Danny Farrell is a rockstar! He made our wedding so smooth and so much fun. He's sweet, funny, organized, and played all the music we wanted him to play. Our guests, and Vince and I absolutely loved him. We were on the dance floor the entire time after dinner. We highly recommend NYC DJ's in LA with Danny Farrell. He's communicative, receptive, and is super chill to work with. We couldn't be happier!!!! Book Danny in advance if you can though because he's popular! We booked him almost a year in advance. There is no words to describe how amazing Danny is. He guided our wedding perfectly and had the most perfect balance of dinner music, dance music etc. If I could give 5 million star review, I would! Best thing about Danny, is he is just a really nice, fun guy and super easy to work with. I wouldn’t use any other DJ for anything...wedding or any event! Danny was awesome. He met with us a month or two before our wedding to understand who we were and what we were looking for. He also provided a super comprehensive online form for us to fill out that made it so easy to pick our music preferences and explain how we wanted our event to go. At our wedding, Danny delivered and everyone had a great time. He didn't skip a beat and he kept all of our guests engaged and dancing the entire time. We couldn't have asked for anything more. A+.

NYC DJ's was a preferred vendor that our venue recommended, and now I know why. While we negotiated the contract details and pricing through Danny (who is awesome by the way), on the day of our wedding, our DJ was Oscar. Oscar rocks. He did everything perfectly from getting all our song selections correct (I was at a wedding once when the DJ played the wrong first dance song - it was super awkward) to the last minute cancellation of the centerpiece giveaway at my request (guests were getting antsy to dance). People were on the dance floor all night. Oscar was also very personable and entertaining, we got lots of compliments on how awesome he was. Also, a cute story - three of my nieces (ages 9, 8, and 4) wanted to do a special dance for us and Oscar was fine with it as long as it was fine with us (of course it was), and he let them pick the song. So he did a great job of making sure outside the norm requests were okay with us and still keeping all the guests happy. If you're in the OC area and need a DJ, look no further. Danny and team are the way to go!

Danny is awesome. My husband and I got married at FCCLA which is a beautiful church and he was one of the recommended DJs. From the first time we met with him to our wedding day, he was always personable, cool, fun and professional. He has a great set-up that seems advanced and he made sure to follow all of our wants and desires for the type of music we wanted. All of our guests loved our reception and loved dancing. He event played a Korean pop song that we requested which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend him for any wedding or event. Kudos to Danny! Danny is truly a gem! We loved him. He's an amazing DJ! Even from our first call we could tell he would be our #1 pick. He really got us and understood our music style right from the start. We felt really comfortable with him throughout the planning process and didn't have any worries that he would do the job well! He was super professional, accessible, and also fun. No one wanted to leave the dance floor, which was exactly what we had hoped for. We had even asked for a few special requests in the days leading up to the wedding and he played them no problem, everything went really smoothly. His timing was great too. Danny is definitely a wedding DJ you can trust with all of your wedding needs! Lastly, we're so glad we got his lighting package too, it was all a blast! So sad it's over but have amazing memories for a lifetime! We highly recommend him!

When planning our wedding, my husband and I both agreed that the most important part for us would be the music and the party. We interviewed more DJs than all of our other vendors combined and I can honestly say that we made the right decision in hiring Danny! Here's what made Danny so amazing: 1. Music Mixing - I've been to a lot of weddings where a DJ puts on a track, waits for it to finish, and then plays the next song. this is not a DJ! Danny was able to mix smooth transitions between songs. He also knew when to cut away early from a less popular song and when to play the whole song based on the crowd. 2. Our First Dance - We asked Danny to cut out a very specific section from our first dance song. Less than an hour later he sent over a shortened version of the song with a seamless edit that only someone who knew every word would have been able to pick up on. 3. Our Music - I've been planning my wedding playlist since I was 14 and gave Danny a list of of 9 hours of music to choose from. He played every must hear song and did a wonderful job selecting a good order for music. Songs that I did not think he would know he was able to mix wonderfully into the setlist. 4. The Vibe - We got both lighting packages from Danny and it set an amazing party vibe in the room. He transitioned from day time elegance to night time party. the room looked amazing and it showed. People danced non stop and many guests came up to us afterwards complimenting Danny. The dancing never stopped! The best compliment came from a relative who was worked weddings for 40 years. He said that Danny was the best DJ he has ever seen.

