We had a wonderful experience with Morayo at our rainy Monday morning wedding ceremony. She was relaxed, yet efficient and had a wonderful way of moving around without us even knowing where she was -- the sign of an incredibly experienced photographer. She even managed to use the rain to curate creative and special photos. She is top notch and we highly recommend her!

When I met Morayo at a bridal show what struck me about her body of work was how vivid, happy and RELAXED everyone was in their pictures. After working with her, I now know why. She was a blast to work with!! As someone who doesn't like having their picture taken I felt completely at ease with Mo. From our engagement session and our wedding we have two sets of amazing photos that completely capture how my husband and I feel about each other and the mood of the day. I couldn't be happier with how our wedding photos turned out. She even ran across a parking lot covered in a trash bag in the pouring rain to capture the one image I truly wanted from my day. All that effort was worth it because the image she captured was spectacular. My only problem is there are so many great photos I have trouble picking which ones are my favorite!!!

Choosing a photographer felt like one of the most important decisions when it came to planning for our wedding. We knew that we not only wanted someone who would take beautiful pictures but also someone who we would enjoy spending time with. I don't think most people realize how much time you spent with your photographer on you wedding day. Morayo felt more like an extended part of our family and friends, her sense of humor and flexibility were just what we needed. Our photos turned out better than I could have imagined, and I often find myself looking at them during random times of the day. Our package included a photo album and working through this process was such a nice way to debrief from the wedding and share memories. Mo at Piper Brown Photography is AMAZING and I highly recommend her to anybody looking for an organized, fun, and super talented wedding photographer! We worked with her for our September 2022 wedding in Rehoboth, MA. The planning process was so easy - we met with Mo a couple of times so she could get to know us and our personalities. This was really helpful for us since we opted not to do an engagement shoot and instead did an hourly package. We outlined timing and the order of family shots, and we felt very prepared in the days leading up to the event. Mo was an absolute rockstar the day of the wedding. From the moment she arrived onsite, she was running around snapping photos of people, places, and details. Everything moved quickly, but with such care and intentionality that it did not feel stressful. Since she was familiar with our venue, Mo knew the best locations for the first look and formal portraits. When the locations we had previously selected for our photos would not work because of lighting issues, Mo helped us find somewhere else that worked even better. She was also incredibly fun to work with and helped us all feel comfortable in front of the camera. We got the link to our online photo album about two weeks after the wedding - way ahead of schedule! Every photo truly captured the energy of the day. They are all so joyous and filled with love! We had an incredibly positive experience working with Mo and Piper Brown Photography for our wedding photography and strongly recommend them to everybody!

Let me just start by saying WOW! We wanted our wedding photos to be natural and fun. From engagement photos straight through to our wedding day, the owner Mo absolutely BLEW ME AWAY. My fiance and I had never had professional pictures taken together before these events and she was so natural, full of energy, funny & made us feel so comfortable. Where do I start? Mo was an excellent photographer. Her and her assistant were both creative and had amazing attention to detail. She made us feel so comfortable. It felt natural posing for pictures under her guidance. Even the staged photos felt natural, she did a great job directing us. When we received our digital images, I fell in love with them. The lighting and the moments she captured could not have been more perfect. Not only is Mo an extremely skilled photographer, she is also an absolute pleasure to work with. Mo and her assistant we’re extremely accommodating to my strange requests. I don’t want to admit to being a Bridezella” but Mo embraced me for who I was. I found Mo doing a Google and Yelp search for LGBTQ+ friendly photographers in the Providence area. I wanted to have a photographer to capture when I proposed to my partner. Mo was quick to respond and actually took the time to get to know me and what I was looking to have captured. When I tell you she made this process easy, it's an understatement. I was coordinating this from San Diego, CA, haven't lived in RI in 10 years and was planning to propose after flying in on a red eye. Clearly a lot could have gone wrong and I had no clue what I was doing. Mo took control and helped set the tone of afternoon to make this perfect. In true New England fashion, the weather was not cooperating, but Mo made some adjustments to still make this happen exactly how I envisioned it. She was flexible, patient and most important, kind. She helped make one of the most important days of my life so incredibly special. I'm so thankful she was there to capture the absolute joy and love my partner have for each other on this special day.

