Lisa was fantastic to work with in the months prior and the day of my Vashon Island wedding. She offered great skin care tips and product recommendations months in advance and made me feel extremely comfortable asking questions regarding my skin journey. When our second stylist was unexpectedly unable to make it, Lisa scrambled to find an alternative on the island that could assist with hair and makeup. I hired Lisa for hair and makeup for my destination wedding in Costa Rica - for both my welcome party and the wedding day. If you are into the "model off-duty" look, this is your girl, but at the end of the day I'm confident she could make any vision come to life. For my welcome party I wanted to do a full 90s-style, playful updo, and for my wedding day I wanted to pivot to a sleek and classic bun. I showed her a few inspo photos for each, and she just got it. Both styles were so different, and she executed them both perfectly - in each case even better than what I had envisioned. - She is so knowledgeable! She offers a skin consultation as part of her bridal package - take it! I have incredibly sensitive skin, as well as psoriasis, so I like to think I've done a good job of educating myself on all things skin, ingredients, and what works for me. I started having a bad dermatitis reaction a few months before my wedding that wouldn't go away and none of my usual solves were working. Feeling desperate, I finally took her up on the consultation, and it was a game-changer. She turned me onto a few products that completely got my skin back on track, helped tailor my makeup for sensitive skin, and honestly taught me a lot of new things. Even if you aren't having a specific issue, I'd still recommend this service. You are guaranteed to learn a lot! - She is so fun! Between my trial, welcome party, and wedding day, Lisa spent A LOT of time with me over the week. From our first meeting she felt like a part of our crew and was so enjoyable to work with. Everyone in my family that she serviced was raving about her, and her demeanor really helped me stay my calm, collected self, even on my wedding day.

Lisa did a phenomenal job of my hair & make up for my wedding in Costa Rica. I'm not sure what magic she pulled, but everything stayed in place perfectly throughout the day and evening (and we're talking crazy heat, humidity and ocean winds!). Also, communication beforehand with Lisa was really easy, and she was very organized, responsive and thoughtful in making sure every detail was taken care of for the big day. Highly recommend!

Lisa did my bridal hair and makeup for my wedding on July 30, 2022. I'm very happy with the whole experience! I was looking for a makeup/hair artist who had experience with different skin tones and hair types, and who would be able to create a look for me that felt natural and like myself, but at the same time elegant and special for the wedding. I also really like that Lisa offers a skin care consultation beforehand. For my hair/makeup trial, I went with a hair down option, but since there was a heat wave on the wedding weekend, I asked her to do an updo on the wedding day. And it looked fantastic! I really appreciated that the makeup looked great, and like it did at the trial, and that the new updo she created on the wedding day looked really lovely. Thank you, Lisa!

There are no words to describe Lisa and the amazing services she gave me and my bridesmaids on my special day. Lisa was not only amazing at hair and makeup, but she essentially took over taking care of me the entire day of the wedding, which was VERY much appreciated. Lisa is an extraordinary hair and makeup artist. I loved working with her for our elopement at Mt. Rainier in September. She was skillful in exploring and working out my dream hair and makeup ideas. Lisa is great at communicating – we were able to coordinate all of the important details from across the country and via Zoom. On the day of our elopement, she came fully prepared and was a joy to get to know during the process. Her work withstood a 6 mile hike for our wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better artist to work with.

I feel so fortunate to have worked with Lisa for my bridal makeup. I'm not good with makeup myself and knew I wanted to leave it to a professional to make me feel most confident for the wedding. I told her my vision for a timeless, elegant look where I still looked like myself, just more polished (though I didn't know the specifics of how to get there). She immediately put me at ease during our trial session, asking questions and talking me through her process- colors that would make my green eyes pop, how to celebrate my full brows. She's an expert and a partner, asking for feedback on if the look matched my vision and making small adjustments. Her attention to detail is incredible and I really appreciate her conscientiousness of health & safety as well as elevating her cleaning process in between stylings. My whole bridal party looked and felt great all day (80 degrees and full sun in late September- not what we were expecting!). She gave us each tips for touchups and additional lip color to keep our looks fresh throughout the celebration. Beyond her clear talents, Lisa is an incredible person and such fun to be around. We all learned from and laughed with Lisa while getting ready. I highly recommend working with Lisa!

