Rev. Pat Werk officiated our wedding and we received so many compliments from our guests about how wonderful our ceremony was! Pat was so amazing to work with for many reasons. She really took the time to get to know us as a couple and really valued our input in crafting a ceremony that was unique to us. She brings so much expertise to the table and has such a way with words! She brings a confidence that made us feel at ease during the wedding planning process and on the wedding day. She is extremely organized and has so many helpful tips and tricks that she shares with couples! Hiring her as our officiant was one of the best choices we could have made. Abbie showed up for rehearsal and helped us tremendously. She was organized and helped us run the rehearsal until we were satisfied. She answered all of our questions and made sure we had what we needed for our wedding day.
On our big day she showed up early and checked in with me. She made sure I was doing well and double checked we had all the forms we needed before hand to make everything run smooth. She then when to check in with the DJ and set up. The ceremony was perfect. Alex and I felt extremely comfortable up there with her and knew exactly what to expect. After the ceremony was over she helped us sign our license and congratulated us. We never felt rushed and felt heard the whole time.
Afterwards during the reception I can’t tell you how many compliments we got on the ceremony. All in all we were told it was beautifully written, the perfect length to get the point across, the delivery was spectacular and original. Our guests were also very moved by the ceremony and we were also told it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to this year, a lot of them being to many weddings already this year.
We can’t say how grateful we are that we chose you guys and felt our wedding ceremony exceeded our expectations. Thank you for providing a wonderful service.

Pat ... where do I even begin. She was ABSOLUTELY amazing. We met with Pat before signing with Koru Ceremony and knew after that short meeting she would be the one to marry us (I even cancelled my other appointments with other officiants).
Pat took time to get to know us, who we were individually and as a couple and created a ceremony that was absolutely us. When we first got our script for approval, I cried. We also received so many compliments after the ceremony on how great it was executed.
We couldn't have asked for a better day and Pat started the afternoon with a beautiful ceremony, one we could have only dreamed of.

Koru ceremony was wonderful to work with. We were paired with Brad as our officiant and we couldn't be happier with how our ceremony went. We had a wonderful initial conversation with Brad, and then an (overly long but he was so polite about it) amazing fuller conversation later to talk about 'our story'. The ceremony Brad put together was so sweet and meaningful, and he was also so receptive to our initial edits. Pat was an excellent officiant, and we would recommend her to anybody. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and she is extremely well organized. The latter was especially helpful, as we were organizing the wedding remotely. It truly would not have been possible to have such a beautiful ceremony without her detailed planning and assistance.

We were fortunate to have worked with Sara from Koru Ceremonies for our wedding officiant. From day one when we met Sara over a virtual call all the way up to our wedding day, Sara was extremely personable and knowledgeable through the entire process. Sara guided us through every step of crafting our wedding ceremony, as well as provided reasoning around recommendations to ensure a smooth ceremony flow. Sara made it clear though that she would honor our preferences for how we wanted our ceremony to be, and she was very responsive to our ideas/feedback. Sara also ensured that we had access to view our ceremony in its entirety prior to our wedding. For our wedding, Sara came ready with copies of our chosen reading for our reader, as well as a few different options of a personalized wedding bell gift that we could choose from. We have recieved multiple compliments from family and friends around how beautifully Sara articulated our love story within our ceremony. Overall, we are beyond thankful for Sara's continued guidance and support throughout such an important part of the biggest day of our lives.

Our search to find an officiant for our wedding was not easy. We knew we wanted someone who would bring a special touch to our ceremony and who we felt connected to and understood us as a couple. When I came across Pat’s picture and read her bio, I had a feeling she was what we were looking for.
We had an initial video call with Pat, and she was so warm and welcoming, which drew us in. She provided us with all the tools we needed to create our perfect ceremony. We had plenty of styles, quotes, short readings, ceremony ideas, ring ceremony wording ideas, and vows to read though. We sifted through them all and chose what spoke to us and sent it back and she created the most beautiful ceremony for us.
After our ceremony many of our guests came up to us and said this was one of the best ceremonies they had been a part of because it truly felt personalized to the Bride and Groom.
Pat spoke with such care, warmth, and passion.
Pat has all the information you'd ever need on obtaining your marriage license, name change, and all the tips for everything in between. You can really tell she loves her job and is so invested in the couples she works with.

