Steve took the time to understand our music preferences and curated the perfect playlist that kept our dance floor packed all night long! His energy was infectious, and he truly knew how to read the crowd, seamlessly transitioning between genres to keep everyone engaged and having a great time. The sound quality was impeccable, and he even helped coordinate the timing of our special moments, making the day flow effortlessly. Amazing job! Steve was a fantastic DJ, we told him our vision for the day and he exceeded expectations! All night we received compliments about the music playlist. (all we did was tell Steve what we liked and he handles the rest!) Loved working with them!

Cam was AMAZING! He picked the perfect vibe for us to dance the night away too. People could NOT get off the dance floor cause every next song was amazing. From the minute I first spoke with Todd, I knew I wanted him to DJ my wedding. From the start, he gave off an awesome vibe, which he kept until the very end. Todd and his team are professional and very thorough when it comes to planning. He made sure to go over every detail with me to make sure the wedding went exactly the way my husband and I wanted. He was very flexible with schedule changes, which made me more at ease.  Todd was a vendor I didn't have to micromanage on the day of my wedding. I NEEDED that. I appreciated that. Let me tell you...he killed it. Everyone had so much fun on the dance floor! I told him my family was a group of dancers, and I wanted to spend the night on the dance floor. He didn't disappoint. He played banger after banger, hitting songs off my requested list and mixed in his own. But he wasn't just a DJ; he was also my emcee. He kept the night flowing or was ready to jump into action if I needed the night to move along.  Jock in the Box offers several package options, upgrades, and add-ons, which is nice for a one-stop shop. I appreciate that this company thought of things like how to create a better microphone to use during the ceremony. It's that out-of-the-box thinking that makes them next level.  In the end, I have nothing bad to say about this team. Just go ahead and book them.

Todd was an absolute pleasure to work with. He has great communication and we loved the online platform to fill in our vendor information, timeline of the day, and song requests. He absolutely killed it at our wedding and played music to keep the party going. I would highly recommend using this company!!

Music was so important to me and my husband for our July 2024 wedding. Our goal was to have the best dance party possible, and Todd definitely helped us achieve this! Our guests of all ages were on the dance floor the entire night! We had many song requests from different genres that we shared with Todd prior to the wedding, and he ensured that they were all played. We received so many compliments from our guests about Todd and the atmosphere he helped create. I cannot recommend Todd and Jock in the Box highly enough!

One thing I want to mention is that when we were having an issue with our dance floor from a different vendor, Todd took it upon himself to fix it and save the day. As time passes after your wedding you have time to reflect on the choices you made for your big day. One we have never regretted is choosing Jock in the Box. Todd is a complete professional and went above and beyond to make our day special. He helped us put together a lip sync battle that was the highlight of our wedding for sure. He was a great emcee. From beginning to end working with him was easy and fun. He is really dedicated to his craft. The live edit was also so worth it. Such a highlight. You can't go wrong with Jock in the Box.

Could not have asked for a better DJ, we feel extremely fortunate that we booked Jock in the Box for our wedding. It was such a difficult thing to plan, but every time we talked with Todd we felt immediately better. He was extremely professional, and his years of experience really assured everything went so smoothly. Not to mention, his music selection had everyone tearing up the dance floor all night and everyone coming up to us after telling us how awesome our DJ was. It was a culturally mixed wedding, and Todd had EVERYONE dancing and everyone happy. 10000 out of 10, couldn’t recommend more.

Todd at Jock in the Box did such a fantastic job as the DJ for our wedding. The entire staff at Jock and the box was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had over the many months. Prior to the big day we met with Todd to go over all the details and parts of the ceremony and reception, making us feel assured everything would go smoothly. Our wedding was bilingual/multicultural, and Todd did a great job incorporating different types of music to make sure everyone had a great time. During the event Todd also checked in with us multiple times to make sure that things were going the way we wanted and if there was anything we needed. He was attentive during the first dances, speeches and our photo dash and really worked with the crowd. If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn’t have changed a thing. We are so glad we picked Jock in the Box and we would absolutely recommend them to others!

Cam is fantastic! He took the time to meet with my husband and I a week before the wedding and go over the timeline so there were no surprises. He really knows his stuff and had great song recommendations for us! He is so down to earth, and so easy to work with. Both my husband and I really enjoyed working with him. He played the best music and was so flexible during our wedding. The only regret I had is that I wish we had more time to party with Cam. He is the best! Hire him! Thank you Cam!

