o the final phone call and everything in between leading up to the wedding. She was very responsive with emails and gave great suggestions when I was unsure what would work best for our day. I sent her some of my favorite inspo pics from Pinterest, and my bouquet turned out a TON better than I ever could have imagined! It's been a week and I am still hearing compliments on how gorgeous the florals were and how they added the perfect pop of color to our day. We rented the gold circle backdrop from them for our ceremony and it was decorated so beautifully, and then was brought inside to be behind my husband and I for dinner at the head table. I am still obsessing over my bouquet and cannot wait to get the rest of our photos back because of how beautiful they were. I would recommend Hedonia a million times over.

I never felt like I was being pushed to add anything or to max out the upper limit of our budget, and Alexis made it incredibly comfortable to keep the conversation open until we settled on a final proposal. I mostly wanted florals to add color to the more neutral reception space, and Alexis helped to put together a combination of centerpieces and a beautiful sweetheart table hedge that made the space vibrant and stunning. She also came to our venue walkthrough which was so appreciated, and suggested repurposing at the end of the aisles during the ceremony, which ended up being a great decision. t minute with our chuppah when our original plan fell through and provided an easy and affordable solution to our wedding week mishap. They worked with us to make our DIY centerpieces perfect - thoughtfully laying them out and being willing to work with our vision. Hedonia was an integral part to making our wedding day a beautiful one (even in a deluge) - thank you. Their pricing is also very reasonable, with no minimum which was important to us, and with a student discount!

We only knew that we didn’t want anything too showy or complicated, and that we didn’t want to spend an outrageous amount. Hedonia’s transparent pricing was so helpful for getting a better idea of what choices we could make with our budget. We worked with Alexis to put together a proposal; she was so kind and advised us through picking out a color palette to match our venue and the vibe we were going for and making decisions about what we wanted for arrangements. We ended up going for small arrangements and bud vases in jewel tones interspersed with votives, keeping everything low key but bright and fun. Just as we were working on finalizing everything about a month before our wedding, our venue added an installation for creating hanging arrangements above the bar; Alexis was happy to accommodate our request to add a hanging arrangement and came up with some great ideas based just on a few Pinterest photos of what we thought we wanted. When it came to the day-of, we were absolutely blown away by what they had created when left to their own devices with almost no instruction from us. Everything was stunning and exactly fit the bright, fun vibe that we were going for. For people who had never really cared or thought much about flowers, the floral arrangements, especially the hanging installation above the bar, ended up being one of our favorite parts. The day of delivery was seamless and the arrangements lasted another couple of days after the wedding, even after all that they had been through!

1) I was clear about my desire for the bridal bouquet to have a good amount of greenery and be lush and textured. The bouquet I actually received was quite pretty but did not have the amount of green texture that I had envisioned. 2) I received a text from the hotel telling me that our bouquets were delivered to the front desk. This was a shock to me. I had expected someone from Hedonia to contact me or my mother in law (they requested a secondary contact) but no one did. I mean, what's the point in asking for a secondary contact if you plan to contact exactly no one on the wedding day? 3) Something seems to have been a bit off with getting the arch floral arranged. There were working on setting up the ceremony space until like 2 minutes before the ceremony was to begin. As a result our guests were standing outside the room until approximately 4:58. The ceremony floral did look super great in the end! Now info on the things I liked about working with Hedonia. The initial phone call and the process of emailing back and forth hashing out the proposal was good. This is one of a few florists I contacted that were also able to provide a circular "moongate" arch which was very important to me. So if that is part of your wedding vision you may want to work with Hedonia. I loved how transparent Christen was about ways to save money and repurpose ceremony flowers at the reception (this was easy for us as everything was at the same venue and on the same floor). On the actual wedding day the color palette was great. I was super impressed with the flowers on the arch, they were better than I imagined! The table centerpieces were also better than I expected! I wanted geometric glass pieces with flowers in them, and Hedonia provided them all in different shapes and they were beautiful. Overall a great experience and they provided beautiful flowers. Even with some things to maybe improve upon, I would recommend them to my friends and family.

I love that Christen wanted a mood-board for the event and she was able to run with it and create my dream proposal. I feel so lucky that my vision was able to come to life in a cost-effective way. From day one, Christen was incredibly kind and responsive. She sketched up designs when I couldn't articulate or find what I was looking for (which made for a stunning chuppah), she checked in often, and she was transparent every step of the way. I fully teared up when I arrived at the venue on the day of the wedding because the team absolutely blew my mind. I wish I could work with her all over again.

I found their pricing to be reasonable for the Chicago market and the value for money incredible considering the beautiful flowers they are able to source. - Christen and her team are a dream to work with. Communication was easy and Christen offered helpful suggestions and refined my vision into a clear, executable plan. We took an opportunity to meet her in her studio and get a sample arrangement, and she was LOVELY in person. The care they put into the work clearly shows and it made us comfortable and relaxed putting our wedding in Hedonia’s hands!! - The day of execution… it was beyond my wildest dreams!! When it comes to flowers, I tried to keep my expectations reasonable … between weather and the supply chain, you can never really guarantee how your flowers are going to turn out… but when my personal flowers arrived I nearly cried with joy! Christen and her team executed perfectly and even secured some of the most beautiful peonies for my late June wedding (which I convinced myself would be a long shot). When we got to the venue, I was blown away at how the team arranged the beautiful ceremony and reception flowers. From the table flowers and candles to the flower accents on the escort display, Hedonia went above and beyond to make the space beautiful and better than I could have imagined.