I cannot rave enough about how awesome Jason at NYC djs was at my wedding. He was professional, attentive, and a lot of fun. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure every part of the wedding went without a hitch. Timing was impeccable and everything was perfect. He assured me that everything would go smoothly and indeed it did. I will always recommend Jason to any of my family and friends for their weddings.

Danny is a fantastic DJ. We wanted music to only set the mood and Danny delivered. He kept the night moving along well, and it definitely helped make the night memorable and fun. DJJ Danny is the best!!! He did such an amazing job MCing and DJing our whole wedding from the ceremony through the end of the night. He always made sure to let people know what was going on throughout the night (photo booth, cake cutting, etc) and did a great job reading the room and tailoring the music to fit the crowd. We met with Danny a few times at different events prior to our wedding and he was always such a pleasure to meet with. A true experienced professional and it shows - Highly recommend!

Danny is amazing! My husband created a few different playlists for moods and Danny did the best job reading the room and playing what needed to be played. Danny kept Dr. Dre's word of "the state where ya never find a dance floor empty". He was easy to work with, coordinate with, and plan with and we were never disappointed. Fantastic Job Danny!

It's our first anniversary, so we pulled out the wedding DVD: We (again) were blown away by the great job Danny Farrell/NYC DJ's did in MCing our big day. Danny managed to weave in humor, sweetness, and fun - Our trivia contest (Danny running through the crowd for answers) was classic! Can't say enough about this personable and talented individual.

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding than Danny. We found him through reviews of our venue which has a tricky audio policy. Danny had DJ'd weddings there before so we trusted he would know how to mind the rules while still giving us what we wanted. Our number one priority was that our guests have fun and Danny made sure that happened. Beyond just playing the types of music we requested, he's a really great DJ - mixing songs and keeping the energy up. We met with him once and from that moment on, felt completely taken care of. Danny and NYC DJs did a wonderful job with not only the music for our ceremony, but the entire audio setup, and most valuable to us, great transitions between segments. Danny kept it light and fun and moving. I will recommend NYC DJ to my friends getting married, because the outcome is great as well as the price (because we all want good value no matter our budget).

Danny is the best! He made it super easy to submit the music we wanted, and didn't want, via his survey. We had a small reception on our wedding day and a large party for our friends a few days later. I had lists for everything and he followed them to a T. I had an extensive "do not play" list and he was not swayed by ANY of my guests who protested. When I had questions he was there to give answers and suggestions. His go-with-the-flow attitude made the whole process a breeze. His positive, upbeat personality brought a fun vibe to both parties. Our guests loved him and the music flowed perfectly into the different parts of the night so nothing seemed disjointed or out of place. We got the light package and photo booth for our large party as well. Everyone loved it and there was no shortage of take home photos for all! The only mistake you can make is to not hiring NYC DJ's Entertainment for your event! DO IT!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ experience for our wedding!!! We are super into music and a full, partying dance floor was very important to us. Danny not only made that happen - with tons of compliments from the guests about how great not only the music was, but the DJ's ability to read the crowd - but Danny also was such a pro with everything from set up, to gathering our preferred (very specific) music preferences, to handling the ceremony music and any and everything sound and DJ related. Danny was absolutely incredible! He was able to read the crowd and use that to play the appropriate music. He also worked very well with my bridesmaid who sang a song during the reception. Days after the wedding we still have guests telling us how amazing our DJ was. This was a big decision for my husband and I because your DJ determines the overall flow and mood of the entire wedding. He kept the music and feeling upbeat at the right times but also knew when to slow things down. I couldn’t be happier with Danny! I highly recommend NYC DJ’s.

DJ DANNY..... It is so hard to explain how amazing he is. during the whole wedding planning process, he was great. Always fast to answer my questions about lighting or music styles or what package would fit our wedding best. He is very professional and an amazingly positive and good person. The music at our wedding was off the charts. Everyone was dancing and there were just good vibes all around. I would use DJ Danny for any event that we have in the future and i highly recommend his services. He caters to what you want and to what the guests are feeling as well. DJ Danny is truly the best!

