Picking the right photographer was very important and we are so glad Kristen was the one for us. She was knowledgeable and her positive and calm attitude was the deciding factor. Our wedding day landed on daylight savings day and we had no idea how much this would affect our timeline of photos. Kristen made sure to thoroughly plan our timeline and worked seamlessly, getting allll the shots before sunset but also making sure we had our moment for photos as newlyweds thereafter. It can be hard for us to be on time but working with Kristen, we were AHEAD of schedule. This helped calm my nerves and we could just focus on enjoying our special day. Kristen captured so many important moments that we did not even know we needed, in addition to a photo shootlist, which she checked off everything we had requested. Seriously, every time we look at the photos, we see more new and exciting pictures, it really shows how attentive and present Kristen was. The pictures are absolutely stunning (we are in shock its us and its our wedding) and we are beyond happy. We will cherish these photos forever and cannot wait to share with our children in the future.

I honestly don't have enough positive things to say about Kristen. To start, she is SO fun to work with. Her calm, professional demeanor was a godsend on our wedding day where everyone is running around and everything is hectic. She somehow feels like one of your pals while also wrangling a bunch of personalities into posing for photos in a timely manner. I forgot every single shot I wanted to ask for but she basically directed the day and got everything on our photo list and captured so many details. I also had some gloves I decided to cut out from my final bridal wedding look but she demanded I bring them along for our portraits and she couldn't have been more right. The photos are STUNNING. She is so talented. After somehow delivering our wedding photos to us in under 3 weeks there is not a single photo we don't love (and I don't usually even like photos of myself). I do not know how she did it. The composition is one thing and then there are her candids. She captured a photo of my sister and I holding hands and laughing that I don't even remember happening but will cherish forever. Do yourself a favor for your wedding day and hire Kristen. She's brilliant, fun, professional and is so easy to communicate / work with. 1,000/10 recommend.

We cannot recommend Kristen enough!!! Our wedding was black tie with a ginormous wedding party, and from start to finish we are so grateful we went with Kristen as our photographer. At many moments throughout the hectic day, Kristen brought a sense of calm and also had so many great ideas and tips for me as the bride. I really appreciated her communication leading up to & throughout the day. I respected her creativity, and watching her find the small moments to capture was really special. Kristen also brought a ton of organization to the wedding, and helped a lot with the flow of our day in terms of spacing out the grouped photos and our first look. We felt very at ease with her capturing our engagement and wedding photos, while I can imagine with the wrong photographer wedding photos might be awkward. Thank you so much Kristen (and our second shooter, Tim!) for capturing our day, and we look forward to calling you again to photograph our life moments to come!

My husband and I cannot say enough about how truly amazing Kristen and her photos are. We had worked with her for both our engagement photos and wedding day photos. From the very beginning, she was great at communicating and in a timely manner. She was also great at capturing all the moments, even the ones you might not think were much but are so happy you get to look back on now (like a bridesmaid helping get lipstick off your teeth while you're both laughing about it). We never felt overly posed or awkward taking our photos and always felt comfortable with her. Her aesthetic perfectly matched our (almost) fall wedding on a farm. She got photos back to us in great time both times and we found ourselves looking back at them constantly. We still can't stop looking. We've also had many people say they are the best wedding pictures they have ever seen, and we would have to agree! She truly is our favorite vendor from our special day. If you want beautiful pictures and an amazing person taking them, look no further because Kristen is the one for you!

I'm not even sure where to begin to describe how talented Kristen is. If you don't read anything else, book her as your photographer you will not regret it! Some quotes from our wedding guests when they saw our pictures: "What the f*** these are the best wedding photos I've ever seen" "These are perhaps the most beautiful wedding photos I've ever seen!" "These photos are 100,000 times better than hours, I'm so jealous" Safe to say, we are so thrilled to have had Kristen document our wedding day. We also had the privilege of having her shoot our engagement photos and family photos for my husband's side of the family. Kristen has a unique ability to make even the most awkward or nervous of people look authentically beautiful. She was a calm, stable energy during my wedding day and not only captured our day perfectly, but helped me feel grounded throughout. Kristen is a joy to coordinate with, is prompt at communication, and also has a very quick turn around time for photos. The worst part about working with Kristen is that you will end up with way too many perfect photos, and you'll have a hard time picking favorites! We will be using Kristen for any photography needs in the future. We are so grateful for her amazing ability to capture the love, beauty, and humor from our family and friends.

