Derek has been shooting alongside us since 2017 and is who shoots our associate video packages (when Nick isn't shooting!). He shoots in a similar style and delivers the same stunning videos that we are known for!

Sam has been with us since 2020! He is willing to travel across Maine to capture weddings for us or shoot alongside me as my 2nd videographer.

We are so lucky to have gotten Life in Focus for our wedding, and couldn't be happier with our experience. One week before our wedding, our planner let us know that a videographer she'd worked with (Nick) happened to have an opening for our wedding date the upcoming weekend. We hadn't initially budgeted for video, but it felt like fate, so we reached out and quickly connected with Nick. His style was similar to what we'd wanted -- cinematic, authentic, not overly edited. He was laidback and friendly and flexible, and we decided to take a chance. We are SO SO glad we did! Our wedding was on Chebeague Island, Maine -- which is only reachable by boat. Nick and his team worked with us and came earlier than they needed to, capturing amazing drone footage and importantly, footage of our first look, even though we initially said that they didn't need to arrive in time for it. Nick is not only generous with his time, but also brings such clear attention to detail and thoughtfulness to his craft. We just received our final video, and were struck by the way he captured not only us as a couple, but our guests––precious moments that we wouldn't have otherwise seen, including intentional shots of our grandparents, who we know won't be with us forever. It's almost heartbreaking to imagine that we weren't going to have a videographer document our wedding -- because we can't imagine NOT having Nick and his team part of our special day! We are so glad to have worked with Life in Focus, and know we'll treasure the footage he so carefully captured for decades to come.

Nick and his team brought our wedding to life EXACTLY how we asked! We couldn't be more excited. We didn't want a super dramatic video and Nick took that want and turned it into a beautiful video we will cherish forever (for anyone questioning hiring a videographer, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND). Nick gave us raw footage of the day too which is super special, to be able to show the behind the scenes to our kids one day. Nick responded to emails quickly and pretty much said "yes" to everything I asked. He made me and my partner feel comfortable in front of the camera which is soo important (let's be real, who is?). He had worked with our photographer before (Natalia Provencher) and the energy they brought to the day matched our energy perfectly. I cannot recommend Nick enough. He was so great and pleasant to work with. And his work is phenomenal. The variety of video he does is amazing - he accommodates to each person and what they need. I highly recommend Nick and his team at Life in Focus! We weren’t planning on having a videographer and it wasn’t until the weekend before our wedding that I started to regret the decision and frantically reached out to see if Nick still had availability. He responded promptly to my last minute inquiry and fortunately for us, one of Nick’s associates, Sam was available to capture our big day. Sam did an amazing job the day of the wedding. He was calm, professional, and so nice. Nick then edited all the footage from the wedding for us. We got our sneak peek shortly after the wedding and then Nick recently shared our video and ceremony footage with us. The editing is incredible and the video captured so many amazing moments from our wedding. Working with “Life in Focus” was hands down the best decision we could have made for videography. They were easy to work with, had a fantastic understanding of what we were looking for, and the end product far exceeded our expectations. The videographer showed up early on the day of the wedding and got some amazing drone footage shots. He was professional, and really fun to work with. After the wedding, they were quick to turn around a sneak preview which I was able to share with family and friends. A short time later, we received the final product of our wedding video and it was absolutely amazing. The sound and video quality were top notch, and the editing was absolutely outstanding. If you make the choice to go with “Life in Focus” for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!

We hired Nick and his partner for our wedding and could not be more happy with the results. Nick had different packages to chose from for different budgets and conveyed those options and pricing very clearly, detailed, and easy to understand. Nick captured all the best details of our wedding day and made an incredible film with amazing edits, transitions, and music. We got the package that also has all of the RAW footage in it which is amazing. All files are very well organized and labeled on the hard drive he mailed us to view all of the footage and videos he created on which is awesome! I didn't know we would be getting everything on a hard drive which is perfect since i'm someone who needs desperately to make space on my computer so that worked out for me!. Nick had all of the footage edited and the drive sent out to us in under a month which is also impressive and awesome! Nick also had numerous recommendations for photographers. We went with one of his recommendations and were also over the moon happy with out photographer. 100% recommend Nick for all of your videography needs.

I can't say enough kind words about working with Nick for our wedding video. We originally started to plan our wedding for September 2020 with Nick as our videographer, but life had other plans for us and we finally celebrated our marriage in September of 2022. Nick was so responsive and patient to work with and rolled with our various date changes too. He even went as far as to let one of our groomsmen borrow a shirt the day of our wedding! Our wedding video is a keepsake that we will always treasure and is the perfect mix of speeches, vows, scenes and music. He is truly talented beyond words and I would not think twice about hiring him to capture your big day!