We booked Danny for our wedding reception, and he was awesome to work with. The online forms made it really easy for us to work on our music selections, event info, etc. at our own pace without having to schedule a call, play phone tag, or constantly e-mail back and forth. If we did have any specific questions though, Danny was very helpful in answering them. He was a great MC throughout the reception; he had just the right combination of professionalism, coolness, and energy without any of the stereotypical, cheesy "DJ voice" that we've all heard many times. And when it came time to dance, he put together a great playlist based our selections. Danny was just a genuinely great guy to deal with and really helped our wedding have the vibe we were looking for.

We were very afraid to find a DJ for our wedding, because we know a DJ can make or break the reception vibe. Our friends recommended Danny, and we made an appointment to meet with him. We all instantly hit it off, and felt so comfortable working with him. He did our ceremony and reception-we added the uplighting package and it transformed our hall. He was so good at reading the crowd and making all our guests dance. He also went out of his way to find and download our favorite Yiddish song for the Hora! I would highly recommend Danny!!!

When I started planning my wedding, specifically when I started thinking about the DJ...I immediately thought of Danny Farrell. I had seen Danny DJ a few other events in the past and knew that he would be perfect for my event. Along with being a great DJ, Danny has a great personality so I was confident he would be able to get the crowd moving and participating. We had an Armenian/Mexican wedding and definitely wanted to incorporate both types of music along with the standard. Danny handled this like a pro! Danny was absolutely amazing!! There were multiple times when the dance floor was too packed and people had to dance by their tables. Danny was worth every penny and more. He made a custom mix for the mother son dance! I will always recommend him.

I can't say enough good things about our DJ, Danny! He was AMAZING. When we started planning our wedding, my husband and I talked about the things that were the most important to us: the music and flowers (me, not him) :) We wanted our wedding to be a huge dance party with all of our friends and family so finding a great DJ was our biggest priority. We got Danny's information from our venue, and he came highly recommended. Danny was great in the planning process as well. He was extremely prompt in responding to emails, and he gave us a detailed online checklist of songs to choose for certain parts of the reception. When we met with Danny, we told him our general ideas for the night and gave him some songs we wanted to have played, but that was pretty much it. We've been to some weddings where the couple basically gave the DJ a playlist: we didn't do that because he's the expert and we wanted him to be creative and have fun with it. We totally trusted him. We told him that we just wanted it to be a huge, fun dance party. Well, let me just say, he did not disappoint! The dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night! His song selection was spot on and he read the crowd and the energy in the room perfectly. I'm still getting compliments on how great our DJ was! In fact, at the beginning of our reception, one of my friends ran up to me and said, "Danny was our DJ at our wedding too!" I went to their wedding and it was ridiculously fun: I was on the dance floor the whole night! If you're looking for an awesome DJ, book Danny! You will be so happy you did!