Jock in the Box Entertainment did an exceptional job in providing the musical entertainment and photobooth for my wedding in December 2023. From our first meeting with Todd, we got such great vibes from him and could feel his excitement for us in our wedding planning process. We spent over an hour talking about ourselves and our hopes for our wedding entertainment. He wasn’t just there to sell his services, he wanted to make sure their business was a good fit for us first. When we walked out their office, we were already sold. Making payments and planning the details of the wedding was easy to do, as they have a full website custom-made for your event and give you the ability to fill in the details in the months leading up to it. The website also has a portal to submit payments at your leisure. Talking with him the weeks prior to the wedding, we were once again reassured that we had made the right choice with this wedding vendor. He gave us confidence in our plans and provided a simple to-do list so we could be sure we had everything done in time. We opted to do their Magic Mirror selfie station as a photobooth during our wedding reception. It was a huge hit! His music choices were perfect throughout the night, he bounced between genres and got the whole crowd on the dance floor. His set-up was sleek and the sound quality was great. If we ever had to pick a wedding DJ again, Todd would be our choice, without a doubt!

Todd from Jock in the Box was PHENOMENAL. He kept the party going the whole night. The dance floor was never empty, right up to the last song. Many of my guests reached out to me after the wedding to comment on how good the music was. And prior to the wedding, Todd and his team made everything so easy and clear. Customer service was excellent. I had no stress with the music because of Todd's professionalism and organization. Trust me, you need Jock in the Box for your wedding.

Cam was an amazing wedding DJ!! I can’t say enough about how great he fit our taste in music we were looking for. For starters his equipment setup looked sleek and fit our vibe with the amber accent lights we added. The music planning website they used was awesome! Definitely made it easy to select the special songs throughout the night and pick some favorites to play and some to avoid. He was great at moving things along by announcing things when they started while later letting his music do all the talking. I maybe wish I ate more food and talked to some more guests but I just couldn’t get off the dance floor with how great Cams music choices were. I had Jock in the box recommended to me by some bridesmaids who had used them and would 100% recommend them to anyone who is looking, especially Cam!

Choosing Todd from Jock in the Box as our wedding DJ was one of the best decisions we made! We knew after our initial call that he was the right person for the job because his passion, professionalism, sense of humor and expertise came through so strongly. Jock in the Box in general knows how to take care of their couples and make the planning process as stress free as possible. Their online platform was also super easy to use and very detailed. Todd was the best of the best! Not only are his DJ skills amazing but he was the easiest person to work with! His wedding experience definitely shows when working with him! He always replied quickly to emails/ texts and made the planning process super easy! He is such a fun person to be around and is super personable! At our wedding he played music of all ages so everyone of our guests were happy! The one thing I wanted at our wedding was to have FULL dance floor and Todd for sure accomplished that! I would recommend Todd a million times if I could! He even texted me after the wedding to give us honeymoon recommendations in Barbados as he stayed at the resort we were going to! Todd & Karen from the head office were also wonderful! The whole team are awesome, friendly, kind & the ultimate professionals. I got married last weekend and had an amazing reception! Jock in the Box was responsive from the start and everything was easy thereafter. Our DJ Tim was polite, flexible, and gave us great advice on how to time events at the reception before we even signed with him. During our reception Tim kept the party going, reading the crowd with amazing adeptness, and was able to accommodate last minutes changes. I highly recommend Tim and Jock in the Box to anyone looking for a DJ--multiple people said how awesome the music was.

Todd DJ’d our wedding in June of 2023. He was a godsend on our wedding day, and I would truly not pick anyone else if I had to do it again. As soon as he got there he checked in with us, made us feel comfortable, and got us excited about the day. He pivoted quickly with the rain plan, and was professional when our venue forgot to serve him food. We met with him only twice, and sent him a Spotify playlist, and somehow just through that it’s like he knew us personally. He went out of his way to play songs he knew we loved, and songs I loved that I didn’t even have on our playlist! He got the dance floor packed, and knew just what to play next to keep everyone dancing. He made custom cuts of our first dance and mother son dance songs. He brought beautiful lighting and mics for the ceremony AND worked with our photographer to get a slideshow going during dinner. He was a hype man, a boss, a cheerleader, and more. He was whatever we needed him to be. Thank you Todd for making our wedding amazing. I HIGHLY recommend using his services!

DJ Tim was an excellent choice for our wedding. Jock in the Box did not disappoint! All the planning was seamless and his ability to adjust to last minute changes was appreciated. All the guests had a great time and the dancing was no stop!

As a wedding DJ myself, there is a very short list of DJs I’d trust to refer my friends to. My best friend’s wedding would be no exception, and luckily Todd was available. When I say Todd put on an absolute clinic would be an understatement. From smooth ceremony coordination, making sure the day ran smoothly, and then of course running that dance floor like no one’s business. He turned a medium sized side room at Branford House in Mystic into a club experience with how he managed the lighting. This wasn’t over the top - some light sticks and a bunch of uplights, but they were tastefully synced and programmed. And the music - he was pulling out all the stops even during dinner, dropping throwbacks and getting people singing in between bites across all age ranges. It’s not like he peaked early either, he kept it going strong the entire night. Did I mention his contagious smile and upbeat attitude? This makes all the difference on a potentially crazy day - you can’t help but feel relaxed around him. Plus the humor he peppers throughout the day, you’ll know what I mean once you book him. You better get on that now, this man does 80 weddings a year with how much demand he’s built up over the years. Don’t wait or your date might already be taken!

