he first meeting was with Polished Occasions. Polished Occasions was the first and only meeting that we had. My niece and her fiancé, Jon, loved the energy, knowledge and professionalism of Aiyesha and did not want to look any further. Aiyesha and the entire team were amazing from beginning to end. They were always willing to answer questions and never came across as annoyed or frustrated. They were always ‘early’ to appointments. On wedding day, Aiyesha and Tony were there early and truly made the day go smoothly. There was a major issue that occurred, however no one knew until after it was handled and taken care of (Aiyesha saved the day and prevented a lot of tears and a possible trip to jail). The vendors all worked ahead of schedule and were professional and thorough. The only regret I have is not purchasing ‘The Polished Occasion’, which is the full service package (and the most detailed package). Thank you Polished Occasions and Aiyesha for making 'The Lewis' wedding memorable, fun, organized, and the talk of the town. I highly recommend Polished Occasion and I would give 10 stars if I could.

do it all over again Aiyesha would be my number one pick. She was so professional and timely, my pastor even mentioned in all his years officiating she was the only person to actually be on time with the wedding. There were no worries or fears I had because I knew she was going to make everything perfect and I am so appreciative of her. Her and Tony really made my wedding stand out against most because of their effort and time they put into everything. I genuinely miss the conversations and discussions we had. She assisted me in almost everything for the wedding down to making sure I had party favors to the guest to what time everyone needed to arrive to the wedding. Not one thing went wrong on my special day and I know it was because of her. 10/10 highly recommend!

I was nervous about having a rehearsal on the day of our wedding (since our venue wasn’t available for days beforehand), but she whipped my wedding party into shape in a matter of minutes! yesha makes you feel like a friend and not just a bride, she talked me down from meltdowns and was quick on her feet when it decided to pour down rain on our wedding day and when my makeup artist cancelled a week before the wedding lol. All her vendor referrals were impeccable and everything turned out beautifully. She handled everything and my wedding day was seamless, I could not recommend a better planner. I'm actually sad the wedding is over because she made the experience so special. All my events will be planned by Aiyesha and her team, anyone else could not compare!

d felt like a number due to all of the events they had prior to my wedding. At times I honestly felt like I was an inconvenience or burdensome by the responses I received but being that this was my first and only wedding I wanted things to go as planned. As my wedding approached, some details went overlooked which caused me to have to pay extra the week of the wedding: not to mention details that I specifically requested regarding my wedding party lineup were slighted at rehearsal and the day of due to time. I understand that weddings aren’t all going to be perfect. I was just hoping that hiring a planner would feel more like they work for me instead of me working for them. I do not feel I got the undivided attention I needed weeks leading up to my wedding due to other events they had scheduled. It wasn’t until the week of that I felt of importance which had my anxiety skyrocketing . I was fortunate to get great vendors and Aiyesha and her staff definitely have a great system. At times months leading up to the wedding , when I felt stressed , I was calmed down. The patience ran out and I could tell. I think customer service would be the only thing I would say could improve. I will say that my wedding was absolutely gorgeous and my wedding day went very smoothly. Aiyesha and her staff made sure I was under no stress and they handled everything on the day of. I’d like to reiterate. The day of I legit had no worries! That meant a lot but I would be remised if I didn’t mention the emotions I felt leading up to the day. I’m grateful for the experience.

Every single interaction with Aiyesha leading up to our wedding day put us at ease and got us excited to celebrate our love. She was so professional and transparent about her services and what she needed from us. I always felt like she had our back and trusted our vision of the day and that was a huge contrast to the planner we had originally started this process with. The day of—it was perfect!! Aiyesha even went to an in person meeting for me with my sister at an outdoor venue to scope out an alternative location - that meant a lot to us! That’s just one of many examples. Once we landed on a final date, location and secured all of the vendors (that were mainly referred by Aiyesha), Aiyesha prepared a detailed day of timeline and her team was the first to show up the day of, dressed professionally and ready to make our day special! They brought great energy, and at all times we felt like they had everything together! I just give Aiyesha so much credit for making our wedding planning experience and day of one to remember (in a great way) even during a year such as 2020!
