We found Lisa and Love Your Moment from a family friend, whose daughter used Lisa!
We secured Lisa as our officiant early in 2023 after talking with her on the phone. She was great and really understood what was important to us - total pro! We then paid our deposit to secure our date and were in communication over email for the next months. Early in 2024 is when we were contacted by Lisa with a questionnaire that was for creating our ceremony. Lisa was a pro and helped us get exactly what we were looking for! She sent us the script that we were able to send back with edits or comments. Lisa made all modifications promptly!
Lisa made us feel confident of our vision execution the day of as we chatted before the ceremony! We received multiple compliments from guests that they loved the ceremony and how great a job Lisa did officiating!
To any brides that are using an officiant they have not met personally yet, please don’t be worried with Love Your Moment or Lisa! Lisa did a great job keeping us informed and was well versed on what we needed for our inter-faith ceremony. Would highly recommend!

We found Lisa and Love Your Moment through The Knot. Lisa was our officiant for our ceremony, and I can't recommend her enough! Working with her was so easy and she made our ceremony so special!
We loved working with Lisa! She was always timely with her responses via email and she made our wedding so so special. If you are thinking about using an officiant service for your wedding, Love Your Moment is your answer! We needed a last minute officiant and we were lucky to have Lisa at such short notice! She was a real blessing and she really brought a sense of genuineness that we did not expect. She gave us custom readings with inputting her own style. Her execution was flawless making her a true professional. We were able to review her readings before the wedding and she communicated with us like family all the way up to the actual wedding day. She really felt like someone we knew for years and we couldn’t thank her enough for the perfect experience!

We cannot say enough great things about Lisa. She made the process so seamless and easy, and she was excellent at communicating. A couple of weeks before our wedding, she sent over the script for the ceremony in case we needed to make any adjustments, which I thought was so considerate. She did an AMAZING job of writing our ceremony and including small details about our relationship. Her creativity and writing ability is phenomenal! During the ceremony, she was calm and collected, which was grounding to a nervous bride, lol! Her words touched not only us but all of our guests, and I had so many guests rave about her and how beautiful her words were. She also made time to take pictures with us and give us some sweet words of advice for marriage. We are so thankful she was our officiant and would recommend her to anyone!

Lisa was AMAZING! We really couldn’t have asked for a better officiant. She made the process so smooth and she was so funny. She made us feel comfortable and helped direct us when needed. Where to even begin… Lisa was amazing from our very first phone call! She made was feel comfortable and accepted. We were worried that we would have a hard time finding an officiant willing to marry us in Texas, given we are gay, and Lisa not only calmed our nerves but wrote a ceremony embodying “Love is Love.” We also chose to do a tequila shot with a pickle back and were pleasantly surprised with how well she incorporated that into our ceremony with quirky analogies. The entire evening our guests kept telling us that this was the best ceremony they have ever heard. If only we could use Love Your Moment for more than just a wedding… we would book them 10000% of the time! Do yourself a favor and book them for your special day!

My wife and I were married in May, and Laura from Love Your Moment was our officiant. She met with us for lunch prior to the wedding, helped us write our vows, was on time and dressed beautifully, and gave such an oration with such perfect timing during her speech that guests mentioned how wonderful she was after it was over. One of the things we asked her to say was "God does not make a love that is wrong." You should have heard how beautifully she paused just before and a little after so that it would sink in. We had some first-time same-sex wedding guests there, and I was so happy to know they had time to think about this. I highly recommend Laura for your special event!
Lisa was amazing! She responded quickly every time I had a question and was so easy to work with. Her speech was absolutely beautiful, and we received many compliments after the ceremony. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to rave about how great this company is! I highly recommend booking with them!
Love your moment did an excellent job writing and preforming our ceremony. Very thorough and offered a contingency plan when our officiant got sick. Can't recommend them enough!
Love Your Moment saved our wedding day! Lisa, as well as our officiant, Stephen, were a godsend for us. We had previously booked with another officiating company, but our officiant stopped responding to us the month before our wedding. When we got to be about 10 days out from our wedding day, we knew we had to find a new officiant. That is when my husband found Love Your Moment. He submitted an inquiry with them, and on the same night, was on the phone with Lisa, discussing our situation and her sharing that they could help. The next day, we heard from our officiant Stephen. Within 72 hours (amidst the Christmas/New Year holiday), we had heard from Stephen, met with him, and received our ceremony script, which included personal touches even though we had met so soon before. On the day-of, Stephen was so professional, friendly, and did a beautiful job officiating. We got compliments from our guests on the ceremony and how touching it was. Could not thank Lisa, Stephen, and Love Your Moment enough for saving our day. Would recommend 100 times!
Lisa was on it from the get-go. She made sure that our ceremony was what we wanted, and curated it to feel specific to us. She was LGBT friendly, and gave us the option to have a religious or non-religious ceremony (we chose the latter). She wrote a ceremony for us and was receptive to any feedback we gave her. She was calm and so helpful during our vows, where we both we were nervous. She sent us photos afterwards and made it feel really personal. Definitely recommend!

