Hiring Kali was one of the best decisions that we made. Firstly, she is incredibly organized. She has an entire website and client portal, where after your first meeting/appointment, she has you fill out a lengthy questionnaire so that she can get a full understanding of your vision, the style of photography/editing you're looking for, and which parts of your wedding that you want emphasized in the photography/videography. Secondly, she is incredibly knowledgeable. Not only does she clearly have a great handle on general wedding photography, but she has experience in different kinds of wedding ceremonies. Our wedding was held in a Catholic church. We had a traditional Catholic wedding mass. Kali had already shot weddings in Catholic churches before, so she had a good idea as to what to focus on, the order of the mass, and where to be (and not to be). Thirdly, Kali and her husband are soooo relatable. They are intelligent and professional, but they retain a level of relatability with their clients. They're also incredibly funny. It was such a pleasure having them shoot for us on our wedding day. They are such great people and truly care about the work that they do. Lastly, we only got the sneak peeks back and they are PERFECT. They are way better than we could have imagined or expected. The attention-to-detail that Kali puts into her work does not go unnoticed. I am obsessed with the pictures thus far and cannot wait for the full album! We are also really looking forward to the wedding video. My husband and I are extremely awkward camera shy people. We generally avoid pictures at all costs! We knew that we wanted to capture our special day, but honestly I was so nervous about how Id look-especially if there were tons of posed fabricated pictures involved. Hiring Kali was the best decision. Not only is Kali’s work exceptionally beautiful ART but she is so kind and relaxed-definitely the energy I needed! She reassured us every step of the way and never pressured us. She made gentle recommendations and helped us angle ourselves but I was never pushed to that “get me outta here” feeling I typically have with photos. She truly captured all the emotion of the day you can see the joy and love shining through in each picture. My favorites were the candid shots of us and all of our guests. She was never imposing just a calm presence floating around covertly memorializing our day in the most magical way. We had the honor of working with Kali and Tyler for several photo sessions and most recently our wedding. They took care of videography and our photography for our big day and they were a PLEASURE work with. Not only are they super professional, they’re extremely friendly and truly had fun with us on our day. I have only got our sneak peeks so far and they have blown me away. Kali also did our engagement and maternity shoot, and the photos she captured are timeless, and she truly puts effort into each individual photo for editing. Kali and Tyler were so amazing to work with from the start. We knew we wanted them as part of our wedding vendor team as photographer and videographer after we first reached out 2 years in advance before our wedding. Our first interaction with Kali we knew she was so bubbly, kind, and very passionate about what she does. She communicated with from start to end and was always very responsive. We were both even more excited for her to shoot wedding day after she made us feel so comfortable during out engagement session. She was very professional and helped us create our wedding day timeline, which she helped keep us on schedule. Our friends and family kept telling us how great Kali and Tyler were while they were at the wedding capturing so many moments. She sent us some photos already and we are completely OBSESSED with how they turned out. We can't believe they are just the sneak peeks! Kali and Tyler are the absolute sweetest and most professional people!! We booked them for our destination micro-wedding in Sedona, Arizona and never actually got to meet them until the day of the wedding, but I already felt like I knew them beforehand. Kali made sure to give us a call every few months to touch base on the schedule and to get to know us. She even made our wedding timeline which was an absolute lifesaver considering our venue did not have a coordinator. From the moment they arrived on wedding day, they took the stress of the day right out of my hands and got to work coordinating everyone for pictures and helping the timeline run smoothly. At one point I couldn’t find my Bobby pins for my hairpiece, but Tyler heard the conversation and came running up with some Bobby pins he found lying around. The day literally would not have existed the way it did without them! We also asked the big task of leaving our venue and driving about 45 minutes away for sunset photos of my husband and I on Bell Rock, and Kali and Tyler stepped right up to the plate and were the best travel buddies for the drive there and back. Kali is the go to queen for making sure that dress train looks perfect and getting all the best poses and shots, and Tyler was the boss for getting all of my crazy family together for pictures. Our sneak peaks were absolutely stunning. I couldn’t believe the love we were feeling on that day showed so clearly in their shots. I cannot wait to see the rest of our photos and our video. You will absolutely not be disappointed if you choose Kali and Tyler for your wedding, if there’s even a choice that can rival them. We loved our time with them so much!!!

