ur wedding day landed on daylight savings day and we had no idea how much this would affect our timeline of photos. Kristen made sure to thoroughly plan our timeline and worked seamlessly, getting allll the shots before sunset but also making sure we had our moment for photos as newlyweds thereafter. It can be hard for us to be on time but working with Kristen, we were AHEAD of schedule. This helped calm my nerves and we could just focus on enjoying our special day. Kristen captured so many important moments that we did not even know we needed, in addition to a photo shootlist, which she checked off everything we had requested. Seriously, every time we look at the photos, we see more new and exciting pictures, it really shows how attentive and present Kristen was. The pictures are absolutely stunning (we are in shock its us and its our wedding) and we are beyond happy. We will cherish these photos forever and cannot wait to share with our children in the future.

eginning, she was great at communicating and in a timely manner. She was also great at capturing all the moments, even the ones you might not think were much but are so happy you get to look back on now (like a bridesmaid helping get lipstick off your teeth while you're both laughing about it). We never felt overly posed or awkward taking our photos and always felt comfortable with her. Her aesthetic perfectly matched our (almost) fall wedding on a farm. She got photos back to us in great time both times and we found ourselves looking back at them constantly. We still can't stop looking. We've also had many people say they are the best wedding pictures they have ever seen, and we would have to agree! She truly is our favorite vendor from our special day. My husband did not want to take a ton of staged photos during the day and we let her know ahead of time. We also had never taken profession photos before- not even for our engagement. She was available for many questions leading up to the big day, and helped us revise our timeline to make sure we got our sunset photos in (Which, side note, definitely make time to do! I was honestly on the fence but they ended up being some of my favorite photos of the day!). From our engagement photo session to the last dancing photo, Kristen was simply amazing. She knew how to blend into the background, joke with the wedding party, and organize family for the group photos. When we had some last-minute changes in photos, Kristen took the changes in stride and made everything as smooth as possible. ed because we got a photographer like Kristen, who came across always focused, calm, and confident. She grounded me and my husband in our nervous moments and somehow managed to be everywhere. She always caught someone trying to take a phone picture and would step in to get the professional portrait. At the end of the night, I really appreciated how she came up to me to ask if there were any other shots I wanted her to take. I told her there wasn’t and she started heading out, but then a spontaneous last group dance burst out and we all thought she had left. As two people who feel uncomfortable in front of a camera, we were searching for a photographer who could help ease our awkwardness, give us some direction, and still manage to capture photos of us in a way that felt authentic and natural. We hit the jackpot in finding Kristen. Some of the reasons we would recommend Kristen without any hesitation: 1- She has an artistic eye that spots opportunity in the most unlikely of environments. I see a decrepit shed on the side of a busy street, Kristen sees an opportunity. One of our favorite photos from our engagement session came from this location. 2- Kristen has a calm, easy-going demeanor. This allowed us to relax in front of the camera and trust the process. It also helped to settle our wedding day nerves and be more in the moment, an invaluable gift. 3- She is organized and timely. With all the details we had to keep track of in planning the wedding, it was such a relief to have Kristen check in with us to confirm all of the details, help us prepare a timeline and photo list, arrive early for both our engagement session and the wedding, and keep us on schedule on our wedding day. And she did all of this without ever making us feel rushed, stressed, or underprepared. Not only this, but she had our edited photos for both our engagement session and wedding in LESS THAN A WEEK!! We immediately shared our wedding photos with our guests and everyone was shocked with how quickly they arrived. 4- Perhaps most importantly, the photos are PHENOMENAL. In our engagement session, she magically turned our awkwardness into gorgeousness. And on the wedding day, she and her second (Tim) captured each moment and emotion of the day. The authenticity that comes through in the photos really allows us to relive every second. 5- Lastly, she keeps the focus on what matters. If you told us that Kristen has Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak, we’d believe it. During our ceremony, we wanted to really be able to be in the moment and for our guests to tune in to our vows, readings, etc. We’ve been at plenty of weddings as guests where we get distracted by the photographer and miss what’s being said. This was not an issue for us at all. She somehow captured all the up-close-and-personal shots we’ll cherish forever, but we have no idea where she was or how she was able to do this. MAGIC! We were so lucky to have Kristen photograph our engagement shoot and then our wedding in September. For our wedding Kristen brought along another photographer who was just as talented and easy to work with. Both blended right into the room and without anyone even noticing, they were taking beautiful shots. On top of the huge amount of candids that captured everyone’s pure joy, they also helped guide and arrange the bridal party for gorgeous photos. For my husband and I’s couple photos we couldn’t stop laughing and were slightly awkward with poses, but they encouraged silliness and took photos that truly captured our happiness and relationship. They were absolutely gorgeous! When looking through the wedding album, it was like reliving the night and really told the story of our friends and families. I have already recommended Kristen to multiple people and encourage anyone reading this to contact her. She’s an absolute delight to work with and incredibly talented.

ll as asking for some direction in terms of photos she thought might look nice. I knew once the big day was over and she left that I would definitely have some nice shots to look forward to, but she truly out did herself! My wedding day was HOT HOT HOT. But my husband and I, and all our guests look wonderful in all the photos, not an ounce of sweat could be seen. (and trust me, there was plenty!) She made sure we had all the photos of every family member and combination of family you could think of. Some of the photos made me laugh, and some made me cry, she truly captured the moment and the all the feels. We had a small COVID style wedding this year and wanted to use Kristen again next year, but sadly she is already booked, or I would have used her again!

