doubt the absolute BEST photographer we could have hired for our wedding. There are a lot of talent out there, but Matt is in a league of his own when it comes to capturing images and using whatever environment he is put in to produce the best images possible. He is not only an exceptional photographer with unparalleled skill, but also provides outstanding customer service. During the stressful wedding planning, his lightning fast response time were not only impressive, but simply invaluable. I never had to call him more than once to get a response. He also has a sense of humor and easygoing personality, which is extremely helpful during the sometimes awkward "posed photo sessions". Some may consider his prices a bit steep, but trust me -- after doing tons of research and meeting with a fair number of vendors in the area, that Matt is a great value and you absolutely get what you pay for and more. I cannot stay enough great things about Matt and strongly urge you to go with his experience, professionalism and product.

We always knew Matt had vibrant, crisp photos, as well as a natural talent for finding angles, reflections and light. But when we first spoke with Matt on the phone, we realized he would become the biggest key to the day running smoothly. Matt helped us find other vendors - as he has worked with just about everyone and knows who can help make the day perfect. He literally made our day of timeline - and kept us organized and on schedule day of. He was so much more than a photographer - he was basically a coordinator also. Matt spoke with us on the phone a few times before the wedding to make sure he knew which shots were important to us. He was able to make my camera shy husband comfortable, as well as direct us in a calm, respectful way throughout the day.

Not only are our photos incredibly stunning, but the professionalism and talent of Matt and his team are second to none. Our questions and emails were always answered promptly, and the day was organized flawlessly. We now have an incredible selection of photos from each part of our day and could not be happier with them. He immediately built a rapport with our videography team and worked with them seamlessly. He and Jacqueline kept us calm, collected, and organized, even through some crazy weather and a late hair and makeup team.
The photos they took are absolutely stunning. They captured the emotion of the day and everything we planned so perfectly. We had some cloudy and rainy weather and some tricky lighting that was reflected by entire walls of windows, and they still made photographing our wedding look easy! They always exceeded expectations, delivering our photos so fast that we were able to get our thank-yous out within a month of our wedding. They designed our albums as well, and they are gorgeous! I didn't think I could appreciate printed photos as much as I do until I saw our albums. Our parents loved theirs too!

On wedding day, Matt & his team did such a wonderful job. We had a timeline all laid out to where we had photos taken. The day before our wedding, we got hit with a snow storm and could no longer do photos as planned. Matt was great at making the last minute decisions on locations, And the photos turned out amazing!! We really appreciate Matt running the show and making suggestions so he can get the best shots. We both have large Families, and a very large wedding party – to organize that many people for photos takes a lot of patience, and Matt did it with a smile. His sense of humor made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera - he truly knows how to control a room. On they wedding day, despite the rain, he showed up early just to make sure everything was set and organized before starting his photos with the bride/bridesmaids. His assistant also did a fantastic job capturing shots of his own while Matt focused on the larger groups. He worked wonderfully with the whole bridal party and families to make sure everyone was comfortable and knew where to be. As the ceremony went on they were able to capture so many wonderful moments, and small details, for us to look back on and share with friends and family. The couples photos with my wife and I were excellent. Matt found some perfect locations around the venue and used the rainy weather to his advantage. The fact that there was only him and his assistant cannot be stated enough, you would have thought there were dozens of photographers. They were able to capture all of the wedding seamlessly.
He was quick to get us proofs after the wedding, despite being bust in wedding season. Within the next month he sent flash drives to use as well as our parents. Along with that we can work further with him to order an album and do any additional edits, though I doubt we will need them as the photos we received we perfect. Matt's prices were fair and we were able to choose a package that easily fit within our budget and allowed us to choose high quality photos of our favorite shots. Sarah and I cannot recommend Matt enough. Pure professionalism and will handle all of the needs necessary.

He and his crew managed the challenges of the day like tried and true professionals (Including the rainy weather and not to mention challenging personalities!).
Matt also takes time to get to know the people he is working with and that was evident by the kind words he wrote about my wife and I in his photo blog.
Post wedding Matt continued to be responsive; after a pair of heirloom earrings were missing, my wife recalled seeing them during the pre-ceremony "getting ready" photoshoot. My wife sent an email to Matt to see if, by chance, he or his staff saw them post photoshoot. To our surprise we received a detailed reply from Matt at 4AM that was able to jog our memory as to where the earrings were stashed (in the safe). Matt basically saved our honeymoon because the stress of losing those earrings would have been severe.

Our wedding photos came out beautifully – The vibrancy and colors in each image are breathtaking. The precious moments and candid expressions he captured brought out emotions ranging from hysterical (my groom likes handstands) to heartfelt and pure.
And that is just the end result – During the actual day, Matt was so easy to be around. He gave just enough direction when my husband and I had our private photo shoot – he let us be ourselves so there were no stiff or forced poses. At the same time, he was focused and efficient. The whole bridal party wasn’t held up forever after the ceremony. His assistant, Jess, was also a huge help. The two worked well together and I have photos from many different angles and positions during the ceremony and reception because they were both shooting.

I found Matt's website and was completely awe struck by the photos, but also by the way he came across as an individual. The wedding business is certainly a business, but the one thing that sets Matt apart from the rest is that he makes you feel, from day one, like you are working with a friend. For my husband and I this sold us right away. Working with someone who makes you feel totally comfortable, while knowing that he is incredibly talented and capable of truly astonishing work, makes it that much easier to capture some amazing photos and memories.
It ended up raining for most of the morning and part of the evening of our wedding day. Matt was able to improvise regarding the locations where we would take our photos and ultimately, we ended up with some photos that I would have never thought were possible. We went outside at dusk and took some photos in the rain that made it look like crystals were falling all around us. Truly unlike anything we had ever seen before. Although we always knew how good he was at what he does, he managed to surprise us with some of the most amazing photos that we will cherish for a lifetime.

I knew we were going to hire Matt the moment we met him. Not only is his style something I'd never seen before, but he had the exact personality we were looking for. I hate having my photo taken, but as soon as I met him, my mind was set at ease. Matt was so friendly and easy going, and he made me feel so comfortable. At the wedding, I barely even knew he was there, but his photographs proved otherwise. Words can't describe how fantastic they are. I will always cherish them. It was such a crazy day, with so many people in the bridal party, our designated picture spot being flooded, and the sunset approaching quickly, but he was able to get everyone and every photo in that we wanted!!!! And he worked with the spot we had to take pictures and you would have never known we were basically in a parking lot, they came out AWESOME!!!! He was able to capture the sunset perfectly. The pictures almost looked magical :)
We honestly are so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with him, expecially since we chose a very popular date (09/10/11)!! I cannot say enough about how professional he was and how amazing the photos came out.

Anyone can take pictures but it takes someone with talent and skill to capture the perfect moments, the perfect light and the emotion of the big day and Matt did that amazingly. Matt was easy to work with before and after the wedding, returning e-mails and phone calls promptly and taking the time to answer all of our questions. We love our prints and the DVD of the proofs and can't wait to get our albums.
We would recommend Matt Ramos Photography to anyone. Heck, my mother-in-law wants us to get married again so we can get some more pictures :-) I would recommend booking him early as his great talent is quickly snatched up. If you want professional photos worth every penny, pick Matt!

Matt s vision and style is really what made me book him. He really captures amazing moments and uses the light in such an artistic way. We still get compliments after compliments on our wedding pictures a year after our wedding. Matt is one vendor that I seriously couldn't imagine not working with!!!
