We enjoyed everything about our wedding here! The planning, the execution, the food, desserts, recommendations - all perfect. I never expected the day to exceed my expectations but it did in every way. Everyone was amazing before, during, and after the ceremony. The event planner and chef were efficient, kind, and professional. I knew I did not have to worry about any thing on the big day. Also, the food was amazing. I could have eaten my weight in the appetizers alone. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole experience/package of services.

We held a reception at the GLSC on a summer evening in July and Teri (GLSC event coordinator) and Lindsey (Levy Catering coordinator) were extremely helpful and awesome for the several months leading up to the event. Teri met with us in person ~4 times in the year leading up to the event and was always available by phone and email with any question that came up. Planning felt easy and fluid. On the catering front, at first we were worried about the exclusive catering that comes with the venue because we wanted a highly customized mainly-plant based/vegan menu. Lindsey, Chef, and the staff helped us craft and customize a primarily plant-based menu over several phone calls and an incredible tasting. They accommodated our many requests and the final menu turned out great - we had an entirely vegan cocktail hour and 3 desserts, 1 vegan entree to choose from (in addition to a chicken and beef dish), and even a customized vegan pasta as a children's dish. We were very pleased with the final outcome and very appreciative to Levy given their patience and attentiveness and extreme professionalism throughout the whole process. Guests LOVED the GLSC as a reception venue. The ability to have the cocktail hour on an exhibit floor was very unique and appreciated by guests (and children!) and the promenade where dinner/dancing happened was spread out enough that guests could go to different areas and have conversations without screaming over deafening music. We found outside decorating and DJ/up-lighting services which Teri and the GLSC worked with seamlessly to coordinate, meaning we did not need any additional wedding planner for the evening. We had a wonderful event and highly recommend this venue and team!

WARNING! DO NOT HOLD AN EVENT HERE THAT REQUIRES USE OF LEVY RESTAURANT CATERING!!!! Just finished our daughters wedding reception here. The venue, especially at night, is aweso...

me and beautiful, but the food, catered by LEVY RESTAURANT GROUP, was an utter and absolute disaster. Now, before you think to yourself, perhaps I didn't spend enough, NOPE, the total price tag for the event was in excess of 6 figures, well in excess. I fought with them to get the best wines, we provided the most awesome cocktail and after dinner musicians, the best floral arrangements etc etc, but the food was an embarrassment to us, the parents of the bride, and for Levy. I watched in horror as my table guests struggled to cut (literally struggled) their steaks, and my 84 year old mother in law, nearly broke a denture on the chicken. My kids shared with me pictures of guests at their tables literally dipping their steak into red wine as it was so dry (Chateau-du-Pape none-the-less!). We were concerned about the food after going through the tasting, and I even talked to the head chef at Levy who assured me all would be well (after struggling mightily to get the wines we wanted), and who said he would personally be there to oversee the event. Well, the food was a disaster, cold as it was served, cut like leather, and tasteless. The overall event though was spectacular, and we will not let the awful level of the food overshadow the event, as it was far more meaningful and blessed than the caterers, Levy Restaurant Group's disastrous meal.

licious, the dance floor was large, and the staff was incredibly efficient and communicative. Our cocktail hour was even in an interactive exhibit! We loved this venue and could not imagine hosting our special day anywhere else. 5 stars!!!

This venue was absolutely perfect and Kristy was so great to work with! They recently renovated the reception area to remove the escalator which was perfect timing for our wedding...

and really opened up the space. Levy catering, their new caterer, is amazing as well and all of my guests raved about the food! This is a really unique space for a modern wedding and I am so happy we got to celebrate our marriage here.

Venue was BEAUTIFUL! Used the first floor outdoor patio and it was very simple yet stunning for photos and as a backdrop. Plenty of parking ... though guests have to pay to park (u...

nless you cover their cost) ... easily accessible in downtown cleveland and close to other Venues if you choose to have your reception elsewhere. We had our ceremony here and it was beautiful!!! A little windy :/ but worth it! Plenty of perfect photo ops right outside the science center or on the decks. Staff was very helpful in setting up and organizing guests/bridal parties. Wedding coordinator could be friendlier ... often seemed to be strictly business and though she was always helpful, seemed to be put off at times making you hesitate with questions/comments/concerns. Price we felt was very affordable and like I said... no decorations are really needed. They provide chairs and other basic, essentially items but there's really not much more you need. Would definitely recommend this venue to other cleveland brides!

n under 5 months. It was very reasonably priced. You have to use Aramark to cater and for all alcohol, but can bring in your own cake. Thankfully nothing went wrong with any of my other vendors, but we were assured that if anything did go wrong, they had a list of people they would be able to call on last minute. They recommended our DJ and we were super happy with that company. I do recommend having some sort of uplighting done--our DJ took care of this--because the reception area could look stark and utilitarian without it. The leave the escalator on during the reception--something we were initially worried about--but our guests had a blast riding up and down as they danced the night away!