Nick and his team were awesome! From the very start Nick was super quick and responsive to all of our questions and requests. He was very informative, patient, and easy to work with. On our wedding day we worked with Austin and Nico from his team and they were the best! They provided photo, video, drone footage and captured a ton of majestic moments for us! I work in digital marketing for a living so I'm definitely on the "pickier" side when it comes to creative/visuals and they were very impressive! From prep/setting up to getting ready, to the ceremony and all the way through the reception they captured it all beautifully! Besides being professional and talented they were also so fun! Our wedding party loved them. We got quite a few photos turned around very very quickly that we were able to share immediately that same weekend of our wedding! We were incredibly excited about that since we could see the amazing shots they got along with being able to share them so quickly! <3 We even got a hard copy of our photos/videos to ensure that we have them forever! Nick provided all of our files on a custom USB for us engraved with our names and wedding date. Love love love! You can't go wrong booking Nick and his Life in Focus team. Nick is absolutely amazing and I could not recommend Life in Focus Videography more. He accommodated our parents' requests for a longer cinematic film and was so understanding when we had to switch wedding venues due to COVID-19. Nick and his assistant were so professional and laid back while capturing special moments on the wedding day that at times we forgot they were there! Nick filmed our wedding in July 2021 in Portsmouth, NH. We were a postponed covid wedding and throughout the whole planning process Nick was incredibly encouraging, flexible and responsive. What Nick was able to capture on our wedding day was beyond perfect. The work that Nick was able to put in as one man would justify having a three person team. When we received the completed films, we were at a loss for words. He was able to capture the best highlights but also the natural vibe of our wedding day. We can’t say enough about Nick and Life in Focus! From the time we started communicating he was super easy going and responsive, and we were super impressed with all of his work that we had seen beforehand. Fast forward our wedding day, and he truly went wayyyyy above and beyond. We had a lovely nor’easter that day, and he and his second shooter Nico, didnt hesitate to go outside with us to capture our first look. I know they got totally soaking wet and must have been so uncomfortable, but they didn’t show it and we have the most incredible footage!!! We got teasers even before we left for our honeymoon. We felt like the video and music he chose really fit our vibe. The films were beyond amazing and we must have watched them a million times. We still get huge smiles on our faces every one we watch. Wow do we feel that lucky that we had Nick and his team to capture our wedding day!! Nick was recommended to us by our venue, and from the second we reached out to him we knew he was the perfect choice as our videographer. We had a lot of stress leading up to the wedding, but the wedding video was not one of them because Nick had all my trust that he would produce amazing footage of our big day- and he did not disappoint!!! His communication with us was top notch, he was on top of every detail and answered all our questions promptly. On the day of the wedding, his professionalism, calm presence and organization was so appreciated!! He captured ALL of the love and beauty of our day and we received our videos shortly after the wedding! We have probably watched them a 100 times already because we just love them so much!!! We were on the fence about hiring a videographer until we saw some of Nick's work. I couldn't stop watching his videos, the artistic and theatrical approach, and how succinctly he was able to tell the story of each wedding. Not only did he deliver a timeless masterpiece that we will enjoy looking back at throughout our lives, but him and Hannah were super accommodating, helping us to navigate around a stressful pandemic wedding. I was also thrilled with the DRONE footage that came through. Nick filmed our wedding in June 2021 and did an absolutely wonderful job! Although we barely noticed him filming (before ceremony, during ceremony and reception), he captured every important moment. The videos he provided us came quickly and truly are perfect - I watch them over and over all the time. You can tell he is artistic, talented and passionate about what he does. Nick at Life in Focus was absolutely, hands down, simply amazing. Not only was he great to work with, but he made the wedding video of our dreams come to life. I’m not kidding when I say my husband and I were speechless after we watched it. It is elegant, fun, funny, and so memorable. Nick was professional, kind, and we didn’t even notice he was there!! He blended right in which made for some amazing candid shots. Not to mention that he was SO fast with getting our teaser video and full video to us and was always so prompt with responding to our emails. We can’t say enough great things about Nick. Nick is simply the best. Having a videographer was a must have for our wedding day, and knowing this it was what we spent the most time researching. After finding Life in Focus we knew it was the perfect fit. Nick was communicative throughout the past year while planning a wedding during COVID. On our wedding day Nick's professionalism and calm demeanor put my husband and I immediately at ease. I remember thinking (and saying) throughout the day how kind, patient and wonderful Nick was while capturing such a busy day. He was a welcomed addition to every moment and our photographer had a blast working alongside him . After watching our wedding video and teaser it was apparent that Nick captured the energy of our wedding perfectly, in a way I am not sure anyone else could have done. Nick was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was so responsive while planning our wedding and during the video editing. We could not have asked for better communication. We had to switch our big wedding to a small backyard ceremony due to Covid. Nick help to make our day still feel so special! He captured everything we could have wanted. Leading up to our wedding, I watched dozens of different wedding videos and when I found Nick and Life in Focus, I knew that this was the perfect person to tell our story. His videos are like watching a love story unfold and I loved watching (and crying) to all of his work. Nick was super responsive via email and helped to answer all of our questions about the process. The day of our wedding, we hardly knew Nick was there. He blended in behind the scenes while capturing every moment in detail. Nick got our wedding video back to us faster than I even thought possible and when it arrived, we watched them over and over again. He captured and blended all the moments of the day to perfection and his drone work is unreal. If you are looking for a Videographer, you can stop now - you’ve found your guy! Nick is absolutely wonderful to work with and the footage he captures and videos he produces will bring you to tears, every time. Nick - thank you so much for capturing our wedding day! One reason we really wanted our entire day on video, was because some of our very special loved ones were not able to make the trip and be with us on our wedding day. In less than a month, Nick had ALL of our wedding videos and footage done!! Being able to re-watch and share our day with family and friends, was so special. We have shared our footage with so many people and everyone is just in awe of Nick’s artistic style and ability to capture a moment perfectly and creatively pull our entire day together into the most beautiful videos. I can’t stop watching!! Nick is extremely professional, easy-going, and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I thought Nick and his assistant partnered very throughly and respectfully with our two photographers at the wedding, so both parties were able to capture all of our precious moments, without compromising the quality of the photos or videos. I actually had a bridesmaid who recently got engaged, ask me if we had a videographer, because she couldn’t remember! (This shows just how amazingly talented Nick is! - To be able to capture everything and not miss a single moment of our day, yet also be non-intrusive to guests!). At certain times throughout the day, Nick would ask if we had a few moments to come with him - I’m so happy he pulled us aside, because those are some of my favorite clips from our day! (His drone footage is incredible!) The day goes by so fast and my husband and I said so many times during our wedding and the days/months after, how happy we are to have hired Nick as our videographer. Videos bring to life the memories from our day, so much more than photos. Nick knew and captured moments and pieces of our day that I didn’t even know I would cherish so dearly when it was all over. I am SO THANKFUL to have found Nick. This was one of the best, if not, THE BEST investment we made in our wedding day. My sister is getting married this year and I am constantly telling her that she NEEDS Nick!

