Paul at Kafe 421, guided us through every stage of the catering process, so that when the big day came there were zero surprises and everything ran like absolute clockwork. Everyone loved the food (especially the Harvest Salad), and no body felt that service was not prompt and courteous. Thank you so much, Paul and all the Kafe 421 staff who made what could have been an incredibly stressful event, a worry-free, fun, AND DELICIOUS celebration of our love.

pleased! Paul was very communicative and fantastic to work with during the planning stages. The event staff for the evening were also very professional, kind, and responsive. They definitely took care of us throughout the night and were often checking in with us and making sure we took time to eat. We can't even count the number of compliments we continue to receive from our guests (many months later!) on how delicious the food was, the variety and uniqueness of our options, and the presentation. All of the details from the planning, to the service, and the food were perfect and very much appreciated for making our night so special. We can only give 5 stars, but if we could it would be 10 stars all around!

y, communicative, and very easy to work with. The food is our absolute favorite especially the meatballs and skewers. In the past, we have used other caterers but the meat was always dry but Kafe 421 knows how to marinate and make it very juicy and flavorful! We always received compliments on how the delicious the food is from our guests. We were sadden when the restaurant shut down because that was our favorite place to take our guests for lunch but we're so happy that they're able to cater for our events.

But most of all the food was amazing! Lots of raves from our guests. I particularly recommend the herb roasted chicken, the vegetable and chickpea curry, the Greek meatball appetizer... but they have lots of options to choose from, and I expect that they're all great. Since Kafe 421 is so popular, we were not able to have the food delivered or served, but it still worked out great to pick the food up. They did a careful job of describing how we should use the chafing dishes, and that worked out very well. I will absolutely order food from them again for future events, and I believe many of my guests will as well.

She answered all of our questions in person, and she and Antigoni both communicated with us as much as we needed throughout our year of wedding planning from afar. On the day of the wedding, we had an outdoor cocktail hour and tented reception with over 200 guests and we couldn't have been happier with the catering. The owner of the wedding venue also raved about Georgia's professionalism, gorgeous preparation and layout, and efficiency in planning (ex: our buffet was run seamlessly and so quickly, even the guests commented on it!). Our guests also made endless comments about the high quality, fresh, innovative food and many people said "best wedding food ever." We very highly recommend Kafe 421's catering (and restaurant in Dinkytown!).