Words truly can not express how grateful we are to have had the absolute privilege of having Kali and Tyler as our photographer/videographer for our wedding in May. From our first inquiry about wedding packages to receiving our full album and video, they were an absolute delight to work with. A few days after her passing, I reached out to Kali to let her know what had happened and to inquire if they happened to have any additional photos of her. Upon receiving and opening our completed gallery, I was immediately brought to tears when the first photos I saw were a handful of extra photos of me and my grandmother. I will truly treasure these photos forever and couldn’t be more grateful to Kali for taking the extra time to locate and send these extra photos. Kali and her husband Tyler are some of my favorite people in the world and also extremely talented wedding photographers and videographers !!! Kali and Tyler shot my husband and I’s wedding film this past weekend and did such an incredible job. I know whatever film we get is going to be the BEST ever, not only because they are the best out there but they also navigated our wedding day so professionally and captured it all!!! My friends and family could not stop talking about how amazing our photo and video team was on our big day. So amazing! We used her and she brought along a second photographer. We also opted for the videographer. They were all so excellent and we had so much fun with all of them. I feel bad for the second photographer because she was stuck with the boys getting ready. They were all so professional but also laid back and super easy to work with.

We had the pleasure of having Kali as our wedding photographer. She stuck with us through having to postpone our wedding from May 2020 to December 2021 and we can't thank her enough for that! We love how her photos captured natural and authentic moments. She is also super cool and chill and will put people who don't like to take photos at ease!

We LOVE Kali! We just got our wedding photos a few days ago and I could not wait to review our experience! Our photos are INSANE. Our photos make us feel beautiful, are full of emotion & love, and bring us right back into the moment. Working with Kali as our wedding photographer was easily one of the best decisions we made for our big day! Her photographs speak for themselves; she is incredibly talented. From the moment we started working with Kali, she was extremely helpful and supportive. We had an epic engagement session where Kali was literally thigh deep in water to capture us and we had a blast hiking out of the location. Only a few weeks before our big day, Kali was ready to pivot, quickly had a list of her availability for the rest of the year and re-booked on our new date. Kali actually drove all the way out to our new venue a few days before to meet our coordinator and check out the best places for pictures! Kali always made me feel like we were important and that she would go above and beyond to make our day special. She created a seamless timeline for the whole day, FaceTimed me when I got stressed, and always offered pro tips. My husband and I truly consider Kali and Tyler our friends and we feel so lucky to have worked with them. We will certainly be using Kali for all of our future photography needs and so should you. Where do I even start?! Kali is honestly one of the most talented photographers I've ever worked with. She has an eye for detail and every single photo she captures is intentional. When she sent us some sneak peaks I started tearing up because each photo had so much emotion to it. Before I go any further I would like to add that for me, finding the right photographer was the most important thing to me and Kali really stood out. Not only are her photos on IG AMAZING but once I viewed her full galleries and saw how each photo (even the candid ones) looked raw/beautiful I was hooked. It was important to me to not just have incredible bride and groom portraits but for the entire day to be beautifully captured and she did that. After interviewing her we thought Kali was SO sweet and I knew right away I wanted her to capture our day. I love that she includes a second photographer because you get different angles that normally you wouldn't get to see. She was also very professional, detailed, organized and accommodating. We got married in Sedona so on our wedding day my husband and I were getting ready at two different locations with a few hiccups that occured and Kali was patient, kind and reassuring that everything was going just fine. After our ceremony I wanted to take our portraits at Bell Rock and Kali was totally on board and had the perfect location in mind. We honestly had so much fun with her and can't wait to do future shoots with her. Best investment we made was hiring Kali to capture our day.

