High Energy Mobile DJS

Scott (the company's owner) was very responsive and answered all of our questions thoroughly and quickly. Craig was our DJ for our wedding and he was AMAZING, and everything with the wedding went so well! Our ceremony was supposed to be outside but it was raining & storming all day so last minute, we decided to move the ceremony into the reception tent. While the weather certainly did change some plans last minute, Craig adapted as if we had planned for this all along. When I showed up to the venue, Craig was already there and set up, and already had the microphone ready to go for the ceremony. He checked in a few times with us to make sure he knew the cues of when to start/stop certain music, and it was perfect! At one point, it was pouring rain sideways and getting into the tent seams, but Craig was prepared with some plastic sheets to cover the equipment, and nobody even noticed what was going on until we looked over - a true professional! The sound levels, speakers, music choices, and lights were all spectacular and exactly what we wanted. Craig played all our must-plays, respected our do-not-plays, and kept the good vibes going! We even had a few niche songs on our must-plays list, but Craig downloaded them ahead of time to make sure we had everything. He also did an amazing job emceeing everything, he made a couple funny jokes where it was appropriate, and he was very flexible when a few extra people decided to give speeches (that we had no clue about). We couldn't have picked a better wedding DJ and we will certainly be recommending High Energy DJ's to our friends & family for their upcoming events.

My husband and I had our wedding last week and if there’s one thing we could change, it would’ve been our DJ service. Communication up until the wedding was good, and we were confident heading into the day that everything would run smoothly. The only thing that made us nervous beforehand was the phone call the week before to discuss the schedule of the day and song choices. During this call, there were a few comments made that felt pretty judgmental of our song choices. We also had all of our guests give song requests when they rsvp’d, so it was important to me that these were played throughout the night. However, the dj said “there will be songs that will probably clear the dance floor. Let the DJ use his professional experience in deciding which ones to play”. We explained to him though that we’d want these songs played during dinner and dessert, not just on the dance floor. We also told him that only some of our guests would enjoy the dance floor anyway. Come the wedding day, I met the dj exactly three minutes before I was supposed to be walking down the aisle when he said that my songs weren’t able to be played. One was a meaningful Christian song for when we did a “cord of three strands” braiding and had our parents pray over us, and he followed up with the excuse that “sorry, Scott (the owner) isn’t very religious”. He asked for a backup song to play, and then couldn’t even play that song. Instead, he played an instrumental song that was very upbeat and dramatic, which didn’t fit that sentimental moment whatsoever. He also couldn’t play our favorite country song as we exited the ceremony together. I’m so thankful we had my someone playing the piano while I walked down the aisle, otherwise I’m sure that song wouldn’t have been correct either. Thankfully as the bride and groom, you’re distracted enough to not let these issues ruin the day. However, we were repeatedly bothered throughout our reception. Once again, we expected that he would follow the detailed schedule we created together the week prior. Every 15-20 minutes we would be interrupted with questions about what to do next and the order of events. We will give him some credit though- when we instructed him to do something, he did a great job of following through and interacting with the crowd. He dismissed each table for food which was unexpected and appreciated, and he was very friendly. We also appreciated that after the ceremony, Scott showed up to apologize and explain to us that apparently there was an error with their system while trying to play our songs. I just don’t get how this happens, however, when our songs are very popular and can easily be found on all music platforms. One last thing that also really disappointed us was when the dj made a brief comment about our dry wedding to my dad, and told him that the first thing he was gonna go do after the wedding was get a drink. This is extremely unprofessional and we once again felt judged for our wedding decisions.

Craig was awesome. We got a lot of compliments about how fun he kept it and that the music was good. He was very pleasant and even busted out a couple of dance moves.

Scott, the owner, was my main contact up until our wedding day. He was professional, answered all my questions and I like the ability to send electronic payments. Ethan was our DJ for the night and I cannot speak highly enough of him. He was prompt, kept us in the loop with absolutely everything. He kept our night on track and helped move things along efficiently. They played the typical songs you would hear at a wedding, but were also able to play songs that would not normally be in a typical playlist. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ!

Our DJ, Tyler, was fantastic! He was so easy to work with day of, and he was flexible with last minute choices. Also, my guests told me he was one of the best DJs they have seen. And Scott was also great to work with in the beginning. Thank you!