We loved working with Nick for our wedding day! At first, we were not sure we wanted to book a videographer, but after working with Nick and seeing the final product, we are so glad that we did! One of the best things about him, apart from his amazing shooting and editing talent, is the fact that our guests hardly noticed he was there! He managed to be inconspicuous while still capturing the happiest, funniest, and most intimate moments. He also worked really well with our photographer and they were able to collaborate in a really positive way. One of the most common compliments we get about our wedding is that there was such a positive vibe all around, and Nick captured all of that beautifully. An added bonus was the drone footage that captured stunning aerial views of the location. We’ve loved reliving our day through our wedding video and sharing the memories all over again with our loved ones. We highly recommend Nick and Life In Focus!

Nick and his crew did such an incredible job capturing our wedding! Most of the time, they were so discrete that we didn't even see them getting all the footage, yet somehow, they managed to quietly captured the WHOLE day!!! We just received all the videos and we cannot stop watching them! The drone footage is incredible and adds such a surprising and fun twist to the videos! Holy crap! Nick exceeded all of our expectations. He was able to capture extra drone footage, was right on the dance floor the entire night, and worked super well with our photographer. He was super attentive to our needs and our wishes of wanting specific moments captured. Also he did a fantastic job capturing different angles. We cannot wait to see the video!

FROM TRAILER TO FEATURE LENGTH! Nick was such a pleasure to work with, and have with us, as a videographer on our wedding day in Kennebunkport, Maine this summer. He's got a creative eye and was open to making small changes so that the videos provided were everything we hoped for and more. I remember sitting down to watch my parents wedding video with them (my have times changed,) but can't wait to be able to do the same in years to come and relive every moment with these. I'm not sure how we stumbled on to Nick but we are certainly happy we did. The videos he has on his site will give you a good idea of his style, but it is quite a different experience to see your own video! Nick was one of our more responsive vendors and balanced giving us guidance with hearing what our preferences would be. Our whole experience blew away our expectations and we have received many compliments for the videos he created. Thank you so much for capturing our special day!