We absolutely LOVED Kristen as our engagement and wedding photographer. Her photos are STUNNING, plain and simple. Kristen took our engagement and wedding photos and we were blown away by her work. Not only is the quality of her work phenomenal, but she also went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure things went as smoothly as possible. For example - to avoid making us walk through snow and ice, Kristen and her assistant Tim grabbed their car and drove us down to the beach to take sunset photos (which turned out to be our favorite photos from the day). On top of that, the turn around to receive our photos was insanely fast. We would choose Kristen again in a heartbeat for any future photography needs, and highly recommend her!

We LOVED our photos Kristen and her assistant Tim took on our wedding day. I chose Kristen because of the style of her photos, her reviews, and when we spoke she made us feel comfortable. We are so pleased with how the photos came out- very true to us and she really captured the essence of the day. My husband did not want to take a ton of staged photos during the day and we let her know ahead of time. We also had never taken profession photos before- not even for our engagement. She was able to take these beautiful photos without having it be overwhelming for either of us. She had such an eye to capture the scenery and our love, along with touching moments with our friends and families. We have so many we love it was hard to choose what to frame. The way she captured us together and with our wedding parties just made me want to cry- the photos are so special to us. Kristen was the best photographer we could have wanted for our wedding! From the very start she was professional and helpful, answering all of our questions about wedding day timelines and shot lists. She was available for many questions leading up to the big day, and helped us revise our timeline to make sure we got our sunset photos in (Which, side note, definitely make time to do! I was honestly on the fence but they ended up being some of my favorite photos of the day!). From our engagement photo session to the last dancing photo, Kristen was simply amazing. She knew how to blend into the background, joke with the wedding party, and organize family for the group photos. When we had some last-minute changes in photos, Kristen took the changes in stride and made everything as smooth as possible. I'm so glad we had Kristen for our wedding journey, and can't wait to book her again in the future for any family photo needs!

Kristen is extraordinary. My now-husband and I felt so at ease with the way she directed us and the wedding party as we posed for photos. I never could’ve expected to feel so relaxed because we got a photographer like Kristen, who came across always focused, calm, and confident. She grounded me and my husband in our nervous moments and somehow managed to be everywhere. She always caught someone trying to take a phone picture and would step in to get the professional portrait. At the end of the night, I really appreciated how she came up to me to ask if there were any other shots I wanted her to take. I told her there wasn’t and she started heading out, but then a spontaneous last group dance burst out and we all thought she had left. Suddenly she was there to capture that special moment of all our friends on the dance floor. We really felt that she was there for us, and we will always remember that feeling. Not to mention, the pictures came out AMAZING! We can’t recommend Kristen enough!! Book her! :)

TL;DR-- If you’re wanting an easy-going, reliable, and gifted photographer to capture your love and wedding day with authenticity, look no further. Kristen is who you’re looking for! As two people who feel uncomfortable in front of a camera, we were searching for a photographer who could help ease our awkwardness, give us some direction, and still manage to capture photos of us in a way that felt authentic and natural. We hit the jackpot in finding Kristen. Some of the reasons we would recommend Kristen without any hesitation: 1- She has an artistic eye that spots opportunity in the most unlikely of environments. I see a decrepit shed on the side of a busy street, Kristen sees an opportunity. One of our favorite photos from our engagement session came from this location. 2- Kristen has a calm, easy-going demeanor. This allowed us to relax in front of the camera and trust the process. It also helped to settle our wedding day nerves and be more in the moment, an invaluable gift. 3- She is organized and timely. With all the details we had to keep track of in planning the wedding, it was such a relief to have Kristen check in with us to confirm all of the details, help us prepare a timeline and photo list, arrive early for both our engagement session and the wedding, and keep us on schedule on our wedding day. And she did all of this without ever making us feel rushed, stressed, or underprepared. Not only this, but she had our edited photos for both our engagement session and wedding in LESS THAN A WEEK!! We immediately shared our wedding photos with our guests and everyone was shocked with how quickly they arrived. 4- Perhaps most importantly, the photos are PHENOMENAL. In our engagement session, she magically turned our awkwardness into gorgeousness. And on the wedding day, she and her second (Tim) captured each moment and emotion of the day. The authenticity that comes through in the photos really allows us to relive every second. 5- Lastly, she keeps the focus on what matters. If you told us that Kristen has Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak, we’d believe it. During our ceremony, we wanted to really be able to be in the moment and for our guests to tune in to our vows, readings, etc. We’ve been at plenty of weddings as guests where we get distracted by the photographer and miss what’s being said. This was not an issue for us at all. She somehow captured all the up-close-and-personal shots we’ll cherish forever, but we have no idea where she was or how she was able to do this. MAGIC! We cannot recommend Kristen Phelps Photography more highly! Thank you Kristen (and Tim)!!!

