Gigi's Closette

This place is terrible. I was charged over $100 in extra "fees" based on their measurements, which were completely inaccurate. They told me I needed a plus-size gown (+$45) with extra length (+$20), and extra fabric (+$40), and when the dress came in it was about 8 sizes too big and I was tripping over it just walking out of the dressing room. After all of that, they refused to do the alterations, saying that they had too much work to do already, so I had to go find a competent seamstress and pay her another $100 to fix the dress they overcharged me for. I wound up just throwing away the extra fabric they insisted that I needed. They also only carry one sample size, so if you exceed a size 6, forget about trying your dress on.

I love Gigi's Closette! Gigi and her staff have a way of making everyone feel special. They have a huge selection of wedding gowns at a variety of price points, making the shopping for a wedding dress experience fun and easy. I lost count of how many dresses I tried on, and when I narrowed it down to two dresses, they were very patient and I never once felt rushed or pressured. The seamstress did a wonderful job on alterations and was wonderful to work with. At my final fitting shortly before the wedding, I got hugs and well wishes from the staff. The whole experience with Gigi's Closette was really special and I would recommend them to any bride.

Gigi's Closette is a bit of a drive from where I am from but so worth it! My grandma has taken me there since I was little! Gigi is always pleasant and there to greet you when you come in! I found the dress of my dreams and they were able to alter it to my vision!

Gigi's is small, but has a large stock of bridal and bridesmaids dresses. The ladies that work there are attentive and you don't need an appointment. The saleswoman I worked with me to find the perfect dress within my price range. Not only did we talk through what I was looking for, but I was also able to browse the selection. They were never pushy and made sure that I felt taken care of. The alterations department did an amazing job and the dress was absolutely perfect!

Every bride should feel like a princess on their wedding day. I found my perfect dress at Gigi's. I had a short timeframe to order it and get it altered as my wedding was only 2 months away. Gigi was able to get it in time and form fitted it to me and even made princess cuffs over my shoulder at a reasonable price. They have dresses for all price points and don't try to oversell you. The end result was amazing!

Gigi's Closette has the most amazing selection of bridal dresses, don't let the size of the shop fool you. The staff there has the perfect talent of finding exactly what you are looking for, in the most flattering way. Gigi was involved throughout the entire process and clearly loves what she does, she is wonderful. She even helped me find the perfect foundations for under my dress by calling a friend at a lingerie shop. My mom found her dress there as well, there's an amazing selection of formal/cocktail dresses. The alteration team was fantastic and my dress fit perfectly. She is my number one recommendation for dresses!

Everyone at Gigi's was super helpful to me and never made me feel forced to buy. Magdalena helped me try on what felt like a fifty dresses on multiple occasions while I was deciding on my perfect dress (she is wonderful)! Once I bought the dress, everyone there is very sweet, helpful, and genuinely excited for you about your big day. This is a really great place!

I found my dress at Gigi's Closette. The staff at Gigi's is so accommodating and helpful. You don't need an appointment to try on dresses, which is so convenient and stress-free! The seamstress is amazing and so sweet. I would highly recommend Gigi's for wedding dresses.

I found a dress that I liked at a different shop, but had a horrible shopping experience so looked up what other shops carried that dress. I ended up with a similar dress from Gigi's. When I was shopping and told them my budget they stuck to that and wouldn't bring any dresses over it which was nice. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the price of alterations are never given, not even an estimate so it was very hard to budget. They ended up being more than I expected which was fine, but a little disheartening not to know what to expect.

I went to Gigi's with my mother to find her gown for my wedding. We were thrilled when she found a gown we both really loved. However the service was beyond horrible! The lady was unbelieveably rude!! She only wanted to put my mom in one dress and we wanted to see other options. We ended up not buying the dress we both loved because of how rude the sales lady was with us. Their selection is really only so-so. I'm still mad that my mom didn't get the dress that we both loved but I refuse to give someone business that clearly doesn't deserve it. Don't waste your time!

I bought my dress from Gigi's for a very reasonable price. The woman who did the alterations is amazing!! She did such a wonderful job and the dress looked amazing. The only downfall is the place is too small and some of the sales women are not helpful. My appointments were always late and took long waiting for a dressing room. I loved my dress but they need to work on their service.

I shopped here two times to try on dresses. Both times we pretty much had the room to ourselves. The consultant was very accommodating with us. She saw some of the dresses we had picked out and then brought us similar ones in my budget. After the second time back, a dress was chosen. My dress arrived in plenty of time before the wedding. I had to try many different bras and bustiers to look right under the dress, but just keep the tags on and return those that don't work! It took about 3 fittings to get everything right. They fit the top of the dress at the 1st fitting, the length at the 2nd fitting and the bustle at the 3rd fitting. At each fitting some of the items previously fitted were adjusted a little bit more for maximum fit. My dress was strapless with a sweetheart neckline, so I didn't want to worry about pulling it up all night. Because of the all the effort that went into each fitting, the dress fit so well. I didn't have to pull it up all night and I loved it. She also did beautiful work on the bustle. I didn't mind so much to put my dress up because it just flowed so smoothly when it was put up. I was just very pleased on the attention paid and the detailed work done all the way through the process. Beautiful dress and great work!

As an older bride, I did not want some big fuss with the entire team watching every dress I tried on. At Gigi's, you pick and try on your own dress - with help if you need it. Lots of designers - prices from $100 to $10,000. Service is a little rushed and not too personal, but at the end of the day - they are professional and did everything they promised.

The helpful and experienced sales lady brought out dress style I described immediately, gave me undivided attention. Tried on only 2 dresses, which could be made in ivory, then wanted to shop around. Returned and tried on 2 similar dresses and friend and I knew that was it. I wanted ivory,strapless, floor length gown that hung softly w definite waistline. My choice had rouching top to hips that accented my figure and was lovely. Everyone raved how elegant it was. I had a white wrap from von Maur that matched beautifully to cover shoulders for the Church. Had 3 fittings for the hem length.

We have used them before and this time I felt like a was very rushed. They kept trying to sell me on a color for my bridesmaids dresses that I didn't want. They also were somewhat rude to me and my bridesmaids.

I had bought a bridemaid dress here previously and many of my friends had used them for their wedding dress and have nothing but good things to say. Its very small but they have alot of the same dresses and house of brides but for alot less. I found my perfect wedding dress here, after trying on about 12 dresses. They have a great selection. And the service was excellent. Everyone always pleasant, and willing to help, and not pushy. They also helped my mom pick out the perfect dress. Would definitely recommend.

My experience at Gigi's was a delightful one. Magdelina knew exactly what I wanted and found my wedding gown and all six of my bridemaids dresses in an hour tops. All of the women there are very nice and helpful. A bit pricey for alterations, but they have a ton of dresses to choose from. If I had another formal event I would go there for my dress.

Gigi's is a great place to start the wedding dress finding process because they let you look at all the gowns, rather than holding you hostage in the fitting room and only bringing you a few dresses at a time. You can choose any and all dresses that you want to try, and they really encourage trying things you might not thought you would like, just to see how it looks when it's on. It is not a glamorous experience (no champagne, etc.) but it's a good place to begin the hunt. The only other issue is that they will not tell you who makes your dress, or its style number, until after you buy it, so it's hard to comparison shop. They do have dresses in all price ranges (from samples under $200 to racks of dresses above my price point, which we didn't even bother looking at) and about half the dresses in the store are under $1000.

Rude salespeople. Good dresses but wasn't worth it to me.
