e both excellent. They have a very efficient process for fitting, ordering, and tailoring. When you walk into the store, they are always busy—and that should tell you how good they are. They were able to accommodate me with a tight wedding timeline and a groomsman who wasn’t able to be in person for fittings. They kept great track of me and my groomsmen, our measurements, and our order, and our tailoring during the whole process. The suits looked awesome, the price was great (on par with department stores for a quality wool suit and cheaper than some rentals I’ve encountered), and the service was fantastic.
I’m back again a year later for a suit for a friend’s wedding, and the place is the same. If I can help it, I won’t shop anywhere else for suits ever again.

peed at which we were helped, especially when the store was packed! It was at that point we decided my fiancé would get his wedding suit from here and so would our groomsman. We made an appointment to discuss our wedding vision, and this is where we met Andrew. My fiancé is not a fashion guy, and he had no idea what he wanted in a wedding suit. But Andrew took the time to get to know Mike, learn he loved Minnesota sports and fishing and chatted with him about those things (if you have been inside Milbern’s you know Andrew loves Minnesota sports, too!), and ultimately assisted him in designing a completely custom suit for our wedding. Mike is not a flashy guy, but he ended up choosing an extremely subtly-detailed paisley fabric for his suit and also added our engagement photos to the inside liner. When we went to go pick up the suit a few months later, Mike could not have been happier with the result. It was a truly beautifully crafted suit and he couldn’t have been smiling bigger. Plus, Andrew showed it off to other customers all over the store which really made Mike feel proud. On top of how stunning this suit was, Mike has never had a suit fit him as well as this suit did! From there, we were trying to find the best ties to put our groomsmen in. Andrew, Vivian, and Ron were all helping, grabbing different ties that went with our color scheme, and we had a lot of fun picking the winner. Not only does Milbern Clothing offer the top tier in custom suits, they truly could not be kinder and more helpful people. Because of our experience with Andrew, Mike will never buy a suit from anywhere other than Milbern. We still owe you some walleye, Andrew! Thank you for everything!

isn't a ton of stretch in them (so not quite as practical for the dance floor if your groomsmen love to party hard), but they all looked amazing! Making appointments was quick and easy, and the fitting process was very smooth. We did have a couple of groomsmen that are not from MN, but they were able to send in their measurements to Milberns so they didn't have to come to Minnesota just for an initial suit fitting. All of the suits fit the guys great! We were also very happy with their prices. The staff were all very professional and nice as well. Overall, we really liked working with Milberns and would absolutely use them again!

is now pushing into the $200 range, Milbern offers reasonably priced suits to OWN for the groom and groomsmen. Once you factor in shirt, tie, and shoes, it does become more expensive, but the suits look amazing, last for years, and you do not have to drag yourself out of bed the day after your wedding to return a bunch of smelly suits.
Vivian did our wedding consultation and she was fantastic, working with us for well over an hour trying on a dozen+ suits. When you walk in, you might feel a bit overwhelmed as it is chaotically busy at almost all hours of operation, but somehow they make it work. Some reviews I have read have a problem with the suits only being available for final pickup the week of the wedding, but after previously renting from Men’s Warehouse - they usually only have the suits ready a DAY or two before.
When one of the groomsmen went to pick up his suit before the wedding at Milbern, he wanted to have the hem on his pants let down about ½ inch. When he asked how long it would take (thinking he would need to come back tomorrow) the man helping us said “about 10 minutes”. He took the pants in the back and came back with perfect alterations. It is a great deal for the services and product they provide.

When we initially were shopping around for a vendor we noticed what a huge difference in customer service we received at Milbern’s which is what sold us on buying the suits from them. Milbern’s pricing is also competitive and buying suits from them were higher quality and less expensive than renting from a national store. During our very first visit we didn’t have an appointment and even though they were busy with customers, the sales associates made sure to check in with us and meet with us to determine what we were looking for. They also helped us match a tie for the grooms suit that would match the bridal bouquet and color scheme of the wedding. I would highly recommend Milbern for wedding suits or for your everyday suit needs.

As the bride, I was very flexible on the suit colors, but was treated as if I was being picky and only wanted one exact thing- this really couldn't be further from the truth. We were given a timeline that made it feel like we were behind, even though in actuality we were not. All of the times we went in to the store for fittings, it felt chaotic, and because we had a couple out of town Groomsmen we were treated like children asking for something that wasn't allowed. That being said, the outcome was incredible, but overall, the experience was definetly up and down. If you have out of town Groomsmen, this may not be the place for you!

We also decided to go down the path of designing a custom suit for myself, the groom, picking out the perfect fabric to compliment my groomsmen's suit, a custom suit liner full of pictures of my wife and I with personalized stitching, and picking out every detail to truly make a one of a kind outfit that helped make the day even more special.
They make sure the suit fits perfectly on you even making last minute adjustments when you pick it up.
All of this high quality service and high end suits come at a price that allowed myself and all their groomsmen to keep the suit as their own at a MUCH lower cost than Ive payed at other big box mensware outlets renting suits for other weddings I've been apart of.
I cannot recommend Milbern's enough to any couple looking for suits on their wedding day! The experience will leave you, your party, and most importantly, your bride ecstatic with joy looking the best on your most important day.