After shopping around for photographers for quite awhile, I came across Kristen’s website. As someone who doesn’t love posing for pictures and enjoys candids more, I knew immediately that Kristen was the photographer for us. She focuses on documenting the real moments of a special day. We were so lucky to have Kristen photograph our engagement shoot and then our wedding in September. For our wedding Kristen brought along another photographer who was just as talented and easy to work with. Both blended right into the room and without anyone even noticing, they were taking beautiful shots. On top of the huge amount of candids that captured everyone’s pure joy, they also helped guide and arrange the bridal party for gorgeous photos. For my husband and I’s couple photos we couldn’t stop laughing and were slightly awkward with poses, but they encouraged silliness and took photos that truly captured our happiness and relationship. They were absolutely gorgeous! When looking through the wedding album, it was like reliving the night and really told the story of our friends and families. I have already recommended Kristen to multiple people and encourage anyone reading this to contact her. She’s an absolute delight to work with and incredibly talented.

I just received my photos today and they are GORGEOUS! Kristen was amazing to work with, very flexible and creative. I only had 3-4 photo requests and left the rest up to her as well as asking for some direction in terms of photos she thought might look nice. I knew once the big day was over and she left that I would definitely have some nice shots to look forward to, but she truly out did herself! My wedding day was HOT HOT HOT. But my husband and I, and all our guests look wonderful in all the photos, not an ounce of sweat could be seen. (and trust me, there was plenty!) She made sure we had all the photos of every family member and combination of family you could think of. Some of the photos made me laugh, and some made me cry, she truly captured the moment and the all the feels. We had a small COVID style wedding this year and wanted to use Kristen again next year, but sadly she is already booked, or I would have used her again!

If you're looking for the best wedding photographer of all time, look no further. Kristen is the perfect combination of creative, talented, professional and kind. When you give her a direction she runs with it. If you have no direction, she finds the one you were searching for all along. I never imagined that my wedding album would include artistic shots of Great Blue Herons, or that we'd climb rocks oceanside for our engagement shoot, but Kristen made every moment magic.

Words cannot express how fantastic it was working with Kristen for our big day. She was professional, friendly and adapted well to our large family. There was lots that needed to be captured and she did it no problem. She was constantly working but also, always near myself and the groom incase we needed anything. She captured all of the important moments we wanted without us giving any direction. She had a clear vision and it completely worked with ours. If you are looking for a photographer I would highly recommend Kristen!

