We have been designing beautiful flowers for 15 years and counting. Our design sense conveys natural movement and organic style while showcasing both our artistry and the beauty of flowers and foliage. We love working with unique blooms, from lady slipper orchids and tropical leaves to lush peonies, ranunculus, soft dahlias or fragrant garden roses. We select fresh and high quality flowers and prefer seasonal, local grown and organically grown when possible, which not only look their best due to their proximity, but are even more beautiful because they are the best choice for the environment. We take great care in all our design and business practices to be as earth friendly as possible and are a green certified business. “Gorgeous and Green is a dream come true, one of eco-friendly thoughts and creative wishes. We make gorgeous things, and the local community and the environment is carefully swaddled into those creations. It feels right.” For budgets $7500 and above: Our full service option. This includes one on one meeting(s), discussions about style, color and flower particulars, email communication, delivery, setup, signed contracts and a personalized design plan that takes into account what is available locally and in season and the look you are trying to achieve. A little bit about our practices: ~We love beautiful things and showcasing the gorgeous offerings of each season. ~We are a green certified business, Slow Flowers Member (Pilar has even spoken at a Slow Flowers Summit about her work and business) and we are an Ambassador of the Sustainable Floristry Network. ~We use locally grown flowers and goods as often as possible, and stick to seasonality and low carbon output. ~Our designs are not often minimalist, but more often maximalist, we love abundance and color when our clients request it. ~We have never used floral foam and use natural alternative mechanics instead. (Floral Foam is a micro plastic and also has chemicals that may be hazardous to the health of people and animals) ~We don't use dyes, spray paints or other chemicals on our flowers. ~We run our studio off solar and carbon offset our vehicles (that aren't electric) ~We take great care in reducing our waste, reuse materials, recycle and compost and we even collect all our rubber bands and twist ties from our purchased flowers and give them back to farmers to reuse. ~We're well acquainted with local venues and planners, and have done hundreds of weddings over the years!
