him through my year and a half of planning and he answered with such knowledge that made me feel so comfortable when I was stressing. We did our engagement shoot with Caleb as well and I couldn't have loved the way they turned out more. Planning a wedding yourself is stressful so you have to trust the vendors you hire to help you and Caleb was an incredible vendor to have to guide me. I was very stressed with making sure we have all of the shots we wanted while having him for what ended up feeling like such limited time and having to travel from one spot to another along with being in the city of Chicago which is not easy to navigate. He handled our requests and desires with such ease you know he's great at what he does! Caleb also scoped out the photo spot we wanted ahead of time and ended up pulling some strings for us to still get into the gardens while there was an event going on and I could not have even foreseen that without his help. His wife, Alex, is his second shooter and she is an amazing support to him to help get all of us in line for him to do his best work. We also had video through Pickman Photography and his cousin who shot for us was getting absolutely everything to really have such a full sense of everything that was happening all day. We had a large wedding with traveling to new locations and a lot of different people to wrangle and Pickman Photography did an incredible job with putting up with us, keeping us on schedule and capturing all the moments we want to relive forever. We cannot wait to see how our wedding photo and video turns out from the wedding because we know they are going to be absolutely perfect when we had this crew on our side. f the hottest days of the summer - 95+ degree temps. Needless to say, by the end of the shoot we were all SO sweaty but you can't tell in any of our photos! Despite the wicked heat, Caleb spent an hour and a half with us taking tons of shots, suggesting lots of poses, getting on the ground for cool angles, and ensuring we got the shots we were hoping for. He is such a nice guy and both my fiancé and I felt completely comfortable with him. To top it all off, our sneak peak was shared 4 days after the shoot and we got all our pictures 3 weeks after that - so fast! We don't have enough good things to say about Pickman Photography! We can't wait for our big day and are so glad Caleb will be capturing each moment!
UPDATE: Caleb and his team did such an amazing job capturing our special day that it took us exactly a year to put it into words. Caleb is exactly what you want in a wedding photographer--professional, quick to respond, always on time, and has a creative eye for photo opportunities. We were left with stunning photos that friends and family still obsessed over. We originally did not want videography, but changed our minds a couple months before our wedding and are so glad we did! Having the ceremony, speeches and dances on video for us to watch every year is priceless. We can't thank Caleb enough for capturing our day so perfectly and for leaving us with such gorgeous photos!