From booking our first appointment to the end of our reception was flawless. Setting up meetings was easy, the email reminders were helpful and the website for song selections and other wedding details was most convenient. On wedding day our Dj was absolutely amazing and kept our guest dancing all night!

Anytime we asked around for DJ recommendations- Todd Powers and Jock in the Box came up almost every single time- and for good reason. From our first meeting with Todd, he asked questions to get to know us as a couple and music that we liked. He talked about how he would go back to the years that we would've been in high school to find the "bangers" that would be popular for our friends and guests at the wedding and how he wanted it to feel like a club/party. Todd was incredibly communicative the entire year leading up to our wedding and was so stress-free and willing to do all our crazy/intricate introductions. We also were married on a stage in a theater where Todd had to work with stagehands and managers to ensure the sound was good quality and it all exceeded our expectations. I received texts from Todd the night before and morning of checking-in to see if I needed anything/had any questions and in the morning he sent a getting-ready playlist. Then came the reception....us, and ALL of our guests were blown away. Even my brother, who lives in DC, said he would want to hire Todd at any cost when/if he got married! The music was so perfectly curated for our group, the dance floor was absolutely packed the entire night, he created an amazing atmosphere with his uplighting, and even pieced together a mashup for my father/daughter dance. I could go on and on but the proof is in the guest experience- every single guest has said what an amazing experience they had because of the DJ. I would not hesitate to hire Todd for any event literally ever.

Todd and his family are literally so fun and gave us the best time of our lives. The music was EVERYTHING, every guest and even people we don’t know have heard about our wedding and how fun it was and the best music was played, everyone loved the magic mirror and dancing on a cloud to our first dance was so fun and took away from the fact that we don’t know how to slow dance lol. Anyone would be lucky to have them as a vendor, they are like family on that day and truly bring your wedding to life. I know everyone says this but our wedding was perfect. For many reasons but luckily we had the best vendors at our wedding truly that made our dream come true. People are already asking us to renew our vows every year and throw a party every year. And if we did we’d be using Todd every single time.

Jock in the Box was very easy to work with. Their sound system and equipment was good quality, and the lighting package was what we needed. They explained everything we needed to do in a quick and friendly Zoom call. We used an online portal to enter in songs that we liked and the "do not play" list which I really appreciated. On the day of the event, our DJ, Steve, was high-energy and personable, but not obnoxious. He kept the party flowing, but did not insert himself as some DJs or MCs do. I especially loved that he let my husband and I take a picture like we were DJing, which is actually one of my faves in our collection. Steve mixed up the songs rather than playing the entire song of each song, and his transitions were good. He played a good mix of dinner music, cocktail music, and dance music - selecting all the right genre, tempo and mood for the right time. At the end of the night, Steve played our last song that we chose, and helped end the party on a high. We really loved working with Steve and felt that the experience was worth what we paid.

Tim was absolutely amazing. There were a few hiccups (on our end) and he transitioned flawlessly, put me at ease multiple times and everyone RAVED about the music. The photo booth was a total hit and everyone loved having a keepsake to go home with. Hands down the best experience of our lives and Tim executed everything perfectly. On a scale of 1-5 Tim was a 20. Thank you so much for everything you guys added on for us last minute. Working with Karen was so easy, she was so responsive and it was such a relief to not worry about anything. People always say that they remember the music and food at a wedding and the experience Tim provided was beyond memorable. If we could do it all over I wouldn’t change a thing! Todd was great from the initial meeting to the last dance of the wedding. Extremely flexible, played all requests that we had and played a great variety of songs for everyone. He was excellent at mashing songs up. We got great reviews from guests of all ages.

Definitely recommend Jock in the Box for your wedding! The company was highly recommended to me and I can understand why. They were very organized, helpful, and accommodating during the planning phase. Steve was our DJ and was very easy to contact and answer my questions. Not to mention he had the dance floor going all night! Only downside, there was some last minute mis-communication on which DJ was confirmed for our day. That being said, this was quickly resolved and they were very professional ( we ended up getting the DJ we intended). Overall, very happy with my experience.

Steve and Jock in the Box were great! We had to reschedule multiple times due to COVID, and they were very understanding and flexible throughout. It was very easy to put in our requests for songs, and were even able to make a couple last-minute requests at the reception (one of the last-minute songs we requested he had never heard of and wasn't in his system, but he was still able to find and play it before the night ended)! Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about how fabulous Steve was at our wedding. From the date we inquired about booking, until the wedding was over, the service, professionalism, attention to detail, and personal care was impeccable! He did an excellent job setting the tone for the night as well as reading the situation and adapting on the fly to how things were going. Our day of coordinator sent a replacement who showed up late and was not aware of our wedding details. Steve stepped in and went above and beyond to help pull it all together!
