If you're looking for the most seamless photographer (who isn't afraid to tell your grandpa or grandma to get in frame), and mountains of well-edited photos, Katy Davis and co. are your go to. No regrets. And thanks, Katy, for decorating the walls of our home with cherished memories and moments!

f knowing what to do. It rained on our wedding day and we had to move everything inside. And our photos are AMAZING! Our day would not have been as fun or as positive as it had been without Katy there! She did wonderful work and my husband and I could not be happier with our wedding photos! We can't wait to work with her again.

ctures turned out well. The wedding was a completely different and disappointing experience. Most pictures turned out well but there was a severe lack of professionalism on our day and in the communication following the wedding. Our wedding was about myself and my bride. Not our families, not our friends, not the photographer, not the venue. It was Lacy and I’s day. Once Lacy and I kissed and walked down the aisle, we immediately went into this side room just her and I. We hadn’t seen each other/ communicated since the night previously, so this was a special moment for just us. Not 15 secs in that room, the door flew open and Katy came in fuming mad about an argument between her and our coordinator. She spewed her anger for a bit, (we looked at each other in surprise during her tirade), before I cut her off and asked, “Uh, can you give us a minute please?” That especially sticks out more than her arriving an hour late, arguing with me about post-ceremony plans, her not getting much of what was on our shot list and her taking random posed shots of couples she knew. When Katy burst through that door to rant, it showed that she was more important than the two people who literally just walked down the aisle together, married for not more than a minute. It was insensitive, tactless and unprofessional. We got about 1/2 our pics when we returned from our honeymoon, which was great. But after a month of silence, I reached out to get the video files that I’m editing and I asked about the rest of the pictures. She said “Well they are done, I just need to export them. I was exporting them but my computer started updating itself halfway through exporting them. You’ll have them in the next couple days.” 100 percent fair. But the next two weeks, she told us five times that we would have the pics by a certain time and date, yet no pics. She cited slow internet/wifi on nearly each text, yet had no issue uploading 15 GBs of video files that she had failed to give me. Her saying that she had no internet/poor wifi was her stating that they weren't done. When we finally got our pictures, many were missing that we knew was taken, such as those with Lacy’s bridemaids, us and our family (my sister and I, all our family, my 84-year old grandpa from SC). Yet we had three posed pics of people she knew, 23 pics of shoes and poor quality family pics with our parents. She continuously got annoyed with us asking for these missing pics before finally saying, “I literally had to scrape the bottom of the barrel for them.” She doesn’t guarantee images per her contract that she liked to mention. But why did we make a shot list? Why were there 23 pictures of shoes but many omitted family pictures? This was our experience w/ Katy, good pics but a severe lack of professionalism. Two weeks isn’t long, but it’s the principle of getting strung along and lied to. Don't insult our intelligence and give us the run around when it is clear that you just haven’t done your job. As a business owner, when you say you are going to do something, that you’ve been paid upfront to do, then you should. She made sure the contract was signed and our money was paid on time. Yet when it came to her staying true to her word, she yanked us around like we were stupid. We gladly won’t work with her again.

we had so much fun! Katy's personality is outgoing and makes you feel so comfortable and natural. Her pictures are flawless and she is very reasonably priced for A+ quality. You really are with your photographer ALL day so make sure you meet them and get along with their personality. I would highly recommend Katy to anyone looking for a fun, professional, bubbly photographer who will even do the wobble with you!