Kristen was an amazing photographer for our wedding day and was able to capture every moment perfectly! We don't usually take photos, but Kristen helped make us feel comfortable and relaxed about it all. She made sure all the family members we needed photos with were included, advised on when the lighting was best (sunset), and took great candids throughout the night. I'll start with the most important sentence of this review so that if you don't want to read my whole ramble about how much I love Kristen Phelps Photography you don't have to... but we have officially found the one and only photographer that we plan to use for the rest of time. (Sorry Kristen, looks like you won't ever be able to retire now) It's going to be hard to keep this concise, but I'll try to keep it to the need to know stuff - I cannot even begin to tell you how many hours I spent looking for a photographer that was right for us. I emailed SO many people, looked at SO many photos, made my then fiance (now husband) look at SO many photos and compare packages, etc. Literally exhausting. After my extensive research, I landed on Kristen & I never looked back. We booked Kristen for our engagement shoot & our wedding, and I even booked her for a boudoir shoot so I could make a photo book as a gift to my husband on our wedding day. I truly don't think that I would have done that boudoir shoot, or even had the idea to do it, if it wasn't for Kristen. She has this way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. When you feel like you are going to be the most awkward photography subject known to man and you think no photographer on the planet could ever snap a photo of you that would look how you hope and dream to look in photos - Kristen absolutely blows you out of the water, turns out the most amazing photos that capture you in the most authentic yet unique way, and you can't figure out how the heck she did it, but you don't care because they're perfect. Kristen welcomed our dog into our engagement photo shoot with open arms & managed to get cute photos with him even though he could not be bothered and was chasing bugs the entire time. She also helped me prank my husband during our first look & more importantly was such a huge support for me during the whole entire wedding day. Not only are her photos exactly what we were looking for, but she also has a personality that jived with us right off the bat. She's incredibly creative, understanding, and caring. Long story long, Kristen is the best!

Kristen did an amazing job photographing our wedding! Don't be fooled - her quiet demeanor belies a sharp, professional mind as well as the soul of an artist! She and her assistant produced some simply stunning photos! She was able to capture every aspect of our wedding, from getting ready, to the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, the marriage ceremony, cocktail hour, the reception, dancing and more! She was an able leader during the family photoshoots, but also was willing to lean on the help of my sister-in-law who was directing family (the wedding was ~180 people, to give some perspective). She came to us highly recommended by a friend, and she did not disappoint. Lastly, her prices were very reasonable, especially for the metro-Boston area, even factoring in travel costs. We heartily recommend Kristen to anyone in the eastern New England region!

I wish I could give Kristen 10 stars! Photography was one of my most important vendors, but I also found it to be the hardest to pick. After countlessly searching through pages and pages of photographers, they all start to look the same after a while. Until I came across Kristen’s portfolio. It is obvious from looking at her work that she is incredible at what she does. But what you can’t see from her portfolio is how amazing she is to work with. Kristen seemlessly blended into the crowd at my wedding.... which is important. She was amazingly nice, and rolled with the punches no matter what came her way. During my first look, her shoe fell off, went over the bridge, and floated down the river and was never to be seen again, and I had not a single clue this even happened. You never knew she was there, but she got all the shots I could have ever wanted and more. I have gotten an unbelievable amount of compliments on my wedding photos, because of the time and effort that were put into capturing, and then editing them. Kristen was phenomenal to work with and very flexible, which made organizing this aspect of my wedding a breeze. If I had to do it again, I would choose her a thousand percent.

Kristen and her dad were wonderful to work with! Kristen was kind, accommodating and professional. Our family wedding photos must have felt a bit like herding cats to Kristen, and we had classic New England unpredictable weather, but she kept her composure and worked her best to get me all the outdoor photos I really wanted. The pictures are simply beautiful. Would highly recommend Kristen and look forward to working with her again in the future for the next life events that need photographing!

Kristen Phelps was fantastic! My wife and I hired Kristen to shoot our engagement and wedding photos in NH and were so pleased. Her relaxed and easy demeanor were a welcome presence on our wedding day. Her dad (second shooter) was also wonderful. We felt like we could be ourselves and be authentic around them. The photos themselves turned out beautifully. Our engagement shoot was fun and casual, and Kristen was cool letting us include the family dog in some of the photos, which was great. Our wedding photos in Durham and at the Seacoast Science Center are breathtaking, particularly the ocean shots. There were a lot of wonderful candids Kristen took that really captured the spirit of the day. We've received a lot of compliments! We also felt Kristen's pricing was very fair. She was also prompt and responsive when it came to communication throughout the whole process. We absolutely recommend her!

