I couldn't have been happier with my experience at L'amour Bridal!! After months of shopping for my wedding gown at more than 10 bridal salons, I wasn't having any luck. I tried to squeeze in any appointment I cou...ld because many sales people were pressuring me and voicing that timing would soon become an issue.
Needless to say, I started to become a little frustrated and was second guessing myself. Maybe I was being too picky - would I ever find a dress I absolutely love?! YES - at L'amour!
After making an appointment online, I figured it would be just that - another appointment. I was running a little late due to traffic, but my mom (Superwoman) was able to get there on time. She had been by my side at every appointment and knew what I was looking for so they were able to pull a handful of gowns before I even got there. Despite being a few minutes late, I was greeted with the warmest welcome from Hana, the owner, and another employee.
Hana was SO helpful and kind throughout the entire process. I did not feel like I was shopping with a salesperson, but with a friend. There was no pressure or persuasion from her whatsoever. If I didn't LOVE a dress, we moved onto the next one. She was helpful in giving her honest opinions when I asked for them and was very knowledgeable and detail oriented. The one thing that I appreciated most, was that she seems to simply want her brides to have fun and feel their best through the shopping experience as well as walking down the aisle.
L'amour was very respectful of my budget and had a wide variety of gowns that looked like they'd be triple my budget at first glance because of how well made and designed they were. The fabric and details used in the gowns offered are gorgeous.
A dress was pulled that I wouldn't have necessarily picked when looking at it on the hanger, but when I put it on, I was totally taken back and got that feeling every bride talks about! Because it was a gown that I wouldn't have chosen off the rack myself, I spent a few minutes staring in the mirror trying to find SOMETHING I didn't like or a reason why this wouldn't be my dress, but I couldn't - was this it?! It was perfect and I felt so good, like a bride! Hana was quiet and patient, I think she knew before I did.
We spent time walking in it, checking it out in the natural light, adding a veil, etc, and went back back to the dressing room to take a second to really think about it with my Mom. Hana asked "so the real question is, can you imagine walking down the aisle to marry your groom in this?" Waterworks! 100%, yes. I think she even she had teary eyes - which is more reason it felt like such a personal appointment! She was genuinely happy for me.
I am so thankful that I visited and was able to purchase my dress from a store that operates so well and by the nicest people, not to mention it is super cute inside! THANK YOU L'AMOUR & HANA!
