It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are for Loren and everything she did to make our wedding experience so special. We were planning a destination wedding and knew little to nothing about the Northern Michigan area, so having someone we could trust and lean on was incredibly important to us. Loren was the very first coordinator we met with, and even after continuing to meet with others, no one’s warmth, kindness, and genuine care stood out quite like hers.
Although we hired Loren as our day-of coordinator, she never once made us feel like we were a burden in the months leading up to our wedding. I always knew I could text her with a wild question, ask for her opinion on an idea, or reach out when I simply needed some reassurance, and she was always patient, thoughtful, and willing to help. Her knowledge of the Northern Michigan area and surrounding vendors was invaluable while planning from afar and gave us so much peace of mind.
Somehow, through just a handful of Zoom calls, texts, and planning conversations, Loren began to feel less like our coordinator and more like a friend. She has such a warm and calming presence, and you can tell how genuinely she cares about the couples she works with. By the time our wedding weekend arrived, it felt like we had someone in our corner who truly knew us, understood what we envisioned for our day, and cared about it just as much as we did.
On our wedding day, Loren was everything we could have hoped for and more. Being able to fully soak in the day without worrying about timelines, vendors, or all of the little details happening behind the scenes was such a gift. She allowed us to simply be present with each other and the people we love, and I don’t think we realized until afterward just how invaluable that was.
We will forever be grateful that our search for a Michigan coordinator led us to Loren. She went so far beyond what we ever expected from a day-of coordinator and made us feel supported, cared for, and genuinely celebrated throughout the entire experience. Any couple would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side, and we truly cannot recommend her enough. 🤍

I was feeling overwhelmed about a lot of decisions while planning and Loren always set me at ease with her positive attitude and gentle guidance on choices that never felt like she was telling me one way or another. Even though we were out of state, she took the time to get to know us personally and she kept track of all of our concerns, including family dynamics, despite having a very busy month of weddings. Loren served as an advocate for our family and guests with our venue which was unexpectedly understaffed. She and Lacey are a star duo and handled everything from a wardrobe issue of mine to supervising plating in the kitchen. They handled the entire night with smiles and grace. Our event would not have been half as enjoyable for our guests if we did not have Loren there. Throughout the process, Loren was professional, responsive, friendly, and she provided great advice. She had to manage more than 10 day of vendors and did it FLAWLESSLY. If you are considering hiring a wedding coordinator, or even if you’re not, you should hire Lauren. She is so kind, caring, open & honest, and has such a vision! She really listened to what me and my husband envisioned for our wedding day and executed it! She is such a warm personality that we immediately felt comfortable with her and knew that we were in good hands. We planned our wedding from the east coast and she made it as stress free and fun as possible. She kept us on track with our deadlines and it allowed us to enjoy the planning process as we knew that if we had something else we needed to tackle Loren would let us know! The wedding day was better than anything we could have imagined. She helped us pick the most amazing vendor team and we were thrilled with our DJ, florist, venue, food, photographer, everything! Our wedding day went seamlessly without any hiccups thanks to her and her team (who by the way are all so lovely and fun to be around!) She booked all of our vendors for us, then rescheduled all of them and was there to make all my last-minute requests a reality. She kept everything organized and on track, and I didn't have to worry about anything throughout the whole process. I gave her general ideas of what we were looking for and she delivered the perfect product every time. We received so many compliments on our wedding, from the big things like the band and catering to the small details that Loren came up with for us. We had the wedding of our dreams and it was all because of LDT Events. While we were upset about postponing, we are happy we had more time to spend with Loren. We are looking for more reasons to hire LDT for future events. Loren and John are the best and you need to book with them!

