About this vendor
I believe that it is important for a couple to be comfortable with both their wedding minister and their wedding ceremony. My style is open, caring, and laid back, yet detail-oriented. Many couples find this approach appealing, making it easier for us to work together. I will make recommendations, which many couples choose to follow, but these recommendations are only guidelines and are certainly not etched in stone.

Like many other couples, 2020 changed our original wedding plans. Our larger ceremony/reception has been pushed to 2021, but last month we had an intimate backyard wedding with our immediate family members. Reverend Larry was the perfect fit! He was extremely warm with our families, and felt like just another piece of the puzzle. His calm and genuine demeanor was a perfect balm for all of the typical wedding emotions. The personal touches that Larry molded into the ceremony could not have been more fitting and appropriate, especially the Apache blessing on our chilly and rainy day! We’re already looking forward to seeing him again for our larger event at Phipps Conservatory next year.
Mr. Goyda took our money and ran. He didn't show up to an appointment with my fiance and I. We sent a confirmation meeting text a week prior to our meeting day, and Mr. Goyda ignored it. We waited for 45 minutes at a Panera Bread and he was a no show. Hours later my fiance got a text saying he mixed up the dates. What a joke. He claims he has been marrying people for 25 years. He should know better to be on time and SHOW UP TO HIS APPOINTMENTS. He doesn't answer phone calls or emails in a timely matter or sometimes not even at all. It took us numerous tries via phone and email and text to get ahold of him for our appointment. My fiance and I are very organized and like to be on top of things. That includes making sure of clear communication with all of our vendors for our important day. Of course he showed up on time for our first appointment, which was when he got paid in full. He does not respect his customers. He refused to give us our money back even though our venue tried to reason with him. He has been black listed from the Hilton Garden Inn in southpointe due to how we treated us. They took him off the recommended vendor list and he is banned from doing any marriage ceremonies there as well. We could not relay on him to show up for our big day and rehearsal, so we fired him as our officiant. After firing him, he sent us the most inappropriate and unprofessional email and saying that we were the problem even though we did everything asked of us. He should be ashamed of himself and how he conducts business. I would never ever recommend his services to anyone. He is extremely untrustworthy and most of all a THEIF!!!!
We contacted Larry only 1 month prior to our date. He was more than patient and eager to help us plan the perfect, personalized ceremony. He answered all emails, texts and phone calls immediately. Although we were pressed for time, he made it a priority to meet with us (in person) and discuss the process and to attend our "Rehearsal Dinner." He was kind, caring, and genuine. We left him feeling excited about our wedding and confident in his professionalism and experience.
We can not thank Larry enough for his professionalism, talent, and sincerity. Larry came highly recommended by one of our vendors. We had a small elopement-style wedding in Pittsburgh with <30 days to plan it. We made all of the arrangements with Larry while out of state and he was super easy to work with! We met Larry two days before the wedding and thank goodness! He helped us prepare for the ceremony and helped me through the emotional moments of acknowledging relatives that could not be with us on our special day. Larry will always have a special place in our hearts.
Rev. Larry is a wonderful and caring wedding officiant. He knows what he is doing and he works hard to adjust his approach to the personality of the couple. We were married 15 years ago by Larry and he incorporated several spiritual traditions at our request. His delivery and control of the room sets the tone for the whole event. We are very thankful for Larry and recommend him highly!
Larry was awesome! He was punctual and enthusiastic! Enjoyed working with him very much!
11 years ago, Larry officiated our wedding. He was compassionate, caring, accommodating, and genuine. During the ceremony, we laughed and cried (happy tears of course) because he made it so personal for us. After the ceremony, many guests told us how unique and wonderful it was. Just yesterday, my husband and I attended a wedding that Larry officiated. Larry hasn't changed. He still is an authentic guy that continues to perform beautiful ceremonies.
Larry is the best! He was recommended to us by two other couples. He is kind, compassionate, and punctual. He was able to customize a ceremony that fit our personal and spiritual values. We are so grateful to have Larry for our special day.
Larry was great... very particular in making my daughters special day a great one..he traveled an hour to the destination and was very prompt..made us stress free ...thanks larry