I wish I could give 10 stars. I contacted Love Your Moment after my friend suggested using them. Her brother had just been married and my friend told me how wonderful Lisa was.
I contacted Love Your Moment and crossed my fingers they could accommodate my request for Christmas Eve. I received a response shortly after sending my request stating that we could indeed get married on the 24th. I was so relieved as I anticipated getting married on Christmas Eve would be difficult!
Lisa contacted me and informed me of the process and told me to contact her as much as I needed to. I informed her that my fiancé and I were very low key and didn't really have anything particular in mind regarding the ceremony.
She sent over a copy of the vows that are often used for non-denominational elopement-style weddings. They were just perfect! She told me that we could change anything we wanted and I told her no changes were needed. The wedding day came and we performed the ceremony and it was so much better than I could have imagined. The vows were beautiful. Lisa is such a warm person; she made us feel completely comfortable and eased our nerves.
After the ceremony, she explained our next steps and gave us a few options for filing our marriage certificate; we chose to file it ourselves so we could obtain certified copies sooner rather than later. She was there from start to finish guiding us through the process and we could not be more happy.
If you are looking for an officiant, look no further!!!

Our wedding ceremony was perfect and Lisa was a huge reason why! She totally captured the essence of who we are and what was important to us. She had humor and an ease that only someone who loves what she does can convey. Everyone who attended our ceremony or watched the video said “what an excellent officiant. Our officiant, Ms. Laura was amazing!! She helped my fiancé and I plan everything out, and everything went smoothly the day of our wedding. We had unlimited communication with her which was perfect because I sure did have lots of questions as an anxious and nervous bride-to-be!!! She was quick to answer as well. Our ceremony went perfect as well and pretty quick which we loved. Overall our experience was great and would definitely recommend her and the business to friends and family 😊
Brian was a great officiant. We appreciated getting to review the ceremony before the big day. My only critique would be a wanting to speak on the phone to the officiant before our wedding day. We were nervous going into the day never speaking with the officiant but it turned out perfect anyway.

We hired Lisa from Love Your Moment for our wedding in October of 2021 and we are so glad we did! Lisa did an amazing job. The "script" was sent to us ahead of time for approval which was great. Lisa checked in with us before we walked down the isle. I felt 100% confident in her and the ceremony went so well. We got lots of complements regarding the ceremony and how beautiful it was. I also wanted to note that Lisa made sure she ducked out of the way for our first kiss so the photo was perfect! We would recommend!

She went above and beyond our expectations and blew us away with a customized speech for our wedding. She arrived early to our ceremony and was a total pro from the moment she walked in. Even though it was the first time we were meeting her in person, it felt like seeing an old friend and she made my partner and I feel so comfortable and happy during a time that I thought we would be jittery and anxious. My husband found Lisa through the Knot last minute and we are so glad she was available!! She was so professional through email and when she had sent over the ceremony draft, we were in awe. It was so lovely and well written. We had met her on the day of our wedding and I had such great vibes from her. During the ceremony, she whispered some advice to us to help calm our nerves and making sure we didn't forget anything while we were at the altar. After the ceremony, a few of my guests told me that they loved what she had to say. She made our ceremony that much better and I'm so glad we chose her for our officiant.

Lisa was incredible and made us so happy the day of! My husband and I planned our wedding which ended up being right during the middle of the lockdown in 2020. We ended up having to cancel everything. Not only did Love Your Moment understand and issue us a refund, but Lisa called us on our day and married us from quarantine. Even without everyone there physically it was still such a special day and an incredible memory!

Lisa was absolutely wonderful as our officiant for our wedding! We found Love Your Moment online, and we were able to do all the communication we needed online as well. We loved how easy it was and Lisa wrote an amazing ceremony with the information provided! There was a small miscommunication between my wedding coordinator and I about part of the ceremony, but Lisa had checked with the information I provided and cleared it up with me right away. She absolutely will have you and your partner's best interests at heart! If we had to do it all over we would absolutely go with Love Your Moment again!