I cannot imagine what our wedding day would have been like if we didn’t have her managing all the details - it allowed us to spend time having fun with our guests and enjoy ourselves! After the wedding we got to leave with everyone else and didn’t have to worry about one single thing, LDT handled all of it. Our venue was a blank space that needed all tables, linens, food, etc. to be brought in by outside vendors and there’s absolutely no way I could have coordinated it without her input. The week leading up to the wedding was stressful but Loren was such a calming force and helped us stay organized and stick to the timeline. Beyond worth every penny. She is truly an expert. So professional but also felt like we were dealing with a good friend who just happens to plan weddings! Cannot recommend her enough!<3

SO glad I didn’t continue telling myself that and attempt to do it all myself LOL.
Our ceremony + cocktail hour was in our backyard, then reception was at a venue which made it a little more complicated than having it all in one spot. Loren and her team set up the entire cocktail hour at our house, made sure all the decor was in the right places without me even telling her (because I actually forgot to update my decor list lol), ran the whole ceremony, set up the reception venue on a tight timeframe with only one hour, and made sure the entire wedding went smooth. She is a dang powerhouse I swear!
Wedding day is extremely chaotic and there’s so many things I don’t remember because it was such a whirlwind, but one thing that stands out is how STRESS FREE I was alllllll day! That’s thanks to her for handling absolutely everything for us so I didn’t have to worry or lift a finger.
Not only is she great at what she does, she’s truly one of the sweetest and most caring humans on the planet. She’s not just going through the motions of the day, it’s obvious she genuinely cares about her clients and is excited to be there. I guarantee you’ll gain a friend with her :)
I really could go on and on but I will leave it at this… if you’re debating hiring Loren and her team: DO IT. You’ll save yourself so much stress and headache. I promise!

We had a very DIY wedding, at our own private venue and Loren was a tremendous help. From our meetings leading up to the wedding, to being so responsive whenever I had questions, organizing all my vendors leading up to the big day and the THREE day set up, she blew it out of the park. Loren truly helped make my day perfect and I couldn't recommend her enough. Not only was she just so easy to work with, I built a friendship with her which was even more special. I am very "type A," so I thought I had a handle on most things, but Loren still went through everything with me to make sure everything was ready to go for the day. She contacted all of my vendors the week of the wedding to make sure everything was done on their part. I gave her a list of things to set up in certain places in the venue, and she brought my vision to life effortlessly! When I changed my mind, she made the changes happen in the blink of an eye. s free. There were a few hiccups at the venue and Loren was right there figuring everything she handled everything so well that I didn’t know that anything had gone “wrong” until after the reception. Loren was a joy to work with. At the end of the night she had all of my decorations and gifts packed up and ready to go. She was super flexible with our meetings before to go over details and to pick up my own decorations. She was also great at answering my questions and was easy to get a hold of. Can’t say enough good things about this company 💕

Loren was AWESOME- there is a reason she is booked and busy! I was really nervous about planning a wedding from afar (I live in another state) and she made the process so painless....
I was completely dependent on her for recommendations for vendors and everyone she found was amazing. I never felt rushed or like I had a million decisions to make at the same time, but I always had plenty of options because she kept things on track. Would definitely recommend!

llent communicator, gives great advice + encouragement, and always makes you feel very supported and valued (despite her team managing LOTS of weddings simultaneously - so impressive!). One of the things I loved most about working with Loren is you can always count on her to share her honest opinion (vs. what others might think you want to hear) -- this was super helpful throughout the process. Also want to give a huge shout out to her assistants Caitlin and Rachel - the 3 of them made sure everything ran smoothly and looked beautiful day-of, enabling us and our families to relax and enjoy!

goes above and beyond - not only did she make the entire planning process easy and fun, she truly became a great friend along the way. Throughout the process, Loren was incredibly supportive and always provided advice or encouragement when I needed it, which was especially important during the time when we were forced to postpone and replan our event due to COVID. After two years of planning, the event was even better than I could have imagined, and much of that was due to the incredible amount of work that Loren and her team put in. On the day of, Loren was extremely attentive, making sure that no detail was overlooked. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy ourselves all day and night, knowing that Loren had everything under control. She made sure to constantly check in and her assistant Caitlin was an angel sent from heaven on the day of. She took my vision for my wedding reception and turned it into a fairytale.