When we looked for an officiant for our wedding, we wanted a professional who had experience so things would go smoothly, we wanted a little bit of our own personality in the ceremony, and we wanted to make sure our vows weren't something we had to write all on our own. And we got all of that. Pat was fantastic to work with. Her experience showed in making sure that all our concerns about the day and the marriage license/certificate processing were covered. During the rehearsal, she helped us make sure that all the details were covered for the next day so we didn't stress over where to stand, what to hold, any of the small things.
While we had an initial concern that our package, one of the lower packages, was going to leave our ceremony feeling a bit paint-by-numbers, with us plugging ceremony pieces into the places they went. But there was enough personalization that it really didn't feel like it during the ceremony. It felt personal, it felt unique, and it was fantastic. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. We would recommend Pat to anyone, and if other officiants at Koru are anywhere near her quality, we'd definitely recommend Koru as a whole to anyone.

Pat could not have been more professional, organized, and enthusiastic. She has the perfect balance of charisma and efficiency. The ceremony building process was easy to follow yet customizable, and it was my favorite part to plan out of everything for our wedding. Brad Schnell with Koru Ceremony did an excellent job at officiating our recent ceremony. Throughout our time working together, Brad presented as both professional and compassionate with his natural demeanor, detailed questions to get to know us, and great speaking skills.
During the ceremony itself, Brad helped guide the wedding party to help decrease the stress for my wife and I that day, as well as put on an excellent ceremony speech. He took the time to craft his speech, integrating his knowledge of our relationship and also incorporating meaningful sentiments of love, compassion, and connectedness for a well-rounded speech.
After the speech, multiple guests came up to us to tell us about their experience of the ceremony, many highlighting how well the officiant appeared to know my wife and I's relationship. Multiple people said that they felt like that understood my wife and I's relationship on a much deeper level thanks to the well-written ceremony.

Rachel was our officiant and she was amazing. We really loved the workbook that was available to us. We were able to essentially tailor our ceremony to what we wanted based off of the information we were given in the packet from Koru. When we first met with Rachel, both my husband and I felt so at ease with her and her personality. She was available to us if we needed and we were able to collaborate with her as we got closer and closer to our wedding date. The rehearsal put a lot of us at ease with how things would run and what we were supposed to do, where to stand, etc. I would hire her again in a heartbeat! Thanks Rachel!

Brad did an amazing job officiating our wedding this past weekend!! Our ceremony was very personalized and special. We enjoyed meeting with him. I rarely write reviews but felt I needed to write this one!
From our very first meeting, Rachel was absolutely incredible to work with. Whether it was answering questions about our ceremony, providing insight, or being a calming presence, I cannot imagine our wedding day without her. Our ceremony was everything we dreamed of- filled with love, personal readings, and perfectly timed. Creating the ceremony was also something we really enjoyed- we loved being able to pick and choose different aspects and infuse personal touches into it. The night before our wedding, Rachel also did an amazing job at our rehearsal dinner- she clearly communicated what the ceremony would look like, answered questions, and helped the little ones warm up to the idea of walking down the aisle. We even had family members come up to us after and compliment our officiant and how beautifully she ran both the rehearsal and ceremony.
It's clear that Rachel truly cares about the couples she works with! One thing that my husband and I appreciated was how comfortable and welcoming Rachel made us feel. We came in with a lot of questions and very limited knowledge about logistics and Rachel was able to provide so much insight and talk us through various options and logistics. We cannot imagine having another officiant and absolutely loved her! 10000000/10 recommend!