We highly recommend Kristen Phelps Photography! We were absolutely blown away by all of the gorgeous photos she took at our wedding. She made sure to capture all the pictures we wanted and many more. Kristen made creative use of our ceremony and reception locations. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. We first found Kristen’s work when we were searching online for a photographer. We both fell in love with her aesthetic and the unique moments she was able to capture for the couples she photographed. We reached out to her immediately to see if she was available for our wedding. The plan we chose to go with included an engagement photo session. Neither my husband nor I are very confident in front of the camera and can be a bit awkward, but Kristen made us feel super comfortable. She’s laid back and so easy to work with, but she is also incredibly professional and has an amazing eye for detail and great shots. She gave us great directions and helped us to focus on each other. At times she had us sitting cross-legged in a field, laying down in tall grass, dancing through the forest, etc., all of which made for some incredible moments and photos. When we got our engagement photos back (very shortly after we took them!) we were both blown away! We are not photogenic people, and yet Kristen made us look like photogenic people who looked natural in front of a camera. We couldn’t believe it. There were so many good photos to choose from, that I couldn’t wait until we got to work with her again on our wedding day. Before the big day, Kristen checked in to ask us if there were any photos we definitely wanted, what types of photos we cared about having most, and if we had any special requests. We really appreciated this, and it helped to make sure we got the photos we really wanted. On the day of, Kristen and her dad (second photographer) arrived right on time and blended seamlessly into the business of the day. Again, she gave great direction to us and our wedding party to create some great shots, but also stepped back to capture what was happening naturally. During the ceremony and reception, I barely even noticed there were photographers, but they were there and capture so many amazing moments that we will treasure forever. Our favorites are from when Kristen asked us to step away at sunset for a few photos. We loved that we got a little bit of time for just the two of us, and Kristen captured some of our favorite photos of all time. We are eternally grateful to her and her talent. We highly recommend her, and are desperately looking for excuses to work with her in the future!

Kristen is absolutely incredible!! So much so that I’m writing this review on my honeymoon! Kristen and her father (second shooter) showed up right on time, and even though it was the first time we had met, she made everyone feel comfortable and took so many shots without you realizing she was even there. Her photos belong in every bridal magazine out there! We never had an engagement shoot or anything and I can’t begin to tell you how STUNNING her photos are. Her prices are very reasonable and the product you get is beyond compare. I couldn’t recommend her enough- you are absurd to go to anyone else for wedding/family/everyday photography. If I could give her 100 stars I would! Favorite vendor and best decision my husband and I made concerning our wedding!!!

Kristen was an AMAING photographer. She was so sweet and attentive leading up to the wedding and made me feel less stressed as I was juggling all the details. On day of, her and her father arrived at the end of our getting ready process and stayed until almost the end of the reception. They captured EVERY amazing moment. I was so happy how attentive they were and what good of an eye they both had for perfect moments. When I got my photos (SO QUICKLY – I’ve seen others wait and wait for their photos to come in, so I was surprised how fast I received them), Kristen also sent us a bottle of sparkling wine with our passcode, it was so sweet! The photos came out amazing, so detailed and professional. The detail photos were perfect. I am so happy I went with Kristen, I couldn’t ask for a better portfolio of a day I’ll now never forget!

I love Kristen as a person, she is kind and is passionate about her art. However, my husband and I were very disappointed in our wedding pictures and this is nothing that you can re-do or moments you can re-capture. As being green to the field, Kristen does not posses being assertive enough to get the shots we would have liked, often standing behind people or not getting the right angle. We often felt we had to direct her throughout the day rather than the other way around. This was stressful as there was already a lot to think about that day. I think that at times she focuses so much on the small details she loses sight of bigger things such as the background or garment flaws. I am saddened of the lack of pictures that we will have as memories going forward.

Kristen was simply amazing! Her work speaks for itself and is why we chose her to be our photographer. She captured not only the love between me and my husband on our wedding day but also the excitement and celebration of all of our guests! Kristen made sure to get to know exactly what we wanted for pictures prior to the wedding and exceeded our expectations!! We are so grateful to Kristen for providing us with our beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!

Kristen was absolutely fantastic! I got married on May 21, 2016 in Sandwich, MA. She captured everything that we discussed in prior meetings. Kristen was very prompt in responding to my emails and calls. The day of she was great! We took get ready photos prior to the wedding and she captured all the little details to the wedding that I absolutely love. The day goes by so fast and my husband and I have a hard time remembering things but we are so thankful to Kristen. She truly captured every moment and we get to relive them through the photos. I am not creative at all so I really relied on Kristen for photo ideas and she did amazing! The bridal party photos were amazing and fun and there are so many different poses to choose from. Our one on one photos are my absolute favorite. She really knows how to capture those special moments. The lighting in the photos were amazing! I would highly recommend Kristen if you want to truly capture your special day and want high quality photos. I hope to work with her again in the near future! I can't thank her enough!

