Kristina shot both our engagement and wedding over the past year. As a plus size bride, I was worried about being photographed in flattering yet romantic ways. Kristina absolutely knocked it out of the park. She is not only incredible at posing the couple at hand, but also members in larger group shots. We loved every single photo received. Further, both Kristina and Vanessa fit so seamlessly into our wedding day, it truly felt like they were apart of our friends and family. I could not have asked for a better experience. We cannot wait to continue to use her for many more seasons to come.

Kristina was our wedding photographer and I don't think words can accurately describe how amazing she did! Let me start with the engagement shoot- Kristina traveled to red river gorge so we could get shots in one of my favorite places, she let me send her a ton of example poses and hit on all of them while we were there as well as a bunch of her own expert poses and angles to create the most beautiful pictures! I know she spent way more time than quoted both on the phone for planning and at our engagement shoot making sure we got everything my fiance and I had wanted! We did more planning phone calls and shared pictures of the various photos I wanted to achieve for the wedding as the big day approached. I was especially wanting to get these beautiful veil shots that I've seen other brides get! Whenever I texted Kristina she got back to me asap! She was a huge part of my support system. I'm so glad I had her and her assistant as part of our wedding team. On the big day she again got all the shots I wanted, including all the veil shots and some of my absolute favorite- train track photos! She edited the photos beautifully and got them out to me in time to post for our 1 month anniversary! She even had a sneak peak for us the night of the wedding, i didn't even know that was possible! The thing i appreciated the most about Kristina is that she ALWAYS valued our opinions and made us feel like we had a say in what we would get! If this review sounds at all exaggerated I promise it's still an understatement, we seriously loved working with Kristina!

Our photographers with K Herman Photography were absolutely amazing for our wedding photography! I was a little nervous about posing for photos, but their guidance made me feel really confident and the poses they suggested felt super cute and natural. Kristina listened to what I wanted and let me try a fun photo idea when I had one (Like including a giant cardboard cut out of our dog's head). Our wedding photos have turned out PERFECTLY and really captured us as a couple, I would highly recommend them ☺️

Words can’t explain how AMAZING the K Herman crew was at our wedding and engagement sessions. They are professional, fun and so easy to work with. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable during all the sessions that we did with them. She gave us memories that will last us a lifetime time and we will cherish them forever! You NEED to have K Herman Photography by your side on your wedding day! Photos were the most important wedding vendor to me, and I couldn’t be happier after working with Kristina! We used K Herman Photography for our engagement session and wedding which was over a year’s worth of time between. We noticed right off the bat how passionate Kristina is about her work. She is active on social media, so if you follow her you’ll see tons of examples of her work and lots of behind the scenes. Also, her communication back and forth is top tier. Kristina met with us in person before our wedding to help us figure out the photo timeline, locations, answer questions, etc. On the day of, she helped us stick right to this timeline and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and we had everything we needed. Even if you’re uncomfortable or have no experience in front of a camera, Kristina and Vanessa made it so easy to be ourselves. You can tell in our photos how happy my husband and I (and even our wedding party) were that day and how much fun we were having. They will make sure you get a good mix of formal/traditional, creative, detail, and candid photos. Kristina’s editing style ensures your photos will still look classic and amazing decades from now. She will also throw in a few trendy poses and filters to give you a good mix! I found that she was able to work in a wide range of different lighting situations and you wouldn’t even be able to tell from our pictures how dark some of the areas were! Her photos and editing are very high quality. She has a very quick turnaround time so you aren’t waiting for ages to see your photos! I’m not sure if this is always the norm, but we came back to our hotel after our reception around 12:45 am and already had a text from her with the link to our sneak peek which made us so happy!! 😍 She shared some photos throughout her editing process so we never felt like we were waiting a long period of time to see our pictures. I could go on and on but at the end of the day you are getting more than just a photographer when you hire K Herman Photography. Because of our experience with her and her team, we will without a doubt be using Kristina for all family photos we need going forward!

We booked with Kristina for our engagement and wedding photos and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! We had no experience getting our pictures taken professionally, but Kristina (and Vanessa) made us feel comfortable and gave us great instructions on how to pose.
