Nina was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and prepared from day one. We had a day of coordinator through our venue but decided to also hire Nina in addition and gosh did she work wonders. If you have a coordinator through your venue and are wondering if you might need a little more support- hire Nina. We can’t speak more highly of her and strongly recommend her! We went with her for coordination services and I have no idea what we would have done without her. From helping to bustle my dress when no one could, to getting stains out of my dress from my first bite of food (yikes!) and even knowing how to get my dress off of the cardboard mold it was pressed on and steaming dresses the day before. She knew and thought of it all! She also supported us every step of the way during our reception helping us stay on schedule, know exactly what to do like where to stand, what to expect, and even how to hold the knife and cut the cake since I was shaking I was so nervous throughout many moments in the day not only from nerves but also from some family drama. But we were able to have such a great night with Nina’s help keeping us on schedule and supporting us every step of the way. She is great at what she does and you will not regret booking with her.

We highly recommend Nina as a wedding planner! We had the full service package. From our first meeting on, Nina was always there to answer our questions, give us advice, and come with us to all of our meetings. I think that I communicated with her more than most people throughout the wedding planning process! She was always punctual and thoughtful in her responses. As the MOB, I knew I needed someone to help coordinate my daughter's wedding so that I could enjoy the day. I hired Nina for her coordination services and she was outstanding! Before the wedding, she provided great suggestions for the day as well as excellent vendors. She did a wonderful job coordinating the rehearsal, making sure that all participants knew what to do, where to be, and when to be there - so important! On the wedding day, Nina and her assistant made sure that everything was perfect. They steamed bridesmaid dresses, set up all the decorations, coordinated with all the vendors, and packed up everything at the close of the evening. Nina's services were invaluable and I would highly recommend her.

Nina was my day-of coordinator and I don't know how we would have gotten through our COVID wedding without her help. Nina is AMAZING - so thorough, detail-oriented, and knows EXACTLY what she is doing. She helped me out through the emotional rollercoaster of getting through a pandemic wedding, the stresses of having and planning a wedding, and the little touches that she brought for us and to us from not just the wedding day but everything coming up to the big day -- I thank GOD I found her!! Nina was recommended by the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium for our 25th anniversary party at the Heart of Africa venue. She also assisted with our night-before event for out-of-town guests at The Wilds, the zoo’s conservation center near Zanesville. In addition to the two events, Nina helped arrange transportation to and from The Wilds and the zoo for our guests and took care of a number of other details, including recommending other vendors who understood what we wanted and delivered for our three-day event. Nina was a delightful partner, helping us shape our event — even during our party, when she suggested that we share the audio during our silent replay of our wedding ceremony, an enhancement to the celebration. Nina was outstanding. We interviewed a few wedding plannings, and Nina was the most organized and prepared. We hired her for a full service. We had a wedding size of 120 people. We got married at a church and had our reception at the Ohio Statehouse. Our guest list was tricky as we had people coming from out of state, different countries, and non-speaking English guests. Nina took the time to get to know us and guided us to create a gorgeous wedding based on our tastes and personalities. She was excellent at keeping the wedding party informed about timelines and locations. If you are looking for someone who would genuinely care for you and treat you better than a customer, you do not need to look further because Nina can deliver. Nina was more than a wedding planner for us, and we would always remember her kind soul, caring nature, and wisdom.

Nina did a fabulous job helping coordinate my daughter's wedding! Her years of experience made all the difference in the world. She made great suggestions, handled all of the communications between the vendors and venue, came to the rehearsal dinner to pick up all of the bridal party's garments, took care of transporting all of the decor to and from the venue, and so much more. I cannot day enough about the efficiency and professionalism that Nina provides as a wedding consultant. We utilized Nina’s service as a day of coordinator( which really is a service that begins 3 months before the actual wedding date). Nina provided so much in the way of ideas and facilitated every detail down to the letter every step of the way. Nina went above and beyond what is considered “normal” for a wedding consultant, and did it with a smile on her face. I simply cannot come up with enough adjectives to articulate the level of competency and service you will get when using Nina to aid in your most important day. Hiring Nina Marie Weddings was our BEST wedding decision. We hired her as a day-of-coordinator, but she did so much more than we anticipated. We did not have an easy wedding to coordinate -- from food trucks to a blank slate reception hall and a lot of nutty family members -- there was a lot to be done and Nina took it in stride and kept everyone organized. My husband and I (as well as our parents!!) were able to breathe and enjoy our day, knowing that everything was in her capable hands.