I knew that I wanted a wedding videographer but didn't know where to look. After extensive research, I found Nick and Life in Focus. Nick was very responsive to my questions during the vendor search and wedding planning, helped provide feedback and guidance, and helped us plan to ensure that we got video of all of the wedding events. His pricing is fair, and his packages are flexible as well. After seeing our original videos in the package, I wanted to add some additional video options (I wanted everything from our wedding!) and he was able to turn that around quickly! We had a very complicated wedding logistically, but Nick and his team were great in helping us coordinate everything! He had never filmed our wedding or reception location before, but you would have never known it! On our wedding day, Nick did an incredible job of navigating trolleys, ferrys, and water taxis to capture priceless footage of our wedding. He was so professional but was almost invisible at times, not disrupting any of the wedding events. At times, I didn't even know he was there until I was viewing the video after the fact. He was able to turn around our wedding video teaser within 2 weeks, with the rest of our videos shortly after. I seriously can't stop watching them! We were able to see such special moments from our wedding, including our first look vows, Father/Daughter Dance, incredible candids on the dance floor, and some beautiful drone shots of Portland and Peaks Island. It looked like a documentary of the best day of our lives! It looked so much better than I could have ever imaged.I had multiple guests who watched the video comment that it was the best wedding video that they've ever seen! 10/10 would recommend Nick from Life in Focus - you won't be disappointed!

We hired Nick for our wedding in June 2019. He spoke with us over the phone ahead of the wedding to get an idea of what we wanted, and was extremely professional and easy to work with. He produced a 1-minute teaser and a 7-minute video of our wedding, both of which were edited beautifully and delivered within weeks of the event. He was also kind enough to send us the raw footage of our ceremony. He also used a drone to get footage of the venue and surrounding area which was a cool edition to the videos. Nick was courteous, arrived on time, and captured great moments from our day. We would highly recommend him.

We had our wedding June 8th and we received our wedding video in less then 2 weeks!!! It’s INCREDIBLE!!! It was beautifully packaged, we can’t stop watching it, it’s like living the whole day all over again. I first found out about Life in Focus from my now brother-in-law. Nick from Life in Focus was their videographer at their wedding in 2017. After seeing their wedding video, I thought it was so great. When we got engaged, I knew I wanted to have a videographer to capture what photos can't. We weren't sure if we would be able to afford it, but Nick was great with working with our budget. If your on the fence about whether or not you should get a videographer, you should. After the wedding, I felt like I couldn't remember everything because the day was such a blur. About a week after the wedding, we received a trailer from Nick, and I knew right then and there that we made the right decision. We could not wait for the full video which came about a week after that. It was so nice to be able to watch these videos and remember the love and fun that we had that day. We were still waiting for our photos from our photographer to come back, but it was nice to have to the video to watch in the meantime. I'm so happy that we will have this video to watch for the years to come and someday show our kids. I would definitely recommend Life in Focus to anyone that is looking for a great videographer.

We hired Nick a few months before our wedding realizing we may want to watch back videos one day. I can’t even describe how grateful and happy we are that we hired Nick for our special day. The videos that he created for us were absolutely incredible and beyond my expectations completely. He was so professional and timely. He was also so discrete I don’t think anyone who attended the wedding realized there was a videographer capturing everything. My sister is getting married next year and will be using Nick as well; I would highly recommend him to anyone getting married. You will not be disappointed and the videos will last a lifetime!

Like many others, we were on the fence as to whether we wanted to hire a videographer for our wedding. A couple months before our big day, we ended up deciding to explore adding video afraid we’d regret not capturing different moments. We ended up going with Nick at Life in Focus and could not have been happier with our decision. We couldn’t believe we even questioned it after seeing our videos (even my husband who still questioned it until our wedding day). Here are examples of why: - He was so responsive throughout the process - I don’t think we ever waited more than a day for a response - He was open to capturing an Indian ceremony even though he had never seen one before - A portion was outdoors in the middle of a Nor’easter, and he stuck it out, cameras and all - We barely knew he was there yet everything was captured - We had a one minute teaser in time to share at a second reception the following weekend (less than a week turnaround time) - We had an updated teaser, trailer, feature, and ceremony cut less than 4 weeks after the wedding - The videos told a story and were well laid out; they made us laugh, tear up, and smile - We shared the trailer with friends/family and direct quotes from them included it was the best wedding video they have ever seen, they cried all over again, and it was like a fairytale Nick - thank you so much for capturing our day and turning it into something we will watch over and over again (we already have!)!