It was my husband's job to pick the DJ for the wedding and he couldn't have done a better job by choosing DJ Danny at NYC DJ's. The whole process was easy, Danny is extremely personable and a great DJ, and he also had so many additional services that really made his company a one stop shop for our wedding. PRO: 1. Danny has a great personality which helps in keeping you calm throughout the planning process and well as setting a fun environment the day of your wedding. I loved that he was also our MC. He made sure everything went smoothly and wasn't overpowering/wanted all the spot light on him (like other DJ/MC's I've seen at some other weddings) 2. He has a music database online that allows you to hand pick your favorite (or do not play) songs. 3. What was extremely helpful to us was the "top picked" songs other clients of his chose for certain parts of the ceremony/reception. (i.e. garter dance song, father/daughter dance song, processional song). This was a great guide to us the last couple weeks when we were selecting songs for the ceremony and reception. When you look online a lot of the songs are older and we felt not appropriate for the vibe we were going for, Danny's list is much more current and fun. 4. He not only provides the music but can also add so much more to the ambiance of your wedding. We created a custom package with mood lighting, our name in lights, light designs, and he also makes photo montages for your slideshow! We honestly shopped around a lot for these mood lights bc it truly can transform any space but can be costly, his was by far the best deal in the area for the service. He also provided the sound system for our ceremony and music for our cocktail hour as well. 5. Danny was really easy to reach by cell phone/email. We had a wedding planner who is really keen on details, but Danny even noticed a mistake she had made on the wrong recessional song and double checked with us and our wedding planner. This really shows he goes above and beyond. 6. We didn't want a lot of 80's music and wanted to focus on top 40's and then EDM towards the end of the night for our friends who really respond to that type of music. Danny delivered and our friends were really impressed with his knowledge of this genre. 7. Throughout the wedding I could easily go up to him and ask him to change the color of the lights a little bit or to make the music louder just a tad and he would do it right on the spot. 8. Everything went without a hitch. I didn't notice any silence, screeching mic sound checks, or awkward transitions throughout the whole night. He is a professional. CON: 1. Since I'm not planning on ever remarrying, I won't be able to use Dj Danny again at my wedding! Perhaps a vowel renewal? or I'll just refer him to my engaged friends so I can experience his Dj skills again soon :) Thank you so much Danny and your staff on making our special day so memorable and FUN! NYC DJ's are the BEST! My wedding was in May in Westlake Village, CA. There are two things my guests can't stop talking about, DJ Jason and the food! lol. So I'd say my wedding was a success! DJ Jason was so awesome. I was really nervous making a final decision on the wedding DJ because they can make or break a reception. I was beyond pleased with DJ Jason. He's has a great personality and fantastic MC skills . He kept my guests on the dance floor all night and interacted with my guests. My fiancé and I suggested a few songs and music genres. DJ Jason took over and mixed different styles of music the entire night. It was perfect! My reception was so much fun!! If you're looking for the perfect wedding DJ, you have to book DJ Jason. The owner of NYC DJs, Danny is very professional and was only a phone call or email away during the planning process. I would recommend NYC DJs to any bride or anyone who wants to throw and epic party!

At the suggestion of our planner, we met with Danny from NYC DJ's. She told us that we could think about other DJs, but that it would be a mistake not to hire him. Good thing we took her advice! Danny was a pleasure to work with and made the night unforgettable. From our very first meeting with him, we liked his style. He said something to us in that first meeting that made us instantly comfortable. He told us that as the DJ, he's there to play music, keep the party going and only speak as much as is necessary in order to keep the event flowing smoothly. It was music to our ears. We gave Danny a general idea of the kind of music we would like to have played and we left the selection entirely up to him (except for the first dance, the mother/son and the father/daughter dances). THE MUSIC WAS AWESOME! We came in $1,000 under budget on alcohol because everyone was having so much fun dancing that they didn't go to the bar. That's one indication that we had a great DJ. Danny is a total professional, a great guy and our wedding wouldn't have been anywhere near as awesome without him. And his prices were fantastic! Do yourself and your guests a huge favor and HIRE NYC DJ'S FOR YOUR WEDDING! Our wedding was more than 2 months ago and people are still telling us how great the DJ was. Danny -- you rock!

Danny is a SUPER nice guy, very responsive, easygoing and fun to have around. He was absolutely fantastic - not just a good DJ with a spot-on sense of pacing and fun, but a genuinely additive presence whose great attitude made him a joy to be around. Requiring minimal direction, he perfectly captured just the right atmosphere and kept it going until party's end. We received compliments from so many of our guests - in praise of both his playlist (which was great) and his skill at seamless transitions. The photos from the wedding are physical proof of the fun everyone had dancing! ***Danny also did our wedding ceremony music, and hit all of the music cues perfectly - fading in and fading out the preprocessional music to the processional, and timing the recessional song perfectly to start the moment our lips touched! He was also flexible in providing microphones/audio for the bride's a cappella group performance. We also booked our photobooth through Danny/NYC DJs and that was fantastic too. We can't say enough!

Danny was a great dj. He was recommended to us by our wedding venue and we have no regrets. He did a great job at our wedding, keeping people on the dance floor. Absolutely everybody danced, young and old. I saw people that I thought I would never see dancing go nuts on the dance floor. He was simply amazing.

