King River Ranch

King River Ranch is WONDERFUL!! The site is absolutely gorgeous, has everything needed for day-of and overnight accommodations, and the staff is AMAZING! Seriously, I would change nothing. Amy's coordination left nothing to be desired; she is super organized and so easy to work with! I felt so lost when I started, and she made the process so easy! The hair & makeup/dressing area for the girls is awesome and has a nice calming view of the river. The guys' area is very comfortable, as well, with plenty of stuff to entertain them throughout the day. Wish I could relive the day there over and over again!!

I am so happy that we had our wedding at King River Ranch. It was absolutely perfect. Amy was amazing and helpful all the way, and the location could not have been more beautiful. First of all, it made such a different to be able to stay at the ranch for the two days leading up to the wedding. We were able to do most of the decorating before the rehearsal, and for a DIY couple like us, having the extra time made our actual wedding day stress-free. We were also able to enjoy some really special time with friends and family who came from far away by having the extra time there. The ceremony space was beautiful - all our guests had something positive to say about the beautiful grounds. The barn was beautiful and spacious, and overall we couldn’t have been happier with how the day went. The last comment I have is about the awesome animals at the ranch! If you love animals, consider have your wedding day here. Our families and friends’ kids loved feeding the goats, horses, and ponies, and we got some great wedding photos with Cooper, the white horse. Choose King River Ranch for your wedding - you won’t be disappointed!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at KRR! Every detail was seamlessly taken care of along the way by Amy Crowson, our wedding planner. The accommodations suited us perfectly - the main house was a wonderful place for our bridal party to stay. We loved being able to stay on the property. It made the day so much easier. The bridal suite was a perfect place for the bridesmaids and bride to get ready. We loved being able to see the beautiful scenery while we were getting ready! And the honeymoon suite was perfect as well! I would highly recommend KRR and Amy!

I am SO HAPPY that we went with this venue! From start to finish they made it enjoyable, easy , and they made sure every detail got done. The outdoor ceremony area is absolutely beautiful and we had the venue from Thursday - Sunday @ 11 AM to set up and tear down which is incredible. There was enough room for me and all of my girls to sleep there and get ready and an area for the guys with a TV and Little bar area too. They also have an adorable makeup and hair studio that the hair and makeup team loved using. The animals there are so cute and make it so much fun! I loved all the staff and they made it go so perfectly!

This place was my dream! I only looked at this venue and was sold!! The staff there is great and they did a magnificent job! It’s a bonus that the house is one site....which is also huge and beautiful. Annnnnd the new honeymoon suite is dreamy and so comfortable! I couldn’t have found a better place!!!!

If I could plan and have my wedding all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. KRR made for the perfect venue. The staff, especially courteous and loving, are what ultimately made the experience so genuine. Amy, bless her beautiful soul, took up a bulk of the coordination with us pre-wedding and was always responsive and understanding of our vision. When we asked to do the never-before and bring food trucks onto the ranch, she even didn't bat an eye. I cannot sing higher praises for this woman and the work she does to make sure you have a beautiful, stress-free wedding day. The venue itself supported my big family (both in bed count, and fun), and served as a green and full backdrop for our special ceremony. The care that's been taken with the venue itself is extraordinary - full kitchen, bride and groom getting-ready areas, beds, tasteful accents around the house, and the steadiest of hands guiding it to success. I cannot recommend this venue, or the staff, highly enough.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about KRR!! From the moment I saw it, I knew it was the perfect venue for me to live out my childhood dreams of getting married on a ranch in Texas. Our wedding far exceeded our expectations. The ceremony site is absolutely stunning- I'll always remember the view of the river and the sun shining down on the trees as my husband and I shared our vows. The day was dark, cloudy, and windy, but as soon as I walked down the aisle, the clouds parted the sun came out. It was truly magical. David did an amazing job with my flowers and the decor, Willhem and Aidan were so helpful, and Amy was the best coordinator I could have asked for. All of our friends and family were amazed by the beauty of the scenery and the gorgeous barn. King River Ranch will always be a special place to me and I can't recommend it enough!

This is such a gorgeous setting! The guests loved it and the photos were absolutely stunning! I highly recommend this venue, along with David as florist (Willem-Aidan) and Amy as coordinator (Avenue Q). We had a wonderful wedding due to their talents and skills in taking advantage of the natural beauty at KRR.