Kristen was absolutely wonderful to work with! My now husband and I live in California, so we thought that choosing the right photographer was going to be a difficult task. Kristen was open to FaceTiming with us on our first meeting and was so attentive to detail. On the day of the wedding, Kristen and photographer #2, her Father, were right on time and were both wonderful to work with! When Kristen first arrived, things were a bit hectic, and she really helped to slow things down and was able to get some really amazing pictures. Throughout the night Kristen blended in perfectly and captured many effortless pictures. It was a breath of fresh air when she pulled Joe and I outside to take some sunset pictures. I would absolutely recommend Kristen! I can’t thank her enough for capturing our special day! The pictures are absolutely amazing!

It was a dream of mine to have a New England fall engagement shoot, and Kristen Phelps made it happen! She captured the best, most genuine looks between my fiance and I! We absolutely loved them. She also highlighted the fall colors that I wanted in each photo. It really was done beautifully! She was easy to work with, had great natural poses for us to do, and made us feel comfortable! Kristen was amazing...our pictures are beautiful!! She met with my husband prior to the wedding to plan out where we would be taking photos and came ready to go on the big day. She made us feel comfortable and took photos of us doing things we do naturally. She gave us enough direction to get the shots we needed but also gave us the freedom to choose what we liked to do. The photos are just stunning...I can't say it enough!! She did an amazing job of incorporating us into the beautiful scenery of fall in the northeast. She is so pleasant and easy to work with. Kristen was amazing to work with! I was a little shy at first and she helped me relax and she captured gorgeous in-the-moment photos! What I admire about Kristen's work is her ability to capture those " in love" moments. She helps with posing, but even more so she takes shots when you least expect it, really showing the alive feeling in her photos that you feel when you are with the person you love. She is talented, easy to talk to and work with, and provided her services in a timely manner. So happy with my photos.

My fiance, Jacob, and I have been engaged for more than a year, but had been putting off finding a photographer because we're getting married in a different state from where we currently live. Eventually, we decided to look for someone to do our engagement photos here in New Hampshire, and we looked on The Knot (as well as Google) to see what some of our options were. I found a couple photographers that I liked, but either the quality of their photos wasn't what we wanted or their price was higher than we wanted. I'm pretty picky about what I like - I really hate cheesy engagement pictures, and I especially hate those super crisp, bright pictures that your friend's second cousin does because she bought a really nice camera and now fancies herself a photographer. During the search, I found Kristen's page and completely fell in love with quality of her work, her ability to show emotional connections, and the way she tastefully uses black and white pictures! I had already messaged another photographer whose work we liked less, but who was asking for around $600 for an hour session. Kristen was our first choice, so we emailed her and got a response right away. I was shocked (and very happy!) that she was so affordable, which made the decision to go with Kristen such an easy one. Over the course of the next few months, Kristen kept in contact with us well and was very easy to talk to. She walked through the process with me very patiently and picked a really beautiful place for us to shoot at. It was exactly what we had wanted for a fall, New Hampshire engagement session! During the shoot, Kristen was an absolute delight. As a person and a photographer, Kristen is so sweet, thoughtful, funny, and has a great attitude. She was so easy to be around and talk to. She gave good direction when we needed it but also just let us be ourselves. Jacob and I are pretty affectionate in general, but it can feel forced when someone's like, "Alright, kiss!" Kristen made it feel natural, enjoyable, sooo comfortable, and by the end of our session, I had almost forgotten about the camera and just wanted to keep kissing my fiance, haha. We took pictures on a Friday, and by Monday, she had already put up a sneak peak on her Facebook! By Wednesday, we recieved the CD with our digital copy of the pictures, and by Thursday, the online album was up so we could show our friends and family. I never expected them that fast! More importantly, the pictures are so beautiful. Like a lot of women (unfortunately), I don't typically think of myself as beautiful, but Kristen took some of the most beautiful pictures of myself I've ever seen. The connection between me and Jacob is so clear in the photos, he looked so handsome in them, and while he doesn't usually get excited about pictures of himself, the black and white prints made him almost giddy! Everyone has raved about the pictures, and my father-in-law said they made him smile and cry every time he looked at them. All-in-all, I could not be happier with Kristen and the work she did for us. I would defintiely recommend her to anyone in New Hampshire, but especially in the Concord/Hooksett/Manchester area!