We recently had Danny DJ our wedding on August 16, 2014 and I can't express in enough words how AMAZING he was, not only the night of our wedding, but leading up to it. He did a site check, met up again a few weeks before the big day to go over our specific requests, he was so kind and sweet while I sent him random texts of specific requests that we forgot to mention (and there were quite a few). He has great energy, a warm, fun & positive personality, he's clean cut but still has an edge which in my opinion is the perfect balance, he was just perrrrfect. He was on time and on the big day there was not one flaw. DJ Danny has become our family DJ! He did an amazing job at my brother's wedding, my cousin's wedding, our company Christmas party, and my wedding. Needless to say, we trust Danny to host an unforgettable night of fun and nonstop dancing! Each event our family has hosted has required different music needs, but Danny always has people (young AND old) out on the dance floor the whole time loving the music selection. Our dance floor for our wedding was filled with people for the entire allotted dancing time. My fiancé even said, "Wow, I have never seen so many people out on a dance floor doing the 'wobble'!" Also, the form he has you fill out beforehand is so clear as far as what kind of equipment he will need and a list of songs/artists you both love and hate. I was so confident going into the wedding that he knew exactly what we wanted, and I was so pleased when everyone commented on how much they loved the playlist. The final thing we love about Danny is that he does a great job hosting the event without being the center of attention. From the moment that I met Danny (accompanied by my Mom and Sister) we knew that he HAD to be the DJ at my wedding! I was a groom worried about having the best of everything for our wedding! And NYC DJ's surpassed our hopes and expectations! From the beginning we were very comfortable meeting Danny. The first time I heard Danny DJ I was out with my friends. He was so much fun, he had such a good sense of what the crowd wanted to hear and we were dancing all night long. I knew we had to have him for our wedding. From the first meeting I knew we made the right decision in picking Danny. He was so knowledgeable about the entire process that it made it SO easy for us to convey what we wanted for our day. When it came to specifics there was a super easy place on his website where I could sign in and add songs that we wanted to hear as we thought of them. (Though I only ended up filling in the big songs like first dance or father/daughter because I trusted Danny to do what he does best with the rest of the night.) We also asked Danny to travel quite far (we live in CA but were getting married in NE) but that wasn't a problem. Even when we ran into a snag renting equipment. Danny called around and talked to a number of rental places in NE to find what we needed. The day of the wedding he was so great too. He was so much fun! he knew how to keep the guests engaged without being annoying. He knew what to play to maintain an amazing vibe in the room. He was so good at reading the room that at one point he even slipped in a few country songs (a request I had made though its not my husbands favorite genre) and since the timing was so great even my groom was singing along with Garth. In the past I've seen DJ's at weddings turn it into "their show" and take the focus off the bride and groom. I never felt that way with Danny. He found a way of being in control and keeping the wedding on schedule while still making it personal and all about us. Yup, Danny is awesome! He was the DJ at my wedding, and he rocked it! Everyone had a fantastic time. He has this amazing ability of being able to mix your style to appeal to guests of all ages and keep the party going. EVERYONE (all ages) had a blast at my wedding and loved the music. The dance floor was never empty. Danny was great to work with before the wedding. He was flexible, welcoming, and accommodating. He built a package that worked best for our wedding. We chose to work with DJ Danny because he came across as very professional compared to a lot of the other DJ's we met with. A lot of DJs had their own style and were really pushy about how they would handle our wedding. Danny was not this way at all and was very flexible and agreeable to accommodate what we wanted. He did the music for our entire wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour & reception). He proved that he could handle different atmospheres and wasn't just your typical party DJ. There were a few snags along the way, though. When we played our slideshow the audio through the speaker he used was peaking (lots of static and distortion) which took away from the moment. On the wedding day there wasn't a lot of communication between Danny and our Wedding coordinator in terms of the timing during the reception. There were a couple awkward moments when our guests weren't sure what was happening (he announced our buffet dinner before it was ready). Also there also wasn't a lot of communication prior to the wedding day in terms of music selection or guidance. We basically got one email reminder to submit our song preferences on the nyc dj's website. There was no follow up to confirm our style/preferences. Overall it was a very good experience but could have used more open communication between all parties.