We hired High Energy Mobile DJ's for our backyard wedding and our DJ Wes was phenomenal! He arrived early, set up the microphone and audio for our ceremony, then tore down and set up for the reception after. He was great at listening to what we wanted and made sure to ask clarifying questions during the night to make sure everything went smoothly. I've had so many people tell me that Wes was the best DJ they've ever had at a wedding. He got people involved, jumped on the dance floor to show everyone how to do the wobble, and brought hats and props for a dance game. I'd recommend Wes to anyone looking for a great DJ. Communication with High Energy DJ's was great throughout the entire wedding planning process. Scott took a phone call in the beginning of the process to field some quick questions from me and then called a week before to set up final details. I was a little worried when I still hadn't received a time for a final phone call 7 days before the ceremony, but Scott contacted me the next day and it all worked out. My only complaint was the fact that the entire process was a little low-tech. The phone call the week before to iron out details seemed a little clunky and I would have preferred filling out a form online with all of the song names and details for each part of the ceremony and reception. Overall, I would highly recommend High Energy DJ's to anyone looking for a fun and affordable DJ option.

Scott the dj wad fantastic!!! He had me play a game with my husband and he also helped my husband trick me with our first dance song!!! He was great in helping to make sure the wedding party always had drinks and he kept the music going and everyone had a great time!!! We highly recommend high energy dj for weddings!!!

Our DJ Tyler was phenomenal! We really appreciated his flexibility through the night as plans changed. He was kind, professional, listened well, and was fun.

They were great to work with, I had recorded music to be used during the wedding ceremony and the ceremony went perfect. Music selection was great, lots of dancing, great interactions and fun all night.

Everything went great. Our DJ Tyler was absolutely amazing, from organizing the Grant Entrance, to engaging with the crowd throughout the night. We received multiple compliments from guests that night about our choice of a DJ.

Scott did our wedding this past weekend. He absolutely killed it. We had so many people come up to us and say how much fun the we're having and how amazing the dj was. Absolutely incredible DJ! We had a micro wedding with a total of 34 people. We knew people wouldn’t dance much but he managed to truly personalize our experience. I am still receiving compliments on him! I would hire him again and we intend to for our big party celebrating our wedding. Truly an amazing experience!

We had Craig from High Energy as our wedding DJ, for both the ceremony and the reception. He did a great job! The DJ planning call with the High Energy organizer was super detailed - they have a ton of options and clearly have a lot of experience with weddings. They kept very true to our intended vibe - informal and happy. They provided mics for the ceremony and speeches, did announcements for when the next event was happening, and had disco lights that made the dance floor feel like a real party. Craig kept everyone dancing all night long, and he even danced himself behind the DJ booth! He was so professional and friendly, and the event was a great success. Thanks Craig!

Ethan and Scott were fantastic. Really quick response time and accommodated all our needs. On the day of Ethan was so great about keeping us informed. Our guests loved the music and we got so many compliments for great entertainment!

Our DJ, Tyler, was great to work with! He was willing to do a small set up in the barn for our dinner and then move outside for the rest of the night so our guests could social distance. We received many compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the music and how Tyler interacted with everyone. He was energetic and fun. I saw High Energy DJs in action at two other weddings and had a blast. On top of the great job they did at our reception they were also the most reasonably priced company in the area.

High Energy Mobile DJs was an amazing DJ for our wedding! Scott was the DJ for the night and he was very professional, friendly, and had great music selection. He made sure that our wedding party and we were always taken care of, even offering to get us drinks throughout dinner. We had some specific do not play and must play songs, which he followed to a tee. He also asked us what the last half hour of songs we would like to play when it got to that point of the night, which was extremely appreciated. Our dance floor was full the entire night, thanks to Scott! He also did the sound/music for our outdoor ceremony, which we had zero problems during and the sound was perfect. Working with Scott Q to plan went very well too. While they highly recommend the interactive games, we opted not to do them and they accommodated our wishes. I definitely recommend High Energy Mobile DJs, and their cost was unbeatable. We were very satisfied with our choice!

We receive so many compliments on the music, everybody loved it! Always people on the dance floor dancing. Also, the cocktail music was perfect. Scott did a great job and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dj!