Nina was absolutely incredible!! I would highly recommend her as our wedding was flawless. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to Nina, and we couldn't be more grateful. She was also a huge help leading up to our wedding day. When we needed to add a backdrop for our ceremony, Nina had a fantastic vendor lined up immediately who was able to really execute the exact look we were going for. Oh wow. If I could give more stars I would! We were on the fence about getting as coordinator, we weren't sure if we wanted another wedding expense, but Nina was definitely worth every dollar! She was absolutely exceptional as our coordinator. Even though we chose her "day of coordination" package, she really started working with us about three months out from our wedding. She made herself available anytime we needed her, and made us feel totally at ease. She took over all communication with our vendors about a month before the wedding, so we just had one person (her) that we needed to contact with ANY questions/changes/concerns. We had two ceremonies in one day (a Hindu and Christian ceremony), and Nina and her team were there with us from 7 in the morning until we left at 10 at night. More than just being there, she made sure everyone in our wedding party knew our schedule (that she also helped us come up with) and was able to help us stick to it without being pushy or making us feel rushed. When we made last minute changes, she seamlessly accommodated them without issue. Even though our day was long, she made sure that we and our guests felt comfortable and happy throughout. I can't say enough good things about her!

Nina is in a league of her own. Choosing to work with her was hands-down the best decision we made in wedding planning. Nina is experienced, professional and guides you every step of the way. Nina made the entire wedding planning process far less stressful and the wedding day flawless. I honestly don't know how you can truly just sit back and enjoy every second of your wedding day without someone like Nina in charge to make sure everything is going according to plan. Nina is an amazing planner! With a fairly elaborate wedding, an out-of-town bride, and a mostly out-of-town guest list, we had our work cut out for us, but Nina turned what could have been a stressful and time-consuming process into a fun and stress-free exercise. From booking the hotel blocks to finding a vendor to preserve the bride’s bouquet after the wedding, Nina was with us every step of the way. My wedding day was fun, joyful, seamless, and stress-free, and that is all because of Nina! She has such a wealth of knowledge, experience, and joy when it comes to planning weddings. My husband and I are busy working professionals with non-local families. We are also both very particular and very type A. When it came to our wedding we wanted everything to be just perfect! Nina Marie Weddings (NMW) was a perfect fit for the task of executing our wedding in a 3-month period and with the bride and groom residing 2,000 miles away! With limited time, we needed someone that was experienced and up for the challenge. Without hesitation, NMWs jumped right in. There were 3 package options to fit the needs of the couple and we needed help from every direction! NMWs, specifically Nina, was incredibly detailed and brought attention to areas we could have missed had we not had her expertise! She is so kind and an absolute pleasure to work with. She is also results-oriented, makes things happen and keeps it all together! She alleviated so much stress so the family could enjoy the weekend. NMWs assisted with so many aspects of the wedding but contacting vendors was especially helpful if some were more responsive then others, kept track of the contracts, and an amazingly detailed timeline was created to make sure everyone was on the same page – from the wedding party to the vendors. One vendor specifically noted that this was the best, most detailed coordinator out of the hundreds he has worked with. My guests continue to mention how beautiful the day turned out and how seamless the transitions of the evening were – The wedding day ran smoothly and regardless of the unpredictable Ohio weather, the indoor backup plan turned out to be a better, more beautiful plan than the original outdoor setup. It was breathtaking from beginning to end. Our vision was truly turned into a reality thanks to NMWs and the day is unforgettable. It should be noted that NMWs graciously assisted our entire family and again, the attention to detail before, during and after the wedding made it a memorable planning process and weekend overall.

One of my best friends and bridesmaids had told me that the one thing I needed to get for my wedding was to splurge a little and get a day-of coordinator because it would pay for itself. I could not agree more! It was so nice to have someone else in charge of all the details and times for vendors to arrive and get paid, etc! My family and I were able to enjoy the actual day instead. Nina was quick to respond to emails and full of great advice. We met with her twice during the planning process before the wedding weekend.

When we first started planning our wedding we were on the opposite side of the world. My fiance had just asked me to marry him in Sydney, Australia over NYE and we were living in New Zealand. We really wanted to get married in less than a year, but planning a wedding on the other side of the world can be challenging. Nina made that all possible. Nina is wonderful!! My whole family as well as my husband's, and the bridal party, commented on how smooth and easy she made our wedding day. She took care of everything. If there was any problem or a question she would take care of it and I did not have to worry about a single thing. Even if you think you don't need a wedding planner, you should get one anyways because they think of things you will never think of and they make planning and running a wedding 100% easier. Nina is the best there is!

My fiancé and I found Nina Banks of Nina Marie Weddings to be a vital part of both the planning process and especially the day of the wedding. She was recommended to me by a friend, who insisted she was a miracle worker. Not only did we get the benefit of her expertise, but she paid for herself in the form of deals she was able to negotiate with vendors. Nina was always very thorough and prompt in replying to questions. I found her to be excellent in reading her client, and establishing what kind of relationship is desired – more of a “hands-off and I’m here to help when you need me,” or something more involved. She was a great tie-breaker also when you and a family member disagree on what is “normal” for the modern wedding (yes, these will happen). And there’s no price on someone handling the details on the day of the wedding - I didn’t have to worry about a thing! There’s peace of mind to know there is someone else who will handle all of the little mishaps, issues with guests, etc. that you don’t want to concern yourself with on your wedding day.