I don't even know where to start. Kali.is.AMAZING! Finding a photographer to fit my wedding day expectations was going to be no easy task. I had browsed through a handful of photographers but no one's work really jumped out at me. Then, back in December, a friend tagged me in one of Kali's facebook giveaways. Though I didn't win, I was absolutely captivated by her style of photography and knew I had to act fast because she is in such demand! I reached out to her right away and she answered any questions I had. I booked her as soon as possible to make sure we had her for our big day. Her packages offered SO much for your money and I was so excited to see her work her magic. When we first met with her for engagement pictures, I could tell right away we were going to have a blast. She made us feel SO at ease. We hiked to the top of Cathedral Rock and it was one of the most fun experiences we've ever had. And when we received those pictures back, I was absolutely shocked. They were GORGEOUS. She made us look like models. I was blown away and could not wait to have her for our wedding day. I worked with her on specific requests for pictures and how I wanted the timeline to flow and she absolutely nailed it. On the day of the wedding she was accompanied by one of her close friends and fellow photographers, Bailey, and this was also a huge selling point for me. Having two photographers on the day of the wedding is so awesome because they can be two places at once. They were both absolutely amazing. She was able to capture every single special moment we had throughout the day and all of the little moments in between. When it came time for bridal party and family portraits, they had it down to a science. We ended up being WAY ahead of schedule and that's every bride's dream on her wedding day. I cannot wait to see how our wedding photos turned out but I have no doubt they will exceed every expectation we could have had. Kali is the best!! She helped our awkward selves take some stunning photos. I have to admit that while we were prancing around a desert I wasn’t so sure how I would feel about the outcome. BUT Kali is a miracle worker and turned out awkward laughs into works of art! We are forever grateful that we had an opportunity to work with her and we will spend forever staring at these photos. Finding a photographer was the first thing on my “to do” list when we started planning our wedding. I was so worried that, even though our wedding was 18 months away, a photographer would book up. I scoured the recommended photographers from my venue, looked all over Instagram and asked a couple married friends who they had used. However, after a lot of emailing and uncertainty, I was lost. That was until I found Kali’s Instagram page. I loved the candidness of her shots, the editing was more up my alley (I am not a fan of photos that looks so bright and almost washed out), and she had a lot of variety. What sold me was her website. She had a FAQ page and I remember one of the answers being a “The Office” reference. I asked to meet her with my husband. The meeting was fantastic. She was so incredibly sweet, answered our questions, and showed us more of her photography. We booked as soon as we could. From then on she was fantastic. We did an engagement session in Flagstaff where she went above and beyond. She spent more time with us than was required and let us put on so many outfits. I couldn’t believe how quickly she got the sneak peeks back to us. Then the full gallery came in no time. She captured us perfectly with lots of laughter shots. We never felt awkward or unsure. She would just give us something to say or do and capture the moment. Our wedding was the same story. She let me know what to have for detail shots and went over a timeline with me beforehand. She showed up on time, was super sweet to all of my bridesmaids, and made us feel comfortable. Her second shooter was amazing as well. They both were professional and knew how to direct everyone for pictures. Everything went so smoothly. At the end of the night my husband said he wanted pictures with each guest and Kali had no problem just rapid shooting a bunch of photos of us with everyone person . We ended the night with a huge group shot and said our goodbyes. By the next day she had sent me three sneak peeks, a couple GIFs (the coolest thing I’ve seen) and a photo. I was able to post them in IG to let everyone see little snippets. Wasn’t long before she gave us another sneak peek, this time of a couple hundred photos. And after only a few weeks we got our entire gallery! When I tell you how overjoyed we were with our photos, that’s an understatement. So many great pictures. It helped me remember our day and also how beautiful everything turned out. So basically, hire this girl. ASAP. She was such a joy and I can’t recommend her enough. We did a bridal shoot a couple days ago just because I wanted even more photos. So happy I found her. I have pictures that’ll last a lifetime but also a friendship. Thank you Kali. You’re the best.

KALI IS SIMPLY AMAZING! We got our wedding album and sneak peek pictures in very quickly. Working with her was very personal, she was there to answer any questions or give any advice. I highly recommend her for wedding photography and engagement sessions. We have had so many compliments on how beautiful our pictures turned out and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Kali is simply the best! I found her on Instagram on my feed a couple years ago and before my now husband and I were engaged, I just knew I was going to use her for our wedding! She did our engagement shoot and we were in LOVE!! On our special day, it ended up being a rainy one and Kali brought umbrellas for us which totally came in handy! She made us feel so comfortable and confident which was one reason I was so calm at our wedding. Her positivity radiates and fills the whole room. Kali should get a 20 star rating, but it only goes to 5 ;)

5 stars but I would give 10 if it was an option. Kali’s vision is none like other. She has this great capacity to encourage you to let loose and have a great time. She’s so great to work with and we feel that we gained a great friend in the process. Her love for her art shows as soon as you receive your photos. Timeless and beautifully done. I can go on and on about how great she is but you will need to book her to experience it yourself! We want her for all the big occasions in our life and we will surely make her a part of it too!