To put it simply, King River Ranch will make your Texan/ranch wedding fairy tale come true. My husband and I visited numerous ranches in the Texas Hill Country to find the perfect venue for the day we say "I do". When we arrived at KRR, David was so welcoming and friendly we were immediately comfortable and couldn't wait to hear details and take our tour. Words cannot describe how wonderful the team is at this venue and how their attention to detail is truly just impeccable. The venue is designed for the perfect wedding from how the ceremony site faces the river for the perfect sunset behind you while you say your vows, to the absolutely breath taking bridal suite and lounge for the day-of rituals, not to mention your reception will feel like something out of a bridal magazine with how beautifully ornate its designs are even before your florals and decor. David and his two sons did all of our florals and decor; I don't know how else to describe it other than magical. We had also hired Amy from Avenue Q Consulting out of KRR as our wedding coordinator and we couldn't have made a better decision. She knows the venue like the back of her hand, and is not only the sweetest person you'll get to know, but she is ALWAYS on her game with vendors. Amy will keep your mind at ease and keep you calm for your big day! KRR will accomodate to your every need and make you feel like you aren't just getting married there but that you've become part of their family. Our guests are still talking about how incredible and beautiful our wedding was and it's all because of the team at King River Ranch. Now that KRR has lodging on site (it wasn't quite ready for our wedding), I know my husband and I want to gather up some friends and stay there for another weekend to enjoy the scenery/wine country and get to see Amy again! Couldn't recommend King River Ranch enough, it will just make all of your dreams come true for your perfect wedding day.

One step on this property and you will not have to visit another one! Our guests were treated to a party to remember and KRR provided the perfect backdrop for that. We loved the various settings that King River Ranch provided. Also, David and the staff worked with us to make our vision come to life. We even requested to use the River Terrace in a way they had never done before and they pulled off the event without a hitch. Every detail was covered and we simply showed up to a perfectly designed venue. I doubt you will find another vendor in the area that will provide such a premium experience and look for your party.

David and his sons did an amazing job! I hired not only the venue but had David create the florals as well. It was the best money spent and all on site. We had just given our other daughter a wedding 6 months before at a different venue and the difference in the "hands-on, over-&-beyond" service was obvious. You can tell David genuinely enjoys pleasing the couple & creating a wonderful celebration! Only negative I heard from the guest were the women getting their heels stuck between the boards of the walkway between the outdoor wedding area and reception barn. Fixable issue.

David, Amy and team were a dream to work with. Their patience, attention to detail and vision made our special day the best of our lives. Our guests came from all over the country and various others and were blown away by the beauty of King River Ranch. The process from start to finish was easy and swift. David's decor was magical. Trust him and his vision and you will not be sorry!!! I wish we could do it all over again just to soak it in. It's the best place in Texas Hill Country for a stunning wedding with a team that is just delightful, excellent and professional.

Beautiful. Breathtaking. Amazing. Perfect. My son and his wife chose this venue for their April 2018 wedding. Cannot say enough about how perfect this facility was for their entire perfect day and especially how incredible the owners are, David Hahn and his son, Willem, who took care of us from the moment we toured to finish (to after finish!). From the amazingly spacious, comfortable and extremely functional and beautiful bride and groom rooms that made the entire day so special, to the spectacular ceremony site overlooking the river to that fantastic barn reception area, and the horses and goats and donkeys and wild flowers that provided all the beautiful outdoor ambiance - THERE IS NOT A BETTER PLACE IN TEXAS TO GET MARRIED!!!!

This venue was the most perfect venue and decorating company we could've asked for. Not only was David an absolute DREAM to work with, but he also gave us great professional advice and was a very kind soul down to his core. Thank you KRR for making our day the most special day!

This was, is, and always will be, without a doubt, the best venue I could ever imagine. When we first started wedding planning, we had a list of FORTY venues that we looked into, researched, stalked reviews for, and we ultimately ended up touring 8 venues. In our spreadsheet, we had a 'First Impressions' column, in which I wrote, for KRR, 'I LOVE THIS PLACE AND WANT TO MARRY IT!' Once I visited the ranch, I put down my Google machine, and said 'THIS IS IT.' I am from Texas, and my fiancé is from the East Coast, and we wanted a venue that was 'Texas' but also classy, and man-oh-man did KRR deliver. David Hahn is the dream venue owner; he will tell you that you will not be worrying about ANYTHING on your wedding day on their end, and you won't believe it, because HOW can that be real, and then the wedding day will come, and the only stress will be about the fact that your father, the father of the bride, somehow forgot to bring his pants to the wedding day (true story). I have no idea if anything went wrong on the day of our wedding, but believe me, if it did, it was immediately fixed and I was none the wiser. My family and friends could not stop gushing about the scenery, and I heard from more than one person that 'every picture [they] took with an iPhone looked like it belonged in a magazine'. I have so many amazing feelings about King River Ranch, and every single person who works there. If you have any questions about whether you should book here, please contact me. We visited KRR on the day of their first wedding. The venue is beyond perfect. We didn’t even look at any others because we knew that KRR was the one. We were married almost 2 years later. David and his sons were so gracious and made our day perfect! David was not just another vendor. He is now a part of our family. We are truly blessed to have found KRR. Our wedding day was beyond our expectations. David really carried out my vision and his entire team made the day so special. I don’t think I can ever thank them enough for making the whole experience so great.

