Mike did an incredible job from start to finish. He's super friendly and respectful, and his work is very thorough and detailed. He kept great communication and offered plenty of help and ideas when we were indecisive! We were thrilled with his interactions with our guests and how he kept them and us entertained all night! We wanted a full dance floor for the whole reception, and Mike made that happen. He made the ceremony flow extremely smooth as well. We have absolutely no complaints!

DJ Mikey was literally amazing. He met with us via zoom and phone call multiple time before the wedding to ensure all of our details were ironed out. As we were discussing and deciding on the finer details, DJ Mikey always made himself available. Also, he did a great job reading the room and playing what made people dance on our wedding day. We also used Lights Out Entertainment for a photobooth. DJ Mikey took like to gather inspiration from our wedding decor, invites, etc. to create effects for the photobooth. JT was the DJ for our wedding on 4/27/24. He was absolutely the best DJ we could have asked for. He listened to what my husband and I truly wanted and did that and more. He was constantly checking on my husband and I during our reception which was amazing. You will not go wrong if you choose this vendor for your wedding!

DJ Mike was the BEST! Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to play at our wedding. He was personable and so kind and patient! When we had questions, he would answer them right away! Highly recommend and will definitely have him again!

We hired Michael to be our DJ based on the high recommendations we received from several individuals we consulted. We arranged a meeting to discuss our preferences, and he proved to be instrumental in simplifying the planning process. Our wedding day unfolded exactly as we had envisioned, with seamless execution. Michael graciously accommodated song requests from our guests and even treated everyone, including our parents, to a few slow dance numbers that filled the dance floor. Witnessing our parents dance was more than an unexpected and delightful surprise for both of us.

Mike took the time to understand both my wife and me, along with our concerns. We were the last among our group of friends to get married, which provided us with the opportunity to explore numerous entertainment options in the area. We received numerous compliments about Mike, from his radio-worthy voice to the enjoyment our guests experienced. One of our close friends even expressed they wished that they had hired him for their own wedding. Our goal was to create a wedding that combined a party atmosphere with the elegant nature of our wedding day, and Mike over-delivered on that vision.

I'm thrilled to write this review for our wedding DJ Mikey! From the moment we connected, their communication was impeccable. He took the time to understand our music preferences and wedding vibe. On our wedding day, his performance was nothing short of exceptional. The dance floor was alive throughout the night, thanks to his fantastic song choices and seamless transitions between all the nights moments. What truly stood out was how he effortlessly managed the entire event, making everything so easy and fun for us and our guests. We are certain our wedding wouldn't have so much fun without him! JT and Michael were very easy to communicate and work with through the entire planning process. Their website has all the tools and timelines you need to plan ahead and they were very helpful with our non-traditional elements we wanted to include into our ceremony and reception. JT did awesome before, during, and after our wedding, and I couldn't be happier! We chose what is now called the Classic option and added on the Magic Mirror Photo Booth. Having an attendant at the photo booth was so great! It was a hit with our guests and we got a perfect photo album with copies of all the pictures that our guests took as a keepsake. 11/10 score!

We worked with JT at Lights Out Entertainment! It was an amazing decision to have him be our DJ on our wedding day! We talked multiple times before the big day to discuss what was most important to us on our wedding day. We asked JT to really keep the party going all night and he delivered... Our dance floor was never empty and ALWAYS full of life! We appreciated the responsiveness of JT and how he took everything we asked for and made it all a reality. Would recommend him, and their company, again and again!

We are very glad we hired Mike to be our wedding dj. He was very responsive and receptive to our ideas and perfectly captured the vibe we wanted on our special day. We had so many compliments on the music at our wedding. I also really appreciated that he played music at the perfect volume, so guests could still hear each other talk. Mike was absolutely incredible for our wedding! We had a very nerdy wedding and Mike 100% understood the assignment! Between lightsaber salutes and battles, he brought some incredible ideas to the table! Plus he put up with our ridiculous requests without question! He was also incredibly attentive and several times came up to either me or my husband to double check that things were how we wanted and made sure everything was going smoothly and on time. We would absolutely recommend Lights Out!!

Mike was fantastic at our wedding. He kept the energy high all night and really got into some of the different things we added in during the night. From our introduction to our first dance to our final private dance, he made sure everything went perfect for our special day. We loved working with him and would recommend him for anything.

We loved JT! He was so easy to work with and so helpful to help us come up with unique songs that captured out personality for the ceremony, dinner, and reception. He kept the party going all night long and even helped by switching some last minute songs to include my flower girl and ring bearer at a moments notice. He picked up on the vibe and transitioned to songs that kept our guests happy and dancing. THE BEST!