This is the first review I have ever felt compelled to write. My wife and I came across Kali's work while in search of a wedding photographer, and we were not only struck by the contrast between her and other vendors, but also the quality of her art - how mood is captured in addition to aesthetics. Years down the road, the the feelings that her pictures evoke add so much more power to the memory than any other pictures of us. The value of this effect should not be underestimated. Over two years, we have made three trips from Chicago to AZ, expressly to have Kali capture our most important moments. We will continue to try to find a place in, what we are sure, will become an increasingly competitive schedule.

Kali is amazing! We booked an engagement session at Cathedral Rock in Sedona after we found her online and loved her editing style. Kali instantly made us feel comfortable and relaxed, like we were just friends going on a hike. The photos are stunning and feel genuine and candid. When selecting a photographer it truly is daunting! We consider ourselves extremely lucky for Kali! I knew she was the one not only from her artistic and totally candid style of photographs I found on her website but her complete realness! I felt beyond connected to her on a friendship level and I knew that it would be a perfect match! She is extremely fun to third wheel and capture all the steamy love that my hubby and I have for each other which brings tears to my eyes! Every photo I look back on from her of us I can feel the joy in that moment she captured and I get to hold onto those for life and share with our kids someday! Now THAT is worth every penny! From our first communication a year and a half in advance of the big day, to the very last photo we took on our wedding night - Kali is one in a million. We booked Kali for our engagement session when we went to Arizona for a trip. Kali was so easy to get in touch with and was so nice when we met her. She was very punctual and made us feel comfortable doing a shoot where there were other people around (we picked Horseshoe Bend). After our shoot, she edited a few images that day and sent them to us and we were so in LOVE with her work. She was also super efficient with getting all the images to us in a short time frame. We’re so glad we had her for our photographer and literally all our friends and family keep complimenting us on how good our pictures came out. Thank you Kali!!

Our photos are freaking INCREDIBLE!!!!! My husband and I love every single one of them! Kali made us feel so comfortable and captured our personalities beautifully!!! All our photos seemed so natural and we felt natural taking them! Working with Kali was effortless and fun. We were rained on during our shoot, but Kali was able to capture the loving simple moments in a fun way despite the weather conditions. Her work is beautiful and her passion for photography is undeniable.

After looking for more than 3 weeks for the perfect photographer for our engagement pictures, we found Kali and immediately knew she was the one!. We reached out to her and planned out trip from Miami to Sedona, and trust me when I say everything was magical! the pictures came out soooo good, we are still in awe every time we look at them. Kali did such an amazing job with our wedding photos! We can't possibly praise her enough. Shortly after starting our engagement session (also our first time meeting her in person) we were confident that we had made the right choice! I've spent hours going over our photos from the engagements, wedding, and bride + groom session trying to find my favorite photos - there were we so many amazing moments captured and too difficult to narrow down. Kali was incredible and the photos were exactly what we were hoping - airy, artistic, and with a natural quality which I can only credit to not only her talent but her friendly direction and down to earth attitude. Planning a wedding is hard, if you’re on this page you are probably in the early stages and not sure where to start. Booking the right vendors will make your life so much easier during the planning. From the beginning Kali was amazing! She responded quickly and has an easy going personality. Since I had never planned a wedding before, the reoccurring stressor was having no idea what I was doing and bunch of little questions you don’t think about until it comes up (I.e. where to get ready, day of timelines, what to wear in engagement photos, etc). She was amazingly thoughtful by sending out information sheets that answer all the little unknowns at the perfect time during the process. Plus her work is absolutely stunning, I am still getting compliments from my engagement photos, but you can see that from looking through her portfolio. I want to stress how humble, genuine and passionate this girl is. Having wonderful wedding photos is the goal but it makes it much more memorable when you can look back a remember how much you enjoyed having a specific vendor take part in your big day. Kali exceeded my expectations at every turn!

