Congratulations on your engagement!! If you're looking for someone to create a wedding ceremony that will be uniquely your own, you've found "your person"! I got my start as an Alameda County Deputy Marriage Commissioner over 10 years ago, and went out on my own so I could create ceremonies my clients and their guests would rave about. Where do we start? By scheduling a "get acquainted" meeting via Google Meets or equivalent so we can share information--your vision, my experience, ideas, marriage license process, answer questions, etc. I look forward to the opportunity to be of service.

Saundra met with us beforehand to hear our love story and get to know us both individually and as a couple. She made sure our voices were heard and that our wishes for the ceremony were thoughtfully incorporated.
I consider myself spiritual but not religious, while my husband was raised in a religious family and has his own way of practicing it. Saundra reassured us that despite our differences, she would be able to blend both of our beliefs into a ceremony that honored us equally—and she absolutely delivered. My husband also shared some of his concerns with Saundra, including potential areas of conflict, and she responded with understanding and grace, sharing how she’s helped other couples navigate similar situations.
When the big day arrived, Saundra was incredible. She led the ceremony with such beauty, calm, and confidence—it flowed seamlessly. She was organized, warm, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She even offered to print our vows on the most gorgeous cardstock and supported us with the ceremony’s flow to ensure everything went perfectly.
After the ceremony, Saundra took care of our marriage license, ensuring everything was completed and submitted properly.

Saundra worked with us before the wedding to build a script that would work for us. We chose to write our own vows and she kept us on track for submitting them to her before our wedding day. She printed the vows and provided them to us on our wedding day (which we now have framed and hanging up in our living room :) ). She also took care of sending out our marriage license to the county clerk (and ensured that they signed off on receiving it so there weren't any mix ups).
She helped us during our rehearsal for setting up timing to walk down the aisle. She also suggested positioning for photo opportunities! You can tell she has a lot of experience and expertise with officiating weddings.