Going into wedding planning, I knew I needed an amazing photographer. After the food has been consumed and the music had ended, you’re left with the photos of your special day. These are the photos you’ll be looking at with your family and friends for years to come, the ones that will become a part of yours and your families decor. I knew I wanted someone creative enough to envision the shots and talented and experienced enough to pull it off. I found that with Piper Brown Photography. But what I realized on in wedding day was how much personality mattered. First of all, I would never hire a vendor I didn’t like, no matter how good they were at their job. But I felt that Mo and I clicked right from the beginning. What I didn’t realize was just how big of a part of your photographer played on wedding day. It’s so much more that taking photos. They’re with you the entire time to create and capture all those special moments. She was there for all the laughter and all the tears. But it was more than that. She was also there to keep our large family on task during portrait shots. She was there to calm me and helped my mom with my veil when I was on the verge of a meltdown. She was there to make us laugh and smile at all the right moments so even our portraits looked candid. She was there with a quick wit whenever I seemed forlorn about the fact that it rained on our wedding day (I know, I know, it’s good luck) and canceled my plans for an outdoor cliffside ceremony at the venue I picked because of its picturesque views. And somehow, she was able to turn that same rain that erased those amazing views, and used it to create the most breathtaking shots. I heard the food was good and the cake was delicious. I remember the DJ being great. I receiver so many compliments on my gorgeous bridal bouquet and our charismatic Officient. But months later, it’s the photos that I look at every day that never fail to make my breath catch and take me back to relive all the moments of that special day.

Mo was wonderful to work with! She made us feel at ease, and was accommodating and fun to work with. And of course, her photos came out beautifully! We got so many compliments on her talented work.

Piper Brown Photography and team were a dream to work with. After being postponed because of COVID restrictions twice, Piper Brown stuck with us and made sure that we had an ultra special day of photos. From the engagement shoot to our wedding day, they were so caring, professional and enthusiastic! We had an Indian Fusion wedding with many moving parts and they were there for all of the important aspects of our day. The ease and efficiency in which they work is so impressive. When our time together was running out, they guided us to ensure that we got all the shots we wanted from the day. When considering someone for your wedding photography, I really wouldn't bother looking at anyone else except Piper Brown! The results of their work were absolutely stunning and I can honestly say that I am obsessed with the final product! Thank you for everything!

Mo was an absolute pleasure to work with from the pre-wedding planning through the actual day of and review of our photos. We had initially booked a different photographer for a May 2020 wedding but when we had to postpone our wedding to October 2021 due to COVID, we also had to find a new photographer. We loved Mo’s style and she was extremely responsive as soon as we reached out to her. She was very straightforward and simple with her explanation of pricing/services offered and it never felt like she was trying to sell us anything we didn’t need or want. She made sure she understood our vision for the day and the photos and then helped develop a photographer bundle that worked within our budget. She was very organized and we felt very comfortable with the photography plan leading up to the wedding. She made sure to keep track of what photos we wanted/who we wanted photos with so she could create a schedule. On the day of the wedding, she was an absolute hit! My husband and I had already grown to love her, but all of the wedding party, family and friends remarked on how fun and energetic she was. She made us all feel very comfortable during the photos and made sure we were enjoying ourselves as well. She did a really nice job with organizing the types and timing of photos to minimize the time we and our wedding party spent away from the cocktail hour and the party. The pictures themselves turned out fantastic - we absolutely love them and will cherish them forever. There are also A TON of them, which allows us to relive the day through photos! My only critique was the timing of receiving the photos after the wedding. I know it was a busy fall/winter wedding season for Mo, so much of this may have been out of her control. We had an initial meeting set up to review our photos about 4 weeks after the wedding. We unfortunately had to reschedule and weren’t able to get another meeting with her until about 10 weeks after the wedding. We were just so anxious to see the photos! Overall it was a phenomenal experience working with Mo and she really did help make our celebration so so special. I would highly recommend her to any family member or loved one looking for a photographer!

