We want to thank Simone from the bottom of our hearts for making our engagement photos and wedding photos so special! We initially hired Simone for engagement photos and wedding photos in Colorado but we were so indecisive that we ended up moving our wedding destination twice! We first started with a Colorado wedding, then moved it to Michigan (where we're from), then ultimately landed on a small destination micro wedding in Italy. He was so patient and willing to travel all across the world with us!
He's such a talented photographer, his candid style of photography really brings you back to the moment. He really understood the vision of what we we're hoping for, and was willing to take some goofy photos we asked for as well!
He was such a supportive and calming presence to have at our wedding, no photo sessions felt forced or unnatural he just encouraged us to be ourselves and soak in the moments of our wedding day.
We highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you again, Simone!

Located in Denver and San Diego, Mastrosimo Photography is a candid style wedding photography business. He is passionate about capturing all of the moments that make up your love story in a genuine way. Mastrosimo Photography aspires to provide each couple with an authentic representation of all of the emotions and experiences on the wedding day for them to preserve for years to come.
Simone is the creator behind Mastrosimo Photography. For over seven years, he has traveled the world photographing weddings and creating everlasting keepsakes for couples. He believes that the photos on your wedding day mark the first memories of your life together, and is humbled to be given so many opportunities to produce these images for people.
The packages offered by Mastrosimo Photography are varied, giving each couple the perfect configuration of services to suit their wedding day. Simone can provide between 4 and 10 hours of photo coverage and an extra photographer depending on the duration and size of your wedding. He offers a range of photography styles which include dramatic, vintage, modern, and film photography. Simone can also supply couples with same-day edits, printed enlargements, and wedding albums.

I grew up surrounded by nature and wildlife in Italy, with lakes and mountains as my backdrop.
In the past seven years, I’ve been traveling around the world, shooting amazing weddings and improving my surfing skills.
When I’m not behind the camera, I like to make bean-to-bar chocolate, experiment with pizza and bread dough, and wait for the next adventure with my wife and our two daughters.
I’ve witnessed a lot of weddings, but I still manage to get emotional every single time. That’s why I’m motivated to capture the energy and characters that make each marriage celebration so unique.

ith our photographer - simone was friendly and easygoing yet professional as well, and i feel like that makes a difference in photo quality. he captured special candid moments as well as the pictures we had on our “wishlist.” we appreciated his guidance/expertise for getting great pics without looking too posed/stiff/etc.
his editing was nicely done. he has a wonderful artistic eye yet makes things look natural and eye catching at the same time.
we also appreciated that his prices were affordable. so many people take advantage of the wedding industry but we felt that he didn’t do that.
i won’t hesitate to employ his services in the future for any important events!

He includes the engagement photos as part of his wedding package, and this gave us the opportunity to meet him and get comfortable in front of his camera! He was super flexible in getting our photos scheduled and we had a great time and ended up with some really great pictures!
For our wedding, Simone was perfect. He was somehow everywhere at once and had photos of all aspects of our wedding - traditional portraits, dance floor, groups, candids. He was so kind and accommodating to not only my husband and me, but also our guests with their many photo requests! He was also so great with the kids that were involved in our wedding party and we have wondering shots of them!
Our wedding photos turned out even better than I could have hoped - we were nervous and self conscious about posing but he was so encouraging and managed to snap such beautiful photos! His editing and styling is everything - if you're looking for the perfect mix of traditional photos for your mom to print and cool photos that make you feel like an album cover, Simone is your guy. I truly cannot recommend him enough.

For our elopement, Simone traveled to Breckenridge to spend the afternoon and early evening with us. He was so kind and patient with our family. On our wedding day, he was so relaxed and fun, got all the images we wanted, and completely understood our vibe. He is very nice and really made us feel comfortable. It was important to us to find someone knowledgeable about the Estes Park/RMNP area, and he planned out all the locations ahead of time.

He managed to be everywhere and capture ALL the important shots I wanted, plus more I didn’t know I needed but was so grateful to have, all while being totally unobtrusive. He just had this elegant presence and I trusted him completely. And we were so overjoyed with the results. Our photos were gorgeous and there were so many different angles and moments captured that I was simply blown away with delight. He shot our wedding ceremony, and then took us to another beautiful site for more pictures, and he was just fun to be around, gave us great suggestions for poses, and made us both feel relaxed and comfortable. The photos are so flattering and really capture the day, our love, and our personalities. He gave us tantalizing sneak-peeks almost immediately, and he was right on time with the rest of the images. If you’re lucky enough to be in the area to hire Simone, do yourself a favor and just DO IT. We are a million times grateful that we have the pictures we got from him.

ouple, not just staged photos. We had our dog in the engagement shoot, and he got the most amazing photos of all of us. Fast forward to wedding day. He was there, but you didn't know it! And when I say "there" I mean everywhere. He got so many amazing shots, and was literally running up and down the mountain to get shots of our guests coming off the ski lift, and get "getting ready" photos. His attention to detail is amazing. We got our sneak peak photos 2 days after the wedding, and they were so good we would have been happy if those were the only 12 photos we got! We have looked through the full wedding photo grouping so many times already, and it truly brings you back to the day-off and gives you all the feelings of when you were there! Can't say enough good things!

was responsive, organized, transparent, and thoroughly answered any questions I had. Day of, Simone was extremely organized, truly "cool, calm and collected". My “getting ready” time went from calm to hectic in a blink of an eye... but every time I saw Simone she would calmly put me at ease! Everyone is in awe of how amazing our photos came out, especially because we are not great in front of the camera! I am so incredibly thankful I found Simone and HIGHLY recommend him.

He helped make the process much less stressful! Once we got our pictures back, it felt like we were reliving our wedding day.