ut we have officially found the one and only photographer that we plan to use for the rest of time. (Sorry Kristen, looks like you won't ever be able to retire now) It's going to be hard to keep this concise, but I'll try to keep it to the need to know stuff - I cannot even begin to tell you how many hours I spent looking for a photographer that was right for us. I emailed SO many people, looked at SO many photos, made my then fiance (now husband) look at SO many photos and compare packages, etc. Literally exhausting. After my extensive research, I landed on Kristen & I never looked back. We booked Kristen for our engagement shoot & our wedding, and I even booked her for a boudoir shoot so I could make a photo book as a gift to my husband on our wedding day. I truly don't think that I would have done that boudoir shoot, or even had the idea to do it, if it wasn't for Kristen. She has this way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. When you feel like you are going to be the most awkward photography subject known to man and you think no photographer on the planet could ever snap a photo of you that would look how you hope and dream to look in photos - Kristen absolutely blows you out of the water, turns out the most amazing photos that capture you in the most authentic yet unique way, and you can't figure out how the heck she did it, but you don't care because they're perfect. Kristen welcomed our dog into our engagement photo shoot with open arms & managed to get cute photos with him even though he could not be bothered and was chasing bugs the entire time. She also helped me prank my husband during our first look & more importantly was such a huge support for me during the whole entire wedding day. Not only are her photos exactly what we were looking for, but she also has a personality that jived with us right off the bat. She's incredibly creative, understanding, and caring. Long story long, Kristen is the best!

She was able to capture every aspect of our wedding, from getting ready, to the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, the marriage ceremony, cocktail hour, the reception, dancing and more! She was an able leader during the family photoshoots, but also was willing to lean on the help of my sister-in-law who was directing family (the wedding was ~180 people, to give some perspective). She came to us highly recommended by a friend, and she did not disappoint. Lastly, her prices were very reasonable, especially for the metro-Boston area, even factoring in travel costs. We heartily recommend Kristen to anyone in the eastern New England region!

pages of photographers, they all start to look the same after a while. Until I came across Kristen’s portfolio. It is obvious from looking at her work that she is incredible at what she does. But what you can’t see from her portfolio is how amazing she is to work with. Kristen seemlessly blended into the crowd at my wedding.... which is important. She was amazingly nice, and rolled with the punches no matter what came her way. During my first look, her shoe fell off, went over the bridge, and floated down the river and was never to be seen again, and I had not a single clue this even happened. You never knew she was there, but she got all the shots I could have ever wanted and more. I have gotten an unbelievable amount of compliments on my wedding photos, because of the time and effort that were put into capturing, and then editing them. Kristen was phenomenal to work with and very flexible, which made organizing this aspect of my wedding a breeze. If I had to do it again, I would choose her a thousand percent.

we had classic New England unpredictable weather, but she kept her composure and worked her best to get me all the outdoor photos I really wanted. The pictures are simply beautiful. Our engagement shoot was fun and casual, and Kristen was cool letting us include the family dog in some of the photos, which was great. Our wedding photos in Durham and at the Seacoast Science Center are breathtaking, particularly the ocean shots. There were a lot of wonderful candids Kristen took that really captured the spirit of the day. We've received a lot of compliments! We also felt Kristen's pricing was very fair. She was also prompt and responsive when it came to communication throughout the whole process. We absolutely recommend her!

Neither my husband nor I are very confident in front of the camera and can be a bit awkward, but Kristen made us feel super comfortable. She’s laid back and so easy to work with, but she is also incredibly professional and has an amazing eye for detail and great shots. She gave us great directions and helped us to focus on each other. At times she had us sitting cross-legged in a field, laying down in tall grass, dancing through the forest, etc., all of which made for some incredible moments and photos. When we got our engagement photos back (very shortly after we took them!) we were both blown away! We are not photogenic people, and yet Kristen made us look like photogenic people who looked natural in front of a camera. We couldn’t believe it. There were so many good photos to choose from, that I couldn’t wait until we got to work with her again on our wedding day. Before the big day, Kristen checked in to ask us if there were any photos we definitely wanted, what types of photos we cared about having most, and if we had any special requests. We really appreciated this, and it helped to make sure we got the photos we really wanted. On the day of, Kristen and her dad (second photographer) arrived right on time and blended seamlessly into the business of the day. Again, she gave great direction to us and our wedding party to create some great shots, but also stepped back to capture what was happening naturally. During the ceremony and reception, I barely even noticed there were photographers, but they were there and capture so many amazing moments that we will treasure forever. Our favorites are from when Kristen asked us to step away at sunset for a few photos. We loved that we got a little bit of time for just the two of us, and Kristen captured some of our favorite photos of all time. We are eternally grateful to her and her talent. We highly recommend her, and are desperately looking for excuses to work with her in the future!

r father arrived at the end of our getting ready process and stayed until almost the end of the reception. They captured EVERY amazing moment. I was so happy how attentive they were and what good of an eye they both had for perfect moments. When I got my photos (SO QUICKLY – I’ve seen others wait and wait for their photos to come in, so I was surprised how fast I received them), Kristen also sent us a bottle of sparkling wine with our passcode, it was so sweet! The photos came out amazing, so detailed and professional. The detail photos were perfect. I am so happy I went with Kristen, I couldn’t ask for a better portfolio of a day I’ll now never forget!

As being green to the field, Kristen does not posses being assertive enough to get the shots we would have liked, often standing behind people or not getting the right angle. We often felt we had to direct her throughout the day rather than the other way around. This was stressful as there was already a lot to think about that day. I think that at times she focuses so much on the small details she loses sight of bigger things such as the background or garment flaws. I am saddened of the lack of pictures that we will have as memories going forward.