We were given Pat’s name as someone who does an outstanding job with officiating a wedding ceremony. We had a small, intimate ceremony at a state park this fall. It was gorgeous. The first meeting we had with Pat we instantly loved her. She was warm, welcoming to our ideas, extremely organized and caring. She had many options for as big or small of a ceremony. I loved the fact that I could add a spiritual aspect as much or as little as I wanted through the ceremony. We then had a second meeting the week before our ceremony and we ironed out any details. When I emailed Pat she responded quick to my questions. The day of the ceremony she was right on time with a smile and hug. You could feel her love and energy during our 15 ceremony. We felt relaxed and completely comfortable. It ran exactly like the outline she sent us would, and even had papers with the vows for us ready. She worked so well with our photographer, Tara Draper to be in a great spot for lighting during the ceremony. I have nothing but high praise and respect for Pat. Thank you for making our wedding day so very special. Finally, the day after our ceremony she sent a small email confirming what she completed with the marriage license and wished us well. We had Rachel from Koru Ceremonies as our officiant, and she did a fantastic job. She helped us create a ceremony unique to us, and she was great at helping with so many things along the way, from picking processional music to explaining the process for applying for a marriage license. She also did a rehearsal with us the day before, and the wedding party all commented and said they felt the rehearsal was really helpful and made them feel more prepared during the ceremony. Stop looking and book with Koru Ceremony! We had the absolute pleasure of having Rachel Tatge be our officiant and she was an absolute DREAM to work with. The initial Zoom call is about 2 hours and then she gives you homework. The verbiage you can pick from is laid out so well and incredibly organized and you can edit any of it to personalize it to you as a couple. Then you have a 2nd Zoom call where she reads everything you chose, and runs through the full ceremony with you. That’s it! She shows up to your ceremony, coordinates with the necessary folks and makes sure it goes incredibly smooth. Rachel used to be a wedding planner and gives incredible advice on what to do and what not to do when it comes to everything about your wedding, not just your ceremony. You want her in your corner, and she’s an amazing resource. She is extremely funny, professional, and sweet! I cannot recommend her and Koru Ceremony enough. Pat Werk was also very helpful throughout. We could not have asked for a more perfect day! Having Rachel as our officiant took a huge weight off our shoulders. She makes you feel like she’s got you every step of the way and that’s HUGE, you cannot put a price on that. You will not regret working with anyone on Koru’s team. They are wonderful!!!

We didn't know what to expect when looking for an officiant for our wedding at Garver Feed Mill, but we were so glad we found Koru Ceremony. Rachel was our officiant and she was everything we could have possibly hoped for. Her communication and help with planning really put us at ease and made our ceremony come together perfectly. Sarah was warm, helpful and patient throughout our wedding planning process. She answered all of our questions and gave great suggestions to help us plan our ceremony. The rehearsal the night before was helpful for everyone in our wedding party, and we couldn't have had a better officiant for our ceremony. Pat at Koru was absolutely awesome to work with. She made us feel at ease through the planning process. She shared a wealth of resources to make our ceremony planning and vow writing exactly what we had imagined. It was like working with a close family friend.
On the big day itself, she was the calm that helped organize the storm. We had a rehearsal dinner with her the night before, but with so many children in our wedding party, having her get everyone to their places and letting them know exactly what they should be doing was beyond helpful. We were nervous about getting everyone to cooperate and remember their parts, but it all went really well.
The ceremony itself was touching and we felt that it was a great reflection of us as a couple. We are so thankful to have found Koru Ceremony and to have Pat as our officiant. Couldn't recommend her enough!

I do not have enough good things to say about Pat and her business! We knew we wanted to work with her right away when we met her. She loves her work and was so passionate in making our ceremony perfectly customized to us. We chose to have a non-religious ceremony and she was more than willing to accommodate. She listens to your vision and brings it to life with words. She has countless resources to help you choose specifics such as variations of different parts of the ceremony, quotes or readings to choose from, advice on how to write your vows, and much more. What was really important to us though, was that she never pushed her ideas too much, only offered expertise and polite suggestions about minor changes. Multiple people in our families have said it was the best ceremony they had ever been to, and they’ve been to a lot. We could not have been happier with our ceremony!

At first I was unsure who would marry us and late in the planning I decided I wanted to find an officiant. Pat came highly recommended to us by a friend and so we reached out and she happened to be free! We loved working with her. She helped us create a ceremony that was uniquely us, but provided us with so many prompts and ideas that planning our ceremony was one of our favorite parts of planning the wedding! She was very organized and efficient, guiding us through the process of planning a ceremony and applying for a license. She was fantastic when we last minute had to change the rehearsal location and helped us to make it work and make it a memorable experience. The ceremony would not have been as special or flowed as smoothly without Pat, we were blessed to meet her and have her officiate our wedding.

I highly recommend hiring Koru Ceremony as your wedding officiant! Pat is extremely responsive, professional, and cares deeply about making your ceremony special and meaningful to you and your significant other. We were able to have multiple meetings, revisions to our ceremony script, and countless emails with her. The planning process with Pat was very smooth but also as customized as you want to make it. Pat made us feel prepared and supported for our ceremony so we could be as stress-free as possible and just enjoy the moment. Not only was she our officiant, but she also guided us on how to apply for a marriage license/certificate, how to change my last name, etc. before and after the wedding.