Lisa is a true genius at her craft! Not only did she create a look for my wedding day that made me feel like a true queen, she was also clean, professional, and wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. She listened to my requests and delivered exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I have never felt more beautiful while still feeling completely like myself. Lisa is such a quality professional! You can tell she has absolutely mastered the minimalist makeup look. She made me and all of my bridesmaids feel beautiful, was super flexible, made adjustments when asked, provided great suggestions, and was very communicative and punctual. Great energy and super easy to work with! Lisa is very knowledgeable in her craft. She will never try to make you look like someone else, rather, the most beautiful version of yourself. She worked with my skin type and made the best suggestion with my hair (adding extensions for that extra pop and glamorous look). I loved everything about my look as well as my bridesmaids. Lisa is a true, professional, master of her craft! She walks the, sometimes tough, balance of elevating beauty while still making it feel natural, brilliantly. She is also incredibly knowledgable about product, skincare, and sanitary measures during these wild times. On top of being insanely talented, she's just a lovely presence to be around on the day of your wedding. Our day had a lot of external stress factors at play and Lisa navigated each curveball thrown her way with grace and kindness. She was the best sounding board to talk to and sometimes just to comfortably sit in the silence that I needed. While I truly felt the most beautiful that I have ever in my life- my most favorite thing was to watch my mom genuinely feel as beautiful as we all know her to be. She was a joy to collaborate with on my look, and I really felt like she was making every effort to create something that reflected what I was looking for, rather than trying to fit me with a cookie-cutter solution. Lisa is great. She is so sweet and listens to your ideas and feedback to make sure you have exactly what you want on your wedding day. I had some unrealistic hair pins on my inspo page. She explained why those styles would not last the night and wanted to make sure we found a hair style that would stand up to photos, dancing, etc. Having a trial with her was awesome. She really took the time to figure out what my hair would do and what kind of makeup coverage I wanted. We made some small adjustments day of and it was perfect. My hair and makeup lasted all night.

I hired Lisa's services for my wedding and I'm incredibly thankful that I did. From her Instagram profile, I knew that she'd be able to execute the natural bridal look that I was interested in so I was thrilled when I found out that she was available. We had an initial discussion over the phone a few months before the big day and from that and a few inspiration photos that I shared, she was able to recreate the exact look I was hoping for without doing a trial. Furthermore, she offered to be available for other beauty related questions beforehand and gave very insightful responses when I had questions about facials and hair treatments. I took a deep breath to tune out the noise and she noticed. She quietly asked if she should clear the room to help me relax. I didn't need it, but I appreciated the gesture. Having Lisa there on my wedding day was a breath of fresh air and one of the best decisions I could have made. As someone who does not wear a lot of makeup, Lisa was there every step of the way to help me hone in on the “natural but enhanced” look I was hoping for. She had great communication right from the get-go and I knew after 5 minutes of chatting with her that she was the perfect person to make me and my bridal party feel picture-perfect and ready to walk down the aisle! I recently was a bridesmaid in a wedding. The bride hired Lisa Boehm Beauty for all the wedding day makeup (bride, MOH, and 3 bridesmaids). Lisa did a fantastic job! She was quick, efficient, highly skilled, a great listener and also good at making recommendations to fit our personal needs, and made us all look and feel so beautiful. She is very professional but also really sweet and fun to hang out with while getting ready. Lisa was AMAZING! From start to finish, she listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted to look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. She was extremely professional through the booking process, my trial, and on my wedding day. She took time with and listened to my bridesmaids to make sure they felt their best, as well. Lisa is a wonderful artist to work with for your wedding. I never like my makeup when it is done by someone else. However, Lisa nailed it at both my trial and on my wedding day for both my hair and my makeup. She made me feel so beautiful! She was super quick and very easy going when it came to working with some of my more challenging family members on my wedding day. She is incredibly communicative, responsive and reliable. The best part was that she made me feel like a friend was doing my hair and makeup on my wedding day.

Despite only meeting Lisa on the day of my wedding, she is absolutely wonderful in her work and her personality and I am HIGHLY recommending working with her for any wedding or event! I was one of her brides who she saved on the day of their wedding. My original hair stylist had my wedding booked in her calendar for the wrong day and never showed up BUT Lisa got contacted, packed up her lunch that she had just started eating after working with another bride, and rushed to my venue to save my wedding day and beautifully style my hair. Even though we had a very tight time frame to get my hair finished, Lisa pulled it off with flying colors! She was so caring and really listened to what I was hoping my hair would look like for my wedding day. I showed her a picture of what my original stylist was planning on doing (low right sided bun updo with twists on each side and my front bangs straight), told her what I didn't want, and my hair turned out way better than what I could have imagined it to ever look on my wedding day. The whole time that Lisa was styling my hair she made sure that I was staying positive with the whole situation, laughing, and smiling. She made sure that I was liking how she was styling my hair throughout and offered to change anything after she was done if I didn't like any part of it. She also provided my bridesmaids with extra hair spray and bobby pins when she was finished as my original stylist was supposed to do their hair as well and we were not prepared to have to style our own hair. I can't speak any better words for Lisa after only working with her for a very few short hours. She's amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better person do style my bridal hair and couldn't have asked for more perfect looking hair on my wedding day! Thank you SO much Lisa!!

Lisa is a talented and professional MUA that did an amazing job bringing my wishes and her artistic vision together for my bridal look. I have never felt more beautiful! As a side note: I had originally booked Lisa just for makeup services, but when my hair appointment with another vendor did not go as planned, she stepped in and completely re-did my updo as well. She is a miracle worker.
