Speechless and breathtaking views were the comments we heard all night from our guests. The waitstaff were so sweet, came up to my husband and I all night congratulating us on our marriage. Taylor was such a joy to work with. The ceremony definitely would not have gone as smoothly if it was not for her directions during rehearsal. She was so flexible, helped devise our timeline for the reception, directed her kitchen staff for dinner, and done many more for us. I highly recommend Friendly Hills for hosting events.

I had my wedding here last month and I was very excited about it. Its a beautiful place. When we started this process we had spoke with Jessica. Unfortunately she no longer works there. Nicole took over for Jessica. We first had to change our date due to construction which wasn’t a big deal. Everything seemed to be going amazing until we got to the end. We had paid our bill before the last due date. We got an email stating we needed to pay. When we followed up we were told that we were correct we didn’t owe anything.(The vendor is claiming that this did not happen and was not in the email chain they sent over. Do you have documentation that this happened and are able to share?) Then we find out since it might rain if we needed a tent this would be 1300. This was told to us 4 days before the wedding. We had asked regarding this before signing a contact and was told nothing about it costing. We also get told less then a week before the wedding that construction isn’t done. I had to email twice before they figured out to get heat lamps placed outside for my guests. During the event Nicole was supposed to help coordinate and I couldn’t find her at all when I was looking as there was a problem with our drink tickets. I would not recommend this place for a wedding. I am very disappointed with the end experience. I have had to repost this as friendly hills apparently states they never told me I owed money when I didn’t. Was informed I needed proof. I am very glad I keep my emails.

I recently got married at Friendly Hills Country Club and Nicole is amazing. I came in from out of state and the entire wedding planning was so easy because of her. She was even more amazing the day of! The venue itself was beautiful! I would highly recommend FHCC and Nicole

I would definitely recommend Friendly Hills Country Club! They made the experience very stress free and were helpful not only on the day of my wedding but throughout the entire process. Taylor, the coordinator, made us feel comfortable and worked with us to make our vision come true. Beautiful scenery, helpful staff, and very affordable. This place is great!

On May 19th, we held our wedding ceremony and reception at Friendly Hills. From our first meeting with Taylor, we felt very confident we were in good hands. The entire process was seamless and well coordinated. The ceremony on the terrace, cocktail hour, followed by dinner and reception flowed perfectly. Both guests and Vendors were impress by the venue, quality and service we received. Hats Off to the entire Friendly Hills Staff for making our day special

I couldn't think of a better place to be married then this venue. I got a lot of feedback from people that they love the place, and the food. Also their services are amazing. From the servers to the caterers they provide everything was just perfect . Britney and Lisa are such a sweetheart and amazing people to work with for your special day that's for sure!

It all started out great with Brittany! Met person onsite. Great rapport. Then, after booking, Brittany ended up leaving FHCC. Overall, it was a struggle to ensure everything was met with the new contact. We had to renegotiate all items on the contract. If we had to do it over again, we'd still do it there, but would definitely want to work with Taylor. She was our saving grace and without her, we'd have had even worse of a time. For food - amazing For drinks - amazing For wait staff - amazing For tables, chairs, etc - amazing For setup - 4 stars as they could have been setup sooner and things went missing at the last minute but were found even after exhaustive planning. For venue contacts - 2.5 stars as they really need to work on this

We did not ultimately choose to go with this venue, but it was definitely our second choice if our top choice venue didn't work out. The only reason we didn't go with Friendly Hills was we found another venue with an oceanview whereas Friendly Hills is more inland. That said, we loved the facility as the ceremony has a beautiful backdrop of the golf course. Christine Bobadilla was also very easy to work with in terms of budgets, and she was very responsive to our emails/calls. We would definitely recommend this venue for anyone wanting a budget-friendly but still very beautiful venue.

Friendly Hills Country Club is an amazing country club location in Southern California. The ceremony and reception location looks into a small valley so that all you see is green golf course year round. The catering director is extremely responsive and helpful. Well worth the little bit extra in cost for a stress free and beautiful wedding.
