Lisa and Love Your Moment were great assets to our wedding. We had a small intimate ceremony with 30 people and Lisa was fantastic throughout the whole process. She was quick to respond during the quote and invoice process and she had an easy questionnaire to fill out to help personalize the experience. From that survey, she had an amazing speech put together that included some touches specific to us at a couple. She was on time for the ceremony and filed our wedding certificate in a timely manner. We received such positive responses from all of our guests on how much they enjoyed Lisa as our officiant. Would highly recommend this company for your officiant needs!

- Stephen MilnerOfficiateFrom an early age, Stephen felt called to serve in ministry. He was raised in the church, and his parents served full time in ministry. As an adult, Stephen went on to be a youth minister for several years before meeting his wife Briana. Soon after marriage, they served overseas in the South Pacific for a short-term mission stent. Once back in the US, Stephen served as an Associate Pastor before Seminary in 2012. After graduating from seminary in 2014, Stephen and his wife served communities as ordained ministers. After serving in the PNW for a few years, Stephen and Briana welcomed their daughter Brielle after praying for her for over three, long, years. With the arrival of their daughter, they knew they wanted to take a step back and focus on raising this precious gift. They moved to Stephen’s childhood area in North Dallas to begin a slower pace at life. Once here, they welcomed their son, Thaddeus, a few years later. Life continues to bring moments of joy and blessings! Initially, my license was intended for the use of officiating some close friends who eloped in Kauai, HI in a remote location set in front of a waterfall. It was one of the most beautiful moments to witness. I had no intent on marrying anyone else after that day however, my higher power and universe always has a bigger plan than my own. I continue to have people in my life ask me to officiate their wedding and when I do, I sometimes have people who attend their wedding ask me to do it for someone they know. y we wanted. Love Your Moment was recommended by our wedding venue and I'm so happy they did. Lisa was extremely responsive and we were able to get our contract signed within a day of sending the initial query.
Working with Lisa was amazing. Lisa got an idea of what we wanted, which was an egalitarian ceremony, and sent us back a beautiful ceremony script that honored our wishes and celebrated our union. We ended up deciding to change what our last names were going to be within a couple days of the wedding and Lisa was super flexible in getting what we needed changed.
Day of was fantastic. Lisa showed up about 40 minutes before the ceremony and got our wedding certificate handled and returned it to the county for us the next day. I'm running out of adjectives to describe how good this whole process was, just whatever you hope Love Your Moment will be that and more.

the script for the ceremony in case we needed to make any adjustments, which I thought was so considerate. She did an AMAZING job of writing our ceremony and including small details about our relationship. Her creativity and writing ability is phenomenal! During the ceremony, she was calm and collected, which was grounding to a nervous bride, lol! Her words touched not only us but all of our guests, and I had so many guests rave about her and how beautiful her words were. She also made time to take pictures with us and give us some sweet words of advice for marriage. We are so thankful she was our officiant and would recommend her to anyone!

We secured Lisa as our officiant early in 2023 after talking with her on the phone. She was gre...
at and really understood what was important to us - total pro! We then paid our deposit to secure our date and were in communication over email for the next months. Early in 2024 is when we were contacted by Lisa with a questionnaire that was for creating our ceremony. Lisa was a pro and helped us get exactly what we were looking for! She sent us the script that we were able to send back with edits or comments. Lisa made all modifications promptly!
Lisa made us feel confident of our vision execution the day of as we chatted before the ceremony! We received multiple compliments from guests that they loved the ceremony and how great a job Lisa did officiating!
To any brides that are using an officiant they have not met personally yet, please don’t be worried with Love Your Moment or Lisa! Lisa did a great job keeping us informed and was well versed on what we needed for our inter-faith ceremony. Would highly recommend!

t willing to marry us in Texas, given we are gay, and Lisa not only calmed our nerves but wrote a ceremony embodying “Love is Love.” We also chose to do a tequila shot with a pickle back and were pleasantly surprised with how well she incorporated that into our ceremony with quirky analogies. The entire evening our guests kept telling us that this was the best ceremony they have ever heard. If only we could use Love Your Moment for more than just a wedding… we would book them 10000% of the time! Do yourself a favor and book them for your special day!

sed beautifully, and gave such an oration with such perfect timing during her speech that guests mentioned how wonderful she was after it was over. One of the things we asked her to say was "God does not make a love that is wrong." You should have heard how beautifully she paused just before and a little after so that it would sink in. We had some first-time same-sex wedding guests there, and I was so happy to know they had time to think about this. I highly recommend Laura for your special event!

stopped responding to us the month before our wedding. When we got to be about 10 days out from our wedding day, we knew we had to find a new officiant. That is when my husband found Love Your Moment. He submitted an inquiry with them, and on the same night, was on the phone with Lisa, discussing our situation and her sharing that they could help. The next day, we heard from our officiant Stephen. Within 72 hours (amidst the Christmas/New Year holiday), we had heard from Stephen, met with him, and received our ceremony script, which included personal touches even though we had met so soon before. On the day-of, Stephen was so professional, friendly, and did a beautiful job officiating. We got compliments from our guests on the ceremony and how touching it was. Could not thank Lisa, Stephen, and Love Your Moment enough for saving our day. Would recommend 100 times!

I contacted Love Your Moment and crossed my fingers they could accommodate my request for Christmas Eve. I received a response shortly after sending my request stating that we could indeed get married on the 24th. I was so relieved as I anticipated getting married on Christmas Eve would be difficult!
Lisa contacted me and informed me of the process and told me to contact her as much as I needed to. I informed her that my fiancé and I were very low key and didn't really have anything particular in mind regarding the ceremony.
She sent over a copy of the vows that are often used for non-denominational elopement-style weddings. They were just perfect! She told me that we could change anything we wanted and I told her no changes were needed. The wedding day came and we performed the ceremony and it was so much better than I could have imagined. The vows were beautiful. Lisa is such a warm person; she made us feel completely comfortable and eased our nerves.
After the ceremony, she explained our next steps and gave us a few options for filing our marriage certificate; we chose to file it ourselves so we could obtain certified copies sooner rather than later. She was there from start to finish guiding us through the process and we could not be more happy.
If you are looking for an officiant, look no further!!!