High Energy Mobile DJ was the best entertainment we could have found for our wedding! Ethan was phenomenal and did a great job keeping the party going strong for hours. It's not very often you can find a DJ who can keep everything dancing for three hours straight! He was professional, organized and attentive and so many people told us it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. I highly recommend going with this business for your DJ and wedding needs as we could not possibly be happier with them!

To start with, the pricing for the DJ is beyond reasonable. We got married on Saturday, July 20 and got 2 hours of dinner music and 4 hours of actual dance. You can pay additional for a longer show. Secondly, Scott “Q” is the owner but also a DJ. He is easy to communicate with, replies quickly, and is beyond flexible with the requests. He calls the week of or week before to ensure that all of your important songs and requests are noted ahead of time and ready to be fulfilled. WONDERFUL AND GENUINELY NICE GUY. On their website, they list the names of their DJ’s with a little background information. We requested Scott “Rugger” for his background and like for classic country. Let me tell you, I am so happy he was our DJ. He was so polite and entertained the entire crowd from ages 1 to 80. Everyone is still commenting about just how great the DJ service was at our wedding. With High Energy DJ, you don’t have to dread the hassle of knowing what is suppose to be happening at each time. The DJ will tell you when it’s time for Grand March, speeches, first dance, and all the other important parts during his time. He kept everything on track and kept the dance floor full from start to finish with people that claim to “not like dancing.” Seriously, I would recommend this DJ service to anyone. They are located out of Sun Prairie but will travel. As I said, their prices are beyond reasonable for the amount of effort and greatness they provide. My husband and I are so grateful to have hired a company that has compassion for the services they provide. Even though countless other things went wrong that we’re out of our control, the one thing that we can say was perfect was the DJ and entertainment.

Our DJ Steve kept people on the dance floor and even kept us on schedule. This company did an amazing job! Easy to work with and an amazing price!

Craig was great! He showed up before our ceremony and gave us a rundown of what he needed from us and then took care of the rest! He played off the crowd to find music that everyone would love. We were really happy with his performance.

We used High Energy DJ’s for our wedding reception. Craig did a wonderful job- we were very happy with everything. The reception was a total blast with the music and kiss cards. Craig also did a great job releasing the tables for the buffet. Several of our guests came up to me during the reception and told me they’d had more fun dancing at our wedding than at any of the others they’d been to in a long time. I’d definitely recommend High Energy DJ’s for any event!

Excellent service

I was so thoroughly impressed with our DJ Kelsie. We met with Scott the Monday before the wedding to go over final details and I left the meeting feeling really confident, but was still unsure of how Scott would be able to relay the information to his DJ on site. Kelsie set up in record time, and was able to take requests while also playing songs that appealed to my guests aging from 3-98! We didn’t go with the High Energy Dance package and also didn’t play any games or do a bouquet toss, but we had an awesome time with a few Arabic songs that we’d requested. Seeing that the crowd had really enjoyed those songs, Kelsie played them again or looped them without us even having to ask. She also checked in with us throughout the night and I really couldn’t have hoped for a better night. If you’re hesitating, don’t! The website may not be fancy, and they don’t boast about any equipment or video packages, but they know what they’re doing and will do whatever you ask.

My now-husband was delegated the task of finding a DJ. I was a bit hesitant when he suggested High Energy DJs, since I had not heard of them and their prices seemed too good to be true. We were truly impressed and so happy we went with this vendor! They were accommodating with changes, even those made the week of the wedding. Craig was a wonderful MC and DJ and kept things running throughout the night. The first dance gift was a lovely touch as well. High Energy DJs really shows you that you don't need to break the bank to have the wedding reception of your dreams!

These guys are seriously the best around! By far the best DJs I've ever experienced! Scott made our day so special and easy, he kept checking in to make sure everything was going perfectly, and kept playing hit after hit! I cannot recommend these guys enough, they are such a great price too!

The whole process was pretty easy from start to finish, from booking up until the last song played. Steve was an amazing DJ and I liked how he double checked song choices and names for grand entrance before starting. I was dancing the entire time and the song choices are exactly what we wanted and everyone had so much fun. He even let one of the groomsman sing a song that meant so much to us and the high energy aerobics was so much fun! I can’t thank Steve enough for providing an amazing experience!

