he primary reason for that choice was that they literally sit next door to our selected wedding venue (The Addison Grove). It turned out to be an EXCELLENT choice for oh so many even better reasons! My daughter had difficulty articulating exactly what she was seeking - she had a few pictures, but otherwise a vague description of greens and whites with "pops of color", including orange (but not so much pink); ranunculus and similar flowers in lieu of traditional roses (but not too autumnal, or boho). Somehow - they understood her, and were able to make her vision a beautiful reality! Carrie Fick was a wonderful partner in the design process; she made great suggestions along the way to ensure the end result was the beautiful vision we hoped it would be, while still being mindful towards best use of budget for maximal impact. A few days before the wedding, it became clear that the planned outdoor wedding would have to come indoors due to the weather. The Native Bloom team deftly pivoted to create a ceremony space so rich with life, color, and warmth, you'd have never guessed it was only 40 degrees outside! Photos don't do it justice, but a few examples of their handiwork are included with this review. Native Bloom also provided greenery and draping across the event barn's high wooden beams and outside patio wall. It was the perfect touch to accent the area - not too jungle/Jumanji, just right. Their florals are also very healthy/fresh. We brought home several arrangements after the wedding, and 2 weeks later, we STILL had flowers! Considering that Valentine's Day had been just 8 days prior, which usually limits / depletes floral availability, that's pretty impressive. Native Bloom also provided florals for the rehearsal dinner in Austin, and they were equally fresh and beautiful. So if you're on the fence in search of a florist, whether for a wedding or any other event in the Austin / Texas Hill country area - don't be. Just call Native Bloom.

views and IG posts I had seen, so when I first met with Carrie my vision was very different from where we ended up on my actual wedding day. She was so accommodating to my changes and questions and helped guide me in the right direction through my indecisiveness in the final design. I basically showed her one picture that was my true inspiration piece because I couldn't find anything else that really matched what I had in my mind. Carrie and her team took that and truly made it come to life. I knew I was going to love the flowers but when they showed up day of I was honestly blown away by the final product. I can't count how many guests have told me and are still telling me how much they loved the flowers. Native Bloom absolutely killed it and I can't recommend them enough.

om team was such a pleasure to work with and very accommodating to my many different ideas and visions I had and continuously changed up to a month before the wedding. Each time I wanted to make changes in color scheme, types of florals, types of centerpieces, etc the team was there to schedule a call, talk it through and mock up a new quote which I really appreciated.
As the big day approached, I was able to go see all the centerpieces, candle holders, arbors, etc in person and they truly allowed me to communicate my vision with them so they could bring the vision to life!
When it came to executing on wedding day, they exceeded my expectations by far, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The florals were truly a highlight of our wedding, our guests could not stop talking about them and I couldn’t stop looking at our photos and thinking about how beautiful the florals are… I am preserving my bouquet and so glad I did so I can keep their beautiful work forever!