Located off a well known Texas wine road dotted with award winning boutique wineries and vineyards, King River Ranch is the quintessential Texas Hill Country wedding venue! Situated on the Pedernales River our guests enjoyed a serene, rugged hill country vista from the ceremony terrace. In the quiet moments of our son and daughter-in-law's ceremony the whisper of the Pedernales could be heard running over the limestone riverbed. It was the perfect setting for their perfect beginning! If possible, we love the owner of KRR even more than the property itself! David is a beautiful soul and his family a delight! They were perfect hosts, a gift in itself, so welcoming, gracious and accommodating. We never felt our presence was an imposition or that we had to walk on eggshells. David was accessible and answered every question my son and daughter-in-law had leading up to their wedding in a timely, professional manner. This property and this family were made for each other! A better choice could not have been made for Stephanie and Addison's hill country wedding!

King river ranch was the first venue we saw and as soon as we left my now husband said “I don’t want to go anywhere else. That’s where we should get married.” From picking our date to the day of the wedding David and his team were the most outstanding, involved, and loving people we could have ever asked for. They made all of our dreams come true and made the wedding day the most relaxed beautiful day we’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and don’t look anywhere else. This ranch is where the magic happens.

We cannot even begin to explain how amazing it was to get married along the banks of the Perdenales. This venue floored us the moment we saw it and David and his family make you feel like family yourselves. Travelling from Dallas was difficult at times but Davis worked with us and was so accommodating. We could not have had a better experience. Our guests were wowed but the entire property and the magic that it holds. We cannot be happier to have gotten married here. David has something special here, he has a special place in our hearts and forever grateful that he was a part of our beginning. The ceremony area takes your breath away and the suites make you forget you are out in the country. The bridal suite is even equipped with a hair and makeup room! The barn however cannot be described. Its an amazing space.

David and his team do an absolute AMAZING job! David was so accommodating with time to be able to come see the venue, allow my parents and in laws to see the venue, bridals, rehearsal, etc. If you are a southern woman who likes the outdoors this place is for you!! The morning of our wedding my husband and the groomsmen all fished. They absolutely LOVED it!!

Magical, just magical!! It all began from the moment we visited with my mom and daughter to be wed, to the day she got married, just perfect! Mom gave her blessing and died shortly thereafter, but her presence with butterflies and hummingbirds the day of the wedding were felt. David, Willem, and Aidan and all of his staff made this day one to remember! They work so hard to make it special for each and every bride, and we felt that the week that we were there. I cannot begin to share with you how accommodating and kind David was and the wedding would not have been what it was without him and his staff. This place is unlike any other in the hill country! It has the most beautiful backdrop for the ceremony, the perfect setup for the bride and groom to get ready, and the most amazing barn for the reception!! 5 plus stars for this venue!!!! Wow! What an experience. I really don't know where to begin to rave about this venue. I only give it 5 stars because there are no more stars to give… This venue is simply incredible!! I cannot express how amazingly beautiful, breathtaking and magical this place is. We knew from the first moment we stepped onto the property that this was the place. The facilities, including the house on the property, reception barn, and ceremony location overlooking the Pedernales, are absolutely stunning. My husband and I were married at King River Ranch on 1/21/2017, and it was the perfect start to our marriage. The guests' minds were blown. Most importantly, David (Owner) is an absolute PRO. As I read through his reviews, I can see I’m not the only one who recognizes what a blessing and amazing talent he is. He made the planning process so simple, seamless and fun. He truly has a gift for turning your vision into reality and making your wedding dreams come true. I would highly recommend using David for your floral and event design – he is simply the best. So many of my guests raved about how beautiful the décor and floral arrangements were. I still get chills thinking of how amazing my ceremony site and reception looked…David somehow created an even better version of what I had always dreamed of. You can relax when you hire David because he never fails to deliver. I am proud and fortunate to have had the opportunity to get married at King River Ranch and to meet David and his sweet family. The wedding might be over but David will be a life-long friend!