I cannot say enough good things about Mo and her work for our wedding. She was very responsive in the planning process beforehand and did an absolutely amazing job the day of! She was on top of everything and everyone in our wedding party loved working with her! She even got us a few sneak peak photos back within a day or two and they are STUNNING! Do yourself a favor and hire her for your wedding! You will not regret it!

Mo had photographed our September wedding in Sturbridge Massachusetts and hiring her was a no brainer! I first meet Mo at a wedding expo and her personality was just amazing. I took all her information and went on with my day. A few months later I ran into her at another bridal expo and we just clicked again. Her photos were just so vibrant and beautiful. My partner and I are pretty camera-shy, but Mo kept us both laughing, engaged, and relaxed, which was especially helpful because our engagement shoot location was very busy! She also assessed our wedding day location really well and snuck in a super cute picture of our rings. We didn't even know about it until we got the full album - it's one of our favorites! All of the photos are BEAUTIFUL, you will not regret hiring Mo.

Weddings can be stressful enough. But we had ours on the very cusp of the full-blown COVID crisis, March 14th. Despite all the craziness, Mo made the day a breeze. That's a testament to both her personality and her professionalism. We started planning our wedding three months before our date and needed to find a quality photographer, fast. Our friends recommended Mo, who had shot their wedding. When we emailed her, she called us that same night. Right away, we clicked. Even over the phone, she was so friendly, easygoing, and flexible. She also knew the right questions to ask. From talking to her, we discovered there were details of the day we hadn't thought to plan for yet. It was like having a photographer/wedding guide in one. Once we booked her, every step of the process was clearly laid out. We always knew what was supposed to happen, when - from creating the shotlist to making downpayments. The day of the wedding, Mo somehow made those nerve-wracking hours in the lead up to the ceremony both fun and relaxing. She knew how to deftly maneuver family members through the group shots - including an energetic 5-year-old nephew - and our couple's shots were a fun collaboration of her ideas and ours. During the ceremony and reception, she was so unobtrustive, we hardly knew she was there. But when the sun was setting outside, which we were oblivious to, she knew to grab us for a few quick shots. Oh, and the photos? They were great - a mix of classically beautiful pictures and candid, documentary-style moments. All happy reminders of a happy day!

Mo was amazing! She was incredibly communicative before, during, and after the wedding. She got there early and made sure to ask everything she needed to while being respectful of the fact that I had a lot going on. She even made sure that my parents got seats when she saw that they ended up with nowhere to sit. She was truly incredible and great to work with, I could not recommend her highly enough.

Wonderful photographer! Mo was with us for 10 hours, and got so many great photos! From getting ready, to the ceremony, to the reception, to helping us recreate our proposal. She was fun to work with, but able to get our large wedding party to fall in line for group shots.