Lisa was a fantastic officiant and a calm and grounding presence at the altar for our wedding. She was easy and stress-free to work with long distance, and felt as warm to us as someone we had a personal relationship with. Lisa was incredibly flexible and supportive of changing plans during COVID, even when we asked her to adapt to a different location, time, and size for our ceremony. She was right there with us even through changing plans and circumstances. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
We just moved to the area and had planned a big celebration out in another state but because of COVID planned a small intimate backyard ceremony instead. We hadn't even moved to the DFW area yet and I got in touch with Love Your Moment about performing our ceremony! Lisa wrote the most beautiful ceremony for us based just off of our questionnaire. On the day of I was so glad we picked her! She put us all at ease and made the day wonderful! My parents could not speak highly enough of the amazing job she did! We live streamed our wedding and so many people said she was terrific! Honestly, with all the wedding planning changes due to COVID we are SO lucky we ended up with such an amazing person to perform our ceremony.
Hiring Lisa as our officiant was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She was a delight to work with, and was more than willing to work with our changing plans due to COVID. On top of that, the ceremony script she provided was lovely and she was more than happy to make any changes to the script we requested.
We postponed our wedding till May 2021 however we still wanted to hold the civil ceremony this year. We originally wanted to go to the courthouse however we needed to change plans. We scoured the internet looking for officiants that we felt were right for us and boy were we lucky to have stumbled on LOVE YOUR MOMENT. From the get go, Lisa was calm and oh so kind. She was so flexible, confident and reassuring over the phone. Whatever fears and doubts we had, Lisa helped dissipate them. She listened to what we wanted and helped create exactly that! she was incredibly professional and we absolutely loved working with her. We had to fill a quick questionnaire about us that help her write our ceremony. We actually got to read what she had wrote prior and review it. She asked for feedback but it was so perfect we didnt change a thing! we absolutely loved our moment.

We loved working with Lisa. She helped plan our ceremony and was there for us every step of the way. We wanted to include a hand fasting ceremony, and Lisa put her own touch on it. She even helped bring the cords to practice tying our hands for the rehearsal, when we were anxiously waiting for ours to arrive in the mail. She had a great sense of humor as well and calmed my pre-wedding nerves as I texted her the night before the wedding. I am so happy that we chose Lisa and Love Your Moment for our officiant services!

The officiant sets the tone for the ceremony and I had a clear vision of how I wanted it. From the first time meeting her I knew she would be the perfect fit for us. She was really confident in her ability to take our relationship and capture it for the ceremony script. And she did just that! I didn’t have one revision for our script. I absolutely loved the little details she included that were special to us. She was so great the day of also - I was not nervous for reciting the “I do” section or even for when it was time to say my vows. Her demeanor is very calming and that was helpful for a very stressful day!
Lisa captured everything we wanted in our ceremony. She was absolutely perfect, genuine, sincere, and real. She provided a copy of our "draft" ceremony prior to our wedding to allow us to make any last minute changes/revisions. She incorporated one of our most favorites poems into our ceremony and provided guidance with writing our own vows. We even threw Lisa a curve ball by asking her to incorporate a whiskey unity and she performed it with such grace and confidence. We highly recommend Lisa to perform your ceremony. Lisa was very accommodating, she did everything we asked for and tailored our ceremony to exactly what we wanted. The ceremony was very well written and she was well spoken. Several guests commented on how good she was and how beautiful the ceremony was. We really did love our moment.
Lisa was amazing! She wrote our ceremony after asking questions about what we wanted and some questions about us as a couple. She sent the ceremony over ahead of time and it was perfect! She was prompt in answering all of the questions I had and she was perfect at the wedding! I would 100% recommend Lisa especially if you are looking for someone to do an LGBTQ+ wedding!

As an Ordained Minister, Michaelz has spent his time between Emergency Services Chaplaincy dedicated to first responders and weddings. His love and passion for weddings was sparked when a dear friend asked Brian to officiate her wedding and he has never looked back.
He brings a fresh and bright energy, passion, and professionalism to his work while customizing the perfect wedding ceremony for his couples. His philosophy is that the wedding ceremony is the heart and soul of your wedding. His ceremonies provide a natural expression of yourselves with a genuine reflection of everything that makes your union so unique and so very special. Brian Michaelz prides himself in working with couples of all religions, ages, and backgrounds.
In addition to officiating weddings, Michaelz is skilled in the fine art of music and entertainment. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production and a Master’s in Entertainment Business, he has filled the dual role of Officiant and DJ for many wedding parties across the nation.
When Brian Michaelz is not officiating ceremonies, or spinning the tunes he enjoys spending time with his wife TJ and twin boys Sean and Chet, traveling, entertaining and much more. His wonderful disposition ensures that all of your guests will love him and your ceremony.
