Marcel was absolutely incredible! We could not be happier with the results. At our first meeting, it was clear that he "got" us and really listened to our requests. We left that initial meeting knowing that we were in good hands with Marcel and immediately felt that peace of mind we so needed. We had a few fun/different requests for our wedding and he nailed each of them flawlessly. Marcel was highly complimented by not just us, but our guests as well. We would recommend Marcel to our friends and family without a doubt. Great personality, easy to work with and responsive. He's simply the best!

Marcel and Nightshift Sounds was awesome during our wedding 2/17/24. Marcel made sure bride and groom were updated throughout and made sure everything was perfect for everyone. Not to mention, the crowd (as did we) didn’t miss a beat to each of the songs he played. It was a wonderful time and we so appreciate Nightshift!
Honestly Marcel is the best DJ. He did my daughter’s wedding and the music was perfect. Even though our guests were not the dancing kind 😀 He found the right combination of music to get them on the floor. I can’t recommend him highly enough!
Very professional. very organized. very experienced. Excellent communication (week of the wedding everything was finalized as far as the songs and what we wanted to do via phone call).
Even if you do not have a wedding planner, do not worry! These guys know the job, they know what to do and they do it!
There are many things a bride and the groom worry about on the wedding day but this DJ is not one of those worries.
Marcel and Nightshift Sounds Entertainment added such an amazing element to our daughter and son-in-law's wedding and reception. Marcel was extremely professional and very responsive to all of our email inquiries. The ceremony microphones were perfect, and audio could be clearly heard by all in attendance. Marcel was awesome! From the very beginning he was very responsive. He answered any questions we had almost immediately. The week before the wedding he called just to verify everything was how we wanted it. The night of went great! He stuck to our song suggestions and took requests from our guest. Gaetano was the DJ for our wedding and he absolutely brought the house down! We were dancing all night. He quickly picked up on the songs our guests responded most enthusiastically to and based his selections off of that. He played a great mix of songs that appealed to all generations. He was very attentive and kept checking in with us throughout the night. Marcel gave me a phone call the week of the wedding to go over the planning forms and make sure they had the correct versions of the songs for our ceremony & special dances. Website is very user friendly as well. Would 100% recommend this vendor!

I found Nightshift Sounds Entertainment through my wedding venue’s vendor recommendation list. Once I visited the website and saw some of the reviews and videos, I was sold! Marcel, the owner, was super responsive and on top of things. One thing I really loved about working with Nightshift is the customer portal section on the website. It allows you to organize your thoughts and request all the songs which helps when it comes to planning a million other things! Marcel definitely made our wedding one to remember!

We told them an idea of what genre wanted (which was like a lot of different genres) and they knew EXACTLY what to play. Marcel was so kind and is so good at what he does! The moment I met Marcel at a wedding expo, I could tell he was a guy who was professional and would get things done, and I was so right! Marcel was the best DJ we could have hired. In every single interaction prior to and during the wedding, he was professional and organized, which is so nice when you have a million vendors you are trying to keep tabs on. On the day of the wedding, he was on time and did such an awesome job emceeing and selecting music that was appropriate for the mood. He kept us dancing all night and made everything flow so well! If you are looking for a seasoned DJ who will be nothing but a joy to work with and will keep the party going, this is 100% your guy.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Our DJ for the wedding reception was Guy and he was incredible! He was very professional and had the dance floor jumping all night! He was very good at reading the room and changing things up when necessary. We had such a blast and Nightshift Sounds was a big part of that! Thank you so much!
NSE was absolutely AMAZING! We had the best time! Marcel played music right up our alley! He played at my friend’s wedding and that is where we found him! Both times he was awesome! We had a couple of extra exciting things that night! He was so helpful with it all! We did a special grand entrance and our baby boy’s gender reveal! It was literally the BEST. DAY. EVER.!! We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding they had been to. For my husband and I to play the shoe game and that made it so much more fun! He also provided sound/microphones for my ceremony and sound/lighting for the reception. Highly recommend! He sets you up an account online and that is where you put everything you need about your day. When your wedding day gets close, he calls and goes over everything to make sure you both are on the same page!
Marcel and Nightshift Sounds without a doubt made our entire wedding a dream. Marcel has such a gift of reading a crowd and progressing the events of a wedding flawlessly. They have an impressive selection of music and accommodated all of our special requests. My now husband and I had been through the ringer trying to have our wedding three different times throughout COVID-19. When things fell apart the first two times, Marcel was always supportive to us during such a devastating time. His kindness and encouragement is something I will never forget. Even up until crunch time, he was still lifting us up and assuring us that a nearby rocket test launch would not affect our special day. Marcel is the best! The music was on point and kept people dancing throughout the entire reception! I don't think I sat down once because I was having so much fun. Marcel also generated two dance mixes for me. He made a fun mash-up of songs for my stepfather and I to dance to in addition to merging a voicemail from my father into one of his favorite songs which means the world to me. I cannot recommend this guy enough. He was amazing and made our wedding awesome.