From initial planning through execution, it's clear how much they care about their clients. We covered the basics initially, but as we got more granular, it was easy to see how much Emily valued and then honored the specifics that I gave about my preferences. I would tell her I liked one inspo photo better than another only to open the quote and see she'd notated every single thing I said to ensure it was as close to perfect as possible. And their execution on the wedding day solidified their attention to detail and how deeply they cared about perfecting my vision. It blew my husband and I away.
If you want someone who is truly going to listen and lean in to your floral dreams, Native Bloom is the floral company for you. I ended up sending half my florals off for preservation because they were so beautiful I couldn't bear to part with them. From the beginning of the planning process, we loved our floral proposal-Carrie took the time to listen to our preferences and vision for our wedding, and created a floral look that reflected our tastes and the atmosphere of our wedding perfectly! She was also so helpful and collaborative throughout the planning process and helped us maximize our budget to get the look we dreamed of.
Our original floral plan was beautiful, but on our wedding day, it became even more amazing! About 48 hours before our wedding, an unusual ice storm caused our original venue to be unusable and we had to relocate to another venue nearby. Our new venue was gorgeous, but had some different features and a different look than the venue we had originally planned on. The Native Bloom team instantly got to work, implementing the exact look we wanted in our new space! They did a great job adapting our plan to our new venue, completely nailing the look and feel we wanted. Not only did Native Bloom do a great job implementing our planned flowers in a new location, BUT they went so far above and beyond to make our wedding absolutely gorgeous. They worked around the clock (including without power!) ahead of our wedding to make our wedding beautiful, and on top of that, they added in so many extra, stunning touches to make our new space look amazing-a bud vase wall, hanging greenery, and thoughtful, beautiful touches throughout. In addition to the beautiful arrangements and decor we had, we were so touched that Carrie and the Native Bloom team put so much thought, effort, and talent into our day- their care made our flowers feel so meaningful, in addition to being beautiful. Native Bloom absolutely transformed the spaces. Not only that, but my bridal bouquet was to die for. I thankfully got it preserved right after the wedding, so I'll always have that special bouquet. I worked directly with Luis at Native Bloom, and I had some inspiration photos and a few ideas, but he really took my ideas and made them come to life! One of my favorite memories of our florals was the way Luis incorporated some beautiful heirlooms from our grandparents who have passed away. ork at the venue's open house and seeing their pictures on Instagram, I felt comfortable moving forward. During the process, we went through several changes and Catya was patient with me as we worked through those. Most of the changes were due to the ceremony location changes and my budget restraints. At the end, I felt as though we got good value for the money spent. The flowers turned out BEAUTIFUL for the bouquets and on the tree, which was the main focal point and backdrop for the ceremony. The mix of blooms with soft pink and white colored flowers was perfect. The Native Bloom team was responsive and easy to work with. However, looking back at the pictures, I noticed there was a few things on day of that did not match the proposal we agreed on. For example, I had specifically picked out two large white vases for the ground arrangements near the entrance of the aisle at the ceremony, and those were were not there (flowers were set on the ground instead without a vessel you could see). The flowers did not look "bad" by any means - they were gorgeous, but it was just not not what we discussed. I had decided not do an arch at the entrance because I thought these flowers would be taller in the large vases at the entrance, which would make a similar statement. Again, it was not a big deal, but no one informed me of the change. Also, the guest table centerpieces' flowers and greenery were much more petite and not in the clear tray (vessel) we discussed in the proposal. I don't know if flowers were taken from those and reallocated to other arrangements or if it was just a misunderstanding. Overall, it was a good experience, and I was happy with the result on wedding day.

Ivory Oak. I was wary that they wouldn’t do enough color with our blooms since their social media has a lot of white/pastel/rosy hued florals, but they really knocked it out of the park with our color palette! We had various hues of purple as our primary color, with gold, warm yellows and burnt oranges as our secondary colors. While we did ask for more yellow/orange to be featured in our blooms since the rest of our decor focused on purple/gold, I thought there would be a little more varied purples in our arrangements. Was also hoping for a looser/more flowy bouquet, but what they created was still beautiful. (Design inspiration may have gotten lost in employee turnover since we’d been planning for 2+ years during the pandemic and they had some changes during that time.) Again, everything was still gorgeous and I loved the variety of color, textures and types of flowers used. It was fun, vibrant and unique. We added a tall install on our head table towards the end of the planning process and I’m glad we did because it made such a beautiful statement! I also liked the variety of vases they had available to use.

2 jumped right in and were so helpful. Kilby was very responsive and genuine with the replies. Jake was flexible in us changing a few things since 2019 and did everything he could to get the blooms we requested; we know it’s not easy during these times and he delivered on most everything possible. He turned such hard work into effortless results! The hints of pampas were ON POINT. I wish we could’ve kept some of the blooms at the end of the night to donate, but it was too hectic and difficult to coordinate. I really wanted to enjoy them for a little while longer!!
I learned so much throughout the planning process and what florals I enjoyed, with NB teaching me much more. ething the following week. I was patient since things have been difficult and also busy with the pandemic. So I emailed to follow up 2 weeks after our initial meeting and was told from Kilby I would hear something "by the end of the week". So when late afternoon that Friday arrived I sent another follow up email and they responded saying I would get it "in a few days". I then waited 11 days (4 weeks from my original meeting) before reaching out again. I got a response stating turnaround time was now 4-6 weeks from meeting time. So I sent an email at 6 weeks and got an automated response stating that "they're working on it". Obviously I've already gone with a different florist. But I don't recommend working with company as unprofessional as this and can't even uphold promises on a consult quote and proposal.
