Nestled along the tranquil forest, Oakland Farm provides soon-to-be-weds with a peaceful, private place to host their life-changing events. Both the indoor and outdoor event spaces offer a romantic backdrop for your ceremony and reception. The large barn boasts a stunning bucolic aesthetic for up to 350 guests to enjoy. The natural wood walls and large windows make for a bright, welcoming atmosphere. The ceiling is decorated with strings of stylish bistro lights and an eye-catching antler chandelier. Couples that prefer an open-air celebration will be welcome to use the large outdoor pavilion. Its tin roof, wooden structure, and elegant drapery make for a stunning reception setting, while the surrounding forestry adds a touch of natural beauty. Landscape lawn areas are also present throughout the property for heartwarming ceremonies or photo sessions. For overnight stays, the Farmhouse is a cozy cottage that includes four bedrooms and a full kitchen to make you feel right at home. The onsite team will work diligently to help you achieve your dream wedding. A venue host will be present throughout your event to make sure everything goes smoothly. ing we could have our dream outdoor ceremony rain or shine.. which ended up coming in handy on our drizzly wedding day. But the scene was still breathe-taking nonetheless. The cherry on top for me were the adorable cows on site that I was more than happy to incorporate into our day!
Outside of the amazing venue, the staff was phenomenal to work with and made what can be stressful planning so much easier! They allowed us to tour the site multiple times so that all sides of the family could check it out before the big day and they were so accommodating when it came to preparing for our rehearsal and wedding day. They were so prompt to answer any emails with questions I had and were very helpful with ideas on how to best set up the space for the number of guests we had.
Simply cannot rave about Oakland Farm enough.. I wish we could relive our wedding day there over and over again!

was perfect. My husband and I went with the all-inclusive package and could not recommend that route enough for couples who wish to be pretty hands-off regarding wedding planning. We worked with Kaitlyn Hockaday, and she was INCREDIBLE! Kaitlyn connected us with all our vendors, answered all our questions (her response time is fantastic), and was there every step of the way. She made the whole process so low-maintenance and we went into our wedding day stress-free, knowing everything would be handled flawlessly. The venue is beautiful and private and was perfect for our smaller wedding (roughly 45 guests). Thank your Oakland Farm for being such an integral part of our big day!

own personal vision. Think of it as a blank page - in a good way! The venue is stunning ON ITS OWN, but can also be transformed however you want with ease. It was incredible! The venue itself is quiet, peaceful and just enough "out of the way." It is close enough to Sanford to be convenient for out of town guests. There is plenty of parking as well.
The weekend package is the way to go - such a great value and provides so much flexibility. We did not have to rush the entire weekend! The farmhouse was wonderful for getting ready. My bridesmaids and I spent the night before the wedding (after the rehearsal dinner) at the farmhouse as well. It was so much fun and beyond convenient.
Oakland has a great list of preferred vendors, but allows you to use your selected vendors without restriction. This was such a big deal to me!
Again, the team was so easy to work with and made the planning process much easier than I thought it would be. I can't recommend them or Oakland Farm enough.

all around wonderful. We had access to the farm anytime we needed for any photos for vendors! (they accommodate very well). The price was straight forward and we didn’t get any surprise charges last minute. Going in my only concern was the grooms suit being it was a little small but from what I hear from my now husband and his 8 groomsmen they still had plenty of room to cut up! The team Oakland has is outstanding and the venue is just simply a treasure. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a stress free beautiful place inside and out!

April 4, 2020. But they graciously allowed us to reschedule not once, but twice to allow us to have the wedding we wanted! They also allowed us to use the venue June 13, 2020 for an intimate family ceremony and then August 29,2020 to have the wedding we originally planned. Kaitlyn, the coordinator at Oakland Farm, was prompt with responses and if she didn't know the answer, she found it.
I would without a doubt recommend Oakland Farm to any couple getting married!

sure our dream wedding came true! The barn and pavilion are spacious, simple and rustic! It’s a working farm with cows and horses which just adds to the appeal! The farmhouse that comes with the venue was amazing, with a fully stocked kitchen and linens for me and my girls to stay in the night before and get ready in the day of! We were able to rent the venue from Thursday morning to Sunday night which cut our stress levels down SO mMUCH! Seriously ladies, if you want a barn wedding, don’t skip out on this place!

the indoor option was incredibly important to us, and it turned out beautifully. The price is reasonable and all of my bridesmaids and I stayed on site starting on Thursday and that was a fantastic option to have as a lot of them traveled from out of town. I highly recommend this venue.