Marcel was more than willing to help answer any and every question I had when trying to find music and our DJ Jared was personable and with us and our guests and made our night absolutely perfect!
We loved working with Marcel, Guy and the Nightshift Sounds team. The majority of our guests stayed on the dance floor for the entirety of the reception - even the father of the groom was waving his suit jacket at one point. The range in song selection was perfect and they were able to easily mashup songs for our first dance and the mother/son dance. Another neat feature of Nightshift is having a portal for guests to submit their requests in advance of the wedding and you have the ability to control guest requests in case there is a song that you don’t want the DJ to play. Suffice to say, music is an important component of many a wedding and you won’t find a better DJ to set the mood. We can’t recommend them enough!
Marcel did a great job from start to finish! As a planner, I loved the online forms he had for us to fill out for ceremony and reception and really appreciated the calls beforehand to make sure we were all on the same page. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a DJ/MC that’s on top of everything and can read the crowd well!

Gaetano was our DJ for the wedding and he was AWESOME! I had a destination wedding in Mobile, AL and never spoke to Gaetano or Marcel on the phone until a week before. I prefer email communication and they were great at it. I met them a week before and knew they would do a great job. People are still telling me how awesome the music was at our wedding. Gaetano got the crowd going and through the entire night people were on the dance floor. He also did a great job with adjusting with the flow of our wedding and working with my wedding planner.

Marcel worked our wedding almost two weeks ago and we are still talking about how amazing he was. We threw a couple of curve balls his way the day of the wedding with some minor changes, and he was happy to make those changes work. The music he played was spot on with the vibe we were going for and there were people dancing for the majority of the night. Marcel is the best!! My husband was so set on having a band at our wedding, but for several reasons we decided on a DJ. At first he was hesitant, but after meeting with Marcel, he was sold! We are both pretty picky with our music taste, and Marcel was able to please not only us, but our 350 guests as well. We love to dance, and we were able to just that! Best DJ service ever!!! I met Marcel at a bridal show in Biloxi. He was so professional but nice and fun at the same time!! From the moment I called him to get more info he was on top of everything! Explained every detail very thoroughly, emailed me multiple times with different info and links, and just checking in with me! Their online setup was very easy to use! And it’s very helpful when you’re trying to pick songs out for special dances! And I loved how you could send a link to anybody and they could go and request songs also!
Joe aka DJ SoySauce was our DJ for our wedding night and he was absolutely amazing! We talked and went over everything to finalize things about a week before the wedding, and he was very helpful with certain things I still had questions about! He rocked the house out the night of the wedding! There wasn’t a song where people weren’t up and dancing! He knew how to read the crowd very well! I have gotten so many compliments on him! They’re really the best!!
Nightshift Studios made our reception so much fun!! His online planning fit around my busy schedule which was a HUGE plus. I also loved sharing the link for our guests to request songs instead of having to print something out for them. He had sooooooooo many songs in his library, but the one song we wanted for our walk out. I put it in my plan anyway and noted what album it was from. He made sure he had it for our big moment!! DJ Marcel was interactive with the crowd but never too much, he really could read the crowd and plan things accordingly. He also has "GOBO" additions; we loved having our names and date lit up on the wall. We got great feedback from our guests about how fun he was. DJ Marcel was one of the best vendors I worked with for my wedding! You will NOT regret having him as part of your day!

I was nervous about having a DJ instead of band, because we’ve all been to “that” wedding and felt bad for the bride and groom because their DJ was terrible. But friends, that is not the case with Marcel! He was unbelievably attentive to our crowd and played the best mix of songs we could have ever hoped for! We had so many compliments afterwards about how wonderful he was and how much fun everyone had. If you’re in the market for a DJ, I highly recommend Marcel and Nightshift Sounds!!
This DJ is awesome. He walked us through everything that he needed from us, and confirmed it several times to make sure that nothing would be left out. The music was awesome and you can pick what you want to hear or not hear. I would definitely recommend.
Marcel was an excellent choice for our wedding. He provided excellent audio for the ceremony and kept the reception going all night! A key focus of Marcels service that was especially appreciated was keeping all parties involved for important moments. Every time we needed a photographer or a groomsman, Marcel had already handled it!

Nightshift made it so easy for me and made me feel very assured that everything would be great. When we met with Joe to go over all the details, he made it even better! We loved these guys! Great communication, even better planning forms. Our MC was Guy, he was young but had 10X the personality of other dj’s ive seen at weddings. He kept the dance floor full and made it a point to check with me about the schedule of things or any odd requests. The music played off of our songs was exactly our taste. 100% recommend Guy and Nightshift!

