Malooga was consistently responsive to emails throughout the planning process. They made handling the allergies and dietary restrictions of our guests easy and simple to understand. They were flexible and provided the food, equipment, and service at a reasonable price which helped us stay on budget.
Malooga has great dairy-free and gluten-free options! The lamb and chicken entrees are juicy, well-seasoned, and fall right off the bone. They also have great vegan-friendly options, like the falafel, seasoned rice, and lentil soup.
I highly recommend Malooga catering. They will make your event special, delicious, and memorable! We are truly grateful to Malooga for doing such a fantastic job on our big day.

After running an extremely successful cloud kitchen in New York City early into the pandemic, showcasing his Yemeni recipes for nearly 100 customers per day out of a grocery store’s kitchen, Chef Mohammed Aqlan moved to Philly in February of 2021 to open Malooga, a 35-seat Middle Eastern restaurant in Old City featuring Yemeni cuisine.