We hired NYC DJ’s for 2 nights – our rehearsal dinner party and the wedding ceremony/reception, after seeing/hearing Danny at a friend’s wedding. He also did our videography and lighting. Danny is amazing – he met with us beforehand to see what we wanted specifically for our events. And then when the day came, he followed through on all of our requests – and more. What we actually ended up loving the most was that for our rehearsal party, we asked him to just play nice background music, and he did – but since there was a dance floor at the venue, it seemed like our guests really wanted to dance – and so he started putting on some great dance music (by great, I mean that everyone from 16 to 90 was up and dancing, and that is not an exaggeration!). By the end of the night, nearly everyone was on the dance floor. We didn’t expect such a pre-party, but our guests could not stop talking about how much fun our party was… and the wedding hadn’t even begun yet. He is a great MC as well, and made the guests laugh and feel comfortable without being over the top and cheesy. He was a great mix of subtle and fun-inducing. One thing that he and I talked about beforehand was that we wanted to keep the energy up for the reception – get people up and dancing early – not just sitting for hours listening to the speeches and getting sleepy. He had everyone on the dance floor early, and kept the vibe fun and moving without exhausting the guests. So many of our friends commented to us afterward that they had never been to such a fun wedding where they all felt so included from the moment the reception began. Also, for our ceremony, I couldn’t find a long version of the instrumental that we wanted to use as our processional. Danny was able to loop the song into something long enough to work and it turned out great – we were so happy. We are really excited to see the final videography project as well. There were two camera guys the day of who were everywhere covering everything – they even brought sliders and stedicams to make the shots look more like a real film. Plus, Danny spent a day with my husband and me before the wedding and interviewed us and went with us to cover our engagement photo shoot. It was a lot of fun and we really can’t wait to see the final documentary-style video. He sent us a teaser of the video already and it is really fun/cool – in the style of a movie trailer – we love it! I would recommend Danny/NYC DJ’s to anyone who wants to have fun at their wedding. He is a top-notch professional with a warm personality who is on top of every detail. And the team that he brings with him to the events were also all really friendly and professional.

Danny provided a great balance of music for my daughter's wedding reception. I'd like to think that the reception's success was due to my ability to throw a great party but I strongly suspect that it was Danny's skills that put it over the top.Thanks Danny.

Danny was a great DJ! I interviewed 5 different DJs and I quickly felt that Danny was going to be the one for our wedding. As we live in Hawaii but had the wedding in California, all our planning had to be done by email and phone. Danny was always responsive to my questions and concerns. He played a great selection of music that everyone commented on how much they enjoyed. I would definitely recommend Danny as an awesome addition to any party!

We were on the lookout for a DJ who could gage the crowd, keep the party going, and have great mixes/transitions without being cheesy and Danny fit the bill. His website makes it easy to listen to sample demos, and then add your songs to your custom website (and those do not play songs as well). Danny has a relaxed attitude which was perfect for us and never did he put on those cheesy DJ announcements during the reception, which was something we were definitely looking to avoid. We also had Danny provide the PA system for the ceremony (we had a quartet) and then DJ the reception to create a dynamic change in mood. He has a great music selection and was able to put together a 90s mash-up at our request which everyone loved at the wedding (think a set of 90s brittany, aqua, back street boys, nsync, etc.). Danny also made sure to play all our must play songs earlier on while everyone was still in party mode. It was also fantastic to see everyone on the dance floor for over an hour straight-no break-just dancing, singing to the music, and having a good time. Unfortunately, we did have a hick-up with our bridal party entrance and first dance song: the wrong songs were played for the entrance and our first dance song (which was a mash-up we created)somehow got lost. Not sure how that happened since we did meet with Danny the week of the wedding, went over everything, and e-mailed the song files. Luckily, we had it saved on our phones and were able to hook-up the phone to Danny's PA system. Since we kept cool, most people didn't notice there was a problem. He did definitely apologize, and it was a first for him, but since it happened at our wedding, we're giving an overall rating of a 4. Sadly we hate doing so, but have to considering the situation. Otherwise, we would give Danny a 5. So if you are looking for a DJ who can read the crowd and mood, manage to play my club-dance-party songs and yet my husband's billy holiday (during dinner), manage to come across as laid back and not cheesy, and actually spins, then Danny is your man.