This company blew our wedding out of the water. This team from beginning to end was very supportive and always there for us. Not only were we able to select a lot of our songs, they confirmed how we wanted to run the event, and kept us in line throughout. They also have a great user based site to choose songs, pay, etc. Very user friendly.
Joe was our DJ and couldn't have asked for anyone better. Joe was the most professional since day 1 and respected everything my wife and I wanted. He would throw ideas out there, and adjust to how we wanted the event to run. He was able to customize the playlist to make everything flow which was great. He kept us in line and was keeping us updated throughout the wedding. If we wanted to adjust something, he would do it. We were extremely happy the company set us up with Joe, and all the family was also very happy to have him as our DJ.

Nightshift Sounds literally saved my wedding. We booked a DJ 10 months prior to our wedding. He took our deposit and never contacted us, or responded to us again. The week before our wedding, our photographer recommended us to Nightshift Sounds. Nightshift immediately contacted us and was incredible throughout the whole frantic process, and profusely apologized on behalf of the whole DJ community for our crappy DJ who fell off the face of the Earth (don’t go to Azalea City DJs). Nightshift has an amazing helpful website that allows us to choose songs for each part of the reception (dances, cake-cutting etc.) and they even added all the requests guests had sent in on the RSVP cards also. They have a TON of music to pick from—from all genres. We even got to have the Harry Potter theme play for our cake-cutting! Our DJ, Gaetano, I cannot recommend highly enough. He was utterly FANTASTIC. He caught us right before we walked in and several times he came up to me to make sure he was doing everything I wanted. Gaetano read the crowd and always knew EXACTLY what to play to get the crowd dancing. He was a PERFECT emcee, and he is seriously the best DJ I have ever encountered. Nightshift Sounds, and Gaetano, saved my wedding reception from being a silent disaster. If you do not at least contact these guys to DJ your events, you are really missing out.

We absolutely loved Marcel! He’s fun, professional, experienced, and made the whole reception flow seamlessly. It was so easy for us to choose our music using the online planning forms for the ceremony and reception, and we even had a link to share with our guests so they could request their favorite songs ahead of time! He was also extremely flexible and stayed an extra hour so our wedding party could keep dancing! I absolutely recommend Nightshift Sounds Entertainment to anyone looking for someone that provides a high-quality service and easy to work with.
Gaetano was the DJ at our wedding and he did a great job for both the ceremony and reception! He adhered to our Do Not Play list and kept the party going until the last song! Would definitely recommend Nightshift Sounds for your wedding DJ!

I'm not even sure where to begin! I met Marcel at a Bridal Expo & booked him without my husbands knowledge! He was so worried about my choice because he had never heard of them. After our first meeting, he looked at me and said " now I see exactly why you picked him". Marcel was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING throughout my entire wedding planning experience. I had MANY obstacles in my wedding planning process and at every step of the way he reassured me that everything would be ok! One month before our wedding I found out that the wedding coordinator at our venue had quit. The venue recommended that I find another wedding coordinator. I was devastated. I had a meeting the next night with Marcel and he immediately made me feel better! He was simply a god send! Our entire wedding went off flawlessly! Everyone had an amazing time. He truly knows how to work a crowd. The music he played helped our entire day flow perfectly. He made sure that everyone at our wedding was having a good time! We are truly blessed to have found such an amazing DJ for our wedding!!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH MARCEL!!!!

After we submitted all of our requests, they called us a couple days beforehand to go over everything and provide advice based on their experience on how to incorporate all the special songs we wanted to include. They were also very flexible in switching out a few traditional activities for a few more modern ones.
During the ceremony they mic'd us perfectly so everyone could hear us, but we were still able to whisper to each other without the mics picking it up. During the reception they were flexible and included any shout outs and extra song requests we and the guests had. We were so sad when it was over! Everyone had such a fantastic time :)
Nightshift Sounds DJ my reception at the grand magnolia ballroom in Pascagoula, MS. He was well prepared for the event area and what kind of sound equipment was needed. Marcel is absolutely amazing for any event. He played anything and everything that kept the party going! I honestly gave him a blank sheet or what to play except for the important songs (cake cutting, introductions, etc..) and he killed it! If you want to book a DJ with peace of mind they are your best option.
Marcel at Nightshift Sounds was an excellent DJ for out wedding!! His wedding planning website is an awesome tool to help with your music selections. He is very professional and got the job done! He knew exactly what he was doing and we are very pleased. He kept in contact with me and had recommendations for music when my bride-brain was drawing a blank. We would certainly choose him again!
Marcel was our wedding DJ and we absolutely loved him! He was fantastic.