If you are taking on the daunting task of planning your own wedding, sometimes the process of selecting vendors and meeting with them can add to that stress. Morayo however is one vendor who will take your stress away. Mo is one of the best people we have met and she went above and beyond all our expectations. She truly has a gift when it comes to capturing all your perfect moments. When I first met her she showed us a brilliant selection of the work she has done and explained how she works, she is funny and interactive. She can help even the shyest of brides, like me, come out of their shell so they can truly work the camera and become the star you are meant to be on your wedding day. Her prices for a couple on a budget were also incredibly reasonable; especially since her work is priceless. We purchased a package that included an engagement photo session and she met us on time and was ready to get right into taking our photos. The entire experience moved smoothly, she even had us laughing and got us to loosen up. If you aren’t a natural diva don’t worry she will show you how to stand where to put your hands the whole nine, you never have to worry about looking bad in one of her photos. When it finally came time for the wedding day I had her up with me in my bridal suite taking some photos before the big event. I was honestly so nervous and didn’t know what to do with myself that she helped me overcome this; she played music to lighten up the atmosphere made jokes and even gave me something to focus my energy on so all my nerves washed away. Aside from being a photographer she also helped adjust my the train on my dress and with her eagle eyes helped find the bustle on my own dress and on my sister’s dress. My family even loved her with my mother and sister saying “she’s cool.” Her photos were gorgeous and I love everything she was able to do for me on that day. Morayo was able to provide us a sneak peak of her work before she released all the photos which help any bride who has anxiety about how everything looked, this is a huge plus. She captured everything I was looking for when it came to my photos the venue, my cake, rings, dress, guests and most importantly my entire family. I honestly would recommend this woman to anyone I know getting married or even looking for someone to do Christmas cards. She is simply the best, I could not be happier.

Piper brown photography review Overall 3.3/5 Quality of photos 4/5 The overall quality of these photos are top notch as far as I can tell. Each one is high def and looks great. The only complaint might be in the fine details of the pictures such as an outline of a phone in the grooms's pocket. Photo selection 3/5 The photo selection is a tough review. Ultimately we did not receive the pictures we wanted and discussed as top priority before the wedding. As such this was a big disappointment. However there were pictures we didn't know we wanted and were happy to have afterwards. I'd estimate that half of our album is formal in nature and not what we wanted to be the focus at all. We had specifically stated that we didn't care about formals aside from a very select few. However, the day of the wedding everyone followed us and the formal session turned into a bigger thing than anticipated. We got caught up in the moment and let it be. Not necessarily Piper's fault by any means. But it could have been arranged better. The real problem with photo selection.... Comes down to the fact that the bride had adamantly requested pictures of the groom and son getting ready and received none of those. While she had many pictures of herself getting ready which she didn't want. Professionalism 3/5 Many aspects seemed fine. She had questionairres to fill out before our initial meetings so she was prepared to ask for the finer details of what we wanted. She had a good amount of knowledge as far as typical wedding structure goes. She asked questions that helped us form better ideas and concepts for our day. The issues are mainly tardiness and not fulfilling our priority request. She was late to multiple meetings. And though we didn't necessarily mind so much, it's still an aspect of professionalism. Another consideration is that she had offered us a free 16x20 photo of our choice to make up for the appearance of her office. Which we didn't consider a problem at all, but it was appreciated.

I can't say enough about how great Morayo is. She is so down to earth and has a awesome personality. Right away we knew she was right for us. Her pictures came out amazing! I am very happy we chose Piper Brown Photography to capture our wedding day.

How do I begin to review Mo and Piper Brown Photography? I don’t think my husband and I could have chosen a better photographer for our wedding at Lakeview Pavilion on February 23, 2019! Mo is awesome! Her prices are reasonable and has packages to fit pretty much any budget. She is professional, but has such a laid-back, fun personality and is so easy to work with. We did our engagement shots with her on one of the hottest days of the year, and she took it all in stride. Even though we were all melting into puddles from the oppressive heat, you would never be able to tell that in our photos. Before our big day, we met with Mo to go over a list of all of the special shots that we wanted to include that day. On our actual wedding day, Mo arrived with the second photographer we requested, Kayla Hendrick from Bright Light Imagery, on time and kept a low profile while taking photographs. They only stepped in occasionally to ask us to pose for a picture or to get specific shots we requested. Also, formal photography can be uncomfortable, but Mo kept us laughing to lighten the mood and told us exactly how to pose to get the right angles. Her fun personality continued during the reception where she took photos of everything and was right out on the dance floor getting all of the action shots of the guests. About 3 weeks after our wedding, we received all of the photos from that night! There were almost 900 photos to go through but it was so much fun to relive the best night of our lives. I also want to give a shout out to Mo’s assistant, Aidan. He is a polite, professional young man and did a wonderful job taking semi-formal and group shots that we requested, some right on the spot. Thank you all for making our wedding a dream come true and for taking the most beautiful pictures for us to have for years to come!

