Unfortunately, what should have been one of the happiest days of my life became an unnecessarily stressful experience due to several issues with the venue’s group sales and food & ...beverage team.
Upon arriving at our scheduled decorating time, we found that none of the ceremony or reception spaces had been set up. Given that we were allotted only two hours to decorate both areas, this delay significantly impacted our timeline and created additional stress on an already busy day.
There was also no designated space for the bridal party to gather, line up before the ceremony, or store personal belongings. After multiple requests, we were provided a room to store our cupcakes; however, once the ceremony began, the room was locked, preventing us from accessing them when needed.
Following the wedding, I received an email stating that we would be charged for 14 additional guests who had reportedly attended and eaten at the reception, bringing the total guest count to 68. This was concerning, as our original guest list before any RSVPs or declines were received consisted of only 54 guests, making the claim clearly inaccurate.
Throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself, communication was inconsistent, and there appeared to be a lack of coordination among staff members. The overall experience fell well short of the level of organization and professionalism one would expect when hosting such an important event.
While I am grateful to have celebrated my wedding with family and friends, I would not recommend this venue to couples seeking a seamless and well-managed wedding experience.
