DJ Tony was also instrumental in providing a unique flow of the first dance, father daughter dance etc. I followed his guidance completely and heard nothing but raving comments from our family and friends. Additionally, Tony was incredibly patient and kind with my endless phone calls throughout the planning process. He is a great DJ and most importantly an outstanding person. Thank you Tony for your involvement in making my daughters reception a wonderful and memorable evening.

r the day of, the reception entrances, dinner, speeches, and dances went seamlessly. The dance floor was pack ALL night! From young kids, to young adults, to parents and grandparents everyone was dancing/having a great time and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!! He was a huge part of making our wedding reception everything we dreamed of and more.

On our wedding day, he played all of our favorite songs and when other guests asked to play country music (on our No play list) he had no problem shutting them down. He also had everyone come out on the dance floor for a group photo which is now hanging in my living room. You absolutely cannot go wrong booking ICON and more specifically Eric for your event!

He was so flexible in his availability even though we know he's a very busy DJ. Also, his communication was 5 star as well, responding to emails and texts in more than reasonable time. Lastly, because he has so much experience doing weddings, he was perfect during the wedding. He announced things for us, he let me (the groom) take over when need be. He was even able to play a CD for us in a time when it's very reasonable not to have any computer with a CD player. He kept the reception flowing, everyone was having a great time and he knew how to adjust the music to keep all sorts of different ages of people on the dance floor. It seems like DJ Tony is one of the best in the business because even our event manager had him for her wedding and she absolutely loved him too. The night went even better than I could have possibly imagined. A lot of tat had to do with how excellent DJ Tony was. Thank you DJ Tony Tone and the ICON Event Staff!

ored to each couples personalities. We were not fans of a lot of the traditional wedding music and he NAILED IT while still keeping our dance floor going all night. Julien is professional and fun to work with. He helped take all of the stress out of our wedding day and kept the party going. I’d get married all over again just to have have him DJ our wedding for a second time. Also, Icon Event has the option for sparklers…If you are even considering it, ADD THEM! They made for such a fun and special moment - the guests loved it.

DJ Tony was funny and got the crowd excited. He was personable, charismatic, and added a special spunk to the night which overall made it very enjoyable. off and was a dream to work with the entire night. Prior to the wedding, the company itself was great! Our venue had many rooms and they worked with us to ensure everyone would be able to hear the announcements and music.

nd felt certain rates were more expensive than they needed to be (for example $350 for a slideshow to be played for 40 minutes- no set up of projector or screen needed). The DJ had a lot of trouble with our entrance and first dance songs which made for a very awkward 30-60 seconds both times. The song I walked down the isle to was not started at the correct timing as well, though no guests except myself noticed. Once all of the pre-selected songs were through the DJ did a great job at picking out music that kept the dance floor going, however overall struggled with pre-selected songs.

We gave him specific songs to play at certain time points, do play song list, don’t play song list, etc. and he did exactly that! He also did a great job reading the crowd. We can’t recommend Grant enough. If there was a scale from 0 to 100 he would be 100!

the best decision we made. From the start the Icon Event Group was fantastic. Katie Loomis was instrumental in helping us get comfortable and determine which package we needed. She took the necessary time to meet with us and showed a true interest in getting to know my wife and I on a personal level. It was very clear, Katie and her team wanted to do whatever they could to make our wedding day special...and they did just that. After meeting with Katie, we were told that Eric James would be the DJ for our wedding, gave us a run down of what to expect in the coming weeks and months from the day we signed the contract all the way until the final song on our wedding day. Eric was amazing in every way. Just like Katie, Eric took a great deal of pride and interest in getting to know my wife and I. We met via zoom to discuss the timeline for the wedding day and Eric instantly had us excited. Eric seriously made our wedding day special. From the first zoom call all the way through the final song, Shout, he was fantastic. Eric assisted in keeping us on time during the reception, he gave advice and insight on the best ways to set up the timeline for the reception. One of Eric's first words to us was, "my job is to allow you to enjoy your wedding day and not stress about where to be and what to do" and he did just that. Eric's ability to keep people on the dance floor and keep the energy in the room was something I had never seen at a wedding before. From the first dance to the final song no one left the dance floor. Eric's music appealed to all age groups that were in attendance. Overall, the best decision you can make when planning your wedding is to book Icon Event Group. My wife and I's wedding is a day we will never forget, and it would not have been possible without Eric and Katie.

but your DJ is actually the one who is running the schedule at your reception. And having an amazing DJ that can read the room like we had from ICON is everything. Our DJ was so nice/ accommodating along the way when planning and on the day of absolutely blew not just my Husband and I away but EVERY one of our guests couldn't stop talking about the DJ. Just learn from us and go straight to ICON! They are the best in the business.

a DJ that best met our wants/needs. Tony from ICON was our DJ and he was AMAZING! He had everybody on the dance floor and our guests loved him. He really knows how to work a crowd. We also met with him multiple times and he made us feel so comfortable with the DJ process. He does his job perfectly and has so many creative ideas as well! 100% he needs to be your DJ!

The DJ is such an important part of the wedding reception and they do not take that lightly! It was a perfect night for us.

ow much the DJ controls the tempo of the night and events! Kevin was on top of everything and was super efficient working with the coordinators at the venue. More importantly, our dance floor was busy ALL night. We had a majority of our guests under 30 so he played a lot of hip hop, while also catering to our older guests with more timeless classics. He listened to requests from the bride and groom and was constantly reading the room for the perfect music vibe. Couldn't recommend Icon enough!!

o orient your music for procession and ceremony. because he has worked with a range of clientele and music preferences, he will have a large pool to help beef up your list should you need that sort of help. he is flexible, even if you were to change up the arrangement of songs come day of. please don’t do this to him, but know that he is fully capable and considerate as long as you communicate a clear expectation about the purpose some of your songs serve (i.e. choosing a song for bridal party to walk down to, but you may need him to loop a segment seemlessly to extend the duration, or you want tony to cut a song appropriately because you have a small bridal party). he has worked in so many venues in kc, so he was well acquainted with setup system at The Harlow, for our wedding space. tony brought neon light wands for our guests, and they had a blast dancing in the dimmed room with these.. i also needed help getting a projector but didn’t want to pay $250 to use the venue’s projector, and tony brought one in for me! i cannot thank him enough for the moral support he brought, even before the wedding day. thank you tony, i will always recommend you to our friends who marry in kc!

remony and completely forgot to let Tim know 😅 so when the time came without missing a beat he subtlety faded one song into the other song that was meant to be played and it was perfect! Throughout the whole night he would check in with us and see when we were ready for the next thing on our timeline so we were never blind sided. He even made sure to get my approval when some of our guests were requesting more inappropriate songs which I thought was really thoughtful! I would absolutely recommend Icon to everyone!
