Nyejah Bolds Photography

I found out about Nyejah on Instagram & fell in love with her page. I loved how natural her photos looked as well as her range (bright & bubbly, dark & moody, everything in between). Her prices were just as beautiful as her work :) Instead of having a few huge, expensive packages to choose from, she allows you to book by the hour (or even half hour), which allows you to customize your coverage. That was really important to us since we were on a tight budget. Having pictures taken of me was one of the most anxiety inducing things during this whole process, but Nyejah & her husband did an amazing job capturing our wedding day. The pictures are so gorgeous & we got them a lot quicker than I expected! I would recommend her to any & everyone. I'm already trying to find an excuse to book her for another session.

If I could give Nyejah Bold Photography 10 stars, I would. Our photographer cancelled on us the day before the wedding due to Hurricane Barry. We called twelve different photographers only to hear the same story; that they had evacuated or did not feel comfortable taking pictures for a wedding so last minute. It was by God’s grace that we found Nyejah Bolds Photography at the last minute. Nyejah and her incredible team were absolute professionals that saved my wedding day. She was so patient, flexible, and helpful that I could just breathe and enjoy my special day. Her ability to capture my wedding allow us to reflect on that day as it truly was – magical! Nyejah Bolds photography saved the day!! My husband and I ,due to extreame stress chose to run away to his hometown of New Orleans from NJ and elope. I grabbed my dress ,a few family members and our Pastor and drove to N.O... About a week before I fretted over finding a photographer to at least capture the moment at the last minute .Nothing fancy just somebody..and in the middle of the night LITERALLY I found Nyejah...She was so helpful, gave suggestions, was professional and felt like family the whole time. We were late to meet her ,she sat and waited patiently ...I couldn't tell you how grateful I am for her coming through last minute and leaving us with BEAUTIFUL wedding photos to cherish..Thank You Nyejah!!

Nyejah was a blast to work with on our wedding day, and went above and beyond, supporting us during all of the craziness of our big day. She's so much fun to work with, and fit the laid-back, non-traditional style of our wedding perfectly. And, of course, her photos were beautiful, too! We couldn't recommend her more.

After months of stop-and-go planning, my partner and I tabled our wedding plans because we quickly realized that we had no desire to plan a traditional wedding and reception. We called vendors, we got quotes, we even visited venues. But still, we knew that planning a wedding for other people wasn’t what we truly wanted. We scrapped our plans for a wedding and decided to elope. Once we decided to elope, we picked a city...NEW ORLEANS! It checked all the boxes for us: food! cool tours! history! great music! We found Nyejah after asking our officiant for recommendations. She was responsive to emails and provided a very professional website where we could sign and review our contract and offered payment and deposit options via Venmo and Cash App - super convenient! It was sweltering hot on our wedding day and I had a minor makeup fiasco, but Nyejah worked her magic and captured beautiful photos of our elopement ceremony in City Park. We received many compliments from friends and family after sending wedding announcement postcards featuring Nyejah's photos.  Thank you for being a part of our special day, Nyejah!

Nyejah and her team really went above and beyond to make our day amazing. I was not feeling very photogenic and had issues with my makeup but she went out of her way to make sure I was having a good time and felt beautiful. She meshed in so well with my family and guests, we forgot that she was there working. I couldn’t have imagined choosing any other photographer! 10 of 10 would recommend! ☺️☺️☺️
