NW Mobile DJ Service

we loved our experience working with this DJ service. they played all the songs we requested and we even had a few we really didn’t want to play and they made sure to keep them off their playlists. everything was perfectly timed. the DJ was fun and respectful and great to work with.

Jenn is freaking AWESOME!! We were really particular about our DJ both because we are a queer couple who wanted to make sure the DJ honored our love. AND because my wife is obsessed with music. She was so incredible at reading the crowd and focusing in on what Lizzy and I wanted in those special moments at our wedding. She’s fun to communicate with, super thorough and you can tell she has a ton of fun doing what she does! Hire her—you won’t regret it!!

I loved working with NW Mobile DJ services. They were very responsive and answered all the questions I had. They played all the requested songs and got everyone on the dance floor with the songs they played. I highly recommend them for your event. We had Jenn DJ our wedding, and she was lovely and coordinated/transitioned the speeches, cake cutting, bouquet, and garter toss very smoothly.

We had such a great experience with Kevin at our wedding. I gave him a list of "no play" and "yes play" and I heard everything I asked for throughout the evening. His timing throughout the ceremony and reception was perfect, and he helped my family get ready for the toasts and dances. Very professional, and so nice to work with (all my vendors love working with him, too!)

Thanks to Kevin & Erik at NW Mobile DJ Service, my wedding was absolutely perfect! I was relaxed and knew I didn't need to worry about anything because the DJ was on time, professional, had a fun and easy going presence, and most importantly was doing a superb job of following our event timeline and music playlist. All of our questions were answered in a timely manner and they always made us feel well taken care of. I had several guests personally tell me on the night of and even days after the wedding that we had the best DJ ever. And this bride agrees!

Kevin at NW Mobile DJ Services is amazing. He came highly recommended from my seamstress ‎‎(Andrea Hoyt) and wedding coordinator who had worked with him several times in the past. We ‎purchased the Golden Wedding Package (package #4) as we had the ceremony in the Library room of the Sentinel Hotel ‎and the reception in the Billiards room down that hall. With little guidance, other than the planned ‎dances, Kevin kept the dance floor packed. His pricesare very reasonable and possibly a steal with how ‎easy it is to communicate with him and how smooth the whole night run.‎

Amazing service. Kevin was super friendly and easy to get in touch with. Answered all our questions and helped us stay on top of everything. Jen was great at the wedding. She checked in with our coordinator and us to make sure everything was going according to plan. The music was great and she did an excellent job accommodating the range of musical tastes on the dance floor.

Kevin (the owner of the business) was awesome with all the prewedding communications, which made my preparation much easier. Erik was who we got for our DJ. He is absolutely amazing, very experienced and knows what to do when. All our guests loves him !

I met them at the Portland bridal show, and immediately knew that they would be the right fit for my wedding. I hired Kevin to do my reception, and he was so great. Easy to work with prior to the wedding and amazing at the wedding. He was a great MC and took some non verbal cues to stop some of the planned dances a little early. Our group wasn’t a huge “dancing /party “ crowd but he still managed to keep people on the dance floor. Toward the end of the wedding, most of the guests were gone and he spent the last hour just playing whatever my groom and I asked for. It was perfect! Thank you so much Kevin!

Shawn was our DJ and he was fantastic! He really kept the party going and was able to please ALL of our guests. I am still hearing from our guests of all ages (grandparents, nieces) how much fun they had dancing. Shawn was also very professional and really knew what he was doing!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, their services were impeccable. Kevin was fantastic to work with. Everything was so smooth and easy. He kept the party alive throughout the night and skillfully tailored the playlist to the crowd. He really listened to our minimal guidance and, with the wide discretion we gave him, absolutely nailed everything. He even caught a single line in the Maid of Honor's speech that was pulled from a super obscure song and played that song soon afterward without being prompted. He adds extra value for being an excellent MC. Throughout the planning and execution he was friendly, professional, responsive, and courteous. We couldn't have been happier with his services!