Being a movie producer I'm difficult to impress creatively but Danny was amazing. He was so courteous and completely prepared. Danny took the time to listen to what vibe we were trying to create at the wedding and totally delivered. He was also very conscientious of how important it was to show up and breakdown on time as our venue had a hard in time and out time. The wedding was at The Adamson House in Malibu and we had about two hundred guests. Danny not for one second missed an opportunity to keep the party going. Without a doubt I was definitely enjoying his music right to the end -- they had to pull me, my wife and our dearest friends off the dance floor-;) It was so much fun to see so many people continuing to dance the entire night without pause. In short, you are lucky if Danny is available and he will bring the cool to the party as well as the good entertainment and music. Well worth hiring and definitely a great person as well. Our wedding was a dream and not one detail fell apart. Danny in many ways was the glue for much of the wedding. Just got married on July 3rd, 2013 and could not have imagined our wedding going any smoother....this was largely in part due to DJ Danny Farrell!!! My husband and I were so happy with choosing Danny and NYC DJ's for our wedding! Danny was very professional, friendly, experienced and sooooooo on top of things. Our first dance song was a pretty long song and Danny kindly made the welcome suggestion to cut it a little short to save us the time. Danny was also considerate and professional when he thought to ask us if we were sure about our timeline, because the way we had arranged our important dances was a little unconventional and could come across as anti-climactic. Even though we did not take his suggestion (we were set on our decision), we really did appreciate the fact that he thought about that for us to make sure it was our final choice. ;-) All we can say is he was simply awesome....(especially with our belated personal choices made just a few days before the big day)!!Planning a wedding has so many complicated decisions and it was a blessing once we chose NYC DJs because it was the simplest and most comfortable decision of all to make!!! Danny was the DJ of our reception. He did an exceptional job. It was as if he knew exactly what to play at all times. I had numerous guests ask me about Danny for their future events. Danny was AMAZING!!!!!!!! He kept the music going and had an up beat tempo which made the guests really love the music. From our guests, they couldnt stop raving about his dj work. I asked Danny to provide background music for our beach party the night before the wedding but he did SO much more than that!! Danny read the flow of the party impeccably. Upbeat music at the beginning of the evening as folks were meeting and mingling, an amazing mix while we were eating and chatting and then suddenly, a dance set that somehow managed to get both my 94 year old aunt and the 2 year old twins on the dance floor with the rest of the group, having the time of their lives! Thank you Danny! My only complaint was that I had to scramble to get the shuttles I had hired to stay an extra couple of hours because no one wanted to go home!! A great problem to have. :-)

We are in NYC, and got married in Los Angeles, so after hearing him on soundcloud, we thought he had such a great energy that we booked him over email conversations! Danny was the DJ for our recent October wedding and did an incredible job! The flow of the evening was perfect and he kept the dance floor moving all night. I work in the Weddings and Events department for a five diamond Hotel in Los Angeles, so I thought it would be easy for me to select a good DJ for my wedding, as I had worked with so many at my job and had many connections. By the time I finally decided on a wedding venue, the only date available was about six months out from the date I signed the contract for the venue. With such little time, all of the DJ vendors I had worked with were already booked, which meant that I had to start from square one! My friend, Nas, recommended Danny and said that he was amazing, so my fiance and I decided to set up an appointment with him. From the first time we met with him, we immediately knew that Danny would do an amazing job at our wedding and he was exactly what we were looking for! From a business prospective, he is extremely professional in all of the interactions we had with him, not to mention that he has one of the most classy and professional websites I have ever seen from a DJ business (trust me, most DJ websites are completely cheesy!). He was always courteous and timely in his responses to us and also had a great online tool where we could put together a playlist on his web page and pay our deposits online. With the exception of the first dance, and grand entrance music, we left it up to Danny's discretion to pick the playlist and he did an amazing job! We had a good mix of older and younger guests and he kept the dance floor packed all night with great music! Danny and Nestor were absolutely the best MC/DJ team anyone can ask for. Danny knew exactly how to read the crowd to keep the party going. The music was amazing and everyone danced the entire time. All the guests complimented me on how awesome Danny was and how great the music was.
