(my fear was that hubby would look like a robot on all of them). Jenna knows the area well and took us to this amazing place where we took "beach photos" - it was a very charming rocky beach. Second, it was Jenna's anniversary on our wedding day and although we initially chose 6 hours package, she was very flexible and happy to stay longer and longer as we kept on asking her for another extra hour! So sorry if we ruined any anniversary plans!! Thirdly, Jenna is just gifted. Our photos look so professional and exactly what we expected. We looked at the work of numerous photographers and her style was the one closest to what we love. Our photos turned out just amazing - it was extremely hard to pick the favorites for the album. onth for the right photographer. When my fiancé and I decided to go to Hawaii at the last min for a vacation, we decided to take our engagement pictures in Hawaii. It only took me 5 to 10 min to stumble onto Jenna's website & I immediately fall in love with her works! I knew she was the photographer I was searching for. Jenna was very accommodating to our schedule & luckily we were able to book her! We communicated about what we liked to see & trusted Jenna with site selections. We originally planned for 3 sites. But the photoshoot itself was so much fun that we all got carried away of the time & were only able to do 2. Regardless, the pictures turned out beautiful!! Jenna was able to capture 2 completely different style-- soft boho look & bold glamours classic style. With Jenna's choice in site selection, the pictures turned out much better than what I ever hope for! The pictures were beautiful, romantic, and classy, yet natural-- exactly what I was hoping for. The shoot itself was so much fun, especially the part where we kicked off our shoes and walked up a little feeder stream that led to the beach. She took a lot of care with photo-editing, even stitching a series of landscape photos together to give us a portrait that looked straight out of an adventure movie. They made fantastic postcards for our save the dates. I highly recommend Jenna to anybody looking for magical wedding and engagement photos!

I happen to be wedding photographer myself, so I was naturally very selective in choosing a photographer. I could tell from Jenna's work that she had an incredibly artistic eye with a photo-journalistic appeal. Since this was going to be a surprise proposal, I needed someone who was comfortable shooting candid photos in a discrete way...Jenna was the perfect choice. Thankfully she was available on the evening I planned proposal. We communicated throughout the week about the proposal plans...mostly through text since my girlfriend was with me most of the trip . Jenna was quick to respond and very helpful in setting the stage for everything to unfold. She was open to meeting us at the desired location (on a mountaintop overlooking Honolulu), at sunset and even showed up early to scout the location. When the proposal actually happened, my girlfriend didn't even notice that Jenna was there until afterward. The photos turned out better than I had hoped with an extremely fast turnaround. Overall, she was a pleasure to work with and should be a top choice for any proposal, wedding or engagement.

Jenna Leigh was kind enough to schedule a Skype interview with us early on, and we hit it off with her right away. Between her portfolio online and our meeting with her, we knew we would be a perfect fit. We had her shoot our engagement photo session about 6 months prior to our wedding, so we could become comfortable behind the camera. Doing a photo shoot was new to both my husband and I, and we were a little nervous about feeling or looking awkward in our pictures! Jenna Leigh put us at ease right away. After a while, it's almost like you forget that she's there, and it helps her to capture candid and sweet moments. Our engagement pictures who so incredibly beautiful, and left us very excited to have her capture our wedding. During formal pictures, Jenna was encouraging and helpful, quickly adjusting to our natural moments to best capture them on film. Even during our formal pictures, my focus was able to be centered around my groom, rather than our photographer; she took care of the rest. Jenna was amazing to work with, even before we saw our photos. But then, Jenna posted a preview of our wedding pictures on her blog. Stop my heart. I knew I looked my best on my wedding day, but seeing myself in the pictures Jenna took truly took my breath away. I feel like Jenna honestly captured the essence of my heart and the love between my husband and myself in the photos. I have never loved so much the way I look in photos. Some people bragged to me about what a "good deal" they got on a wedding photographer- a student, someone who wanted their pictures for a starting portfolio, a family member with a good camera, or even a photographer with a "less artistic style." I'm glad these people were happy, but this is the opposite of what I was looking for in a wedding photographer. Two months after our wedding our flowers have died, the food has been eaten, our favors are put away and my wedding dress is in a box. Our wedding photos however, are going up on our walls and will be part of our lives and family forever. Hiring an artist to take our wedding pictures was the "good deal," the best investment of my wedding budget.