Kevin knocked it out of the park at our wedding. Not only did he accommodate all of our requests, he added in some really amazing song choices of his own for our grand entrance and cake cutting. He really "got" us right away. We got the karaoke package as well which was an absolute blast. I actually had a hard time getting people to STOP requesting songs at the end of the night. He and his partner were super fun and got the whole room involved. Thank you, Kevin! You really made this an unforgettable event!!

I can't say I had a good experience with Kevin and NW mobile dj. Out of all the components of our wedding, music was absolutely the most important for me (bride). I attempted to communicate clearly what I was and wasn't looking for in our DJ, including a list of songs I requested not be played. One of the songs I explicitly asked for to not be played during the reception was literally the first song played on the dance floor. I also specifically requested no colored strobe lights during the receotion, which was also violated. I left the dance floor to have the DJ take it down. In addition, I tried to make a list of artists in a genre we were looking for for cocktail hour and dinner music (artists like Ray Lamontagne, Iron & Wine, Bon Iver and other acoustic/Indie folk music). The DJ's response was that we needed to make an exact playlist if we had certain artists we requested. I tried handling this professionally and geacefully through an email after the wedding and the feedback was well received (I believe) but I still would absolutely NOT recommend NW mobile to anyone if music is even slightly important. We essentially paid $1,000 for someone to play a playlist we created and then to completely butcher the dance portion. I completely regret trusting NW mobile.

Kevin was absolutely fantastic and so easy to work with. He knew our venue well and was able to give great advice. He wasn't the one who did the service on the actual day of, but the person who did (I so wish i remembered his name) was AMAZING! I only got to speak with him once, very quickly but many of my bridesmaids got to. He was able to pick up on the theme and style of our wedding and asked one of my bridesmaids if we were into a certain kind of music since it fit the theme. I loved that he asked about what our tastes were before going ahead with anything but it was absolutely PERFECT! I couldn't recommend them more.

Kevin was an absolute pleasure to work with, emailing back and forth answering all my questions while I figured out whether or not a DJ or just a sound system was right for my wedding. I ran into him a couple of times at wedding shows and asked some more questions, then I finally came to the conclusion that I would just rent the sound system and do music myself, and it turned out perfectly! The guy came out and setup quickly and thoroughly explained how everything worked, and when we finished a little earlier than expected he came as soon as he could to tear it down and take it away. I highly suggest this company for your DJ services, you won't be disappointed!

Kevin was so nice! He is awesome with the crowd and is great at keeping things moving along the timeline! I would totally recommend him to any of my family or friends!!

We were so incredibly pleased with Kevin and NW Mobile DJ! Kevin is not one of those "annoying" DJs who talks too much; he is extremely professional and had everyone at our wedding out dancing on the dance floor. He was right on cue and stayed true to the timeline; also very reasonably priced. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Fanch was amazing! He went ABOVE & BEYOND for our wedding with the lights, stayed on point with music the entire night and got everyone of our favorite songs played. The music was my husbands favorite part! Jeff did everything he could to make the night run smoothly from helping with speeches to making the right music happen at the right time. He is amazing!

We had such a good experience with Northwest Mobile DJ Service! Kevin, the owner, was so nice and very responsive to any questions we had. We had submitted a number of requests from our guests as well as our own personal preferences and our DJ, Eric, did such an amazing job of playing all of that, plus other songs that went with the mood at the time, plus new requests that came in spontaneously that night. My husband and I love to dance and we had the perfect dance party at our wedding thanks to this DJ service!

Several different age groups at a wedding of only 130 people you would think would be difficult to please, but, Mark did it! We wers so surprised and delighted that the guests kept the party going for another hour. Incredible celebration and it wouldn't have happened without such a dynamic DJ.

Kevin at Northwest Mobile DJ was the DJ for our ceremony and reception. He did a great job! He also brought a projector so we could show a slideshow.

MY DJ Josh was the staple of the wedding!! He was amazing and I don't think I could have made it through the night without him! I am still getting compliments from my guests about him