OH MY GOODNESS!! We have so much to say about King River Ranch, so I'll just start from the beginning. When we were looking our venue, we looked at probably 15, picking up pieces of what we liked from each one. When we got to King River Ranch, we were blown away because it rolled all of what we envisioned together! The house to get ready in was ADORABLE and had a great space for both the guys and girls (so many venues lack a good space for the guys to get ready/hang out, but KRR didn't forget the guys!) The ceremony site was a DREAM! Beautiful field and river as the background, gorgeous stairway leading down. You won't need much decor as it is so naturally beautiful! The walk to the reception barn is surrounded by a field with sheep, mini donkeys, and horses! How fun! Then the barn, WOW! This barn is truly stunning and was the perfect space for us to enjoy our night with our family and friends. Our wedding was beautiful, all of our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the setting was! I cannot thank David and Willem enough for all of their help both during the planning process and the weekend of. David was so easy to communicate with and was quick to respond to all of our (many) emails. The team out at King River Ranch truly wants to make your wedding weekend special and memorable, and will work with you to make it incredible! Please go out and take a tour, you won't want to look anywhere else!

My husband and I could not be more thankful that we chose King River Ranch as our wedding venue. The space is absolutely gorgeous - pictures do not do it justice! David was so easy to work with - very organized, would answer any questions we had and met with us at the venue on multiple occasions prior to the wedding. We got married on April 1st and there were bluebonnets and other wildflowers on the premises - this definitely made for beautiful pictures for both us and our guests! David (Willem-Aiden) can also handle the flowers/decor on site - which makes everything run very smoothly. Also, his designs are amazing - you just have to tell him what you like and sit back and let him work his magic! On multiple occasions after the wedding people told me it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to - this was all thanks to David's very unique and inspiring designs! I would recommend David/the venue to anyone - thanks David!

King River Ranch, and David Hahn, the owner of the venue, made our wedding a real life fairytale dream come true! We fell in love with the venue when we toured it, it is such a beautiful location being right in the middle of the hill country! An extra special touch I loved, was the gorgeous spacious bridal lounge, and makeup/hair room! It was set up just like a salon, with special lighting and everything! We hired David for our floral/design as well, and it was just perfect. With him being the owner of the venue, it made it so much easier! David was with us every step of the way, and helped make our visions a reality of what we wanted, plus so much more on our special day! We could not be more thankful, or gracious! Our wedding felt like a fairytale, and looked like one too, and I cannot say enough great things about King River, and David!

We could not have chosen a more beautiful venue, and cannot say enough about our experience working with the owner David! One of our biggest priorities for the wedding weekend was creating an event where our friends and family could spend lots of time together, both relaxing and partying. King River Ranch was perfect for both. Although our wedding was in the evening, we had access to the site all day, and even used the house to host a casual bridesmaids' lunch. Having everything located at a single site made the day more stress-free, but we still had the benefit of so many different beautiful settings: the house for hanging out and getting ready (with separate sides for bride's and groom's parties), the riverfront terrace that we used for the ceremony, and of course the elegant and simple barn that we used for the reception. The site was also the perfect setting for our wedding portraits. The planning process was a joy with David. We used his company, Willem-Aidan, for florals and decoration. I have very strong opinions about what I like and don't, but was not able to express or define specifically what I wanted. David worked diligently to understand my preferences, and did an incredible job creating exactly the look and feel I had in mind but had been unable to articulate. He also had great ideas for cost-savings (like putting money into the centerpieces on the central long table but using very simple, small, and all green arrangements on the other tables). The result was magical! Warm, wild, intimate, casual and elegant all in one.

