Joe was an incredible MC and DJ for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception earlier this month. We met with several DJs ahead of our wedding but we knew Joe was the right person as soon as we spoke with him for our initial call. With a guest list full of family and friends who love to dance, we cared a lot about the music for every aspect of our day. With that came many specific requests and Joe demonstrated both kindness and patience as we described all of the details that we envisioned for our day. We had also expressed to him that as a same-sex couple, it made us feel so welcomed to see all different types of couples represented on his website. To give you an example of how thoughtful and detail-oriented he is, in the forms he shared with us to fill out, there was never a field where we had to fill out a box that said "bride" — he went as far as to make adjustments to the forms that indicated that we were both grooms. His inclusive adjustments made a huge difference in our experience. Aside from that, Joe was generous with his time and made sure all of our questions were answered. On the wedding day itself, Joe was an absolute hero and he took an incredible amount of care to ensure the day went perfectly. We had a rain scare with our outdoor ceremony and he remained calm and ready to adjust. Luckily, we were able to proceed as planned, and we knew we didn't have to worry about a thing because he was there to ensure everything would run smoothly. We had many parts to our ceremony with several music cues, and Joe nailed them perfectly. Lastly, we were running way behind for our reception, and Joe navigated the time delays with flexibility and ease, adapting to needs on-the-spot as if it was exactly part of the schedule. He also very thoughtfully checked in with us regularly throughout the night to ensure we had everything we needed. It created such a sense of calm and reassurance, and we can't thank him enough. We will never forget how he showed up for our wedding and went above and beyond to ensure it was the day we imagined. It’s hard to shop around for DJs when you don’t throw huge events like weddings very often. PZO was recommended by our venue, along with others, and based on some good reviews we selected PZO. I have an eclectic taste in music comprised of indie, folk, ska, hip hop, and punk - not things that usually promote dancing or please the masses, especially among the older family members. Joe was able to include music I liked while also keeping the dance floor full and fun all night long. He mixed in songs seamlessly and had a great variety to please everyone. Joe’s professionalism and attentiveness throughout our planning process was superb. Joe always responded to emails within 24 hours, often sooner. When our wedding was postponed a year due to Covid, Joe was very flexible, understanding, and easy to reschedule with. On the day of, Joe was attentive and great at communicating with us regarding timelines, introductions, etc. without distracting us from our day. Joe was not an overly active DJ on a microphone which was very important to us - a good DJ doesn’t need to tell people to get up and dance, they play music that makes people do just that. We highly recommend Joe for weddings or other events.

I am ‘The Father of the Bride” (last one!!!! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!!) I’m in Atlanta, daughter was in Philly when the couple decided to move their wedding up to October, that put us in a time crunch. There is only one thing to say about Joe – hire him, hire him, hire him!! Joe was so great to work with, so patient and helpful and the music was AMAZING!! The music was paired perfectly throughout the day, and we danced the night away with plenty of old-school favorites and trendy new jams! Joe was great from start to finish. Very flexible with song requests and knowledgeable in just about every genre. My wife and I had no idea what kind of music to play for our ceremony, but Joe had a sample Playlist already created that we were able to choose our songs from. He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and we would recommend him to anyone.

Joe is truly a master of his craft and such a kind, genuine person. You can tell that Joe is passionate about what he does – he genuinely loves it and it shows. He was amazing through every step of the process, always willing to talk if we had questions, and even helped me create a couple of musical surprises for my husband on the day. He was so easy to work with, always getting back to us quickly, answering every little question about details we had, and pulled it off with perfection. He arrived plenty early, and helped to keep everything on track (without me having to lift a finger). He checked in regularly to make sure all was going well and to see if there was anything he could do to help. There was even a time that a request came up that was in the gray area of what we had asked him not to play, and he ran it by us when we had a free moment to make sure we were okay with it. We gave him a bunch of ideas for what we wanted, and he absolutely NAILED not only the music choices, but the exact vibe we were hoping for. Joe was a joy to work with and we cannot rave enough about all he did to make our day amazing. We are so blessed and thankful to have been able to work with him!

Joe Pizzio was amazing to work with! Of all the vendors we worked with, he was by far the easiest, most down-to-earth, and professional. He made the planning a breeze, and created the exact atmosphere we wanted on our wedding day. It's important to work with someone during the planning process who takes the stress off your plate, rather than adding to it. With all the built-in stresses of planning a wedding, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to rely on Joe to be responsive, and most importantly, an all-around good guy. He was always available to help with song suggestions, and even helped me fuse a couple songs together for my father-daughter dance that really special to us. And he really came through on the day. We felt like he was leading the day with our best interest in mind more so than our venue. Also, you never expect to experience awkward situations on your wedding day, but they definitely come up, and Joe is very prepared to handle them with your best interest in mind so you can focus on enjoying the day. Joe is also very reasonably priced for the service he offers. We were very grateful to have his support and would definitely recommend his services!

Joe was so great to work with and such an incredible DJ. He offered great suggestions when we weren't sure of what we wanted, and he took all of our song requests, even though we sent them all to him only a few days before the wedding. Our guests ranged in age and he managed to make everyone happy. We had guests coming up to us that night and later on saying how great the music choices were. He provided all of the equipment we needed to make live musicians, include a keyboard that he provided the cords and speaker for, work and microphone for the officiant. He was always quick to respond to our emails and questions. Overall he was a great DJ and wonderful to work with.

Joe is the absolute best of the best! He is kind, fun and genuine in his desire to help make your day perfect! He is always on time and usually ahead of schedule so helping out however he can! I truly cannot rave about him enough! Our wedding was perfect and Joe was certainly a part of making sure we had everything we wanted (which was a lot and he never balked at it) and that our guests were entertained and having a great time! Joe Pizzio of PZO productions was a terrific DJ, as well as a really nice person to work with in planning the perfect music for our wedding reception. He was great to discuss music options with over the phone, and responded quickly to my emails. He is very personable and went above his job duties to make our day perfect. Wow - Joe was an incredible DJ to work with for our winter wedding! We had our first DJ cancel on us but Joe stepped in and made sure everything ran perfectly smoothly. Joe did an AMAZING job djing and mcing my wedding! I was intrigued to see how the evening would go especially because my husband and I had Joe mix many different styles of music.
