Couples can exchange vows in the ballroom on the seventh floor, which offers unforgettable views of the Washington skyline. This ballroom can accommodate a large variety of events and is fitted with state-of-the-art technology for a true spy experience. On the floor above, the landscaped Rooftop Terrace can host 200 guests and provide many romantic photo opportunities overlooking the city. By combining the space of the seventh and eighth floors, a large-scale event can be held for up to 700 guests. With space for about 190 people, the Museum Lobby is the ideal place to mix and mingle amongst large-scale artifacts. The Veil is one of the most unique locations in the Museum, ideal for cocktail hours or intimate dinners. The large windows and incredible architecture combine to create a memorable space with magnificent views. The team at the International Spy Museum offers services to ensure that your event is as smooth-running and enjoyable as possible. The experienced staff is here to support you and your wedding planner from your first site visit to the moment your last guests leave, tuckered out from a night of dancing and celebration. Our wedding and reception at the Spy museum could not have gone better! From start to finish, the staff treated us like VİPs. Not only were they responsive and timely in their communication, but they were also friendly and accommodating to all of our questions and requests along the way. We worked closely with Amanda during the planning of our wedding, and by the time the day came, she felt like a close friend! On top of the amazing service, our wedding day was an absolute dream! We took full advantage of the museum's exhibit spaces for our photos as well as the rooftop and ballroom for our reception, which offered incredible views and a truly unique exlerience to see the DC skyline. Our guests have continued to tell us how fun and interesting our day was, and we know that we couldn't have offered such a top notch experience without all the museum has to offer.

We were thoroughly impressed by Cori, Nykeesha, and the entire team at the International Spy Museum. From meeting with us many times prior to the event to being flexible with our requests to connecting us with their recommended vendors, they made our wedding dreams come true! It was the best weekend of our lives. It also doesn’t hurt that the Spy Museum has some of the most beautiful views of DC. We can’t recommend this venue enough!

We and our guests are still talking about our perfect wedding atop the International Spy Museum. The SPY team and caterers made things so easy that we managed to visit with out-of-town guests and take naps on our wedding day. Communication with the SPY team was great. The rooftop was perfect for a formal ceremony with the Capitol and monuments in the background followed by a night of feasting and dancing for 100 guests - no moving the masses or guests waiting for the reception to start. We literally went from vows and final blessing to champagne and appetizers in less than 1 minute. Guests loved that the Hilton was walking distance from the museum and short ride from Reagan National Airport. We wouldn’t have changed anything! (Steve & Michael 4/21/23)

We had an excellent experience holding our wedding reception on the 7th floor ballroom! Stephanie and the team were extremely flexible and easy to work with, especially since we had to move our original date due to covid. We had a fantastic day and everyone couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the space was.

We almost got married at the Spy Museum but at the last minute needed to change our plans (due to covid). Stephanie and the events team were fantastically accommodating and made us feel special from the get-go. During our tour of the venue we also got a sneak peek at the museum, and throughout the planning phases they were always quick to respond to our many questions. We absolutely loved the indoor/outdoor feeling of the rooftop and think that it would be a perfect place to tie the knot! Maybe we'll be back someday to celebrate our anniversary :)

Our NYE wedding at SPY was incredible! We used the roof for our ceremony and the 7th floor for cocktail hour and the reception. We wanted a unique and beautiful venue with views of the city and SPY immediately stood out to us. We knew it was the perfect place to get married when we went to see it and it completely exceeded our expectations! The staff at SPY are also incredible. They're kind, professional, responsive and were very understanding and accommodating when we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding because of COVID. We can't recommend SPY and their team enough!!!

We got married on the roof of the Spy Museum in June of 2020--yes, in the middle of the pandemic. Stephanie and the team bent over backwards to welcome and accommodate us. Our tiny wedding was intimate, personal and beautiful. We had a walk-through a day or so beforehand, and every detail was attended to. We catered the event using Main Event Caterers, and everything was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing!

The Spy Museum Rooftop Terrace was the wedding location of my dreams. The views are jaw dropping and the space really needs minimal décor to make a huge statement. The staff was super attentive throughout the wedding planning process, accommodating venue tours at the last minute and responding to emails almost instantly. We had a relatively small wedding and the space didn't swallow us or make it feel like we couldn't fill it up. It is really such a memorable venue and I am so happy we got married here!

I have so many wonderful things to say about the Spy Museum. We recently had our wedding here on the rooftop and it was an absolute dream come true. Let me start with the location. The rooftop views provide stunning unobstructed views of The Monument & The Capital. You can also see national harbor and the Nats stadium – it is truly one of the top views possible in DC. Next, the amazing staff. We first spoke with Stephanie when we reached out to inquire about the location for our microwedding and later went on to work with Amanda. These women responded promptly to every email and helped to answer every question thoroughly. They were kind and funny when we met them in person and helped to make the entire planning process seamless. Amanda worked closely with my caterer (Ridgewells – also highly recommend!) to come up with design layouts for sunny, windy or rainy weather. Honestly, knowing that my wedding was in their hands made me feel like I didn’t have to worry at all. Lastly, I want to take the time to say how the entire Spy Museum staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was COVID safe. They abiding by DC COVID guidelines and took extra steps to make sure that my guests felt as safe as possible during these crazy times. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a COVID safe small wedding (and a normal sized one in the future!).

Jaw dropping. For my wedding, we reserved both the rooftop and the 7th floor ballroom. The rooftop was used for the cocktail hour, and guests were amazed. It is a 360 view of DC, from one location. We also had incredible weather which allowed for amazing pictures, even on an iPhone. The 7th floor ballroom was gorgeous as well, with floor to ceiling windows and plenty of space to decorate. People adored the venue and felt like they went to more than just a wedding, but also got to experience DC. Most importantly, the team at the Spy Museum was a pleasure to work with. From Stephanie in Sales, to Amanda with coordination, to the staff the day of, everything was flawless. I am so happy we chose this venue for the memories of a life time!