This venue is fabulous!! Romantic and rustic, secluded yet only a half hour drive to Fredericksburg. Many of our guests toured the wineries surrounding the venue and LOVED the whole experience. From the luxurious farmhouse to the riverside terrace to the intimate barn, KRR has it all!! David is wonderful to work with and is willing to be as involved or as hands-off as you desire. He was our florist, and his arrangements, from my bouquet to the dramatic flower arch, were better than I could have ever imagined!! This venue helped make our wedding day the most magical day of our lives. My husband and I were married in January, and the temperature was not ideal. Yet, David and his team worked hard to make the terrace comfortable, buying heaters for the terrace and keeping the barn nice and warm and cozy for our guests after the ceremony. Look no further than this venue! Highly recommend <3

King River Ranch was the first place we went out and looked at, and it ended up being the only place. We booked it that day. It was absolutely beautiful. The ceremony site, the guys/girls house, the King Barn and all the beautiful, natural landscape was just perfect. We thought everything couldn't be more perfect...and then we met David, the owner. My wedding was almost a month ago and I still get a little emotional when I think about how wonderful David and his sweet family are. Once the wedding day had arrived, I have to say we felt more like friends and family than clients. David did everything he possibly could to make our dreams come true. We also used David for our floral arrangements and decorations, and we were so glad we did - he really is the best in his trade. The day of the wedding me and my husband got to walk into the reception before our guests, and I think both of our jaws dropped to the floor. I'll never forget how magical everything looked. I don't know how he did it, but it represented us perfectly. Several of my guests came up and told me it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever been to. And I know we did not spend as much as so many other people do!!! David is professional, compassionate, sympathetic, patient, extremely talented and easy to communicate with! I cannot imagine a better place to get married. I'm so grateful that we will look back on our wedding with so many more beautiful memories than we ever expected to. King River Ranch is a very special place.

King River Ranch is the most wonderful venue for a Texas Hill Country wedding. As you drive into the gate you will start to fall in love with the surroundings. The ceremony site is perfectly placed on the banks of the Pedernales River. The barn for reception is rustic but can be transformed into whatever design suits you. David Hahn owner of venue and designer with Willem-Aidan is extremely talented. He is easy to work with and strives to make your event the best ever! All he needs is a color pattern and your personal taste and he will work wonders! We could not have been more pleased with all that King River Ranch had to offer and I am so thankful our daughter was married in this beautiful place.

Oh my word.... THIS IS AN AMAZING VENUE!!!!! My (then) fiance & I visited the venue back in November at their grand opening. When we drove up, we were so nervous this venue would already be booked but luckily they had our desired date available!! Very rare for this area, but I guess we snagged it with it still being so new. We got married at the beginning of May, and wow... What a dream! David Hahn (the owner) and his two sons were beyond helpful and I can't say THANK YOU enough! It was truly a HUGE help when I felt like such a scatter-brained bride! David was great with communication during our entire engagement, and that was very beneficial for my 27 million questions. He was gracious, positive and enjoyable to be around. Very willing to help however he could. He genuinely seemed to want the day to go as perfect as I wanted. It helped that I had beautiful weather, but aside from that- the barn is stunning, the animals were fun to have, the bridal/groom quarters were perfect and the ceremony altar created a beautiful focal point :) Loved, loved, loved getting to have our wedding at King River Ranch and it really lived up to our expectations & dreams. Book now, you won't regret it!!

I truly cannot say enough good things about King River Ranch and the Hahn family who own it. It's very obvious how much David and his sons have poured themselves into making this venue what it is- PERFECT. David was more than accommodating every step of the way and is someone who truly wants couples to have the most amazing wedding day and will lend himself in whatever way in order to achieve that. My guests loved the setting of our reception- enjoying cocktails by the Pedernales River then moving to the barn. That barn- WOW. Talk about the perfect Hill Country setting. As someone who loves a little glam the chandeliers and scones plus our décor made it the perfect glam + rustic setting I wanted. My husband and I are more than grateful to have had our wedding here. This venue was absolutely a dream! We were the first couple to get married here just 3 weeks ago. When we first saw this venue, we immediately fell in love. Between the river, the wildflowers, the beautiful barn and the attention to detail that David Hahn put into this venue, it was a no-brainer that this was going to be the site of our dream wedding. Being the first wedding and little time to plan (less than 3 months), it wasn't completely smooth sailing, but everyone worked so hard to make our wedding perfect, and it was exactly that! I can't oversell the barn. It is just absolutely gorgeous and just perfect for a rustic Texas wedding like we had. The animals David has on site are great for photos and the ceremony site overlooking the river couldn't have more natural beauty. You won't regret choosing this as your venue. My one note of improvement would be this, providing an extra area for guests to use the bathroom facilities near the ceremony that are not in the main house. As the bride, it was challenging to stay hidden from guests prior to the ceremony when they were all coming into the bridal suite looking for a bathroom. If that's my biggest complaint tho, than I think it's safe to say this is an awesome venue and I feel truly lucky to have been married in such a beautiful, unique place!!! Cheers!!
