I recently had the opportunity to experience the artistry and professionalism of Melissa and her team. We were at a beautiful venue - The Brazilian Court Hotel in West Palm Beach. Her expertise and attention to detail was second to none. I walked into pure luxury. As an officiant, I have seen it all and a Melissa Davis Designs is perfection. Melissa Davis Designs, an event planning and wedding consulting firm based in South Florida, is owned and operated by Melissa Davis, a Coral Gables native. Melissa's outstanding creative talents and her commitment to her clients has earned her recognition as one of the premiere wedding planners in Florida. Those who work with Melissa and her team, vendors and clients alike, respect their absolute professionalism, warmth, sophistication, and creativity. Melissa specializes in destination weddings from Palm Beach to the Keys, throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Melissa Davis Designs' events resonate beautiful aesthetic designs, laughter & family, and wonderful fun-filled moments. Melissa loves living in South Florida. Her interests include Modern Art, floral & succulents design, gardening, entertaining (of course!) and days at the beach with her family. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Art History at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. Melissa worked as a television commercial producer in New York City for seven years before returning to her South Florida roots. She was delighted to have the opportunity to bring her business and creative talents back to Miami when she gained ownership of her family's twenty-year old endeavor; The Sweet Treat Emporium, a gourmet gift boutique and chocolatier. In 1997, Melissa sold Sweet Treat to launch a full-service event production and wedding planning company.

Hi, I am Melissa, the owner of Melissa Davis Designs. I have always been passionate about creative design and beautiful aesthetics. I started my wedding and event planning company 23 years ago. With over 250 “I Do’s”, I have the expertise and experience on everything wedding. Our promise to you: Make event planning fun. Design out of the box weddings. Collaborate with amazing, talented, respectful and kind vendors. Respond to our clients in a timely and efficient manner. We love what we do and our top priority is YOU!

ess, they were always available for any question I had and always gave thorough, extremely helpful answers. They recommended the best vendors and have close relationships with each, which was highly beneficial. On the day of my wedding, they took care of everything and made it look easy. Having them there took all my stress away because I knew I was in good hands. Above all, they treated my husband and I like family. They always treated us with utmost kindness, patience, and care. Melissa is not only professional, creative, and talented, but she is also the kindest person to work alongside. In addition to our wedding weekend running SO smoothly and stress-free, the whole weekend was filled with such love, energy, and warmth which we credit to Melissa and her team. Brittany and Bonnie were also a pleasure to work with. They were ALWAYS there when we needed them and got to know my husband and me so well - even leaving thoughtful touches in our room after the wedding on Saturday night. ntire wedding process. It was one of the most important decisions we made during our planning and we don’t regret it. She addressed all of our concerns, and had a plan and recommendations for everything. She recommended the best reception venue and our guests are still raving about the food a whole year later. She also recommended a great floral design company and our wedding and reception turned out absolutely beautiful. On our wedding day, it started to rain before the ceremony. We had a garden ceremony planned and didn’t know what to do. Melissa quickly handled the situation and we were able to keep the ceremony outside but out of the rain. It was a beautiful ceremony and we were very happy with it, Melissa has been event planning for a long time so she knows exactly what to do. She is great to work with and is very responsive to your needs. As soon as we hired her, our wedding planning became stress free and so easy. We strongly recommend Melissa. You won’t regret it!