Absolutely amazing- Mike N kept the music flowing and the excitement high through the whole reception- us in was loud enough to keep everyone on the dance floor but no so loud that we couldn’t talk to our guests. Would definitely recommend

Finding vendors and planning a wedding during a pandemic was less than ideal, but Mike was very accommodating throughout the process with regular meetings, checklists, and an extremely organized online planner. He took the time to get to know what kind of an event we were hoping for and worked well with our other vendors to ensure the sound and timing was just what we imagined from the pre-ceremony to the grand exit. This man is a genius. Yes, I said GENIUS!! DJ Mikey is a one of a kind find in this world right now. He took such good care of our needs for our wedding. From the first phone call we had, we knew we wanted to have him take care of the music for our special day. Where to begin?! In the midst of COVID and from 1,100 miles away Michael aka DJ Mikey helped us navigate the music, the timeline, special requests, the I don’t knows, and put our minds at rest that no wedding is perfect but it is perfectly memorable. With a small gathering in a field with a circus tent, a very eclectic play list and DJ Mikey in the booth, the dance floor was never empty. Everyone at our wedding was raving all night (and still are weeks later)about our DJ. He kept them dancing, laughing and on their toes with every song he played. We can't say enough good things about Mike! Our daughter's wedding ceremony was in our backyard and Mike handled all of the ceremony music, sound, mic'ed the officiant and groom, etc. He was ready for every possible scenario (which included a really windy day). No longer were the "I do's" done then he was setting up at the reception venue. His equipment worked perfectly for both venues, his communication and prep during wedding planning were always timely and professional. He had the guests up and dancing early and the bride and groom were still dancing when we started to tear down. Mike did a great job choosing the music for the crowd and honoring the bride and groom's musical tastes. His announcements were always appropriate and fun, never overbearing or cheesy. We could not have been more pleased. Mike is an absolute pro! We would recommend him to our closet friends.

JT with Lights Out Entertainment was a phenomenal DJ and amazing person to work with. He went above and beyond his duties and everything he did was perfect: the music, day-of timeline, coordination with the venue and photographers, and keeping me sane leading up to wedding day and during the event. He was always available for a quick phone call or longer Skype session. He offered me recommendations when I was unsure of specific activities (bouquet toss, parent-children dances, etc) and was extremely flexible with all of my non-traditional additions. He integrated my husband and my music tastes so well and brought so many to the dance floor. DJ Mikey was fantastic to work with! He walked us through every step of the process of picking our music and worked with our photographer and videographer on timing. He kept the party fun and going! At one point during my first dance with my husband, my bustle fell down and my dance with my dad was next. DJ Mikey was able to stall with a story about me and my dad while my mom fixed my bustle. First, just let me say that DJ Mikey completely set the tone for our amazing wedding! With his upbeat, yet professional demeanor, he helped make our guests feel welcomed and ready to dance from pre-ceremony through the end of our reception. He accurately read the room and kept the loving, fun, community spirit alive all evening. The lighting in the reception hall was top notch. He interacted with our guests, and we received SO many comments about how much they loved him. Aside from the day-of, he was also very communicative and receptive about what we wanted throughout the planning process, offering suggestions when we were unsure, and finding obscure songs that were special to us. If I could give him 1000/5 stars, I would do so in a heartbeat. Don’t even look for another DJ!! You’ve found him!

Mike Nickolich was a phenomenal DJ for us and our wedding. He was more on top of some of the planning aspects than we were and took care of and asked us questions about things we hadn't even thought of. Through the evening he did a wonderful job of communicating with us and letting us know what was going on since we had some rain and our timeline had to get pushed around. He was well organized and professional and it's apparent that he's been doing this for a while and really good at it too. He was a wonderful DJ and MC and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for any occasion!

We also really liked that we knew our DJ was going to be Michael when we booked, when we asked other Companies who our dj will be it felt like we were getting the run around. Something we were not comfortable with. Leading up to the big day: All in all we had a few meetings with Mike before our wedding day. He was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls and very understanding of what our needs and preferences were. He even made a custom edit for our dance song and sent it to us a few weeks before so we could practice dancing. Day of the wedding: Mike was amazing! He showed up well before he said he would to set up. Even let my maid of honor practice her reading before the ceremony. She was nervous about using a microphone but that run through put her at ease. If I could give more stars I would! Even from the beginning, Mike was so easy to work with! We had fun working with him up to and during our wedding! Mike was quick on his feet and worked with some of our last minute schedule changes and requests. Most importantly, he kept the party going by making sure our guests enjoyed themselves. It was fantastic and I would absolutely recommend him for any event!