Hey Nick, I wanted to let you know we watched the videos the first night we were home and have loved them ever since. I can’t tell you how many times we have re-watched them! My parents and in-laws have watched them and taken them with them to show all our extended family and friends. And each time we laugh and cry and find some new detail to appreciate! You captured so much of what we loved about the weekend and the quality of your work - the filming, the picture and sound quality and the editing you did - are all phenomenal. We have all been blown away by it! I love the voice overs and the way you pieced in bits from different peoples speeches. I love the candid moments you captured and the way you incorporated each family member which means so so much to us! And I love the drone shots and the way we were able to see the parties and houses and set up all from different angles than we would have ever seen otherwise. Nick and Sabrina were phenomenal. Working with Nick in the lead-up to our wedding day was a pleasure, and once the day finally arrived, everything was like magic. One thing I did not realize was just how fast the day goes by! So many things are happening at once, and it’s hard to take it all in. Nick and Sabrina worked seamlessly with our photographer, and they captured every moment. From getting ready to the ceremony to the dances to the cake cutting, they got everything! Right after we got back from the honeymoon, we found a box waiting for us from Nick. At that moment, getting back from the vacation of a lifetime and thinking about both going back to work, nothing in the world could have made us happier than finding that box from Nick! Inside was a drive containing two of the best produced, most professional, and most moving videos you could possibly imagine. They were perfect… it felt like Nick and Sabrina knew us better than anybody else. In addition to those videos, we also had copies of the ceremony and speeches, and, best of all, raw footage from throughout the day! That meant we could not only relive every part of the day, but even get to see things we weren’t in the room for! We still haven’t watched through all of it! In short, working with Nick and Sabrina is the best decision you could possibly make for your wedding day!! (other than who you are going to marry) True professionals and artists, Life in Focus is the only way to go!

I think we were among the first to to have Nick tape our wedding. He did a wonderful job covering the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, and the reception on a beautiful summer day at the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion in Portsmouth, NH. Very nice job of editing live action and the blending of music and especially capturing details, a chandelier, a table setting, a bagpiper, ribbons fluttering on the breeze, and all the pretty elements that went into it. David and I wore formal Kilts, so it's great having the animation of that on video. Getting married is such a busy affair with everyone you know and love. It's great to have Nick's special take to find out what happened, all the things you missed while it was going on. Four years on, the memory is kept fresh by Nick's fine work. We see that he's grown over the years as well. It's a testimony to his creativity that one can get misty watching other people's wedding videos.

My husband and I were not planning on having a videographer at our wedding initially. About 6 months before our wedding, we made a few changes to our ceremony, adding personal touches to it, and it was at that moment, we realized how amazing it would be to have a videographer. We reached out to Nick - a recommendation from our venue as he has done some work there previously - and we are so unbelievably happy we did! He was so responsive and for someone as type A as myself, it was nice that I didn’t have to send follow up emails for anything! The day of our wedding, Nick showed up on time and was so flexible with my vision and requests - including heading out to the beach to record the guys doing a polar plunge! Nick used a drone to capture some awesome footage during our first look and ceremony. Nick made sure we got all of the “key” moments captured before he headed out and I’m so grateful for the reminder to cut the cake at a reasonable time! By the time we got back from our honeymoon, a flash drive with our highlight video and all the raw footage was waiting for us. My husband and I love watching the video. It allows us to relive the day, bringing tears to our eyes and smiles to our faces. Friends and family who have seen the video have said the same. We are so thrilled we worked with Nick and the only regret we have is that we won’t have another wedding for him to record!

Nick’s passion, professionalism, and unmatched attention to detail will drive him far in life! It is hard to put into words, let a lone a short review, how incredibly impressed we were with Nick Eaton’s superb talent and genuine passion for videography. Nick captured EVERYTHING and in doing so was not only respectful of both our time and space, but he was discreet! He was so discreet in filming/documenting our wedding it felt as though he was just another one of our wedding guests. Nick spent over 17 hours filming our wedding day in July 2016, masterfully editing all of the day’s events, and what were otherwise unseen moments, into a beautifully orchestrated video. He took such great care in selecting the music to set the footage to, even incorporating the Maori song three of our wedding guests performed for us. Nick was so wonderful and professional to work with! We are so glad we hired him to film our wedding. He captured all of the shots we wanted and even some shots we didn't know we wanted (like some beautiful sweeping drone shots of the venue). He has mastered the art of stealth-- I didn't notice his presence at all, which put me in awe as I watched our videos and realized how close he was to us the whole night. Nick created a trailer and a full length video for us and they both came out wonderfully-- we've received so many compliments! After everything was said and done, Nick also so kindly provided us with some additional raw footage of speeches, etc that didn't make it into our full length video.
