KayBay Entertainment was amazing for our wedding! The communication leading up to the event was very professional and detailed so we knew the ins and outs of how the day would run. Casey sent over an in-depth document to fill out beforehand which made us feel confident that the day would run smoothly and the music would be a reflection of what we enjoy. We specifically requested a DJ who had previously worked at our venue and they were able to accommodate. We had Vanessa as our DJ and she was INCREDIBLE! The music and MC'ing throughout the day was perfect. The dance floor was full all night and we received multiple comments on how great our DJ was at the end of the event. We would definitely recommend hiring KayBay for your next event!

On the night, our assigned DJ Casey Ottman nailed our grand entrance, formal dances, and must-play list, and kept the dance floor energized all evening. His energy level was exactly right, not overwhelming but never flat. One hiccup: the hand mic wasn't functioning during the ceremony, so we only had the lapel mic on our officiant, which made it a little hard for guests to hear us. It didn't derail anything, but worth noting for future couples to double-check mic setup beforehand. Overall a great experience and we'd recommend him.

We don’t just hit play on a playlist — all of our DJs are seasoned performers and MCs with decades of experience in the Colorado music scene. We know how to read a crowd, keep the energy flowing, make creative transitions, and step in at the right moments to make sure the dance floor stays packed.
Unlike some big DJ companies, we don’t send a stranger to DJ your wedding — we work with you from day one. You’ll meet your DJ ahead of time and know exactly who’s running the show on the big day.
Our DJs are talented musicians and music lovers, but we aren’t music snobs. It’s your day, and we’re here to nail your vision.

o ensure our whole day was exactly what we wanted, down to small details such as dressing similar to our guests. Our ceremony microphones were on point, even with the live band we had playing. During dinner, music was perfectly balanced in the space. When it came to dance music, we asked for a wide variety of genres, from country to funk, pop, and k-pop. Casey did an absolutely amazing job with his lineup and getting our guests with different music tastes coming back to the dance floor again and again. He was also great at rolling with the punches. We made some last-minute changes in the schedule and Casey executed them flawlessly. After the night ended, we had many guests who came up to us and complimented Casey on his DJ skills. We were blown away by Casey and highly recommend KayBay Entertainment for any DJing needs!

He skipped all the cheesy commentary that you hear DJs do at wedding and kept it laid back and fun. Casey played music that got people of all ages and tastes out and didn't miss once. He made the entire event stress free and most of all fun. We would recommend his services to anyone in the Denver area!

put in any requests, details of the wedding, timelines etc, and then had another call with him a week before the wedding to go over all the details. If we had wanted more communication, we could have had it, but this was perfect for us. He played all of our requests, was super attentive, and receptive if we wanted to change anything last minute (which we did!). He made us feel calm and in good hands the whole time. We also used the photo booth through KayBay and that was also awesome! It was a great addition to our day. Would definitely recommend!

o over our wishes for the wedding day and night. He understood exactly what we were hoping for.
On the day of the wedding, he was able to think fast and catch some possible fires before they even started. For example, I had a lot of family walk down the isle and our song finished before everyone sat down. He immediately looped the song back and no one was the wiser.
I also wanted the dance floor to be lively all night long. Casey played the perfect music to get everyone dancing and to keep them on the floor. We cannot recommend him enough!

On wedding day, he showed up early, super prepared, helped us with cables for my two guitarists (also friends of ours). He mic'ed up the officiant, and our guests had no problems hearing our vows. And most importantly, our dance floor was NON FRICKEN STOP. Just so much fun all night. Everyone commented on how killer the vibe and the dance floor was. Thank you Casey, you absolutely killed it!

to fill out with all of the information about our wedding (must play songs, do not play songs, scheduling, names of important people, etc.). He was extremely thorough and then a few weeks before our wedding, we met with him again to let him know exact details and give him the final vibe that we wanted for our songs. He absolutely NAILED it. Everyone was up and dancing the whole wedding and he played exactly the types of songs we said we wanted. He was also extremely professional and massively helpful with keeping our schedule on track. He was on time and brought everything he needed to set up, including cool lights, great speakers and subwoofer, and his own table. I would DEFINITELY recommend Casey and would absolutely use him again for another event in the future.