This review is LONG overdue and much deserved. I honestly can’t thank Mo enough for the incredible job she had done with our wedding photos August, 2018 (I said this was long overdue). Not only did Mo capture our day perfectly, she also did it last minute! We originally had another photographer booked, but the week of our wedding, our photographer broke her leg. I know, it’s crazy and I felt terrible for our photographer. Mo stepped right in and it was like we were working with her all along! She was super organized (I was not), she knew exactly what we wanted and did it was such ease and grace, and she knew exactly how to work with our large, crazy families. She was so patient, kind, and understanding, and I it was a fantastic experience overall.

From the day my fiance and I met Mo, I knew she was the photographer we wanted. Mo made us feel very comfortable, helped us with poses (we aren't familiar with bring in front a camera lol), & captured our love. During my wedding, Mo made sure to get every picture idea I gave her & I couldn't be more happy about that! You won't regret having Mo for your photographer for any occasion!

Morayo is an incredible photographer who takes her job seriously (and also likes to have a lot of fun). Her photography services are affordable and her skills are impeccable. We received hundreds and hundreds of beautiful photos from our wedding and we couldn’t be any more pleased. Above that, she sends you a box of print outs with her favorite photos along with a usb drive of all the amazing pictures she took — and her turnaround time is quick, too. Morayo is also sensitive to accessibility needs and is LGBTQ friendly and inclusive.

Morayo is incredible. I’m brown and my husband is white, so we specifically sought a wedding photographer who could photograph very dark-skinned people and very light-skinned people in the same photograph without losing one of the people (many photographers are surprisingly terrible at this!). I took a quick peek at Morayo’s website filled with beautiful, flattering photographs of people of all different colors and knew she was our person. She had her work cut out with us. I am SUPER uncomfortable with PDA, and also make weird faces when I’m uncomfortable, but at our engagement session she somehow captured the most beautiful, natural photos of the two of us. At the wedding she captured all of the small moments, and all of the joy on everyone’s faces. She incredibly talented, bubbly, funny, and makes every effort to get the perfect photograph. She is the secret Wonder Woman of the photography world. Thank you Mo!

For all the brides & grooms looking for a wedding photographer this is the one! Morayo was spectacular in photographing the wedding. You would never know she was there. Morayo and her assistant (forgive me but I forgot her name) captured every detail. From the “getting ready” part of the day to dancing the night away she captured every moment perfectly! I know exactly how stressful it is to get the perfect shots (I assisted on many weddings myself) and she did it flawlessly!

Do yourselves a favor and hire Mo as your wedding photographer!! Her work in INCREDIBLE. She took the most beautiful, colorful photographs. I laughed and cried when the flash drive came along with some prints. She got the images I wanted and some I didn't know I would love so much.

Morayo was amazing - extremely responsive and communicative before our wedding and very professional during. We had a rowdy group of 140 and she was able to wrangle us all together miraculously. We just got the final images and they are stunning - great staged photos and many candids that are my favorite. She has a great creative flair as well and was able to accurately portray the beauty of the setting. We loved working with Morayo! She was super flexible when it came to meeting with us. Mo was fabulous. We did not get to talk much before the wedding but she knew exactly what we wanted. She made sure to get the important images and directed us in a way to make incredible images. Highly recommend

Mo. Was. AMAZING! I had two search criterias while trying to find a photographer: 1. Don't cost a fortune and 2. Don't have pictures look like they were taken with a flip phone. Mo made it to a group with criteria #1 and eventually became the only photographer we met with. She has a fun personality and that worked great with our wedding party. She paid attention to the ideas I had pinned and even pulled them up while taking pictures the day of. Our flash drive was packaged so adorably and we had it (with full printing rights!) the week after the wedding. I truly cannot imagine going with any other photographer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