I hired Kristen for both a boudoir shoot as well as for our wedding day. She was professional, kind and creative. Our photos were available to view very quickly as well. I highly recommend Kristen!

We used Kristen's services for our engagement and wedding pictures, and the final, edited pictures were in our hands a week after each session. Kristen photographed my September wedding and was fabulous. She was very professional and responsive in the time leading up to the wedding, was organized and always punctual, and everyone raved about working with her on the big day. The best news? Kristen Phelps was absolutely the best photographer I could have asked for. Not only did she keep in constant contact with me leading up to the wedding, her, and her assistant were punctual, and more than professional. She was so creative in taking our photos, they weren't stiff or boring or "run of the mill" they were fun and simply elegant. We had our pictures waiting for us when we came home from our honeymoon, my husband and I literally put our suitcases down immediately and sat for an hour in complete amazement at how beautiful our photos were. The moments and love that Kristen captured of us and our families, we will be forever grateful for. As you can imagine being the bride and groom you're busy running around, its nice to see that someone saw those moments that maybe we didn't get to see and made it so we could have them forever! We STILL cant decide which photos to have printed for us and our family because they are all so good, I may be hanging 600 pictures in my living room so I can look at them all!!!! Kristen may be young, but don't for a second let it fool you, she is so far beyond talented, i couldn't imagine getting photos done by anyone else EVER again! I can not emphasize how awesome Kristen is! We are so happy with our photos. She was such a pleasure to work with- very thoughtful and professional. She was so non-invasive on our big day that we and our guests didn't even notice when she was snapping pictures and capturing every little moment. She made everyone feel so comfortable- several of our married friends mentioned that they wished she had been their wedding photographer! She set up an awesome photo booth for us which required extra work and setup but she was happy to do it. Our guests loved it! She was so accommodating and really worked with us to capture our special day just the way we imagined.

Her candor was decidedly professional but personal enough to engender good feelings on all fronts. When it came to the wedding day, Kristen faced nothing but challenges with regards to lighting, getting people in one place, and time. However, her professionalism shone through, and she patiently guided everyone to where they needed to be in order to get amazing shots, despite shooting outdoors at noon on a sunny day. My wife and our families could not be happier with the results. Kristen was able to get great shots when photographs taken by wedding-goers were almost entirely washed out or too dark. In particular, her work with my wife and I outdoors was excellent. The outdoor venue for our reception was beautiful, and one reason we chose Kristen was for her outdoor works displayed on her site. We both feel we could not have made a better choice in this regard, as she was able to capture both the most obviously beautiful areas as well as compose shots where the average photographer would not think to look. The shots indoors were amazing as well, and Kristen showed a creativity and artistic talent that blew us away. When we received a Kenyan wedding necklace, Kristen asked us for our rings, and took a beautiful set of photographs of the rings entwined with the necklace in front of a flower arrangement. Clueless as we were, she also coached us through the cake cutting, which we were very grateful for. I cannot recommend Kristen Phelps Photography enough. Her professionalism, artistic talent, and geniality made every aspect of working with her both enjoyable and richly rewarding. My husband and myself were put on a very short time frame to plan our wedding. One of the things we struggled with finding was a photographer that offered quality photos for a reasonable price. I was thrilled when I went on Kristen's website and saw her portfolios! Her pictures were breath taking! We immediately booked her and I am so glad that we did! Our wedding day was perfect and she captured every aspect of it better than we could have imagined. She was very detail oriented and made sure to capture the little things that I would have forgotten about. We got so many compliments from our guests about how professional she was. We cannot say enough good things about Kristen. Not only was she an amazing photographer but she was very easy to work with. We would absolutely book her again in the future.

My wife and I invited Kristen to our venue to look around and figure out where we would like to take photos, along with the type of style/ideas we wanted to capture.
