classic car added a unique, vintage charm to our day, and the ride made us feel like stepping back in time. This thoughtful amenity was a guest favorite and made our celebration even more memorable.
Jeanette, Elizabeth, Bob, Jaden, and Gary remained outstanding—professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. They worked closely with us during planning, offering helpful suggestions and listening to our ideas. Jeanette and Elizabeth saved our big day when we had issues with one of our vendors by finding a last-minute replacement. They also added little touches to the itinerary simply because they knew it would make me smile. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly thanks to their expertise and unwavering support.
Overall, our wedding exceeded all our dreams, thanks in large part to this incredible venue and its remarkable team. Patience (owner) and the staff pour their heart into making Oakhaven a one of a kind venue. It shows in every way. They have so many nods to the past while incorporating modern amenities. We enthusiastically recommend it to any couple seeking a beautiful location, outstanding staff and amenities, and a truly unforgettable event.

perty made the experience incredibly convenient and enjoyable. Many of our family and friends who lived out of state were able to stay in the Manor House, Bungalow and Groomscabin.
Each house offered ample rooms and an impressive selection of china, which we greatly appreciated.
The staff was consistently helpful and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed—including firewood for the pizza oven during our rehearsal dinner. Our wedding planner, Jeanette, was always readily available and responsive to any question we had throughout the process. She and her team expertly handled all the coordination and planning, allowing us to enjoy a truly stress-free wedding week.

l! The barn itself was breathtaking, the landscaping while driving through the yards are so well kept up, and the housing is wonderful. They really do take pride in their work. They also have a decor room, that you can use ANYTHING out of. It was such a huge help! We couldn’t imagine getting married elsewhere. We 100% made the right decision by booking with Oakhaven. Also, if anyone is needing a wedding planner Jeanette is on top of things! Her and her girls are the best! We had so many compliments on the timeline, the ceremony details that they handled, and the organization of everything! It was truly my dream wedding. cross. Even the barn is beautiful- inside and out. It makes wedding planning/decoration easy when your venue is this gorgeous. Oakhaven even has a decoration room (which I highly recommend). The variety is endless. I was thankful that I didn’t have to stress about so many decorations, because they had EVERYTHING. They have places on site that you or family can stay at. I also recommend utilizing those. It made things so much easier to be able to stay on site on the weekend of the wedding
The staff was amazing. When we toured, Carol was our tour guide, and she was such a special touch to our tour of Oakhaven, so much so, we toured a second time after we booked! Our wedding coordinator, Jeanette, made our lives so much easier while planning. She kept us on the right track while planning, and made the wedding day go by SO SO smooth. Even my husband made a comment about how he couldn’t imagine how our wedding would’ve gone without Jeanette. Another shoutout to Kailey, and all other Oakhaven staff for working so hard to help make my wedding day perfect, and exactly how I wanted it. I’ve said time and time again that my wedding day was perfect, and it couldn’t have been that way without the staff (and of course my vendors)
I will always and forever be an Oakhaven fan. All the time, effort, and money was 100% worth to have the perfect wedding at Oakhaven.

We selected the fire pit area for our welcome event and it was a huge hit. The Oakhaven team was there at ever turn for anything we needed or had questions on! I recommend Oakhaven to anyone looking for the wedding of their dreams. Thank you for being such a huge part of our future! Jeanette even baked a little breakfast loaf for my husband I to have the morning after our wedding. I would highly recommend if you book with Oakhaven book all the houses for the whole weekend if it’s in your budget. Our bridal party and close family stayed on the premises the whole weekend and had such a great time! Even had a little after party at the fire pit after the reception. When we went to the Oakhaven staff with our vision they gave us the freedom to execute it fully and we’re so grateful for all the vendors that made it all come together! Special thanks to Jeanette & Gary! They’re the best! They were incredibly accommodating throughout the wedding process, always making themselves available on the random days we wanted to stop by the venue to see something or show family around. In terms of value, I don’t think you can find a better venue across the Carolinas or Virginia. Trust us, we looked! For our wedding weekend we booked the manor house, the honeymoon cottage, the bungalow, and the cabin which allowed our bridal party of 18 along with our immediate families to stay on the property with us all weekend long, which was incredible. The venue also has a decor room which is included when you book the manor house which has tons of stuff to make decorating the space easy! Jeanette and Gary were such a dream to work with, from the initial meeting to the wedding day, they were excellent and made sure everything went perfectly. The on site accommodations were the perfect addition for all our close friends and family and we even enjoyed the newly added honeymoon cabin that was so incredibly perfect. Our wedding day was perfect, a day we’ll always remember and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better venue!

The venue is immaculate and the owner hand picks every detail. There are several ceremony locations and you really can't choose wrong!
It rained on our wedding day but Mrs. Jeanette and her employees seamlessly moved the wedding into the barn and it was still beautiful!
Highly recommend stay at such a beautiful location that offers just an amazing for price for the bargain!

They do provide a list of suggested vendors and allow for you to find your own as long as they are approved and have the proper liability insurance. We rented the manor house and cabin as well which made it possible for our bridal party to remain on the grounds following rehearsal and the reception.

I swear I got lost twice because it's so big and has so many rooms. Our favorite place to sit was the sun room. Jeanette is my girl, she's the coordinator. My whole Cuban family stayed at the house for the wedding weekend and we even used Gary’s additional services to make breakfast for everyone at the house the morning of the wedding. My family couldn’t get enough of Gary, even saying they wanted to come back next year for thanksgiving at the Oakhaven house. I used Jeanette as my wedding coordinator and she made everything so easy for me with all of her recommendations. She was a great resource for advice on things she had seen work and not work when it comes to planning an amazing event. Oakhaven is such a beautiful venue and I can’t even imagine my wedding having been anywhere else.

Southern American/Puerto Rican wedding a reality. Instead, we were bullied into using their specified vendors and when we questioned them we received attitude and ignored phone calls and emails. The final straw came when Oakhaven's wedding planner, Jeanette Wagoner, tried to force us to use her DJ despite us saying over and over again we wanted Latino music and would find our own DJ. We called Oakhaven and reported Jeanette's bullying behaviors. Gary promised to fix this situation. Instead, five days later we received an email saying our event was CANCELLED. We don't know if they're racist or just extremely unprofessional. It appears they are both.
