We had such a wonderful experience working with our wedding planner for our destination wedding. From the very beginning, she truly took the time to listen to what we, as a couple,... wanted and made a genuine effort to bring our vision to life. Planning a wedding away from home—especially with unfamiliar vendors—can be incredibly stressful, but she handled so much with care and professionalism, making the overall process feel smooth and manageable.
Of course, like any large-scale event (especially an Indian/Punjabi wedding!), there were a few hiccups along the way. But despite those moments, the overall experience was positive, and we’re so grateful for the dedication and effort she put into making our special days come together.
We do have a couple of suggestions that we believe could make the experience even better for future couples. For Indian weddings in particular, it can be really helpful to not only focus on the bride and groom’s vision but also involve immediate family early in the planning process. These weddings are deeply family-oriented, and aligning expectations upfront can make a big difference in how smoothly everything flows.
Additionally, given the scale and complexity of big weddings, having a small team to support on the wedding days would be incredibly beneficial. Managing everything solo can be overwhelming, and extra hands could help ensure that every detail is executed seamlessly without added stress.
Lastly, we believe that stronger communication in certain moments could have helped avoid a few of the issues we experienced. That said, we completely understand how fast-paced and chaotic weddings of this nature can be, especially with so many moving parts and people involved.
Overall, we truly appreciated her hard work, passion, and commitment. She played a big role in bringing our wedding to life, and we’re thankful for the experience and memories created.