Kali M Photos was amazing! I interviewed a number of different photographers for my big day and I am extremely happy that I went with Kali. She was incredible from the start. I get nervous talking to people on the phone, she was very polite, friendly, reassuring, and calming. I had to cancel our engagement photo session an hour before we were due to start due to an emergency with my dog. I was fully expecting to have to pay for another session as I had given such little notice. However, Kali was amazing and understanding and rescheduled us for the following week at no extra cost. When we met with her for the engagement pictures, she made us feel comfortable and we were able to forget that we were having our picture taken. She even checked with us to make sure that our puppy was feeling better. The pictures came back and they were amazing and filled with colour, despite my dark black and red colour scheme. We looked natural in the pictures instead of posed, and I became very excited for my wedding pictures. After the big day, the pictures are the most important momento. My husband hates having his picture taken and was dreading having to spend hours taking pictures at the wedding. However, Kali made it a seamless process. He even said after the wedding "the pictures were way easier than I was expecting, I'm actually really excited to see how they come out." After the engagement pictures, I was expecting a lot. However, I was blown away with how amazing the pictures came out. They are absolutely stunning. They perfectly captured the day. I am in the process of decorating my house with them, and a lot of wedding guests have asked me to send them high definition electronic copies of the pictures of them so they can put them up in their homes. Kali captured everyone in a beautiful light and everyone loves the pictures.

Kali was absolutely wonderful to work with! She captured all of our intimate moments throughout the day. She was amazing at being able to get natural pictures of everyone with out it looking posed, it just showed our personalities through in the pictures! I couldn't imagine having anyone else take our pictures after seeing what an incredible job she did on our wedding! When I show our friends pictures from our wedding everyone is shocked at how well done every single one is! There wasn't one that we didn't like. Not only is super talented behind the camera, but she has this calming energy that makes you feel so comfortable in front of it! My husband can be super awkward in front of the camera, and she knew exactly how to direct him to make him look like Tom Hardy in GQ. All joking aside, my whole wedding was falling a part (hire a good TRUSTING coordinator ladies) and Kali was right there to save the day. She jumped right in with my mom when my day was falling apart and made sure every detail was perfect for my big day. She captured every moment I asked for and more. She even guided me in making decisions on different types of photos. She also works quick (which i instructed her to, cause like reception party, right?!) and the photos look like she had us in the forest for HOURS. I’m really particular about the kind of photos I like. I wanted very in the moment and very few posed photos. She NAILED IT. She captured the intimate moments of me with my dad and even more perfect moments between my husband and I. Everyone at my wedding LOVED her. Like i said at the beginning: HIRE THIS LADY!

Kali is the best photographer! Me and my husband are so blessed that she was not only apart of our big day, but truly captured our memories to last a lifetime. I stumbled upon her Instagram and saw that she was doing Christmas package giveaways and as someone who has never even tried to win something via Instagram, I decided to give it a try. We didn’t have a big wedding budget and we were needing to pull the trigger on a photographer... I went with my gut and submitted our story along with some pictures. I was so overwhelmed and surprised when she contacted me a few weeks later. I was overcome with emotion as she told me that we had won her services for our big day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I was a bit nervous since we had never met in person. On the day of our wedding Kali was sooo freaking amazing. All of our wedding party, family and guests commented on how lovely and helpful she was. Not only did Kali capture our wedding through her brilliant photography but she made us feel so special. Kali’s photographic creativity, and her ‘eye’ for turning a simple photo into a beautiful memory are truly gifts that we will treasure for ever. My husband and I aren’t the most photogenic couple, but Kali was able to make us feel so comfortable. Our day after shoot was up at Piney Lake in Vail, Colorado. Prior to our shoot, Piney Lake had only been a very special and intimate place in my heart- but thanks to Kali, it is also now so special to my husband. The day after shoot was a blast, and was the perfect end to our amazing wedding weekend. We can’t thank her enough for providing us with this most precious wedding gift. She was amazing. We made her off road with us for 40 minutes, hike a mile up hill to go to this amazing location but it was beyond worth it. Not only did we have an absolute blast during the shoot but the photos turned out amazing. Love love love her work!!
