We are all navigating this new era even as it continues to evolve. We are a small company and have always maintained a very strict policy as far as refunds of payments, these terms are clearly outlined on our service agreements and we both agreed to abide by them contractually when you chose to reserve your retreat with us. We are grateful for your business, and it has been a pleasure to work with you this past year. We only accept one retreat per day for a limited number of events per year and once the date is reserved, we refuse other reservations for that date. Even during the best of times a wedding or event/ retreat/ gathering of any size is an occurrence with some measure of risk. Due to these inherent risks we have a definitive contract, non-refundable payments & require liability insurance as well as strongly recommending additional event cancellation/ disaster / weather insurance to be purchased by client(s) should something unforeseen occur. Our company is currently accommodating these shifts caused by the pandemic by waiving our date change fee, and transferring any non-refundable payments that have already been made to a new available date if client chooses to postpone: for as long as the travel quarantine remains in effect in our state. (July 31, 2020 is the current date the Oahu travel quarantine has been extended to –There will be a Covid testing protocol in place for incoming travelers who do not wish to mandatory quarantine for 14 days, scheduled as soon as August 1, 2020). We will continue to be flexible with waiving our date change fee as long as there are travel restrictions and the pandemic is still ongoing. We do and will continue to stand by our contracts. We do maintain that the property use agreement still retains its value and performance still remains possible. We adore all of our clients and couples. We empathize deeply with the heartbreaking choices of proceeding as planned - with possibly a reduced attendance, postponing, or cancelling. Each individuals personal circumstance during this time is different and that decision remains with each individual client, but that individuals choice does not constitute a refund due on our part unless we are able to re-rent your date to an alternative client as stipulated by our contracts. We are here for you & want to be as compassionate and safe as possible while still functioning healthily in both our business and personal lives. Please continue to reach out with any questions or updates you may have. As we discussed by email and phone if we get another client that is ready to move forward with a new retreat for your scheduled retreat date then we will reach out to let you know what amount may then be eligible for refund… If no one re-rents this date, there will be no possible refund amount of the reservation fees or retreat lease rent. We would also like to reiterate if you should decide that you would like to use the non-refundable reservation funds paid in already for a future retreat(s) to please let us know. We are here and ready to help you reimagine a more intimate elopement/ tree planting this summer or fall and push any remainder of the non-refundable funds out for a larger reception and or vow renewal & tree planting retreat to a new available date in 2021 or 2022. Should you wish to rescind your retreat cancellation in writing, we are offering cancellation forgiveness for 90 days from the date of cancellation.