I couldn’t have picked a better DJ company than High Energy. The owner Scott was friendly and prompt with communication. Our DJ was Craig and he was simply amazing! He was so friendly, read the crowd, and was on top of everything. I don’t think there was a song that people weren’t on the floor for. Our wedding would not have been as fun without him, a great DJ really makes a difference. Also, they are quite affordable! Highly recommend.

Can not say enough great things about High Energy! Before booking them, I was able to meet with our DJ (Scott N) to brainstorm ideas which was incredibly helpful, plus it gave us a list of things to figure out (which is helpful when you have no clue all the little things you need to plan). The week before, the owner called and confirmed all the specifics and went through our preference sheet one more time. As a bride you have so many things on your mind and you are worry about who you need to get counts, table settings, and everything else; so having them call me was so appreciated as it was once less thing I needed to remember to do. This was definitely not Scott N.'s first time at the rodeo. Even at the reception, he would continue to confirm timing and see if we were on schedule, and even offered suggestions when we didn't know what we should do. Plus he made it fun by playing a scavenger hunt/musical chairs type of game and with the kiss cards (which are stunts an entire table would need to do before the bride and groom have to kiss). Any company can play music, but the service, expertise, and communication provided by High Energy was AMAZING! I highly recommend! Scott N. Thank you!

Everything was perfect, we all LOVED Billy!! He was very personable. Everyone was commenting on he socialized with the guests and walked around. They loved how he acted like he was one of our friends just hanging out. He went with the flow as him and the photographer worked out the timing of everything. He remembered people's names and was calling them out, just great. Not a bad thing to say, can't wait until we have a reason for the party to have him back!

We had High Energy Dj and Matt was our DJ we were overall satisfied. He did a nice job getting the crowd into dancing and played some games! Had a couple people say they requested songs and they never heard them so that is why giving a 4 star, but a lot of good music was played! The communication with the owner Scott was excellent. Our DJ was very professional, attentive to our requests, and respectful. They are the most reasonably priced DJ company around and do just as good of a job if not better than other more expensive ones!

The dance floor was never empty! I loved how Tyler was able to keep the energy going throughout the whole night. All of our wedding guests kept commenting how much they loved Tyler and the energy he provided. The entire experience with High Energy DJs was outstanding and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a DJ that keeps the party going!

WOW! We had such an incredible experience with our DJ (Scott aka "Rugger" - different from owner Scott)! Scott arrived early and got everything setup and immediately started finding places he could help with things outside of DJing. He was even getting the wedding party drinks at the head table while we ate dinner. He had great energy and a good sense of humor. He kept everything on schedule and kept the party hopping all through the night with great music! We honestly could not have had a better experience! We HIGHLY recommend High Energy DJs!

When looking for DJs, we didn't have much money left in our budget. I came across High Energy DJs through a Google search, in addition to seeing a positive review from one of my co-workers who used them at her wedding. At first I was a little skeptical about the quality I would get from them being about $600 with the other competitor DJs listing packages starting at about $1,500+. Don't let price fool you, because Craig, our DJ from High Energy DJs, threw the most epic dance party for us at our wedding. The music selection was awesome, and he took requests as well. Craig kept everyone out on the dance floor all night. We had so much fun at our wedding and all of our guests commented how great of a time they had as well. I highly recommend High Energy DJs (and try to request Craig)!

They did a wonderful job at a friend's wedding so they were my first and only pick for DJ at my reception. The crowd absolutely adored him and he really went above to beyond the get the crowd energized and dancing. Not only was Tyler fun and upbeat, but he was very professional. He danced along with the crowd and engaged everyone. The service was very affordable and worth every penny.

We chose High Energy DJs because the price was very reasonable, especially compared to many other local vendors. But I was also very impressed with the rave reviews they received. That alone was enough to decide to book them for our wedding. But when our DJ, Scott, arrived on the day of our wedding, he came early so he could set up, and he was so organized and on top of things the whole night. It made me feel so much more relaxed because I knew the minute I met him he was handling everything perfectly - I had absolutely nothing to worry about the rest of the evening. He was so attentive and was even getting drinks for my wedding party and making sure everyone was happy!
